Fox News Regular Suggests Trump Is Protecting People Named in the Epstein List: ‘Something Has Changed’

Fox News regular guest Victor Davis Hanson suggested on Wednesday that President Donald Trump was protecting people named in the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s list after being pressured not to release the Epstein files.

During an interview with Hanson on Wednesday, The Blaze founder Glenn Beck criticized the Trump administration’s handling of the Epstein files.

“This was just handled so poorly,” said Beck. “And the president doesn’t seem to understand that there are a lot of people who really support him that are like, ‘Wait, I’m with you, I just want to know for sure that we are actually doing everything that we can to root out the deep state and that people, they do go to jail if they did wrong.’”

After Beck asked Hanson why Epstein’s alleged elite blackmail operation wasn’t “being exposed,” Hanson replied:

I think there are people in the establishment– I don’t know if they partook in his sick things he was doing, but they fear– they have some association with him and they gave him money to invest when there was no reason to hire someone like that. There were much better financial gurus but he got half a billion dollars somehow from people who were mainstream establishmentarians on the basis that he was going to blackmail them.

I think that’s how he made his money, and I think those names are numerous, and I think the Trump administration thought, “Well, we’re gonna release this and there’s some crazy people that we don’t care about are gonna be embarrassed.” Then all of a sudden, they got a lot of calls and said, “Why are you doing this? I didn’t do this. I went down the island once, I was on a plane, I didn’t touch anybody, and now you’re gonna release my name.”

John Brennan, James Comey Perjured Themselves, New CIA Memo Appears To Show

Former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director John Brennan and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey may have perjured themselves while insisting under oath that the discredited Steele Dossier was not the basis for their 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA), a new CIA memo revealed.

Brennan and Comey repeatedly insisted the 2017 ICA, which concluded that Russian President Vladimir Putin interfered with the 2016 election with “a clear preference” for President Donald Trump, was not based on assertions from the infamous Steele Dossier.

This claim appears to be directly refuted by new evidence revealed in the CIA’s June review of the ICA.

The review, commissioned by CIA Director John Ratcliffe, concluded that Brennan pushed to include the Steele Dossier in the ICA.

The dossier was compiled by former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele on behalf of Fusion GPS — a research firm indirectly hired by Hilary Clinton’s campaign through the law firm Perkins Coie, the Associated Press reported. Bush-Appointed Judge Blocks Trump From Ending Birthright Citizenship for Children of Illegal Aliens

A federal judge, appointed by former President George W. Bush, has blocked President Donald Trump’s executive order ending birthright American citizenship for the United States-born children of illegal aliens.

On Thursday, Judge Joseph LaPlante of the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire granted a classwide preliminary injunction to illegal aliens who have sued the Trump administration over the order.

The lawsuit is linked to George and Alex Soros’s Open Society Foundations, Breitbart News revealed in April. . .

Last month, the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) ruled that lower district courts cannot simply issue nationwide injunctions and can only apply their judgments beyond the areas of their jurisdiction if the plaintiffs can file their complaints in the form of a class action, demonstrating common injuries.

As a result, plaintiffs in the birthright citizenship case sought class certification from the court so that they could fight to have the order halted. (Read more from “Bush-Appointed Judge Blocks Trump From Ending Birthright Citizenship for Children of Illegal Aliens” HERE)

Trump Declares U.S. Is Officially ‘Back’

President Donald Trump declared Thursday that the United States is officially “back” and called on the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates.

Trump took to Truth Social to tout record highs in the stock market and in the crypto universe, where Bitcoin reached an all-time high this week, as well as a lack of inflation.

“Tech Stocks, Industrial Stocks, & NASDAQ, HIT ALL-TIME, RECORD HIGHS! CRYPTO, ‘Through the Roof.’ NVIDIA IS UP 47% SINCE TRUMP TARIFFS. USA is taking in Hundreds of Billions of Dollars in Tariffs. COUNTRY IS NOW ‘BACK.’ A GREAT CREDIT! ” Trump wrote in part, before calling for lower rates.

“FED SHOULD RAPIDLY LOWER RATE TO REFLECT THIS STRENGTH. USA SHOULD BE AT THE ‘TOP OF THE LIST.’ NO INFLATION!!!” he added.

