This Airline Is Terminating Unvaccinated Employees

Employees at American Airlines learned Friday they will need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to keep their jobs because of President Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate for federal contractors.

In a letter sent Friday, the company told employees that the vaccine mandate for federal contractors will apply to them because of agreements with the government and “all of American’s U.S.-based team members and certain international crew members [must] be vaccinated, without the provision of a regular testing alternative,” the Dallas News reports.

“While we are still working through the details of the federal requirements, it is clear that team members who choose to remain unvaccinated will not be able to work at American Airlines,” wrote American Airlines CEO Doug Parker and president Robert Isom.

The company was one of several airlines that participated in a call with the White House on Friday on COVID-19 vaccines. Reuters first reported that Biden’s COVID-19 team spoke with the chief executives of American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and Southwest Airlines on Thursday to convince them to coordinate a plan to enforce the vaccine mandate by Dec. 8 — the deadline by which federal contractors must mandate vaccination without an option for regular testing. Steve Bannon Predicts Sweeping Wins for ‘MAGA Policies’ in 2022 and 2024

Former White House adviser Steve Bannon predicted a “sweeping victory” for MAGA policies in the 2022 midterms that will lead to former President Donald Trump winning a second term in 2024.

“We’re going to have a sweeping victory in 2022, and that’s just the preamble to a sweeping victory in 2024, and this time we’re going to be ready — and have a MAGA perspective, MAGA policies, not the standard Republican policies,” he told political appointees at a Washington, DC, social club last week, according to NBC News.

When that happens, Bannon said he wants to see an army of “shock troops” enter federal agencies and help Republicans completely retool the government by instituting their policies.

“If you’re going to take over the administrative state and deconstruct it, then you have to have shock troops prepared to take it over immediately,” Bannon later said to NBC News in an interview released on Saturday. Soros Group Pours $500K Into Campaign To Oppose Reinstating Austin Police Units That Were Defunded

The advocacy group founded by liberal billionaire financier George Soros has dumped $500,000 into a campaign to defeat a proposal in Austin, Texas, that would bulk up the city’s police department.

Proposition A, an Austin ballot proposal for the Nov. 2 election backed by the group Save Austin Now, would require at least two Austin police officers for every 1,000 residents and would provide officers with an additional 40 hours of police training each year on topics such as weapons proficiency and active shooter scenarios.

According to financial records reviewed by Fox News, Soros’ Open Society Policy Center last week donated $500,000 to Equity Austin, a group that is working to defeat Proposition A.

“It sickens me that out of town billionaires are able to swoop into Austin to fight against citizen-led ballot initiatives,” Austin City Council member Mackenzie Kelly said in a statement to Fox News. “The purpose of our city’s charter is to allow regular, everyday people to fight for what they believe in when the city council fails them.”

The co-founders of Save Austin Now used the Soros opposition as a fundraising point with supporters.

FBI: Some of Biggest Hate-Crime Increase Were in Dem Strongholds

The FBI’s latest annual report on hate crimes seemed to deliver more grim news about race relations in America, announcing a nearly 40% rise in anti-black hate crimes in 2020. Major news outlets trumpeted the headline-grabbing statistic, noting that it coincided with a rise in “white nationalism” and came amid a surge in anti-black “hostility” caused by summer 2020 protests. Attorney General Merrick Garland quickly promised “a comprehensive response” by the Department of Justice.

But a closer look at the data reveals a more complicated picture. Some of the biggest increases in anti-black hate crimes occurred in Democratic Party strongholds yet, perhaps surprisingly, almost no increases were reported in major cities riven by the racially tinged protests and riots after George Floyd’s murder. It’s no surprise, then, that experts caution against using these numbers to claim an epidemic of anti-black crime – both because of the FBI data’s limitations, as well as the small absolute and relative size of the reported increase.

