Trump Slams ‘Terrible’ Infrastructure Deal

Former President Donald Trump again panned the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure package as a “terrible deal” Wednesday, shortly before the Senate voted to begin debate on the measure.

“Hard to believe our Senate Republicans are dealing with the Radical Left Democrats in making a so-called bipartisan bill on ‘infrastructure,’ with our negotiators headed up by SUPER RINO Mitt Romney,” raged the 45th president in an emailed statement. “This will be a victory for the Biden Administration and Democrats, and will be heavily used in the 2022 election. It is a loser for the USA, a terrible deal, and makes the Republicans look weak, foolish, and dumb. It shouldn’t be done.”

Approximately 90 minutes after Trump sent out his statement, the Senate voted 67-32 to end the filibuster on a motion to proceed to the measure. Seventeen Republicans joined all 50 Democrats in voting to begin debate.

Poll: President Biden’s Approval Rating Sinks To New Low

President Joe Biden’s approval rating has sunk to its lowest point since he gained office, according to a Rasmussen Reports poll released Wednesday.

The July poll, conducted among 1,500 likely voters, found that 46% of Americans approve of Biden’s job as president, while 52% disapprove. The poll further found that 26% said they “strongly approve” of Biden’s presidency so far, while 42% “strongly disapprove.”

The new poll comes barely a month after Biden’s approval rating first slipped below 50% in June, according to a Monmouth University poll.

Biden’s drop in approval appears to be due to a loss of confidence in his economy and an ongoing skepticism of his policies at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Surprise! Capitol Officer Complaining of Jan. 6 Riot Revealed as BLM Activist

Testimony from several Capitol police officers who appeared before House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s one-sided committee reviewing violence at the building on Jan. 6 actually prompted several lawmakers to tear up. . .

Some of the comments were from Capitol officer Harry Dunn, who talked about his recollection of being called a racial epithet when he engaged in conversations “with rioters,” telling them he had voted for Joe Biden.

Dunn revealed he got no warning of any threats from his chain of command that day, even though President Trump had offered additional security, an offer declined by congressional leaders. . .

But after his appearance, a reported in the Gateway Pundit explains the likely reason Dunn was asked to testify in the hearing that has been described by analysts as a Democrat attempt to perpetuate the controversy over Jan. 6 since they have so few accomplishments on which to base any 2022 campaigns.

The report states, “SURPRISE! Officer Dunn Who Testified that Trump Supporters on Jan. 6 Were Chanting the ‘N-Word’ Is HUGE BLM Activist — Supported Mass Violence in Kenosha Riots.”

Seven months later, Democrats have wasted no opportunity to exploit the January crisis at the U.S. Capitol, gaslighting the public at every turn to brand the riot as the “worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War,” in President Joe Biden’s words. Among the latest to perpetuate the Democrat talking point was Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney, who will offer opening remarks as one of two Republicans on the January 6 committee scheduled to commence this morning.

“Congress is obligated to conduct a full investigation of the most serious attack on our Capitol since 1814,” Cheney said when tapped for the committee by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Never mind the 1954 raid by Puerto Rican nationalists who shot five congressmen, the 1983 Senate bombing by left-wing militants granted clemency by Democrats, the al-Qaeda terrorists who flew a plane into the Pentagon on 9/11, or the summer of rage last year that frequently perpetuated political violence in the nation’s capital and repeated it across the country.

In fact, the carnage in the capital last summer excused, endorsed, and encouraged by Democrats and their allies in legacy media was far worse than the riot on January 6 by nearly every metric. More than 30 people died while dozens, if not hundreds, more livelihoods went with them when businesses were destroyed, and the dollar cost far exceeded, by 66 times, the already inflated estimate of the damage to the Capitol.

Rep. Adam Kinzinger Tears up at January 6th Commission Hearing

By Breitbart. Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) got emotional and teared up during his opening statement during the first hearing of the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the Capitol on Tuesday.

Kinzinger, one of two Republicans whom House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) hand-selected to serve on the commission, choked back tears as he commended the four United States Capitol Police officers who came to testify.

Debunked Claims Officer Sicknick Died From Capitol Riot Injuries Reemerge at Day One Hearing

By Washington Examiner. The evidence-free claim that Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick died from injuries suffered in the Jan. 6 riot reemerged Tuesday during the first day of hearings in the Democratic-led House select committee’s inquiry of the event.

Sicknick, 42, died the day after responding to the riot, which broke out as lawmakers counted electoral votes to affirm President Joe Biden’s victory over Donald Trump. In the days that followed, news outlets reported the 13-year veteran was beaten with a fire extinguisher, but the medical examiner concluded Sicknick suffered two strokes and that his death was from “natural” causes.

Still, committee Chairman Bennie Thompson, a Mississippi Democrat, said in his opening remarks that “seven people lost their lives” in the riot. The number would appear to include Sicknick, two officers who died by suicide in the following days, a protester shot by police, two protesters who suffered fatal heart attacks, and another who died of a suspected drug overdose.

Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn also perpetuated the claim regarding Sicknick in his remarks. . .

The only person killed during the riot was Ashli Babbitt, a 35-year-old Air Force veteran and Trump supporter who was shot by an as-yet unidentified Capitol Police officer as she attempted to climb through a broken window near the Speaker’s Lobby. Department of Justice Declares COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates Legal

The Department of Justice concluded in an opinion that federal law doesn’t prohibit public agencies and private businesses from requiring COVID-19 vaccines under the Food and Drug Administration’s emergency use authorization.