Trump has repeatedly called out Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, accusing him of keeping interest rates high, but the Fed has declined to lower them to this point despite persistent pressure from the president.

Top Dems Suddenly Demand Epstein Files, Allege Cover-up of Trump Involvement

In what some might call a Johnny-come-lately move, congressional Democrats are calling on U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi to release the Jeffrey Epstein files – because they supposedly mention President Trump.

The demand letter arrived Tuesday, the same day Trump upbraided a reporter asking about the Epstein files during a Cabinet meeting before allowing Bondi to respond. For days now, Trump supporters have condemned the attorney general for releasing a two-page memo Sunday claiming there is no Epstein “client list” and that there is no question he commit suicide in jail.

As reported by the Daily Caller, Democratic Maryland Rep. Jamie Raskin, ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, and Democratic New York Rep. Dan Goldman led Committee Democrats in a letter demanding that Bondi release any Epstein-related evidence allegedly referencing Trump that the Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI have withheld.

The letter charged that Bondi’s conduct was “worrisome” and that the DOJ was potentially being employed to cover up wrongdoing by the president, “including information allegedly contained in the Epstein files.”

“In February 2025, you came under intense public criticism after releasing the ‘first phase’ of roughly 200 pages of the Epstein files that consisted largely of information that was already public,” the lawmakers wrote, adding that Bondi reportedly redirected hundreds of FBI agents to review the files. Chuck Schumer Lays Groundwork For Government Shutdown

Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer is signaling he could plunge the country into a partial government shutdown if Republicans move forward with rescinding just a fraction of a percent of government spending.

The Senate is expected to vote on a request from the White House to claw back $1.1 billion in public broadcasting funding and $8.3 billion in foreign aid next week. Schumer has threatened that Democrats will reject a government funding deal for the upcoming fiscal year if Republicans pass President Donald Trump’s $9.4 billion rescission package, which could trigger a partial government shutdown at the end of September.

“Ask the Republicans why they are heading on this path,” Schumer said at a Senate Democratic leadership press conference Wednesday in response to a question citing his previous warnings about the alleged harmful effects of letting government funding lapse. “We are doing everything we can to keep the bipartisan appropriations process going. And they’re undermining it with rescissions, with pocket rescissions, with impoundment and every other way.”

Schumer’s implicit shutdown threat is a noticeable departure from his decision to avert a lapse in government funding in March by supplying the votes to pass a Trump-backed stopgap spending bill. The Democratic leader’s decision to avoid a government shutdown earlier in the year infuriated the party’s base, leading Schumer to postpone a scheduled book tour. Elected Democrats across the country criticized his leadership.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune criticized Schumer’s recent remarks appearing to use the rescissions package as leverage in the anticipated government funding showdown later this year. Schumer wrote a “Dear Colleague” letter Tuesday warning of “consequences that will be felt far beyond the halls of power” if Republicans claw back funding for public broadcasting and foreign aid. Biden Doctor’s Refusal To Answer A Single Question Blows Up The ‘Doctor-Patient Privilege’ Excuse

Joe Biden’s White House doctor refused to answer a single question during a congressional interview on Wednesday, raising more concerns about efforts to conceal the former president’s decline while in office.

According to House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer, R-Ky., Biden physician Kevin O’Connor pled the Fifth at his previously scheduled deposition with House lawmakers. The revelation came a day after the Trump administration waived executive privilege for O’Connor to sit down with members of the committee for the transcribed interview.

According to a House Oversight Committee official, O’Connor did not simply plead the Fifth on questions related to doctor-patient privilege, but on any and all prospective queries posed by lawmakers.

“The American people demand transparency, but Dr. O’Connor would rather conceal the truth,” Comer said in a statement. “Dr. O’Connor took the Fifth when asked if he was told to lie about President Biden’s health and whether he was fit to be President of the United States. Congress must assess legislative solutions to prevent such a coverup from happening again.”