The recent FBI dataset tallies reported hate crimes, not the number proven in court. It’s unknown whether the “true” number of hate crimes committed in 2020 is higher or lower than the FBI’s reported total. On one hand, not all crimes are reported to police, which could lead to undercounting. On the other, it’s likely that some portion of reported hate crimes would not withstand legal scrutiny, meaning the FBI’s figures might be inflated. The high evidentiary threshold required to prove a hate crime in court is illustrated by the fact that Derek Chauvin – the white cop cast as a racist convicted of murdering George Floyd last year – was not charged with a hate crime.

Whether the FBI’s data over or understates the true number of hate crimes, the total number of reported anti-black hate crimes is relatively small. In 2020, the FBI recorded a total of 7,759 hate incidents — which the FBI defines as “one or more offenses committed by the same offender, or group of offenders acting in concert, at the same time and place” — in a country of 330 million people. Assailants with anti-black biases allegedly initiated 2,755 such incidents, targeting some 3,769 victims. This was the highest number of anti-black incidents recorded by the FBI since 2008, but at that time there were 13,690 law enforcement agencies submitting hate crime data, versus the 15,136 agencies reporting such data last year, reflecting the imprecise nature of hate crime statistics. Ashli Babbitt Coverup Sparks Federal Action

The Department of Justice has been hit with a lawsuit for failing to provide public access to its records about the “killing” of Ashli Babbitt.

She was the California woman, unarmed, a 14-year Air Force veteran, who was shot and killed by Capitol police last January when dozens of protesters got rowdy, broke windows and doors, and vandalized parts of the building. . .

Babbitt was shot and killed as she climbed through a broken interior window. . .

Now government watchdog Judicial Watch has confirmed it filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Justice for its records relating to her death.

Earlier, the Executive Office for United States Attorneys, the Civil Rights Division, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation all failed to provide the records responsive to Judicial Watch’s April 14, 2021 and May 20, 2021, FOIA requests. Trump Wants Revocation of Pulitzer Prize, Cites Collusion Misreporting

Former President Donald Trump called on the Pulitzer Prize Board to rescind the 2018 National Reporting awards granted to the New York Times and the Washington Post for their coverage of the Russian collusion story, claiming the stories were based on “false reporting” and a “complete lack of evidence.”

“As has been widely publicized, the coverage was no more than a politically motivated farce which attempted to spin a false narrative that my campaign supposedly colluded with Russia despite a complete lack of evidence underpinning this allegation,” Trump wrote in a letter addressed to Bud Kliment, the interim administrator of the awards.

Trump pointed to the indictment of Michael Sussmann, a lawyer who had worked for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, in special counsel John Durham ‘s investigation as evidence for his complaint. Durham alleged Sussmann lied to the FBI about who he was representing when he tipped the agency in September 2016 to a possible link between the Trump campaign and Alfa Bank , which has ties to the Kremlin.

The Sussmann indictment “serves as a damning repudiation of the media’s obsession with the collusion story. The indictment pointedly accuses Mr. Sussman of making false statements to the FBI when he presented ‘evidence’ purporting to show secret communications between my organization and the Russia-based Alfa Bank,” Trump added in the letter. Sources: DHS Chief Tells Officials to Brace for 400K Illegal Aliens This Month; Biden Preparing for the Largest Surge of Illegals in DECADES

By WND. Amid public reassurances that the southwest border is under control, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas earlier this week asked senior officials if they were prepared to handle as many as 400,000 migrants crossing in October, nearly double the 21-year high in July.

Two unnamed DHS officials who told NBC News of the phone call said the department is worried about a massive spike in migrants as the court-ordered repeal of the Title 42 expulsion policy takes effect Friday.

Title 42 is the order by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention under the Trump administration authorizing border officers to immediately reject asylum seekers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Thursday, Axios reported Panama’s foreign minister has warned that as many as 60,000 more migrants, mostly Haitian, are heading to the United States through her country. She said the Biden administration seemed caught off guard after “we sounded the alarm.”

