Derek Chauvin’s Lawyers ‘Arguing That George Floyd Does Not Deserve Justice’: Cori Bush

By Fox News. Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., said Tuesday that defense lawyers for fired police officer Derek Chauvin are “arguing that George Floyd does not deserve justice” and described the news cycle surrounding the trial as “trauma.”

On Tuesday, the mixed martial arts fighter who witnessed Chauvin’s May 2020 arrest of Floyd told a jury he called 911 after watching the events unfold because he believed he “witnessed a murder.”

The trial continued into its second day on Tuesday for Chauvin, a 45-year-old former officer who was seen on video holding his knee against Floyd’s neck for nearly nine minutes during the May 25 arrest. He is facing charges of second- and third-degree murder and manslaughter.

Bush has advocated for positions that include restricting qualified immunity for officers. She praised Democrats’ “George Floyd Justice in Policing Act” for addressing the topic earlier in March. Democrat-Run City Residents Must Prepare for Derek Chauvin Verdict

If Chauvin, the Minneapolis police officer on trial for the death of George Floyd (P.S. Minneapolis has been run exclusively by Democrats for decades), is found not guilty, America’s left-wing terrorists in Antifa and Black Lives Matter will almost certainly make last year’s riots look like a dress rehearsal.

Last summer, after that awful video of Floyd’s death hit the Internet, where did the worst of the violence hit? In these Democrat-run cities: Los Angeles; Minneapolis; Fayetteville; Atlanta; New York; Nashville; Seattle; Portland; Philadelphia; Chicago; Milwaukee; Salt Lake; Washington, DC; Detroit; Indianapolis; San Francisco; Kansas City; Houston; Charlotte; Cleveland; Pittsburgh; Denver; Dallas; Phoenix; Tampa; Baltimore; Oakland; Louisville, and even a little place called Kenosha.

Does anyone doubt the terrorists in Black Lives Matter and Antifa are planning and plotting for a second wave of violence should Chauvin be acquitted?

Trump Returns Fire, Trashes ‘Self-Promoters’ Fauci and Birx

Former President Donald Trump on Monday attacked Drs. Anthony Fauci and Deborah Birx after they faulted his management of the COVID-19 response.

The prominent members of Trump’s White House Coronavirus Task Force said in a CNN special that Trump imperiled the public — but in his rebuttal, Trump accused them of shifting blame.

Trump included jabs at Fauci’s botched opening pitch at a baseball game in July and Birx’s controversy involving a seemingly hypocritical Thanksgiving trip.

“Based on their interviews, I felt it was time to speak up about Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx, two self-promoters trying to reinvent history to cover for their bad instincts and faulty recommendations, which I fortunately almost always overturned,” Trump said in the emailed statement.

Ghislaine Maxwell Charged With Sex Trafficking 14-Year-Old

Federal prosecutors filed two sex-trafficking charges on Monday against Ghislaine Maxwell, an associate to the late Jeffrey Epstein, expanding the criminal case against her with a fourth alleged victim.

The British socialite, aged 59, is now accused of grooming and paying a 14-year-old girl to engage in sexual acts with Epstein, according to the indictment from federal prosecutors in Manhattan.

Prosecutors allege between 2001 and 2004, the then-teenager, identified as “Minor Victim-4,” gave Epstein multiple nude massages in which the two engaged in sexual acts. . .

The superseding indictment said Maxwell “sought to normalize inappropriate and abusive conduct by, among other things, discussing sexual topics in front of minor victim-4 and being present when Minor Victim-4 was nude in the massage room of the Palm Beach residence.”

Trump Launches New Post-Presidency Website

Former President Trump and former first lady Melania Trump announced Monday evening the launch of a new website, 45Office.com.

In a brief statement, the Trumps said the site will “allow individuals to submit correspondence, scheduling requests, and press inquiries,” adding that they “look forward to staying in touch.”

An FBI So Corrupt It Lets Mass Shooters Rampage; Needs to Go

The New York Times reported on March 27 that Syrian-born Colorado mass shooter Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa had been on the FBI’s radar before he murdered 10 people in a grocery store. . .

According to a police affidavit, six days before Alissa shot 10 people to death, he purchased a pistol. That would have required him to pass a federal background check also run by the FBI. It seems the FBI is not very good at this “stopping mass shooters” thing.

This is not an anomaly in the FBI’s history. It in fact appears to be a pattern of negligence. During the Barack Obama presidency, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., grilled FBI Director James Comey about the “known wolf” problem — of 14 Islamist attacks in the U.S. during Obama’s tenure, the FBI had been aware of at least 12 before the violence erupted, and did nothing. . .

While the FBI has been failing to stop terrorist attacks by known threats like these, it has conducted numerous political operations on behalf of Democrats. The ones we know about include Crossfire Hurricane‘s use of federal spy power to affect election outcomes and prevent effective governance by elected Republicans. That operation included spying on Fox News.

In 2020, the FBI sent 15 agents to investigate a rope tied in a loop that hysterical people alleged was a “noose” after a black NASCAR driver was assigned a garage with the rope as its door pull. Illegals First Agenda: Biden’s Border Crisis Is Displacing Foster Kids

As President Joe Biden and his administration continue to downplay the surge of illegal aliens, many of them unaccompanied minors, at the U.S.-Mexico border, Americans across the nation are grappling with the changes and effects the Democrat’s disastrous border crisis is having in their communities. . .

Last week, a family located in a suburb of Seattle, more than 1,000 miles from the southern U.S. border, was asked to vacate the home they used to foster approximately 20 children over the last seven years because the nonprofit that provided it to them has “chosen to pursue a different strategic vision” and is beginning to “provide a different scope of services in support of unaccompanied youth.”

