Bill Gates has warned governments to prepare for smallpox terror attacks and future pandemics by investing billions into research and development. . .

He said that countries like the US and the UK must spend “tens of billions” to fund the research adding that while it may be expensive, it could lead to the eradication of the flu and common cold.

“I’m hoping in five years, I can write a book called, ‘We are ready for the next pandemic’, but it’ll take tens of billions in R&D – the US and the UK will be part of that”, he said.

“It’ll take probably about a billion a year for a pandemic Task Force at the WHO level, which is doing the surveillance and actually doing what I call ‘germ games’ where you practise.”

The Microsoft founder suggested that the ‘germ games’ could prepare nations for bio-terrorism such as smallpox attacks on airports. Mr Gates warned that bioterrorism caused epidemics could be worse than naturally occurring ones. Inflation Surges To Highest Level In 30 Years

The Consumer Price Index increased 0.9% in October, bringing the key inflation indicator’s year-over-year increase to 6.2% as supply shortages continue and demand grows, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics announced Wednesday.

The year-over-year inflation figure is an increase from September’s 5.3% level, marking the highest level in 30 years, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) report. Economists surveyed by The Wall Street Journal projected the CPI would increase to just 5.9% in October. . .

Months After Migrant Surge, DHS Rewards Haiti With Eligibility for Guest Worker Visa Programs

The Department of Homeland Security said in a Federal Register notice on Wednesday that it is making Haiti eligible once again for two guest worker visa programs, despite being removed under the Trump administration over cases of fraud and the significant number of overstays.

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas “has determined, with the concurrence of the Secretary of State, that Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Cyprus, the Dominican Republic (currently only eligible for H-2A), Haiti, Mauritius, and Saint Lucia should be designated as eligible countries to participate in the H-2A and H-2B non-immigrant visa programs because the participation of these countries is in the U.S. interest consistent with the regulations governing these programs,” the notice states.

The Department claimed adding Haiti back to these two programs “serves U.S. interest and is consistent with the whole-of-government efforts to address the root causes of irregular migration and create lawful pathways for a safe, orderly, and legal migration.”

At 28 Percent Approval, Say Goodbye to Kamala Harris Being Plan B to an Aging Biden

She was supposed to be the one-term president’s successor. The vice president who would take the torch from a by-then-80-something Joe Biden and carry on the administration’s agenda while becoming the first woman and the first woman of color to capture the White House as the nation’s 47th president.

But as things stand now, one has to wonder how Kamala Harris even remains on the ticket in 2024, regardless of who the nominee might be. A USA Today-Suffolk University poll finds that just 28 percent of voters — less than 3 in 10 — approve of the job Harris is doing. For context, that’s 10 points below her boss (38 percent approve, 59 percent disapprove). For more context, Harris was at 46 percent approval and 40 percent disapproval upon entering office, per USA Today-Suffolk. . .

It’s been 153 days since her last sit-down interview with a major broadcast news entity, in the form of NBC’s Lester Holt. You may recall that was the beginning of the end of the administration’s confidence in her abilities to handle even the most basic of questions. . .

The vice president has yet to do a solo press conference. Out of sight, out of mind. And when judging Harris solely on the primary task she was given by the president, 23 percent approve of the administration’s handling of the U.S. border, or less than one-quarter. Key Rittenhouse Witness Claims He Was Asked to Change His Statement by Prosecution; Prosecution Rests in Trial After Witness Admits He Pointed Gun at Him

By Daily Caller. A key witness for the prosecution in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial testified Tuesday that he was asked to change his statement by the prosecution team.

Nathan DeBruin was taking photographs of the events the night that Rittenhouse killed two protestors and injured another, according to WISN.

Prosecutor Thomas Binger asked DeBruin to identify a person in a picture, according to DeBruin’s testimony.

When DeBruin didn’t know who the person was, Binger allegedly identified the person as Joshua Zaminsky. . .

Prosecution Rests in Rittenhouse Trial After Witness Admits He Pointed Gun at Him

By Washington Examiner. Prosecutors in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial rested their case Tuesday following a week of testimony that at times appeared to hurt them more than help.

Much of the explosive testimony came on Monday when Gaige Grosskreutz , the only person to survive being shot by Rittenhouse, lent support to the defense’s central claim that Rittenhouse acted in self-defense on Aug. 25, 2020. That night, Rittenhouse shot and wounded Grosskreutz in the arm minutes after fatally shooting Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and Anthony Huber, 26.

Grosskreutz, a trained EMT who traveled to Kenosha on his own behalf to render medical aid to protesters, testified Monday as the state’s star witness.

However, his testimony underscored the uphill battle prosecutors have faced trying to prove Rittenhouse was a trigger-happy tourist who purposely inserted himself into the chaos unfolding in Kenosha.

Hundreds of protesters showed up to the small Wisconsin manufacturing town after footage went viral of white police officer Rusten Sheskey shooting Jacob Blake Jr ., a black man, seven times in the back. Study: Nearly a Third of Millennials Identify as LGBT

Roughly 30% of millennials in the United States identify as LGBT, according to a recent study conducted by Arizona Christian University.

