As citizens from across the globe visit American shores for the World Cup competition, hundreds of thousands praise the United States while lambasting their media for lying. In more ways than one, they are seeing the real America for the first time: Its sights and scenery, its stores and stadiums, and most of all, its people. It has been love at first sight.

Listening to the heart-warming testimonies of foreign tourists visiting the country is edifying and unifying in a time of slanted media coverage. Europeans in particular have been fed a false narrative about America’s crime-infested culture and crass capitalist economy. The fact that these good people are believing what they see, not what they’ve heard, suggests the miracle of America is obvious to just about anyone who takes an honest look — even Americans.

But are the eyes of our friendly visitors fully open, or are they failing to see the most important realities about our country? America’s history, people, and founding principles are the realities that make everything they now love about this country possible.

The collective enthusiasm on social media hits three main topics. The first is an overall awe-struck reaction to America’s material richness, bigness, and consumer choices.

Visitors can’t get enough of our stores and restaurants, our big homes and big trucks. Even our infrastructure impresses them. All this, of course, reflects America’s great wealth. State’s Rule Cracking Down On Christian Gender Counseling Runs Afoul Of Supreme Court Ruling, Group Says

Wisconsin Christian counselors challenged a state rule that requires them not to offer certain therapies to gender-confused children, which might violate a March Supreme Court ruling.

In May, Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty (WILL) filed suit against Democratic Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers’ administration on behalf of counselors Terri Koschnick and Joy Buchman. The conservative legal group argues that Wisconsin’s rule is just like a similar Colorado law the Supreme Court ruled against in March.

Just weeks earlier in Chiles v. Salazar, the Court sided 8-1 with Colorado Christian counselor Kaley Chiles, holding that the blue state’s law curtailing her work was “regulating speech based on viewpoint.” Chiles was forced by state law to affirm transgender-identifying children even if they had requested help to embrace their biological sex.

“The government shouldn’t be dictating which viewpoints are acceptable for counselors to express in private, voluntary talk therapy sessions with clients who specifically seek out their faith based advice,” WILL Deputy Counsel Rebecca Furdek told Daily Caller News Foundation.

“The Wisconsin administrative rule bans counselors from offering certain perspectives in private, voluntary talk therapy sessions with the clients who specifically seek out their faith-based advice. This amounts to viewpoint discrimination, which the U.S. Supreme Court has deemed the ‘most blatant’ type of First Amendment violation,” Furdek continued. Trump Rails Against ‘Mortal Threat’ of Communism During America 250 Mount Rushmore Speech

President Trump warned Friday that communism poses a “mortal threat” to the country during a speech at Mount Rushmore on the eve of America’s 250th birthday.

“As we approach this magnificent anniversary, we see our American identity under a renewed attack,” Trump said in his remarks in South Dakota.

“A generation after we fought and won the Cold War against the menace of communism, there is now a resurgence of the communist menace in our land, including from newcomers to our country who embrace ideas totally opposed to our way of life and our great success,” the president continued.

“These are not mere political disagreements, like differences over taxes or regulations. Communism is a mortal threat to American liberty. It is the greatest threat to our country,” Trump declared.

The president described the political and economic ideology as “the exact opposite of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

‘Ingrates’: Hegseth Fires Back at Leftists Shouting at National Guard

U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth dismissed criticism of the National Guard during remarks on Thursday, calling protesters “ingrates” and praising Guard members for helping reduce crime in Washington, DC.

During a “D.C. Safe and Beautiful Task Force” ceremony at Meridian Hill Park in Washington, DC, Hegseth defended the National Guard’s mission, saying it was about restoring law and order rather than politics.

“You do your job no matter what,” Hegseth said. “It’s the sound of ingrates, of ingratitude, of people who are so blinded by ideology they can’t see law and order and common sense in front of them.”

Hegseth argued there was “nothing political” about the Guard’s mission, saying law and order is something “all Americans deserve,” regardless of race, income, or where they live. He told the troops that although many of them were not from Washington, DC, the nation’s capital belongs to all Americans and should be safe as the country marks its 250th anniversary.

Tucker Carlson Brands Trump ‘Enslaved’ and Floats Idea that Could Tear Apart MAGA for Good

Conservative podcaster Tucker Carlson labeled President Donald Trump as ‘enslaved’ in an interview published Wednesday and said that America needed a third political party.

Carlson was asked by the Columbia Journalism Review if he had talked to Trump since the start of the Iran war, which Carlson staunchly opposes.

‘I’m not interested in talking to him. I feel sorry for him,’ Carlson said.

‘He’s not a man in charge of his own life at this point. I feel sorry for anybody who’s enslaved, including him.’

Carlson was apparently alluding to Trump’s decision to start a war with Iran, suggesting outsized Israeli influence on the President.

Carlson has consistently insisted that Israel was the driving force behind US attacks on Iran, saying as early as March 2 that ‘this is Israel’s war. FBI Assigns 260 Staff Members to Georgia 2020 Election Probe

The FBI has ramped up its investigation into the 2020 election in Georgia by dedicating more personnel to what an internal memo refers to as a “priority,” a person familiar with the matter told CNN, ramping up an inquiry into the election that President Donald Trump falsely said was rigged.

