It’s a claim along with the likes of neo-Nazis are “fine people” that has become a symbol for the left of Donald Trump’s diabolical character — the assertion one year ago that the then-president suggested Americans could inject bleach in their bodies to kill the COVID-19 virus.

But Trump didn’t say that, as PJ Media’s Matt Margolis documents, just as never said neo-Nazis and white supremacists are “fine people.” . . .

The bleach claim originated April 23, 2020, during the White House Coronavirus Task Force briefing in a discussion about possible COVID-19 treatments, including UV light.

Trump said: “And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning? Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that. So, that you’re going to have to use medical doctors with. But it sounds — it sounds interesting to me.” . . .

Cartels Offering American Teenagers Money to Smuggle Illegal Aliens

Mexican drug cartels and cartel-associated smuggling networks are now bringing so many illegal immigrants into the United States that they’re putting out ads on TikTok, targeting American teenagers in South Texas with offers of thousands in cash to ferry migrants past U.S. checkpoints just north of the border.

This week Fox News reported on the scheme, including screenshots of TikTok ads offering as much as $3,500 cash for a single trip. One ad reads, “Got another 6 left, already crossed. Lemme know ASAP for that easy cash,” according to Fox News, which also reported that teenagers are in some cases borrowing their parents’ SUVs to smuggle migrants, often without the parents knowing.

The migrants in question are almost certainly single adults trying to evade Border Patrol and slip into the United States undetected. Unlike unaccompanied minors and families, who typically turn themselves in to U.S. authorities after crossing the Rio Grande in hopes of a quick release, adult migrants are likely to be immediately expelled and thus often try to avoid detection.

For all the media coverage that migrant minors and families have gotten in recent months, single adults have made up a far greater share of illegal immigrants coming across the southwest border this fiscal year. Since October 2020, Border Patrol has encountered more than 400,000 single adults crossing the border illegally, compared to approximately 140,000 minors and families. Dem Rep.: Officer in Ma’Khia Bryant’s Death ‘Responded as He Was Trained to Do’ (VIDEO)

Representative Val Demings (D-FL) said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that she thought the officer who fatally shot Ma’Khia Bryant in Columbus, Ohio “responded as he was trained to do.”

Anchor John Dickerson said, “Let me ask you about the George Floyd Policing Act and this awful incident, Ma’Khia Bryant in Ohio. So under- as I understand it, under the legislation, federal officials, police officers — they would be restrained from using excessive force unless a third party was in danger and unless they couldn’t deescalate. Those seem to be the facts of the case in the Bryant case, which means that under the standards set in the Floyd Policing Act, the officer, in that case, seems to have acted as they were trained and supposed to.”

Kamala Calls for an Assault Weapons Ban

On Sunday, Vice President Kamala Harris on CNN’s “State of the Union” called on lawmakers to pass an “assault weapons ban.”

Anchor Dana Bash said, “More broadly, there have been at least 50 mass shootings in America in a little over a month. Your administration has made clear that infrastructure is the next big legislative priority. Why not guns? Anthony Fauci told me over the weekend that gun violence is a public health emergency.” . . .

She added, “We should have background checks. That’s just reasonable gun safety laws. We should have an assault weapons ban. Assault weapons have been designed to kill a lot of people quickly. They are weapons of war, and Congress has to account, Dana. I mean, you know, I was recently in Connecticut. Senators Murphy and Blumenthal and the governor there, so many people, the families of Sandy Hook. You know, I honestly thought that when those babies, 26 seven-year-old children, were slaughtered, I thought Congress would act. GOP Senator Has an Idea to Match Democrats’ DC Statehood ‘Power Grab’; Cruz: Dems Using ‘Race Card’ in D.C. Statehood Debate

By Townhall. The Democratic majority in the House of Representatives passed legislation recognizing D.C. statehood on Thursday, and the measure now heads to the Senate. Granting D.C. statehood has minimal GOP support, and it is unlikely to overcome the 60-vote threshold in the upper chamber.

While Republicans remain opposed to making D.C. the 51st state, on a constitutional basis, one Republican lawmaker proposed a different idea to match Democrats’ demand. GOP Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) introduced legislation to make D.C. a part of Maryland, as opposed to giving individual statehood.

Cruz said in an interview with Fox News Channel’s “The Faulkner Focus” that the “race card” is the “only card” Democrats have in their deck. Roofing Company Offers Free AR-15 With Purchase

. . .Matt Thomas, who does marketing for Wiggins Construction, created the idea to offer a free AR-15 to those customers who sign up for a new roof installation.

He wanted to offer something to new Wyoming residents who have fled liberal states, like California.

