U.S. Hospital To End Baby Deliveries After Mass Resignation Over Vaccine Mandate

A New York hospital announced that it will be “unable to safely staff” its maternity department and will halt its baby deliveries later this month after 30 staff members quit due to the facility’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

“The number of resignations received leaves us no choice but to pause delivering babies at Lewis County General Hospital,” Lewis County Health System CEO Gerald Cayer said at a press conference Friday.

The hospital will stop delivering babies on Sept. 25.

The staffers resigned after the hospital revised its emergency regulation two weeks ago, now requiring that employees get vaccinated against COVID-19 without allowing for religious exemptions. Medical exemptions are still permitted under the new policy.

Top Supermarket Chain Warns High Inflation Will Continue To Drive Up Prices

One of the nation’s biggest supermarket chains warned last week that prices at grocery stores are going to continue rising for the near future because of high inflation.

Kroger Company, the largest supermarket chain by revenue in the United States, says inflation is “running hotter” than executives originally believed, according to Fox Business, which translates to higher prices for consumers.

Kroger CFO Gary Millerchip, in fact, said Kroger will be “passing along higher cost to the customer where it makes sense to do so.” Prices are expected to rise another 2-3% through the end of the year. . .

Biden Plans To Attack Filibuster in Last-Ditch Effort To Pass Massive Voting Bill

The Senate is set to reconvene this week — one of their top priorities being the so called “For the People Act,” which Democrats claim fights “racism” and “suppression,” but would instead effectively nationalize elections and enable voter fraud.

Republicans previously blocked the bill by using the filibuster and preventing “tyranny of the majority.” Top Democrats are now calling on President Biden to lobby for “filibuster reform” in order to ram through the legislation this time around without the need for Republican votes, Rolling Stone reported Sunday.

“According to three people briefed on the White House’s position and its recent communications with outside groups, Biden assured Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi that he was ready to push for filibuster reform,” the report states.

A source briefed on the White House’s position said Biden told Schumer, “Chuck, you tell me when you need me to start making phone calls.”

During a late-July meeting, Biden reportedly made a pledge to Schumer and Pelosi saying he would “get involved himself and lobby the handful of moderate Democrats to convince them to weaken the filibuster so that the For the People Act could pass without any Republican votes” if they “tried every option they had” first to pass the bill. GOP Governor Torches ‘Pretty Ignorant’ Biden for Vax Mandate

Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts, a vocal opponent of President Biden’s planned vaccine mandate on businesses with more than 100 employees, said the president is out of touch with how different parts of the country are handling the coronavirus pandemic.

Ricketts criticized Biden for a lack of communication with states, noting that since taking office he has not participated in any of the weekly phone calls the White House has with the nation’s governors.

“The president should look at the data, and maybe the president should attend one of the weekly calls his administration has with all the governors – he’s not been on one yet, since he’s been President — and maybe talk to some of the governors and ask them about what’s going on in their states because he appears to be pretty ignorant of what’s going on in places like Nebraska,” Ricketts told “Fox News Sunday.”

The governor said that his state has the third lowest mortality rate in the nation when it comes to COVID-19, that they have their hospital capacity under control, and that when it comes to Nebraskans between the ages of10 and 19, in 2020 they were “26 times more likely to die in a car accident than you were of COVID-19.”

Biden’s mandate requires all federal workers and contractors to get vaccinated, with no option to undergo testing instead. The president is also directing the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to require private companies with more than 100 employees to make workers either be vaccinated or get weekly testing if they object to the vaccines for religious or health-based reasons. The GOP Civil War Liz Cheney Waged Is Here, and It Just Might Throw Her Out of Congress

Wyoming Republican congresswoman and NeverTrump Resistance leader Liz Cheney drew a new primary challenger Thursday who came with a big endorsement. Harriet Hageman, a prominent GOP attorney and former Cheney ally, formally threw her hat into the ring with the coveted support from former President Donald Trump.

“Wyoming is entitled to a representative in Congress who remembers who sent her there and remembers what their wishes are,” Hageman told a small gathering of supporters crammed in a hotel conference room. “Liz Cheney is doing neither, I will do both.”

At the heart of Hageman’s 15-minute remarks was painting a clear contrast between herself as a native of Wyoming with a rancher’s upbringing and Cheney as a beltway creature of the swamp apparently more focused on a potential gig at CNN through a vendetta with Trump than service to constituents. Contempt for the very Republican voters Cheney serves is a product of this misdirected attention.

“Liz Cheney has burned all of her bridges with Republicans,” Hageman said, noting the practicality of GOP allies in order to pass effective legislation. But instead, a lonely congresswoman kicked from House leadership has spent the past year on “nothing less than a vengeance tour.”

Cheney appeared unfazed by the new, and likely most competitive contender in the race.

FBI Releases Newly Declassified Document on 9/11 Saudi Link (VIDEO)

The FBI declassified and released a 16-page document Saturday revealing the logistical support given to two Saudi hijackers before 9/11.

The document outlines an interview that the FBI conducted with a Saudi man who was in frequent contact with other Saudis in the U.S. and who gave the hijackers “significant logistical support.” Fifteen of the 19 9/11 hijackers were Saudis, according to Fox News.

