State Determines Sex-Change Surgery for Children Abuse

The state of Texas this week declared that performing transgender sex reassignment surgeries on minors constitutes child abuse.

Republican Gov. Greg Abbott made the announcement on Thursday after receiving a conclusive response on the matter from Texas Department of Family and Protective Services Commissioner Jaime Masters.

Abbott had reportedly directed the DFPS last week to issue a determination on whether “genital mutilation of a child for purposes of gender transitioning through reassignment surgery constitutes child abuse.” In a response letter, Masters determined that it is.

“Genital mutilation of a child through reassignment surgery is child abuse,” Masters wrote in her letter to the governor. “This surgical procedure physically alters a child’s genitalia for non-medical purposes potentially inflicting irreversible harm to children’s bodies.” (Read more from “State Determines Sex-Change Surgery for Children Abuse” HERE)

Democrats: Passage of Infrastructure Bill is Step Toward Massive Amnesty

By Breitbart. Senate and House Democrats are relishing in the passage, with the help of 19 Senate Republicans, of a so-called bipartisan infrastructure bill which they see as a building block toward a massive amnesty plan for millions of illegal aliens.

On Tuesday, in a 69-30 vote, 19 Senate Republicans joined all 50 Senate Democrats to pass the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which does not include a provision to ensure American infrastructure jobs go to American citizens rather than illegal aliens.

Those 19 Senate Republicans include:

The video shows Biden following agents up the lawn toward the White House, and an agent is seen pointing a finger, directing the president to turn right onto a sidewalk.

But he’s ignored, and the agent then has to scramble out of the president’s path as Biden marches off-route and onto the grass.

Poll: Americans Support Vaccine Mandates and Passports

A new poll conducted by Fox News shows that Americans are generally receptive to the idea of vaccine passports and mandates.

Fifty percent of respondents to the poll said that they favor cities and towns requiring all customers and workers to have proof of a coronavirus vaccine for “indoor activities such as restaurants, gyms and performances,” compared to 46% who opposed. Forty-four percent said they were more likely to shop at a store that required customers and workers to be vaccinated, or have a recent negative COVID-19 test, compared to just 24% who were less likely.

Fifty percent of those polled said “protecting the safety of Americans” by requiring the vaccine to participate in everyday activities was more important than “protecting the freedom” of Americans to choose whether or not they are vaccinated. Forty-seven percent of respondents said the latter is more important.

CNN Confronting Another Major Cuomo Problem That Could Have Lasting Impact

CNN has long been the only major cable news network without a female primetime host and now the troubled network is having a hard time getting women to tune in.

CNN’s “Cuomo Prime Time” with embattled namesake Chris Cuomo shed significant female viewers following the bombshell report by New York Attorney General Letitia James that declared he advised his brother on how to fend off sexual harassment allegations.

The report concluded that soon-to-be-former Gov. Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women and the CNN anchor was part of a group of trusted loyalists who helped strategize efforts to salvage his political career. Chris Cuomo’s role in the scandal presumably irked some potential female viewers many turned off the program.

“Cuomo Prime Time” averaged 488,000 female viewers on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday last week – the three episodes hosted by Chris Cuomo following the Tuesday attorney general report, as he took Friday off.

The turnout was a 41% decline from the year-to-date female viewership of “Cuomo Prime Time,” while the program also lost 45% percent of female viewers compared to the same week in 2020. “Cuomo Prime Time” also lost 14% of the female viewers who tuned in during the second quarter of 2021. Trump Sends Out Cryptic Three-Word Message in PAC Email

Former President Donald Trump sent recipients of his email list a cryptic three-word message Wednesday without context, raising questions about its meaning.

“BULLIES NEVER FIGHT!” Trump wrote in his statement, sent via email without explanation.

The message comes following New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s announcement he will resign after a series of sexual harassment allegations were deemed credible in an investigation by New York Attorney General Letitia James. Trump, who is often eager to offer his opinions about similar political developments, has yet to comment on the governor’s resignation and has given no indication that the statement is in reference to Cuomo.

Psaki ‘Not Aware of Plans’ for Joe Biden to Attend Hunter’s Pricey Art Show

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said Wednesday that she’s “not aware” of any plans for President Biden and first lady Jill Biden to attend an upcoming New York gallery event with potential buyers of his son Hunter Biden’s artworks.

The first son is asking as much as $500,000 for his novice pieces, which ethics experts say are inflated prices based on his dad’s official position.

“I’m not aware of plans for them to attend,” Psaki said at her daily press briefing.

The question came from New York Times reporter Zolan Kanno-Youngs, who noted that the gallerist “tasked with ensuring the buyers of Hunter Biden’s artwork remain anonymous — he said that Hunter will be attending his opening next month and said that friends and family will be attending as well.”

Report: Nancy Pelosi Considers Sacrificing Vulnerable Democrats by Pulling Them Off Campaign Trail Early to Advance Swamp Agenda

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is sacrificing vulnerable House members who need the August recess to campaign in their district by pulling them back to Washington roughly a month early to advance their swampy partisan agenda items.

Pelosi’s hopes of keeping the wafer-thin House majority are losing major traction. The most vulnerable members usually use the majority of their time during recess to campaign, fundraise, and meet with constituents.

However, it looks like their time will be cut short to pass their budget resolution for the so-called infrastructure bill. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) issued a “Dear Colleague” telling members the recess has been cut short and will need to return to Washington in two weeks and will stay until their “business” is finished.

Hoyer wrote:

For your scheduling purposes, assuming that the Senate does, in fact, complete work on a budget resolution, the House will return to session on the evening of August 23 to consider that budget resolution and will remain in session until our business for the week is concluded.

CDC Sounds Alarm: 2 Dead in US From Disease Never Seen Outside Tropics (VIDEO)

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is sounding the alarm on a rare illness that was previously only seen in tropical climates, particularly South Asia and northern Australia.

Now, two people are dead and two have recovered after being infected with melioidosis — a disease that had never before been detected on contiguous US soil. Melioidosis has now been seen in Georgia, Kansas, Texas and Minnesota, LiveScience reported. The only other known cases of melioidosis in the US were in the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico in the Caribbean.

None of the four patients claimed to have traveled outside the country prior to becoming sick between March and July of this year.

The CDC “believes the most likely cause is an imported product (such as a food or drink, personal care or cleaning products or medicine) or an ingredient in one of those types of products,” according to the statement released Monday.

City Passes Vaccine Requirement for Indoor Public Spaces

The Los Angeles City Council unanimously voted on Wednesday to require proof of getting the Chinese coronavirus vaccine in order to be allowed indoors at restaurants, gyms, and other spaces, according to a report.

The vote was to direct the city attorney to draft an ordinance requiring patrons who wish to enter any indoor public spaces to have at least one dose of the vaccination, according to KTLA. As of now, it is unclear how the ordinance will look, but the attorney will have to prepare a draft for the city council to approve then.

The motion for the ordinance was introduced last week by Council President Nury Martinez and Councilman Mitch O’Farrell. It will apply to restaurants, bars, retail establishments, fitness centers, spas, and entertainment centers like stadiums, concert venues, and movie theaters, according to the report.

Martinez, in a statement, said:

It’s our responsibility to protect the public, that includes protecting them from the unvaccinated. … The decision to not get vaccinated doesn’t just affect you. We have kids under the age of 12 who are not eligible for the vaccine yet, and someone’s decision to not get vaccinated affects them as well.