Using federal funds offered by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), Friends of Youth will turn the house, once used to give the family’s foster children who struggle with “severe behavioral problems” a place to live, into a facility for illegal and unaccompanied migrant children, despite the state’s widespread housing shortage for troubled youth requiring “therapeutic beds.” The decision, foster father Edmundo Serena Sanchez told King 5, “had a devastating impact on the four children in his foster care who will likely be required to move to new foster homes” because he can’t afford a house large enough to hold them.

That same week, the Department of Health and Human Services’ ORR requested federal workers to volunteer for “120-day deployments” to assist with the overwhelming number of unaccompanied migrant children flooding the border every day. Pelosi, Kamala Sued for Banning Annual Prayer Event at Capitol

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Vice President Kamala Harris have been named defendants in a lawsuit that accuses them of unconstitutionally banning a prayer vigil held annually at the Capitol.

The action in U.S. District Court in Washington was filed Rev. Patrick J. Mahoney.

He wants to hold a Good Friday prayer vigil, as he has in previous years, on the Lower Western Terrace of the Capitol.

However, he is being prevented by a “no-speech zone” that the defendants have established.

According to the complaint: “Plaintiff’s application for a permit to hold a Good Friday prayer vigil is in the exact same location where he held his Good Friday prayer vigil in 2020. In 2020, plaintiff worked with Capitol Police to ensure that he was able to safely hold a prayer vigil on Capitol grounds even though COVID-19 was constraining the nation. The sidewalks and other public grounds appurtenant to and surrounding the United States Capitol, traditional public forums, are currently fenced off to the public and have been since January 6, 2021. YouTube Issues ‘Strike’ Against Steven Crowder

Conservative comedian and BlazeTV host Steven Crowder was once again targeted by Big Tech censors for allegedly violating YouTube’s and Twitter’s content moderation policies. But neither YouTube nor Twitter explained to Crowder how he broke the rules.

On Monday, YouTube informed Crowder’s team that a video titled “HUGE: Nevada Voter Mysteries Deepen!” violated its presidential election integrity policy. In the video, which was reported by TheBlaze when it premiered nearly a month ago, Crowder claimed that an unknown person or group altered public records to hide the fact that a former Hillary Clinton aide — who has allegedly been missing for two years — may have voted illegally in Nevada during the 2020 election.

In an email to Crowder, Youtube said the video was removed and a strike was applied to the Steven Crowder channel. Crowder has been suspended from uploading new videos for one week.

Additionally, YouTube informed Crowder that because of repeated violations of its Community Guidelines, Google AdSense program policies, and Advertiser-Friendly Guidelines, the Steven Crowder channel would be suspended from the YouTube Partner Program and his videos would be demonetized. The shots show dozens of children packed into glass-walled rooms, lying shoulder-to-shoulder on thin mattresses, many covered with foil blankets amid the escalating crisis.

Others showed hundreds of girls packed together, with Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-Texas) saying they have been held for “far longer” than the legal 72-hour limit. . .

Cuellar said 500 girls were moved from the Border Patrol facility to a Health and Human Services facility in San Diego, but the other 200 are among over 5,000 individuals, 65 percent of whom are unaccompanied children, waiting to be processed at the border. Senator Shares Footage of Biden Staffer Blocking Him From Recording in Migrant Facility

By Washington Examiner. Sen. Ted Cruz shared video footage of a reported Biden staffer blocking him from recording in a migrant facility in his home state of Texas.

“Please give dignity to the people. Please give dignity to the people. … Please respect the people, the rules,” the staffer told Cruz while standing directly in front of his camera.

The footage was shown exclusively on Maria Bartiromo’s Fox News show, Sunday Morning Futures.

“So you work for the commissioner, you’re a senior adviser, you were hired two weeks ago, and you’re instructed to ask us to not have any pictures taken here because the political leadership at DHS does not want the American people to know it,” Cruz said to her. . .

“Your policies are unfortunately trying to hide them. I understand that you were instructed,” Cruz said. “I respect them, and I want to fix this situation, and the administration that you work for is responsible for these conditions.”

VP Harris Has No Immigration Meetings Scheduled Despite Leading Crisis Response; Illegal Alien Children to Be Housed on Military Bases

By New York Post. Vice President Kamala Harris avoided media over the weekend and has no immigration-related meetings on her public schedule Monday, as the situation at the border continues to deteriorate.

Harris, who was tapped by President Biden to handle the migrant crisis last Wednesday, made no media appearances on any of the highly watched weekend news talk shows — even as lawmakers on both sides of the aisle made the rounds following their respective visits to the border.

The vice president also has no immigration meetings or public events scheduled Monday, according to her diary released by the Office of the Vice President.

The lack of response comes as the Biden administration’s undoing of former President Donald Trump’s border policies has prompted a flood of Central American and Mexican illegal migrants at the US border, including thousands of unescorted children. DOD and HHS Mum on How Many Migrant Children They Will House on Military Bases

By Washington Examiner. The Pentagon and Department of Health and Human Services continue to conceal just how many unaccompanied migrant children will be housed at military bases across the United States.

As migrants have surged across the border in the opening months of the Biden administration, Customs and Border Protection temporary facilities have become overwhelmed, and migrant children are being transferred to alternate facilities. In past border surges during the Obama and Trump administrations, tens of thousands of migrant children were housed at military bases. Today, the DOD and HHS refuse to disclose the number of accommodations they are preparing for unaccompanied migrant children.

“I’m not going to speak to the numbers,” Pentagon spokesman John Kirby told the Washington Examiner at a Monday press briefing. . .

HHS again declined Monday to respond to an inquiry by the Washington Examiner for the total number of migrants it is planning to house at military bases. . .

Facilities include the two military installations announced by the DOD last week, soft-sided buildings being constructed at Fort Bliss, and 350 beds in a vacant dormitory at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland.