The memo, which was seen by CNN, calls for the FBI to quickly bring in an additional 260 FBI intelligence officials, on top of those agents already working in the Atlanta area.

Some of the intelligence personnel — which includes people who are skilled at analyzing data — will work on the investigation remotely, a law enforcement official familiar with the investigation told CNN. . .

Israel Reportedly Attempted To Shoot Down Iran’s Negotiators

By Daily Caller. Israel attempted to kill Iran’s negotiators on their plane after talks between the U.S. and Iran concluded in Pakistan, The New York Times reported.

The attempt occurred in the air as Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Ghalibaf were flying home to Tehran from talks in Pakistan, the outlet reported, citing anonymous U.S. officials. As the officials were en route flying home, Iran’s security forces notified the plane that two Israeli fighter jets had entered Iranian airspace with the intention of attacking it.

However, the plane was not shot down as it made an emergency landing in Mashhad, Iran’s closest airport to Pakistan, according to the Times. The diplomatic jet also had an escort from Pakistani fighter jets.

The Iranian diplomatic jet was carrying more than 70 other Iranian officials during the flight, the outlet reported.

The White House, the State Department and the Israeli Embassy in Washington did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Israel had Araghchi and Ghalibaf on a list of targets to kill, but temporarily removed them from the list as the U.S. was conducting negotiations, The Wall Street Journal reported on March 25. Although it appears that removal did not last long, as the reported assassination attempt happened just a few months later. US officials feared Israel was plotting to kill head Iranian negotiators: report

By New York Post. The US believed Israel was plotting to kill Iran’s head negotiators in the middle of the peace talks, with America going as far as to warn Tehran through third party countries of the risks, officials said.

Fears that Israel could derail the fledgling peace talks spiked in April as America believed the Jewish state had their eyes on Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, The New York Times reported.

The two leaders would go on to approve the current peace deal with the US. If they were killed, it would have likely prolonged the conflict as previous assassinations by Israel have.

Araghchi and Ghalibaf were known to have been on a so-called “kill list” back in March, which was composed of top regime officials who Israel sought to remove.

Grand Jury Indicts Former Olympian For Allegedly Tampering With Reflecting Pool

A Washington, D.C. Superior Court grand jury has indicted former Olympian David Hearn on a second-degree felony charge of “Destruction of property $1,000 or more.”

Hearn “ripped a piece of recently installed sealant,” Jeanine Pirro, U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, said in a press conference Thursday announcing the indictment. “[Hearn] willfully destroyed property at the Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool.”

Pirro stated that National Park Service (NPS) employees who were on scene claim to have observed Hearn reaching and pulling up the liner with both hands. Pirro alleges that Hearn caused damage to at least two square feet of the Reflecting Pool, citing the multi-million-dollar cost of the recent renovations to the pool to explain the charge being filed for damages of $1,000 or more.

Pirro also stated that NPS employees allege that Hearn was told not to reach into the pool, and allegedly shouted back, “It’s not your pool,” and “Why do you care so much?”

Hearn, a three-time Olympic canoeist, was first arrested on June 19 in front of the Lincoln Memorial and was charged with the “misdemeanor offense of destruction of government property,” Mediate reported.

Poll: Majority of Democrats Say They Would Vote for a ‘Democratic Socialist,’ View Socialism ‘Favorably’

Most Democrats would vote for a candidate describing themselves as a “Democratic Socialist,” a recent Economist/YouGov survey revealed.

The survey asked respondents, “Would you ever vote for a candidate who identified as a “Democratic Socialist?”

Across the board, a plurality of respondents, 45 percent, said they would not vote for such a candidate, followed by 29 percent who said they would and 26 percent who remain unsure.

Predictably, the vast majority of Republicans, 85 percent, said they would not vote for a “Democratic Socialist,” but most Democrats, 62 percent, said they would do so. Further, only 11 percent of Democrats said they would not, and over a quarter, 27 percent, said they are “not sure.”

DOJ Vows ‘Birth Tourism’ Crackdown after Supreme Court Rules Against Trump in Birthright Citizenship Case

The Justice Department on Tuesday pledged to crack down on so-called “birth tourism” after the Supreme Court struck down President Trump’s executive order outlawing birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants and US visitors.

Colin McDonald, the DOJ’s assistant attorney general for fraud enforcement, directed federal prosecutors to “zealously protect the sanctity of United States citizenship by investigating and prosecuting those who fraudulently exploit our immigration system” by traveling to the country under “false pretenses” to give birth.

“The criminal laws of the United States already prohibit conduct inherent to so many of these so-called ‘birth tourism’ schemes,” McDonald, the administration’s “fraud czar,” wrote in a memo to DOJ employees. “For example, many such schemes start with a false visa application – with lies about the purpose or duration of one’s travel to the United States.”

McDonald included three examples of birth tourism schemes the DOJ has prosecuted in recent years.

In 2024, Michael Wei Yueh Liu and Jing Dong – a husband-and-wife team – were each sentenced to 41 months in prison after being accused of running a birth tourism business that catered to Chinese nationals. Their company – “USA Happy Baby” — charged clients tens of thousands of dollars and assisted them in fraudulently obtaining US visas, according to McDonald.
