Trump Blows Biden Away In Stunning New Poll

By Mediaite. Former President Donald Trump scored a shockingly high 59 percent approval in one recent poll, much higher than in most other polls — and 12 points higher than President Joe Biden in that same poll. . .

That poll did, indeed, link to an Emerson College poll that not only showed Trump with that favorability rating, but a 12-point advantage over Biden’s favorability:

Former President Trump has a nearly 12-point favorability advantage over Biden: 59% of voters say they are somewhat or very favorable of Trump, compared with 47% who are somewhat or very favorable of Biden. In a hypothetical 2024 election against former President Trump, Biden trails 45% to 42%.

Kimball continued, “Notable demographic differences include region and education. Trump leads Biden among both suburban voters, 47% to 38%, and rural voters, 59% to 35%, while Biden holds 54% to 30% support among urban and city voters. Regarding education, Trump leads among those without a college degree, 51% to 33%, while Biden leads among those with a college degree or more 52% to 37%.”

Former Trump Aide Booted Off Flight

By Daily Caller. Paul Manafort, a former aide to President Donald Trump, was removed from a plane bound to Dubai for carrying a revoked passport, the Associated Press (AP) reported.

Miami-Dade Police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta told the AP Manafort was removed from the Emirates Airline flight Sunday night at Miami International Airport “without incident.”

A spokesperson for U.S. Customs and Border Protection declined to comment on the specifics of the incident, telling NBC News, “For privacy reasons, U.S. Customs and Border Protection is unable to discuss a specific individual’s arrival or departure into or from the United States.” (Read more from “Former Trump Aide Booted Off Flight” HERE)

Biden’s Approval Rating Drops Again As Midterms Loom

By Daily Caller. The latest poll shows President Joe Biden’s approval rating dropped Tuesday as the worsening economy weighs heavy on voters.

Biden’s approval ratings fell three points, with only 34% giving him a favorable rating, and 52% of Americans disapproving of his job as president, according to the latest Grinnell College National Poll. The poll surveyed 1,002 U.S. adults ages 18 and over from Mar. 15 to Mar. 20 with a margin of error of +/- 3.1%.

Politicians in Major US City Named for 2020 Presidential Election ‘Bribery’

A complaint has been filed with the Wisconsin Elections Commission bringing bribery allegations against the mayor, a former mayor and the city clerk of Milwaukee over their actions leading up to and during the 2020 president election.

Officials with the Thomas More Society, acting on behalf of a Milwaukee voter, levied the claims against Milwaukee Acting Mayor Cavalier Johnson, former Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and City Clerk Jim Owczarski.

The allegations are that the officials acted in violation of Wisconsin’s bribery law by “accepting private money from the Center for Tech and Civic Life in order to facilitate in-person and absentee voting and to purchase and place absentee ballot drop boxes.”

The complaint also charges that the city’s absentee ballot drop boxes actually were illegal under state law.

“This is representative of a national trend, explained Erick Kaardal, a Thomas More Society special counsel. “Sixteen states have now passed legislation to ban or regulate the acceptance and use of private funds by public election officers. Thomas More Society attorneys, prior to the 2020 election, were the first to litigate this issue. Thomas More Society lawyers filed litigation in nine states. Woke Home Depot Shaming Staff For Their White Privilege

Home Depot is telling staff to check their privilege at the door if they are white, male, Christian, and heterosexual.

In pictures from a Calgary Home Depot staff room circulating Twitter, the “Leading Practices: Unpacking Privilege” policy strives to shame staffers for their “white privilege” which Home Depot defines as “societal privileges that benefit white people beyond what is commonly experienced by people of colour under the same social, political, and economic circumstances.”

The Western Standard has reached out to both the Canadian and US corporate Home Depot offices to discuss the policy and its origins, but has not heard back.

The policy encourages staff members to talk with each other about their “white privilege” and explains “the word ‘white’ creates discomfort especially when individuals are not used to being defined or described by their race.”

Democrats Try to Shield Ketanji Brown Jackson From Child Porn Questions

Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson continued to dodge questions Wednesday from Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Josh Hawley (R-MO) about why she had given lighter sentences than those prosecutors had recommended in child pornography cases.

The questions about Judge Jackson’s sentencing record continued on the third day of her Supreme Court confirmation hearing. Democrats, who had tried to dismiss Hawley’s claims as factually incorrect, retreated to arguing that Judge Jackson had legitimate policy disagreements with the established federal sentencing guidelines, and blamed congressional inaction.

Republicans were not willing to let Judge Jackson off the hook. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) questioned Judge Jackson about why she seemed not to agree that prison was a deterrent against child pornography. Twitter Censors Tucker Carlson for Supporting Babylon Bee

Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, the most popular cable news host on television, is the latest victim of Twitter censorship as the platform cracks down on anyone who even jokes about the fact that Biden administration Health & Human Services Assistant Secretary Rachel Levine is a biological man.

The censorship of Tucker follows the censorship of the official account of conservative satirical website The Babylon Bee, the editor-in-chief of the same website, and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, both because of tweets referring to Levine by his biological gender.

