Trump Accuses Bloomberg of ‘Bribing Ex-Prisoners to Go Out and Vote’ For Biden

President Trump said Michael Bloomberg might have broken Florida law in his attempt to get in the good favor of Joe Biden.

“Wow, nobody realized how far Mini Mike Bloomberg went in bribing ex-prisoners to go out and vote for Sleepy Joe. He is desperate to get back into the good graces of the people who not only badly beat him, but made him look like a total fool. Now he’s committed a serious crime!” Trump tweeted on Sunday.

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody announced on Wednesday that she had opened an investigation into Bloomberg at the request of Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, noting that Bloomberg might have broken the state’s election bribery laws by offering to pay the legal fines of individuals with felony convictions so that they can vote in the 2020 election. It is illegal in Florida to give money to anyone as “an incentive simply to vote.” (Read more from Trump Accuses Bloomberg of ‘Bribing Ex-Prisoners to Go Out and Vote’ For Biden” HERE)

Pompeo Decries Media Coverage of Trump Foreign Policy Achievements

The mainstream media rarely focus on the Trump administration’s foreign policy accomplishments, but the American people “will come to see that the world is safer and their lives are more secure as a result of the way President Trump has done it,” Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told Fox News’ “Life, Liberty & Levin” Sunday night.

Pompeo made the comment after host Mark Levin asked whether he thought the media understood the significance of the administration’s foreign policy strategy and achievements.

“I couldn’t tell you if they understand it,” Pompeo said. “If they do, it’s willful deceit to the American people how they speak about this.

Pompeo went on, “I’ve watched the accomplishments we’ve achieved. I could tick off half a dozen here as we sit, right, the strike against Qasem Soleimani, the change to the Middle East, the economic power that we have used to influence our allies and friends to be partners with our friends and to deny resources to regimes like the one that sits in Iran….”

Pompeo also praised Trump for strengthening the NATO alliance — an achievement he said the press “refused to share that with the American people. (Read more from “Pompeo Decries Media Coverage of Trump Foreign Policy Achievements” HERE)

NYPD Line-Of-Duty Injuries Skyrocket Amid Violent Anti-Police Protests

At least 472 cops across all ranks have been injured responding to riots and protests since May 28, department data shows. Officers have been shot at, stabbed, assaulted with rocks, bricks, struck by vehicles and had Molotov cocktails hurled at them, officials said.

Of those injured, 319 cops required hospital treatment and seven, like Lt. Richard Mack, who was badly beaten while making a July arrest on the Brooklyn Bridge, were admitted to hospitals.

“This behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated,” NYPD spokeswoman Sgt. Mary Frances O’Donnell told The Post.

The 472 hurt cops contributed to 7,528 NYPD line-of-duty injuries so far in 2020, up 47 percent from the 5,133 in 2019, NYPD data through Sept. 24 reveals.

“The average person doesn’t hear about the daily assaults and injuries to police officers,” NYPD Sgt. Joseph Imperatrice, founder of Blue Lives Matter NYC, told The Post. “Officers are hurt every single day whether in regards to being assigned to routine patrol or a riot location.” (Read more from “NYPD Line-Of-Duty Injuries Skyrocket Amid Violent Anti-Police Protests” HERE)

FBI Whistleblower on Mueller Team Details Real Reason Flynn Was Targeted

In a stunning and detailed interview conducted September 17 by U.S. attorney Jeff Jensen, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) case agent for the original investigation of former White House National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and who later worked on Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel blew the whistle on myriad problems that plagued those investigations from the very beginning.

FBI Special Agent William Barnett told Department of Justice (DOJ) investigators that the handling of the probes troubled him so much that he threatened to quit working on it in one case, and threatened to go to the Inspector General in another. According to the summary of Barnett’s interview, he said there was never any basis for the bizarre “collusion” theory the agency and the special counsel relentlessly pursued, to the point that agents made jokes about how they could take any piece of information and claim it was evidence of collusion. He said the Special Counsel Office (SCO) pursued Flynn simply as a means to “get Trump” and viewed FBI investigators as a “speed bump” slowing down the work of the attorneys leading the inquisition.

The broader Trump investigation was “opaque,” the case theory was “supposition on supposition,” the Flynn probe in particular was “unclear and disorganized,” and its predicate was “not great,” Barnett told investigators. According to the interview notes, he felt there was “little detail concerning specific evidence of criminal events.”

When Barnett was first placed on the case in 2016, he said he assumed he’d have a better understanding of why the investigation into the Trump campaign was launched as he read through the evidence. But “after being involved in the investigation for six weeks, Barnett was still unsure of the basis of the investigation concerning Russia and the Trump Campaign working together, without a specific criminal allegation.” Much was made over the Republican National Convention platform amending a proposed change in support of “lethal assistance” to Ukraine to “appropriate assistance.” While some at the FBI attempted to claim this was a sign of collusion with Russia, he characterized the theory as “groping.” (Read more from “FBI Whistleblower on Mueller Team Details Real Reason Flynn Was Targeted” HERE)

Trump to Nominate Amy Coney Barrett to Supreme Court, Dems Launch Smear Attacks on Her Adopted Children

By CBS News. President Trump is expected to nominate Judge Amy Coney Barrett to replace the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the U.S. Supreme Court, CBS News has confirmed, according to multiple sources involved in or familiar with the selection process.

It’s possible Mr. Trump could change his mind, but at this point, Barrett is expected to be announced as the president’s choice Saturday afternoon at the White House.

The White House has begun reaching out to Republican Senate offices to schedule meetings with the Supreme Court nominee to take place next week, starting Wednesday morning, according to two sources familiar with the planning. The Senate will be out Monday and Tuesday for Yom Kippur.

