Democratic leadership condoning riots is “unbelievable,” said Sheriff Dave Wedding of Vanderburgh County, Ind., Wednesday.

“What I’ve witnessed across the United States is shocking,” Wedding told “Fox & Friends,” after leaving the Democratic Party.

“As a law enforcement leader, I can’t imagine 101 days of rioting, and it is condoned by the Democratic leadership. It’s unbelievable that they can do that to a law enforcement professional. As a sheriff, I could not imagine putting my deputies on the front lines of these riots night after night with no relief in sight,” Wedding said. . .

President Trump Goes off on NY Dems After Top Police Officials Resign

President Trump tore into New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Rochester’s mayor on Tuesday after the city’s police chief and several of the department’s highest-ranking officers resigned amid outrage over the death of Daniel Prude. . .

Chief La’Ron Singletary announced that he would retire after 20 years on the force, according to a news release from the department. He described the events of the past week as “an attempt to destroy my character and integrity.”

The sudden retirement of Singletary — as well as Deputy Chief Joseph Morabito and Commander Fabian Rivera — comes three days after the state attorney general announced that she will impanel a grand jury to investigate the death of Prude.

Prude, a Black man, died of “complications of asphyxia in the setting of physical restraint” after a “spit hood” was put over his head as he was taken into police custody. . .

Trump’s Pledge to Exit “Endless Wars”: U.S. to Withdraw 2,200 Troops From Iraq

The top U.S. commander in the Middle East announced in Baghdad Wednesday that 2,200 U.S. troops will withdraw from Iraq by the end of this month.

Marine Gen. Frank McKenzie made the announcement alongside the Iraqi Minister of Defense as a sign that the troop reduction decision was made in consultation with the government of Iraq.

“The United States has decided to reduce our troop presence in Iraq from about 5,200 to 3,000 troops during the month of September,” McKenzie said.

“This reduced footprint allows us to continue advising and assisting our Iraqi partners in rooting out the final remnants of ISIS in Iraq and ensuring its enduring defeat,” he added. . .

The withdrawal announcement Wednesday was a coordinated effort between the Pentagon and President Trump, who has pledged to exit “endless wars.” Trump has hit Democratic opponent Joe Biden for his vote in favor of the Iraq War in 2002 as a member of the U.S. Senate and has campaigned on getting the U.S. military out of the Middle East. Former Biden White House Staffer Says Dem Nominee Is Slipping, Has Lost “Mental Acuity”; If Joe Biden Wins, Will COVID Suddenly Disappear?

By The New York Post. Joe Biden’s former White House stenographer said the Democratic presidential nominee has “lost a step” and isn’t as mentally sharp as he was four years ago.

“It is a complete difference from what he was in 2017,” Mike McCormick, who worked with the former vice president from 2011 to 2017, told the Washington Free Beacon. “He’s lost a step and he doesn’t seem to have the same mental acuity as he did four years ago.”

“He doesn’t have the energy, he doesn’t have the pace of his speaking. He’s a different guy,” McCormick said about 77-year-old Biden in the interview published Tuesday.

McCormick, whose book “Joe Biden Unauthorized” chronicles his time in the White House, told the publication that Biden had a talent for clicking with audiences and would often go off-script, something the nominee doesn’t do anymore.

“He’d just make a big joke out of it, and go straight from the hip. And notice, he’s not doing that anymore. He read that [Democratic National Committee speech] verbatim … it’s not Joe Biden anymore,” McCormick said, noting he looks “lost” during interviews now. If Joe Biden Wins, Will the Pandemic Suddenly Disappear?

By The Federalist. Here’s a prediction for the November election: if Joe Biden wins, the coronavirus pandemic will all but disappear overnight.

I know, it sounds crazy. To hear Biden tell it, the pandemic is getting worse all the time, not better, and Americans are increasingly consumed with fear and despair that they and their loved ones will die from the disease or lose their jobs or otherwise have their lives ruined, all because of Trump’s mishandling of the coronavirus. . .