Carlson had posted screenshots of tweets by the Babylon Bee and Kirk, stating that “both these tweets are true.” . . .

Democrats Push Biden To Extend Student Loan Freeze Through The End Of The Year

A group of Congressional Democrats is pushing for President Joe Biden to continue the payment freeze on federal student loans at least through the end of 2022.

In a letter to Biden on Monday, a group of 43 House Democrats, led by Pennsylvania Representative Conor Lamb, said that Biden needed to continue the “progress” made by Democrats in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic by extending the pause, or else the rapid transition to repayment would risk borrowers being delinquent of defaulting on their loans.

“Thank you for all your work to mitigate the impact of the coronavirus pandemic,” the Congress members wrote to Biden. “We must continue this important progress by providing relief to everyday Americans from the challenges of the pandemic. Although American families, communities, and our economy have made great strides in overcoming COVID-19, it is still impacting people’s lives,” they continued, citing a report from the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, which claimed that 20 million households did not have enough to eat and 10 million households were behind on rent. “Unemployment remains higher than two years ago, and families are experiencing significant price increases on household goods, food, and energy,” the Democrats wrote. “Accordingly, we believe that the Administration should extend its pause on student loan repayment and interest accrual.” (Read more from “Democrats Push Biden To Extend Student Loan Freeze Through The End Of The Year” HERE)

Conservative Workers Fearing Retaliation Ask Disney for Neutrality

Conservative employees at Disney are asking the company to stop wading into politics as it draws nationwide attention for its response to controversial education legislation recently passed in Florida.

A group of employees, wishing to remain anonymous for fear of retaliation, wrote an open letter to Disney leadership that claims the Walt Disney Company has become an “increasingly uncomfortable place to work for those of us whose political and religious views are not explicitly progressive.”

“We watch quietly as our beliefs come under attack from our own employer, and we frequently see those who share our opinions condemned as villains by our own leadership,” the letter reads, noting the company’s antagonistic response to the Florida legislation, named the “Parental Rights in Education” bill and has been branded the “Don’t Say Gay” bill by detractors.

A current Disney employee who was one of those behind the open letter told the Washington Examiner during a Wednesday interview that some Right-leaning Disney employees have been discussing their concerns with each other outside of work channels. The employee said they don’t want to see the company become “a political arm of the Democratic Party.”

Bishop Hangs Banner Of Nude Trans Activist Over Main Altar For Lent

The Catholic bishop of Innsbruck, Austria, inaugurated a “Lenten” decoration of the main altar of the historic University church of Saint John Nepomuk, a baroque jewel from the early 18th century. The “decoration” shows an enlarged partial inverted photograph of a naked young man with scars and tattoos lying on a bed and has been placed as an altarpiece above the tabernacle of the former main altar of the church. The piece of contemporary art by Carmen Brucic was specially chosen by Bishop Hermann Glettler, and bears the title: “Tired.” . . .

In itself, the more-than-life-size picture (4.5 by 3 meters) is completely incongruous over an altar because it has no religious meaning. But the picture of this nude young man lying on his back in an exhausted attitude, barely missing the display of his genitalia, is doubly scandalous. Besides its obvious indecency in such a setting, it portrays a prominent figure of the “queer” scene in Tbilisi, thus openly glorifying a “gay” activist from Georgia whose image will remain over the tabernacle holding the Real Presence of Our Lord in the Eucharist until the end of Lent.

The said young man, David Apakidze, 23, is half Georgian, half Ukrainian – a somewhat obvious way of presenting the photo installation as a reflection on the current Russian invasion of Ukraine. But he is better known as an activist of the Bassiani club where Georgian homosexuals, drag queens and other self-proclaimed promoters of sexual deviancy had found a “safe space” for techno music, rave parties, and “LGBTQ” performances. The club was founded in 2014 and hosted performances that can only be qualified as hellish. In May 2018, the club was raided by police and closed. Many later joined a public protest dubbed “rave-o-lution days” with crowds dancing non-stop in the streets to techno music. The club was reopened but closed again for many months due to COVID restrictions.

This State Has the Highest Gas Prices in the Nation

California is reporting some of the highest gas prices in the nation, nearing $6.00 a gallon on Tuesday, according to AAA’s data.

As of Tuesday, the national gas price average stood at $4.242, slightly lower than the record high, which the U.S. broke in a series of consecutive days earlier this month. On March 11, for example, the national gas average reached $4.331, rising 49 cents over one week, beating records made during former President Obama’s presidency.

As of Tuesday, a handful of states were reporting an average of over $5.00 per gallon of gas. That includes Hawaii ($5.092) and Nevada ($5.136). But the single state reporting the highest average gas prices in the country continues to be California, clocking in with a $5.866 average. . .

Several Golden State counties are reporting gas prices nearing or over $6.00 per gallon. Those include Humboldt ($5.949), Trinity ($5.987), Napa ($5.927), Marin ($5.921), San Francisco ($5.964), Ventura ($5.974), San Diego ($5.947), Orange ($5.968) San Luis Obispo ($6.031), Inyo ($6.054), and Los Angeles ($6.011).