On July 26, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, California, and New York City said they would require some of their government workers to get the COVID-19 shot or be tested weekly. Veterans Affairs, with the move, became the first federal agency to mandate the vaccine.

The Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel on July 26 wrote (pdf) that because access to COVID-19 vaccines is more commonplace, “numerous educational institutions, employers, and other entities across the United States” have said they will require some individuals to be vaccinated against the virus as a condition of employment, participation, benefit, service, or relationship.

“For instance,” it wrote, “certain schools will require vaccination in order for students to attend class in person, and certain employers will require vaccination as a condition of employment.”

The opinion, which noted that some have questioned the legality of such mandates, concluded that federal law concerning the FDA’s emergency use authorizations (EUA) on COVID-19 vaccines made by Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson doesn’t “prohibit public or private entities from imposing vaccine requirements, even when the only vaccines available are those authorized under EUAs.” (Read more from “Department of Justice Declares COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates Legal” HERE)

Candace Owens: America Is Turning Into a Racist Country Under Liberal Leadership

Liberal leaders are doing a bang-up job turning America into a racist country, Conservative author Candace Owens says.

In an interview with Mark Steyn on Fox News, Owens denounced woke liberals for their nonsensical approach to secondary education.

Recently, a BLM off-shoot group, Dallas Justice Now, penned an “Open Letter to Wealthy White Liberals of HPISD,” demanding white parents pledge not to enroll their kids in Ivy League schools and Owens reacted to the group’s virtue-signaling on Monday’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight.” . . .

“America, with liberals and progressives at the helm of it, is certainly becoming an increasingly more systematically racist country. That’s what they want. That’s what they’re asking for,” Owens remarked.

White House Grilled on Why Fully Vaccinated People Need To Wear Masks If Vaccines Work

The White House was pressed Tuesday on why vaccinated people should return to wearing masks in certain situations since the COVID-19 vaccines are effective in preventing serious disease.

Press secretary Jen Psaki responded to a question from Fox News’ Peter Doocy by saying that masks are an “extra step” that provides further protection against COVID-19, while maintaining that vaccines against COVID-19 “work.”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is expected to announce Tuesday that some vaccinated individuals resume wearing masks in certain situations to protect against COVID-19, reversing its earlier guidance that only unvaccinated individuals should wear face coverings.

In May, the CDC announced that vaccinated individuals were not required to wear masks indoors or outdoors, or physically distance, while maintaining that unvaccinated individuals should continue to wear masks and socially distance.

At the time, the CDC still recommended that fully vaccinated individuals wear masks while in crowded indoor settings, such as riding public transportation and in hospitals, prisons and homeless shelters. The CDC told Fox News last week it had “no plans” to update its mask use recommendations. Major General Can’t Take The Heat On Twitter, Disgraces The U.S. Military

U.S. Major General Patrick Donahoe recently found himself in a Twitter debate he couldn’t win, so he tried to get his “opponent” silenced.

Donahoe first became enraged on Twitter after Josiah Lippincott, a Hillsdale College PhD student and former member of the U.S. Marine Corps Artillery, questioned his hysterical attempts to promote the COVID vaccine. Rather than thoughtfully debate Lippincott on the merits of his argument, Donahoe lashed out, going so far as to demand that Lippincott’s academic institution censor his speech. “Hey @Hillsdale come get your boy,” Donahoe whined.

After the Twitter exchange, Lippincott aptly reflected that “[his] interaction with the General serves as a microcosm of the American military’s cultural rot.”

“Here we have a two-star General who spends his days on social media hyping a vaccine for an illness that poses minimal risk to his troops,” Lippincott wrote in his ensuing op-ed. “When pressed on why America can’t win wars and why he embraces policies that treat healthy people like biohazards, his first response is to accuse his critics of treachery and then block them from view.”

As the commanding general of Fort Benning, which straddles the Alabama-Georgia border, Donahoe has repeatedly promoted the COVID therapeutic vaccines via his official Twitter account, but he shirks substantive debate. “[W]e’ve seen a spike in young trainees in the ICU, spike in trainees arriving positive, and it moves quick in the formation,” Donahoe claimed on Twitter. “To get ahead get the shot. Takes five weeks to build the immunity. If you haven’t done so, do it right now. Delta variant aint playing.”

Democrats Worried About Voting Turnout in 2022 After Republican Voting Laws

Democratic activists, politicians and staffers are highly concerned about their ability to turn out voters in 2022 given recent changes Republicans have made to election laws.

Republicans have introduced election laws in a number of states across the country since the 2020 election, many of which are primarily aimed at undoing pandemic-related provisions within election procedures. Laws in Georgia and Texas have drawn particular scrutiny for allegedly being tools for voter suppression. . .

The Republican laws contain provisions that would both expand and restrict voting access in certain ways. Some pandemic-induced features of elections, such as drive-in voting, 24-hour voting or expanded use of mail-in ballots, are being scaled back or entirely eliminated. However, Georgia’s law expanded early voting hours, as does Texas’.

Democrats can’t agree on exactly which parts of the laws they’re most opposed to, Politico reported. Some activists are also growing frustrated that elected officials aren’t doing enough to counter the new Republican laws. Trump: How Would Lebron James Compete As a Transgender Woman?

Former President Donald Trump asked his supporters what would happen to the popularity of LeBron James if the National Basketball Association’s biggest star transitioned from male to female.

Speaking at the “Protect Our Elections” rally in Arizona, Trump questioned what would happen to the “greatness” of James if he transitioned and took the court in the Women’s National Basketball Association.

“Somebody said that if LeBron James ever decided to get the operation, how would he be on the court,” Trump said Saturday. . .
