Biden White House Hammered for ‘Religious Discrimination’

President Biden’s firing of the general counsel for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, a non-partisan position, reflects an intolerance of religious rights, critics contend.

EEOC lawyer Sharon Gustafson, appointed in 2019 for a term scheduled to end in 2023, was told to resign. She refused, so Biden immediately fired her.

BizPacReview reported the Biden administration dismissed Gustafson allegedly because they regarded her as “anti-LGBTQ.”

The report cited former Obama EEOC general counsel David Lopes.

“One of the issues she made as her hallmark, was the issue of discrimination against religious minorities, the law requiring religious accommodation of beliefs,” he said. “Some lawyers from the conservative Christian right view this right as a conflict with requiring nondiscrimination against LGBTQ people.” (Read more from “Biden White House Hammered for ‘Religious Discrimination'” HERE)

Milo Yiannopoulos Comes Out as Ex-Gay

Milo Yiannopoulos, the gay man whose conservative messaging and willingness to speak the truth sparked riots on university campuses may well trigger more outrage now that he describes himself as “Ex-Gay” and “sodomy free,” and is leading a daily consecration to St. Joseph online.

Two years ago, when Church Militant’s Michael Voris famously challenged Yiannopoulos to live a chaste life, Yiannopoulos was not defensive. Instead, he acquiesced, and humbly admitted his human weakness. . .

LifeSite: I imagine that to many who follow you, your recent decision to publicly identify as “Milo, Ex-Gay” may seem like a 180-degree turn. Are you also surprised that your life has taken this turn? Or is it unsurprising, a natural and perhaps inevitable progression in your life? I ask this because over the last few years things that you’ve said have hinted at being drawn in this direction.

Milo: When I used to kid that I only became gay to torment my mother, I wasn’t entirely joking. Of course, I was never wholly at home in the gay lifestyle — Who is? Who could be? — and only leaned heavily into it in public because it drove liberals crazy to see a handsome, charismatic, intelligent gay man riotously celebrating conservative principles.

That’s not to say I didn’t throw myself enthusiastically into degeneracy of all kinds in my private life. I suppose I felt that’s all I deserved. I’d love to say it was all an act, and I’ve been straight this whole time, but even I don’t have that kind of commitment to performance art. Talk about method acting …

U.S. Researcher With Chinese Ties Admits He Convinced Who Team That Missing Wuhan Lab Data Was Irrelevant

The Wuhan Institute of Virology deleted public databases containing information on at least 16,000 virus samples in September 2019, but the World Health Organization did not even request to review the data as part of their investigation into the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic in China in early 2021.

The sole U.S. member of the WHO team, EcoHealth Alliance president Dr. Peter Daszak, revealed during a panel discussion Wednesday that they did not request to see the deleted WIV databases because he personally vouched for the lab, saying the data did not contain relevant information on the pandemic’s origins.

“We did not ask to see the data,” Daszak said during a panel discussion organized by Chatham House. “A lot of this work is work that has been conducted with EcoHealth Alliance. I’m also part of those data and we do basically know what’s in those databases … I got to talk with both sides about the work we’ve done with Wuhan Institute of Virology and explained what’s there.”

“There is no evidence of viruses closer to SARS-CoV-2 than RaTG13 in those databases,” Daszak said, referring to a bat coronavirus studied by the WIV prior to the pandemic that is 96.2% similar to the virus that causes COVID-19. . .

Daszak’s prior work and financial history with the WIV, along with his role in organizing a public relations campaign in early 2020 to paint the theory that COVID-19 could have accidentally leaked from the lab as a “conspiracy,” has been described as a major conflict of interest by U.S.-based epidemiologists and medical groups. Dictator Joe: Biden to Sign Executive Orders on ‘Gender Equality’ While Not Calling for Cuomo’s Resignation

By New York Post. President Biden will sign two executive orders on Monday advancing “gender equality” in conjunction with International Women’s Day — amid days of tepid White House responses to the sexual harassment scandal surrounding New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

The 46th commander-in-chief will sign two orders from the White House in the late afternoon.

The first will establish the White House Gender Policy Council, a four-member panel initially created under President Barac Obama under a different name but disbanded under former President Donald Trump, aimed at addressing “gender in policies, programs and budgets” on a “government-wide” scale.

More specifically, the council will be tasked with combating systemic bias and discrimination, as well as sexual harassment and violence both domestically and worldwide.

The second order, according to the White House, will direct the Department of Education to review the Title IX regulation issued under Trump-era Education Secretary Betsy DeVos. (Read more from “Biden to Sign Executive Orders on ‘Gender Equality’ While Not Calling for Cuomo’s Resignation” HERE)

Dictator Joe Biden

By Washington Examiner. As recently as October, now-President Joe Biden said to legislate by executive order was the role of a dictator, and he promised he would govern in a bipartisan manner to get the votes he needed to enact his policies, because America is a Democracy, and we need consensus. . .

Less than two months in office and President Biden will have signed 37 executive actions as of today. That’s more than the 32 his inferred “dictator” predecessor Donald J. Trump signed in his first 100 days. It’s 18 more than his old boss Barack Obama, 26 more than former President George W. Bush and two dozen more than former President Bill Clinton all in their first 100 days. President Biden hasn’t even met that benchmark yet and has given no indication his administration is even considering slowing down.