He explained, “People are moving into Wyoming to get out of the cities and to get away from the regulation and to get away from living in fear. We’re just offering it as almost like, for the people that are recently moving to Wyoming as a ‘Welcome to Wyoming’ gift, and for the people that are here, locals, just a ‘thank you’ for doing business.”

But he’s had reactions – of outrage – from Chicago, from California, from New Hampshire, and more. . .

Judge Grants Dems Pause In Arizona Ballot Recount

A judge granted Democrats in Arizona a pause in the long-awaited hand recount of Maricopa County’s 2020 election ballots, but it appeared short-lived.

The Arizona Republic reported the county delivered all 2.1 million ballots to the state Senate, which has hired a contractor to audit the ballots at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Democrats sued, claiming there isn’t adequate security.

Superior Court Judge Christopher Coury said he wanted to ensure the recount fully complies with Arizona law. But the pause appeared temporarily, when the Democrats declined to post a $1 million bond to cover higher costs incurred by the delay. The judge had said he would review security plans.

“I do not want to micromanage and it is not the posture of this court to micromanage or even to manage the process by which another branch of government, the Legislature, the Arizona state senate proceeds,” Coury said. “However, it is the province of the court to ensure voter information and those constitutional protections are held sacrosanct and that also includes the protection of ballots under Arizona law.” (Read more from “Judge Grants Dems Pause In Arizona Ballot Recount” HERE)

MLB Survey Asks Fans if They’re Republicans or Democrats

Major League Baseball (MLB) is now questioning fans about political affiliation in their new post-game survey about the ballpark experience.

MLB is under new scrutiny as a new survey shows fans are being about political affiliation in a ballpark experience in a post-game survey. In a report from National Review, MLB claims the questions asked regarding political affiliations are “part of the extensive fan surveys MLB is conducting this year around the ballpark experience.”

The league claims the surveys are for are to try trying to “gain knowledge about fan perceptions, preferences, and behaviors during the COVID-19 pandemic.” Of course, according to a recent poll done by Morning Consult, it was found, their favorability levels have completely collapsed within the Republican base.

For pro-sport Republicans, rating collapsed 35 percent, down from 47 percent to 12 percent in only a month. The poll showed the MLB used to have the “highest net favorability rating among Republicans of the four major sports leagues before the All-Star Game decision,” Morning Consult noted. Biden Stops Fining Illegal Aliens Who Do Not Depart U.S.

President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has stopped fining illegal aliens who refused to depart the United States, the agency revealed.

In an announcement on Friday, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas stated that the agency has stopped issuing fines to illegal aliens who refused to depart the U.S. despite previously stating that they would depart.

Former President Trump, with the authority of the Immigration and Nationality Act, finally started requiring the federal government in 2018 to issue fines to illegal aliens who refused to depart the U.S. after the provision failed to be enforced for more than 20 years.

As Breitbart News reported at the time, the Trump administration started fining illegal aliens up to $500 every day they refused to depart the U.S. In some cases, illegal aliens racked up fines of close to $500,000 for violating federal immigration law.

Mayorkas, in a statement, said DHS has rescinded the use of fines on illegal aliens, claiming the authorized policy is not effective in deterring illegal immigration. Deep State Mouthpiece Retaliates Against Staffer Who Uncovered Russia Collusion Hoax

A frequent media mouthpiece for the intelligence community who published the classified leak that launched the Russia collusion hoax is retaliating against the senior government official who debunked it.

In a meandering Washington Post column, first mocking the idea of a “deep state” before repeatedly and effusively praising it for its work thwarting the will of the elected government, David Ignatius uses anonymous sources to attack Kashyap Patel for exposing misbehavior by intelligence officials, holding them accountable, and mostly for the crime of behaving as if the duly elected President Donald Trump, not unelected bureaucrats, was the real head of the executive branch of government. . .

As a senior staff member on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Patel was responsible for much of the work debunking the conspiracy theory that arose out of the criminal leak of classified information to Ignatius, a crime that was never really investigated and certainly never prosecuted. The people Patel exposed worked with liberal journalists to attack him for years. . .

Now, Ignatius’ anonymous sources claim that it is Patel who is “facing” an investigation by Department of Justice officials for “possible improper disclosure of classified information.” It’s impossible to know if such a potential investigation is real or just another one of the made-up claims that Ignatius is always eager to peddle.

He doesn’t say that Patel is “under” investigation, but “facing” one. He claims this potential investigation would be something that arose out of a complaint from an “intelligence agency,” but it’s impossible to know if that’s true or just something being said for the purpose of another Russia collusion hoax-style operation. One intelligence official said that while anyone can start an investigation, if Patel’s enemies had a legitimate claim against him, some evidence would have been provided. Ignatius provides no substantiation for the claim. But at least he didn’t accuse him of violating the Logan Act!