In 2018, families of 9/11 victims asked former President Donald Trump to declassify files related to 9/11.

“Documents are important for us because they reveal the extent of Saudi Arabia’s involvement with the terrorists and the attacks, and those documents also reveal the way in which both U.S. presidents and top officials quashed the investigation and covered up the Saudi role,” said Jim Kreindler, a lawyer for the families of 9/11 victims said.

The 9/11 tragedy and two decades of responses to it will never rest easy in the minds of those who lost loved ones, or still suffer scars from the trauma of the deadliest attack on our own soil. This year’s anniversary has most outraged about the reemergence of the Taliban, the irresponsible way this administration exited Afghanistan, but mostly the idea that some Americans and allies are expendable.

We broke our promise, we violated our honor, and we have invited harsher terrorist attacks in the future, with our own hardware. President Biden’s foolish decisions dishonor the memory and heroism of the thousands of people who died in the towers, in the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania, and the many more brave Americans in the military who died in the 20-year War on Terror.

To be fair, the Bush administration also made hasty mistakes amid a desire to spike the ball and declare “Mission Accomplished.” But lessons are supposed to be learned so mistakes are not repeated. For Team Biden, it should never have been about when we would leave Afghanistan, but how.

Unfortunately, Biden has allowed his administration to be overrun with overconfident, ideological warriors, who may read intelligence reports but do not believe or learn from them. Replete with the best degrees, and long pedigrees earned by slavish commitment to all the politically correct causes, there is a ruling class in this administration that always knows best, blames America, and cynically relies on national media to cover up for all the errors and omissions of socialism, globalism, and elitism.

It is all so depressing and alarming and predictable. Our president is barely able to read cue cards, and the vice president has no-clue cards.

This national shame and confusion run contrary to the way Americans responded to 9/11. We came together with a near-universal belief that those who attacked America needed to be brought to justice. Biden Marks 20th Anniversary of 9/11 Criticizing ‘Dark Forces’ in America Against ‘Peaceful Religion’ of Islam

By Breitbart. President Joe Biden marked the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks by criticizing Americans for the anti-Muslim anger that occurred in the United States after the attacks took place.

“We also witnessed the dark forces of human nature. Fear and anger. Resentment and violence against Muslim-Americans — true and faithful followers of a peaceful religion,” Biden said in a prerecorded video published for the occasion.

The president said that the principle of “unity” in the country was endangered by the attacks but ultimately prevailed. . .

Actress Accuses Governor Gavin Newsom’s Wife of Trying to Bribe Her To Stay Silent on Weinstein Assaults

Rose McGowan, one of the first actresses to accuse convicted rapist and former film producer Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault, said on Thursday that Jennifer Siebel Newsom, wife of California Governor Gavin Newsom, tried to bribe her to drop her allegations.

In an interview with BlazeTV host Dave Rubin, the “Charmed” star claimed that Newsom called her about six months before The New York Times first broke the news about Weinstein’s predatory history, asking in not-so-subtle terms how much money McGowan would be willing to accept to refuse to go on the record with her story.

“[Newsom] called me and she set up a meeting with me to meet her somewhere in Brentwood [California],” McGowan said. She recalled that when she arrived, she became “very creeped out” and left. Newsom then called her again on behalf of David Boies, one-time attorney for Bill and Hillary Clinton who represented Weinstein in his criminal trial.

“So this woman I don’t know, some blonde lady with the last name Newsom, cold calls me and [says], ‘David Boies wants to know what it would take to make you happy,” McGowan said. Gold Star Mom Completely Disgusted by Biden’s Taliban Suck-up

Gold Star mother Jill Stephenson, whose son died fighting in Afghanistan over a decade ago, is appalled at how meek and subservient the Biden administration has acted toward the Taliban.

Speaking with the New York Post on Thursday, she specifically expressed exasperation over a White House statement released earlier that day in praise — yes, praise — of the notorious terrorist troupe. . .

Stephenson found the statement infuriating.

“Wow, the first word that comes to mind … was blasphemous, horribly blasphemous. To call the Taliban that — it’s absolutely disgusting. And it’s coming from the White House,” she told the Post.

University of Kansas Student Body President Refuses To Resign After Horrific Anti-American Tweet

Niya McAdoo said she hasn’t been surprised by the backlash, some of it in viciously racist emails and social media, to her retweeting the phrase “happy friday everybody. Death to america” on Sept. 3.

“I think that the phrase, ‘Death to America,’ is a triggering phrase for people. Most people have seen that phrase being said by countries outside of the U.S.,” said McAdoo, a 23-year-old senior and KU’s new student body president. “In no way was that the intention… disrespect or call to violence to any specific group, veterans or military folks.

“But ultimately I stand by what I said. Because, to me, the America that I live in is not an America that supports me.” . . .

The Student Senate is scheduled to take up a censure resolution next week. KU Chancellor Douglas Girod said that while McAdoo’s sentiments were constitutionally protected speech, he strongly disagreed.

“The opinions in the student’s post are protected by the First Amendment. In addition, KU is committed to its role as a marketplace of ideas – including ideas that some individuals find offensive,” Girod said.