Although President Biden campaigned on building consensus and unity, his executive orders are either partisan, liberal handouts or are meant to erase successful Trump-era policies, especially when it comes to immigration and energy. Little to none would garner the votes they needed to pass a divided Congress. . .

Today, President Biden will sign two executive orders, one establishing a Gender Policy Council at the White House (largely symbolic) and another aimed at reviewing Trump-era Title IX funding, specifically for how schools handle sexual assault and harassment charges. Biden’s Eyes ‘Are Now Dead’: Source Says President Kamala Is Imminent

Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon believes America should prepare for a transition to a President Harris.

Bannon was speaking with the author of the book “Biden Unauthorized,” Mike McCormick, on his “War Room” video podcast, reported Conservative Brief.

Bannon pointed to a photo of Biden on the cover of McCormick’s book that was taken some years ago, showing a glint in the eyes of the longtime senator and former vice president.

His “eyes are now dead,” Bannon said of Biden, noting Harris has a much greater role than previous vice presidents, including meeting with foreign leaders.

“Kamala Harris is printed up in playbooks, always there for these meetings,” Bannon said. “Pence was never that. That’s not the role of the vice president.” (Read more from “Biden’s Eyes ‘Are Now Dead’: Source Says President Kamala Is Imminent” HERE)

Air Traffic Controller Warns Face Masks Posing Serious Flight Safety Risks

Air travel is potentially becoming more dangerous due to face masks impeding communications between pilots and air traffic control specialists (ATCS).

Journalist and author Alex Berenson published excerpts from a verified whistleblower’s email explaining that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has implemented stricter rules about masking in air traffic control towers and how it is severely hampering critical transmissions.

The whistleblower says after approximately a year of flexible mask policies, guidance was updated a month ago, with controllers told to “wear them at all times while at work, in position, etc. unless you have an office and are in there by yourself.”

. . .“It has created an issue where we get a lot more read-back errors from pilots on instructions because they can’t hear us clearly over the radio,” the ATCS explains. “Our instructions are almost always time or safety critical, sometimes down to seconds.”

“Worst case scenario is a pilot thinks we say something, reads it back wrong, and it results in disaster if we can’t correct them before we lose them on radios.”

Press Corps Ushered Away After Asking Biden Questions — Again

Aides to President Biden hurried the traveling press corps away as they shouted questions at an unresponsive commander-in-chief in Washington Tuesday — his 48th day in office without holding a solo press conference.

The incident occurred toward the end of a visit by Biden to W.S. Jenks & Son, a hardware store in the nation’s capital that benefited from his temporary extension for smaller businesses of the Paycheck Protection Program.

After quietly watching Biden interact with store owners and employees for about 10 minutes, reporters began shouting a series of questions at him to no avail.

Immediately after, handlers for the 46th president began yelling back assertively, “Come on, press, you gotta go,” as the entire gaggle of reporters was quickly removed from the scene.

Biden, who was standing about 15 to 20 feet away from the press pool, did not flinch or answer a single one of the myriad shouted questions, including one on the burgeoning immigration crisis at the southern border. Another Woman Accuses Governor Cuomo of Sexual Harassment

A sixth woman has brought forth allegations of sexual harassment against Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D), claiming that the governor inappropriately touched her last year at the governor’s mansion, according to a Tuesday report.

The Times-Union reported:

An official close to the matter on Tuesday confirmed to the Times Union that the new allegation had been made. The governor’s office learned of the matter on Monday, an aide said. […] The complaint was reported to the governor’s counsel by other employees in the Executive Chamber. The information also was relayed by the governor’s office to the attorney general’s office, which is coordinating an investigation into multiple allegations of sexual harassment that have been made against the governor.

The Times-Union said that the alleged victim, whose identity has been withheld by the newspaper, is an Executive Chamber staff member. Their are no additional details known about the allegation at this time.

The development comes after New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) appointed independent lawyers to review allegations against Cuomo. Joon Kim, former acting U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, and employment lawyer Anne Clark will undertake the investigation. Trump Rails Against Biden’s Border Crisis

Former President Donald Trump railed President Joe Biden’s Democratic-engineered crisis at the border in a statement Tuesday.

“When I was President, our Southern border was in great shape – stronger, safer, and more secure than ever before. We ended Catch-and-Release, shut down asylum fraud, and crippled the vicious smugglers, drug dealers, and human traffickers,” Trump said. “The wall, despite horrendous Democrat delays, would have easily been finished by now, and is working magnificently. Our country is being destroyed at the Southern border, a terrible thing to see!”

After a Year of Lockdowns, the Labor Market Is ‘Worse Than Predicted’

On this episode of The Federalist Radio Hour, Sean Higgins, a research fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute specializing in labor and employment issues, joins Culture Editor Emily Jashinsky to talk about what the labor market looks like after a year of government-mandated lockdowns.

“I think the impact is going to be worse than predicted,” Higgins said. “There’s still a lot of stuff we haven’t dealt with like the enormous amount of debt the federal government has racked up in terms of paying out relief to people that hasn’t been reckoned with.”

“The move towards automation which is going to cut off some jobs that some people simply had to do … mental health issues that haven’t been gotten the time to be properly treated for people being stuck at home or forced to do things other than they would,” Higgins continued. “The time, the amount of education which will be lost.” (Read more from “After a Year of Lockdowns, the Labor Market Is ‘Worse Than Predicted’” HERE)
