Biden’s COVID Incompetence, Hypocrisy and Fact-Spinning Are Only Making Things Worse

You can’t blame Joe Biden for the COVID pandemic any more than you can blame Donald Trump, yet when it comes to fighting the virus, the current prez seems to be doing more wrong things than right — and then spinning facts to deflect criticism.

Perhaps that explains some of the recent chaos across the nation, particularly among people trying to get tested for the virus.

On Monday, for example, Biden simply denied a report that his team rejected a plan in October to produce 732 million free, at-home COVID-19 test kits by Christmas. If true, that now seems like a mistake.

According to the Vanity Fair report, the White House told the experts who’d developed the plan that it wouldn’t adopt it. One expert, Dr. Steven Phillips, accused Team Biden of “playing small ball.”

The White House’s claim that it didn’t reject the plan was downright lame: “The characterization of ‘rejection’ is not an accurate reflection of a productive meeting, and, in fact, we are implementing many measures that were discussed as capacity now allows us to do,” a spokesperson said. Plus, for the past few weeks, Biden has been expressing regret for not acting more quickly to make tests more widely available. Police: Another CNN Producer Is Under Investigation by Child Exploitation Squad

Fairfax County police confirmed Tuesday that Rick Saleeby, senior producer for CNN’s The Lead with Jake Tapper, is under investigation by the department’s Child Exploitation Squad.

Saleeby’s investigation comes after Project Veritas revealed video and text messages on December 15 that allegedly show him fantasizing about sex acts with his former fiancé’s underaged daughter.

Project Veritas revealed Saleeby’s information two days after their initial report on December 17.

Fairfax County police confirmed Saleeby’s investigation on Tuesday after Project Veritas investigators confronted Saleeby following a court appearance. Saleeby appeared in court to respond to a protective order placed against him by his former fiancé. President Joe Biden reportedly said that he will make a decision regarding COVID-19 vaccination requirements for domestic travel when he receives “a recommendation from the medical team.”

The president made the comment in response to a question, according to Sabrina Siddiqui of the Wall Street Journal. . .

COVID-19 vaccination mandates imposed by the public and private sectors during the pandemic have proven to be very controversial, so if the president were to advance a vaccination requirement for domestic travelers, it would likely be very unpopular with a large portion of the public. UK, Germany Weighing Potential Fourth COVID Shot, Second Booster

By The Hill. Both Germany and the United Kingdom are weighing a decision on administering fourth COVID-19 vaccine doses to select groups in their populations as the omicron variant surges across Europe, according to multiple reports.

Pediatric professor Adam Finn at the University of Bristol in the U.K. who is a member of Britain’s Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation said last week, “I think there will be people probably who will receive a fourth jab. Whether that will be everyone, I think, is still very much in doubt … We do need to see how things go through this wave and beyond,” according to The Guardian.

Germany’s Health Minister Karl Lauterbach, who is also a physician and scientist, stated that he believes a fourth COVID-19 vaccine, a second booster, will be necessary, according to Politico Europe.

49-Year-Old New York Times Editor Dies ‘Less Than a Day’ After COVID Booster Shot

By WND. A New York Times deputy Asia editor, Carlos Tejada, posted on social media he had gotten a Moderna COVID-19 booster shot.

Less than a day later, he died, at age 49.

The National Pulse documents that Tejada “was grateful to receive the mRNHA/LNP booster while in Seoul, South Korea, after originally getting the Johnson & Johnson DNA-AAV COVID-19 shot in July.”

“Less than a day after receiving his Moderna booster on December 17th, Tejada died of a heart attack. The news was shared via Tejada’s social media by his wife Nora the following morning,” the report said.

Communist China’s TikTok Dethrones Google as World’s Most Popular Domain

Communist China’s TikTok surpassed the search engine giant Google as the world’s most popular domain in 2020 largely thanks to Generation Z.

According to the web security company Cloudlare’s “Year in Review” report, TikTok surpassed Google, Facebook, and Amazon as the most popular domain despite those platforms’ multiple features, from video sharing to news distribution.

“Google.com — which also includes Maps, Translate, and News among others — ended the previous year as the leader in Cloudflare’s rankings,” reported Search Engine Journal. “At that time, TikTok was ranking in the 7th position,” adding:

The number of global TikTok users number grew 59.8% in 2020, and went up by an additional 40.8% in 2021. Further, Insider Intelligence estimates TikTok will see a 15.1% growth in global users in 2022. Should that estimate hold true, TikTok will hold a 20% share of overall social media users by the end of next year.