As John Williams Sr. previously wrote in these pages, O’Connor oversaw three official annual examinations of Biden throughout his presidency, and “When comparing these exams side by side, the common themes of omission, deflection, and misdiagnosis emerge, while issues of concern are painted in the best light possible.” (Read more from “Biden Doctor’s Refusal To Answer A Single Question Blows Up The ‘Doctor-Patient Privilege’ Excuse” HERE)

Christian University Rejects Massive Grant Meant To Turn Churches Gay After Backlash

Baylor University announced Wednesday it has returned a $643,401 grant from a liberal nonprofit meant to foster “inclusion and belonging in the church” for LGBT individuals after receiving backlash from the university’s supporters.

In a now-deleted June 30 announcement, Baylor said the grant, awarded by the left-leaning Eula Mae and John Baugh Foundation, would “help us better understand the disenfranchisement and exclusion of LGBTQIA+ individuals and women within congregations to nurture institutional courage and foster change.” The Christian university is now saying it has entirely rescinded its acceptance of the grant after witnessing “concern and confusion” from the school’s community, partners and supporters.

“We remain committed to providing a loving and caring community for all – including our LGBTQIA+ students – because it is part and parcel of our University’s mission that calls us to educate our students within a caring Christian community,” the university’s Wednesday announcement reads. “As we reviewed the details and process surrounding this grant, our concerns did not center on the research itself, but rather on the activities that followed as part of the grant. Specifically, the work extended into advocacy for perspectives on human sexuality that are inconsistent with Baylor’s institutional policies, including our Statement on Human Sexuality.”

The Eula Mae & John Baugh Foundation “supports progressive, inclusive, nonprofit organizations that reflect the love of Christ,” according to its website. The grant was intended to go to Baylor’s Center for Church and Community Impact. (Read more from “Christian University Rejects Massive Grant Meant To Turn Churches Gay After Backlash” HERE)

Numerous Secret Service Agents Suspended for Conduct During Trump Assassination Attempt

By Breitbart. As many as six U.S. Secret Service agents have been suspended for conduct during the assassination attempt on President Trump.

A U.S. Secret Service official confirmed the suspensions to ABC News, noting that they came just four days shy of the one-year anniversary on July 13. On that fateful day, the bullet fired by 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks grazed the president’s ear. Firefighter Corey Comperatore was killed in the attack, while others were injured.

Following the shooting, an independent review by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) determined that the U.S. Secret Service made mistakes that left the president vulnerable to assassination[.] (Read more from “Numerous Secret Service Agents Suspended for Conduct During Trump Assassination Attempt” HERE)

Americans need full answers on the Secret Service’s Trump assassination-attempt failures

By NY Post Editorial Board. The timeline of what went wrong that day is damning: Crooks, armed with a rifle, was somehow able to get onto the roof of the the AGR building just 400 feet from the stage from where Trump would speak — a building the Secret Service had already identified as a security concern, yet somehow failed to secure.

Nearly 30 minutes before the shooting, local cops raised alarms that a suspicious man with a rangefinder was spotted hanging around the building. And two minutes before, the Secret Service Security Room was told that someone was on the roof.

Yet with all of that information, agents failed to act in time to stop Comperatore from being killed and Trump from very nearly being killed.

This was no run-of-the-mill ball-dropping by one or two agents, but deadly incompetence on every level. . .

Getting to the facts is no impossible task; it starts with grilling each and every agent on duty that day, and the chain of command above them about each of their decisions: Give the public a complete accounting of who left the security team so undermanned; exactly how communications failed so badly; why information about a clear threat didn’t bring the appropriate response. WATCH: Epstein Rape Victim Goes Scorched Earth on ‘Liar’ Trump

A former model who says she was raped at least three times a day on Jeffrey Epstein’s private island is now going scorched earth on President Donald Trump after his Justice Department this week reneged on its pledge to release files including names, flight logs and co-conspirators of the convicted pedophile.

In a video she posted Tuesday on X, Juliette Bryant of South Africa targeted Trump by name, the same day the president blasted a reporter for asking a question about “this creep” Epstein.

“Wow! Donald Trump! American government. Your government kidnapped me,” Bryant began.

“You promised the Epstein list. Victims are being found dead. Hello! I mean the whole reason you gained presidency, Trump, was because of promising the Epstein list. Are you as much of a liar as them?

“Thank goodness for Elon Musk for actually standing up for what’s right. It’s funny how only South Africans stand up, because where are the other 200 Epstein victims? Although maybe they’re too frightened to speak up because of the American government.