She has been a leading candidate and was a finalist to be Mr. Trump’s second Supreme Court pick. Barrett met with the president at the White House on Monday. CNN first reported that the president intends to announce Barrett as his pick. . .

If confirmed, Barrett, who serves on the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, would be Mr. Trump’s third Supreme Court appointee, following Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, and just the fifth woman to serve on the high court. With her ascension to the Supreme Court, Barrett would further solidify its conservative majority, widening it to 6-3 and diluting the power of Chief Justice John Roberts as a swing vote. Democrats Launch Smear Attacks on Amy Coney Barrett’s Adopted Children

By Breitbart. Democrats began smearing Judge Amy Coney Barrett on Friday night before President Donald Trump even nominated her to become the next Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, which he is expected to do on Saturday afternoon.

Dana Houle, a Democrat activist who was once a chief of staff on Capitol Hill to a Democrat lawmaker, tweeted Friday night that he hopes Barrett is investigated over the children she and her husband adopted from Haiti. “I would love to know which adoption agency Amy Coney Barrett & her husband used to adopt the two children they brought here from Haiti,” Houle wrote.

“So here’s a Q: Does the press even investigate details of Barrett’s adoptions from Haiti?” Houle wrote in a follow-up tweet. “Some adoptions from Haiti were legit. Many were sketchy as hell. And if the press learned they were unethical & maybe illegal adoptions, would they report it? Or not bc it involves her children”

In a third follow-up tweet, Houle added: “Would it matter if her kids were scooped up by ultra-religious Americans, or Americans weren’t scrupulous intermediaries & the kids were taken when there was family in Haiti? I dunno. I think it does, but maybe it doesn’t, or shouldn’t.”

Google to Block Political Ads After U.S. Election Polls Close

Google will halt election advertising after the polls officially close for the U.S. presidential election, the company said on Friday.

The largest internet company said advertisers will not be able to run ads referencing candidates, the election or its outcome, according to an email viewed by Bloomberg News. The policy, which is designed to block all ads related to the election, also applies to YouTube, the biggest online video service.

Google also said advertisers should expect to wait at least two days for political ads to be approved in the lead up to the election. Axios reported the new policy earlier. (Read more from “Google to Block Political Ads After U.S. Election Polls Close” HERE)

U.S. Tops 7M COVID-19 Cases

The United States surpassed 7 million coronavirus cases Friday, roughly eight months after the first case was reported by Johns Hopkins University.

California leads the country with over 800,000 total cases, followed by Texas, Florida, and New York. Meanwhile, cases are surging in the Midwest in all states except Ohio, led by South Dakota, with more than 8,000 new cases, while North Dakota’s new cases doubled to 8,752 as compared to four weeks ago.

The rate of new cases is up 9% since last week, with an average of more than 43,000 new cases every day. Roughly 700 people have died each day in the past week, making the total number of deaths over 203,400, according to Johns Hopkins University data.

Former hot spots Arizona, New York, New Jersey, and California have all seen declining new case rates. (Read more from “U.S. Tops 7M COVID-19 Cases” HERE)

Judge Grants Church Trial to Defend Constitutional Right to Worship

Grace Community Church and its Pastor John MacArthur won another victory in their journey to fight for their constitutional right to worship on Thursday when a judge awarded them the opportunity for a trial.

Despite multiple attempts by Los Angeles County to prevent the church from meeting, in which they imposed fines, threatened arrest, and even terminated a parking lot lease between the city and Grace, the church continued to disregard the orders from the county and keep meeting.

“I’m very grateful to Judge Beckloff for providing full due process and recognizing the importance of these constitutional protections. The reality is that the county cannot show that their order is even rational, much less necessary,” MacArthur said.

In a previous order by Judge Mitchell L. Beckloff, the Los Angeles Superior Court issued a preliminary injunction that was intended to prohibit MacArthur and Grace from “conducting, participating in, or attending any indoor worship services.”

“It’s tyranny to even suggest that a government action cannot be challenged and must be obeyed without question. This case goes to the heart of what our founders designed for the purpose of the legitimate government—not to be above the rule of law,” said Thomas More Society Special Counsel Jenna Ellis. “Pastor MacArthur is simply holding church, which is clearly his constitutionally protected right in this country.” (Read more from “Judge Grants Church Trial to Defend Constitutional Right to Worship” HERE)

New Stimulus Deal Before Election Day Looks Increasingly Unlikely

Congress has one more chance to get a stimulus bill done before the election. . .

The Grand Canyon-like gap between the two parties on how to address the struggling economy has persisted for months. Only this time, the election is just 39 days away and a fierce partisan battle over a Supreme Court vacancy is consuming nearly all of the oxygen in the halls of Congress—exacerbating the realistic chances that an agreement is reached.

House Democrats are attempting to revive the lifeless pandemic relief talks by crafting a $2.4 trillion package. It’s $200 billion more than what House Peaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) have previously demanded, which has already been rejected by Senate Republicans and the White House.

The White House, and especially GOP lawmakers, remain opposed to such a high price tag, which Pelosi increased by $200 billion for additional aid for airlines and restaurants. Republicans could potentially entertain somewhere around $1.5 trillion, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin as suggested, who testified on Capitol Hill this week that more relief is direly needed. President Trump visited Atlanta, Georgia on Friday, during a string of campaign stops, to tout his record on the economy.

The president’s plan, according to the campaign, will increase access to capital in Black communities by almost $500 billion, help to create 500,000 new Black-owned businesses, and help to create 3 million new jobs for the Black community.”