But it’s easy to see why Biden is painting such a dire picture. The worse the pandemic, the longer it lasts, the more pain and suffering it causes, the stronger his case that Trump’s response has been a “failure” and that the president “doesn’t care” about the lives and livelihoods lost on his watch.

If Biden wins, expect all this doom and gloom to dissipate, even if the disease’s trends don’t change all that much. Expect, too, that Democratic governors and mayors will be far more inclined to relax lockdown orders and business closures. Why? Because keeping the country locked down in the name of the pandemic is a way for them to hurt Trump, which is the only thing they really care about. Christians were banned from the park, but not Black Lives Matter or Antifa. Let that sink in, folks.

“This is extraordinary: Seattle denies Christians permit to worship peacefully OUTSIDE and then puts up fences to block them – but allows for outdoor protests and camps,” Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) wrote on Twitter.

But instead of canceling the event, the Christians simply relocated the service to the street and called it a “worship protest.” . . .

Seattle Shuts Park to Christians, but Allows Leftists to Continue Spreading Chaos

By WND. The same city that allowed anarchists to take over its downtown for weeks and is playing host to anti-Trump protests over Labor Day weekend has slammed the door on a Christian event using a city park. . .

The city department did not cite the event in a statement announcing the closure, but invoked COVID-19 in saying the park would be closed for Labor Day “due to anticipated crowding that could impact the public health of residents.”

Spiritual Awakening Taking Place in America as Churches Deal With Social Distancing Restrictions

Recently in Portland, Oregon, thousands of Christians lifted their voices in prayer, praise and worship for an event called “Riots to Revival.” It was an effort to heal the brokenness resulting from the pandemic. . .

“It’s fun watching God show up,” Feucht told CBN News. “We’ve spent the last 15 years, I have, going into a lot of dark hard nations around the world – North Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia. And now we get to do it in our own nation.”

In California, where indoor worship services have been banned because of COVID-19 restrictions, churches have been discovering new ways to serve their communities. . .

“We’ve had 135 churches in San Diego come together,” said [Pastor] Stonier. “We had a prayer event; 11 different locations. We had over 15,000 people around San Diego or online. We called it ‘We Pray San Diego’. WATCH: Biden Claims President Trump Is Attempting to Defund Police

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden tried to make the case that it is President Trump who wants to defund the nation’s police departments while he was being interviewed by ABC27. . .

“You watch the ads, I’m sure you’ve seen them although a lot of Pennsylvanians are seeing because there’s a lot of ads out there right now. They would say that you want to defund the police, it seems to be trying to frighten some folks, so can you set the record straight on that?” an ABC27 reporter asked Biden.

“I not only want to defund the police, I’m the one calling for $300 million more for local police, for community policing. I also think we should add social workers and psychologists to help police on 911 calls,” Biden said. “The only person calling to defund the police is Donald Trump. Look at his budget. He calls for cutting police funding for local — state and local help by $400 million. Once again, he’s pathological.”

Report: Obama’s CIA Chief Had ‘Secret Task Force’ to Probe Trump; White House: ‘Additional Documents’ Spell ‘Trouble’ for Ex-Officials in Durham Investigation

By WND. Former Barack Obama CIA Director John Brennan set up his own “secret task force” to investigate Donald Trump before the FBI began its Russia-collusion probe, according to investigative reporter Paul Sperry.

The Brennan task force, operating out of CIA headquarters in Langley on a separate budget, was discovered in the investigation of the Obama Russia probe by U.S. Attorney John Durham, Sperry said.

Brennan has been one of Trump’s harshest critics, accusing him of “treason.”

Sperry’s reporting was backed up by reporter Adam Housley, who tweeted that Brennan had been “doing this well before Trump.”

White House: ‘Additional Documents’ Spell ‘Trouble’ for Ex-Officials in Durham Investigation

By Washington Examiner. White House chief of staff Mark Meadows said he has seen “additional” documents that are pertinent to U.S. Attorney John Durham’s criminal inquiry into the Russia investigation.