The administration has not fully complied with the Title 42 order, allowing exceptions for unaccompanied minors and some families with young children. But some far-left Democrats and immigrant advocacy groups, who have sued the White House, want to do away with Title 42 altogether. NBC News: Biden Admin Preparing for the Biggest Surge of Migrants at the Border in Decades Over Judge’s Ruling

By The Blaze. The Biden administration is preparing for a record number of new migrants at the southern border, up to 400,000 people, according to a report from NBC News.

Officials believe that the surge could come as a result of a judge’s order to rescind immigration policies related to Title 42 implemented by the Trump administration to keep migrants applying for refugee status out of the country.

U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan ruled that Biden could not use the same policy to block asylum-seekers, and that order would be in force on Thursday.

The Biden administration is appealing the ruling and may ask the Supreme Court to weigh in on the dispute. (Read more from “NBC News: Biden Admin Preparing for the Biggest Surge of Migrants at the Border in Decades Over Judge’s Ruling” HERE)

Panama Warns 60K Haitians Are Heading to U.S. Border

By Washington Examiner. Panama’s foreign minister sounded the alarm to warn the United States once again of a wave of Haitians coming toward the U.S.-Mexico border.

Erika Mouynes warned in an interview with Axios Wednesday that there were roughly 60,000 migrants, most of whom are Haitians, making their way toward the U.S. southern border, a surge roughly four times as large as the number of migrants reported in Del Rio, Texas.

Mouynes expressed frustration with the U.S. government’s response to the Haitian migrant crisis at the border, explaining, “We sounded the alarm when we should have.”

“We’ve engaged with every single authority that we can think of, that we can come across, to say, ‘Please, let’s pay attention to this,'” she added. (Read more from “Panama Warns 60K Haitians Are Heading to U.S. Border” HERE)

These Eight States Have Already Made Universal Mail-In Ballots Permanent

Eight states have permanently adopted universal mail-in ballots for coming elections.

California on Monday became the latest — and the largest — state to adopt the mail-in ballot system. Now, every single eligible voter in California will be mailed ballots for elections without asking for one. . .

NCSL highlighted the following earlier this year:

Five states—Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, Utah and Washington—allow all elections to be conducted by mail.

Three states—California, Nebraska and North Dakota—permit counties to opt into conducting elections by mail.

Ten states allow specific small elections to be conducted by mail. [Alaska, Arizona, California, Florida, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, and Wyoming]

Country Singer Not Backing Over Anti-Biden Wear: I’ll ‘Never Apologize for My Beliefs’

Pro-Trump and openly pro-American country music star Jason Aldean will not be bullied or cowed into recanting his beliefs.

Following left-wing backlash over his family’s open criticism of President Joe Biden and support for former President Donald Trump, Aldean took to Instagram to emphasize his unapologetic stand.

“I will never apologize for my beliefs or my love for my family and country,” the country music superstar captioned a photo of himself on stage surrounded by the American flag. “This is the greatest country in the world and I want to keep it that way.”

For good measure, Aldean added the hashtag “#unapologetic.”

Poll: Majority of Trump Voters Favor Seceding

A new poll from the University of Virginia Center for Politics shows that a majority of “Trump voters” support the idea of seceding from the nation now run by a gaffe-prone and aging Democrat, Joe Biden, and the long list of catastrophes and crises he’s allowed under his leftist activism.

Those range from the loss of $80 billion in American war machinery, and American personnel, in his withdrawal from Afghanistan, surging inflation, attempts to have the federal government take over elections, the border crisis, his abandonment of religious rights, budget excesses and more.

The poll found that 52% of “Trump voters” agreed with the statement: “The situation in America is such that I would favor (states) seceding from the union to form their own separate country.”

Twenty five percent agreed “strongly.” (Read more from “Poll: Majority of Trump Voters Favor Seceding” HERE)