The War Isn’t Over’: Stu Scheller Announces Discharge From the Marine Corps, His Plans

The Marine lieutenant colonel who demanded accountability from senior military leaders for the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan has announced that he has been officially discharged from the Marine Corps and is planning to go on a media blitz.

Former Marine Lieutenant Colonel Stuart Scheller wrote on his Facebook page on December 23: “Out of respect to my senior leaders, I haven’t done a single interview since this began. But now it’s my turn. My television media blitz starts with Tucker Carlson on 4 January.”

He said he would write a post a day up to the January 4 interview and evoked George Washington’s first major victory in the American Revolutionary War on December 26, 1776.

“The attack on December 26th wasn’t decisive, but as history shows, it was a turning point in the war,” he wrote before recounting his own battle with Marine Corps leadership. He wrote:

To recap my series of defeats after demanding accountability; I was relieved of command, slandered as homicidal/suicidal by the USMC’s public affairs team, ordered to get a mental health evaluation, lied about in the investigation by my “friends”, denied my legal right to prefer charges against another service member beholden to the UCMJ, imprisoned under the false pretense of ‘flight risk’, left without basic items in prison for five days, offered a legal deal while held illegally in jail (you can’t be placed in pre-trial for a special court martial), slandered again when my medical records and investigation were released to the media, fined 5K dollars, called a narcissist in my letter of reprimand, kept under a gag order for over four months, denied the ability to request mast twice, given the lowest characterization (General under Honorable Conditions) allowed by the plea deal, and lost my retirement.

“Merry Christmas, and let’s go, Brandon!”Jared Schmeck said, referring to the popular conservative phrase to signal dissatisfaction with the president after Biden spoke with his kids on the phone last Friday. . .

“I understand there is a vulgar meaning to ‘Let’s go Brandon,’ but I’m not that simple-minded, no matter how I feel about him,” Schmeck insisted to the newspaper. “He seems likes he’s a cordial guy. There’s no animosity or anything like that. It was merely just an innocent jest to also express my God-given right to express my frustrations in a joking manner … I love him just like I love any other brother or sister.”

Schmeck said he “stood 100% behind what I did and what I said,” adding he’s not a supporter of former President Donald Trump but is frustrated with Biden policies such as federal vaccine mandates, along with issues like inflation. . .

Jared Schmeck, who is a 35-year-old father of four and works for an electric company, described himself as a “free-thinking American and follower of Jesus Christ,” noting that he was not a “Trumper,” according to The Oregonian.

“I understand there is a vulgar meaning to ‘Lets go Brandon,’ but I’m not that simple-minded, no matter how I feel about him,” Schmeck said of his now-viral remark. “He seems likes he’s a cordial guy. There’s no animosity or anything like that. CDC Drastically Changes COVID Quarantine Rules

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention cut its recommendation on Monday for the length of time for isolations and quarantines of those people who test positive for the coronavirus.

Previously the CDC recommended an isolation period of 10 days for people who tested positive but were asymptomatic, but the new guidance says those people can isolate for only five days if they are vaccinated.

“Given what we currently know about COVID-19 and the Omicron variant, CDC is shortening the recommended time for isolation from 10 days for people with COVID-19 to five days, if asymptomatic, followed by five days of wearing a mask when around others,” read a statement from the CDC. Unfortunately for CNN and MSNBC, that fact can’t be directly traced to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis so they’ve chosen not to really talk about it, but if they did, they might ask what Democrats are doing so wrong in D.C. (averaging 1,313 new cases each day), New York (32,566), New Jersey (14,028), Rhode Island (1,382), Delaware (1,029), Illinois (12,426), and Hawaii (1,361).

The national media’s beloved New York, the place Saint Anthony Fauci once said was doing everything “correctly,” has seen a 55 percent increase in hospitalizations as of Monday. Man Says He Was Slugged in New York for Wearing Israeli Military Hoodie

Two Jewish men were attacked as “dirty Jews” in Brooklyn — before one of them was punched in the face for sporting an Israel Defense Forces sweatshirt, the pair told The Post Monday.

Blake Zavadsky and his friend Ilan Kaganovich, both 21, were at the Foot Locker in Bay Ridge shortly before 11 a.m. Sunday when they were allegedly accosted by two attackers.

“They asked us what we were doing in their neighborhood,” Zavadsky said. “They called us ‘dirty Jews.’”

He said they took particular issue with his hoodie that featured the emblem of the Israeli military forces.