Meadows, a former congressional investigator, told Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo on Tuesday that he does not have an update on Durham’s work but noted that these records he has viewed reflect poorly on top FBI officials who were involved in the origins of the operation looking into ties between President Trump’s 2016 campaign and Russia.

“Additional documents that I’ve been able to review say that a number of the players, the Peter Strzoks, the Andy McCabes, the James Comeys, and even others in the administration previously are in real trouble because of their willingness to participate in an unlawful act and I use the word unlawful at best, it broke all kinds of protocols and at worst people should go to jail as I mentioned previously,” Meadows said.

So far, Durham has charged one person with criminal wrongdoing in his investigation. A former FBI lawyer, Kevin Clinesmith, pleaded guilty last month to a false statements charge for fraudulently altering a CIA email during the process of the bureau seeking a court’s permission to renew an order to wiretap a former Trump campaign adviser. Trump’s Black Voter Boom ‘Could Potentially Cost’ Biden the Election

Polls showing consistent black voter support for President Trump at levels higher than those of previous Republican candidates may cost Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden the election. Biden’s backing from this key voting group is less than it was for 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Obama.

In surveys of black voters, pollster John Zogby pegged support for Trump from black voters at 14%. For Biden, he said that support from black voters was between 77% and 81%.

“The numbers from likely black voters are nowhere near where they should be as they fall well below 90%,” he said in his new report in Main St. – K St. IntelligenSEER.

American Flags Traditionally Hung After 9/11 Are Getting Taken Down in New Jersey

Local officials in New Jersey are criticizing the state’s turnpike authority for allegedly taking down American flags that were hung along overpasses in the wake of the attacks on Sept. 11 to honor veterans and those who died defending the country, according to authorities and reports.

Michael Slininger, president of the police union representing Robbinsville Township, near Trenton, said the group had just paid to replace the more than 12 flags that had been either “missing or tattered” from the overpasses along the New Jersey Turnpike and Interstate 195 – which they had done “to continue the tradition of honoring our veterans and those lost in service for our country.”

“American flags have been flown on overpasses throughout the state and throughout the nation since 9/11,” Slininger wrote Monday on a post to the Robbinsville Township Police Benevolent Association’s Facebook page. “Now, as we approach the anniversary of that horrific day, we are extremely disappointed to announce that the NJ Turnpike Authority saw fit to remove all flags on overpasses covering the N.J.T.P. last week, replacing them with signs citing … a code which is meant to apply to advertisement material or improper road signage.”

The New Jersey Turnpike Authority told News 12 New Jersey it’s had a “longstanding policy” that prohibited “the display of any flags, signs or banners by private parties on Turnpike Authority property.”

“While we appreciate the desire of some New Jersey residents to express their patriotism in these turbulent times by displaying flags on turnpike and parkway overpasses, Turnpike Authority regulations do not allow it,” the statement continued. MASSIVE SURGE: Democrats Dominate Mail-In Ballot Requests in Key Swing States

After five months of tweets and soundbites from President Trump warning that voting by mail will lead to a “rigged election” and “massive voter fraud,” a clear partisan divide is forming among those participating in that process.

Election officials in key general election battleground states are noticing a surge of requests for absentee ballots by Democrats – upending a trend of Republicans in some crucial states typically dominating voting by absentee ballot through the mail.

In North Carolina, which last Friday became the first state to start sending out general election ballots to registered voters who requested them, more than three times as many Democrats than Republicans have sought ballots so far. . .

In Florida – the largest of the crucial swing states – 47.5% of requests for ballots have come from Democrats and only 32% from Republicans. It’s a similar story in Pennsylvania – another key battleground state – where ballot requests by Democrats are nearly triple those of Republicans.

In Ohio, half of ballot requests so far have come from Democrats, with 38% coming from Republicans. In Wisconsin, right now an equal amount of Democrats and Republicans have requested ballots. Michigan currently appears to be the only key state where Republicans have the edge over Democrats in absentee ballot requests.