Among the 30% of millennials who identify as LGBT , 39% of those between the ages of 18 and 24 said they fall into that category, according to the results of the study , which surveyed 600 people between the ages of 18 and 37 and was overseen by George Barna, the school’s Cultural Research Center’s director of research. . .

The study also looked into the political views of millennials and found in 2021, roughly 48% prefer socialism over capitalism. Millennials also said the most important issue the U.S. is facing is management of the COVID-19 pandemic, with climate change, racial discrimination, and abortion being the next top issues, according to the study. Issues listed by less than 2% of millennials as being among the most important include religious freedom, income inequality, and support for senior citizens, the results showed.

Poll: Majority Believe Cancel Culture Unfairly Penalizes People

A resounding majority (69%) of registered voters indicated that they believe cancel culture unfairly punishes individuals for previous actions or statements, according to a Hill-HarrisX poll conducted earlier this month.

The survey utilized the Merriam-Webster definition to define cancel culture, The Hill noted.

According to merriam-webster.com, the term means “the practice or tendency of engaging in mass canceling … as a way of expressing disapproval and exerting social pressure.”

Strong majorities of Republicans, Democrats, and Independents shared the sentiment that cancel culture unfairly penalizes people for their past behavior and statements, according to the poll results: A whopping 79% of Republicans, 65% of Democrats, and 64% of independents held that view.

Significant majorities of both men (74%) and women (65%) also felt that way.

Judge Rules Against Trump in Lawsuit Trying to Block Jan. 6 Committee From Obtaining His White House Documents

A U.S. federal judge ruled against former President Donald Trump in a lawsuit attempting to block his White House documents from being obtained by the congressional committee investigating the Jan. 6 rioting at the Capitol.

Attorneys for Trump argued that his documents from his one term as president should be protected by executive privilege despite current President Joe Biden refusing to extend that protection.

U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan in the District of Columbia disagreed and ordered that the documents should be handed over from the National Archives to the committee requesting them.

The committee is seeking visitors logs, telephone records, and other White House documents.

Biden’s Monumental Game of Chicken

Throughout 2020, America’s doctors, nurses, paramedics and other medical professionals were celebrated as heroes – courageous frontline soldier-healers, selflessly battling a fearsome new pandemic called COVID-19.

Just one year later, in 2021, tens of thousands of those same “frontline heroes” are now branded as rebels, conspiracy theorists, extremists – and yes, potential terrorists, at least according to the Department of Homeland Security. Considered so dangerous as to merit termination, their professional and personal lives turned upside down due to their decision not to be injected with the experimental COVID vaccines, they are forbidden from working in their field of hard-won expertise and forced to take any job they can get – or go on unemployment. Many are compelled to sell their homes, relocate their families entirely and try to start over. This is happening in massive numbers, right now, all over America.

From hero to untouchable – what a difference a year makes. A year in which America has been ruled by a corrupt, dishonest and cognitively disintegrating puppet of a president totally subservient to secret handlers and even-more-secret anti-American agendas. . .

The same fate is being imposed on America’s police, its firemen, its border patrol agents and other key protectors and defenders of civilized society; its airline pilots, air-traffic controllers, plane mechanics and others essential to America’s transportation and distribution systems; plus all federal government employees, multitudes of teachers and college students, and all employees of private companies employing more than 100 people – all ordered by Joe Biden to “GET VACCINATED” or else. Then there are the forced vaccinations for the entire Armed Forces of the United States, populated largely by young people at an age and fitness level that render serious COVID-19 outcomes extremely rare. Indeed, as of Oct. 8, only 62 out of 1.4 million members of America’s military – approximately 0.004% – had died of COVID.

In reality, what the Biden administration has put into motion resembles a monumental game of “Chicken” between the “government-medical complex” and tens of millions of Americans who simply choose not to be vaccinated. It’s a harrowing, death-defying contest to see which will happen first: Either millions give in and allow their bodies to be injected with the controversial experimental medicines, or the entire nation loses as many as a quarter of its most essential workers who are forbidden from working, causing the nation to grind to a halt – crippling everything from law enforcement to airlines to commercial supply chains, even hospitals. The shutdowns are already happening – from an obstetric hospital wing in New York to a neonatal intensive care unit in Maine to nursing homes announcing their imminent closure. RNC and Donald Trump Announce ‘Pride Coalition,’ Partnership With Log Cabin Republicans

The Republican National Committee announced its first ever “RNC Pride Coalition” over the weekend, partnering with the Log Cabin Republicans to invest and mobilize LGBTQ communities ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.

The announcement came during the Log Cabin Republicans’ “Spirit of Lincoln Gala,” which took place Saturday night at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, and attracted a high-profile group of attendees, including former President Trump and former first lady Melania Trump, who was the event’s guest of honor, and other prominent Republicans, including former acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell.

RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, who was given the “Majority Maker” award, said the RNC is “committed” to working with the Log Cabin Republicans — the country’s largest Republican organization dedicated to representing LGBTQ conservatives and allies — calling the organization “a partner to fight for our country’s future.”

“Conservatives in Log Cabin don’t just share our vision for a free, secure and prosperous America — they enrich it by adding unique perspectives to our party and recruiting even more diverse candidates and supporters to join our cause,” McDaniel said.
