Here Are the States People Are Fleeing From Most During COVID (And Where They Are Going)

. . .New data shows that people flooded out of the Empire State during the pandemic, as 67 percent of all long-distance moves were made by people leaving New York while only 33 percent were by people moving in, Bloomberg News reported.

The data, compiled by United Van Lines from March 1 to Aug. 19, puts New York second in the nation only to New Jersey, where 69 percent of people who moved skipped out while only 31 percent of moves were by people entering the Garden State.

Connecticut trails closely behind in fourth place with 64 percent of moves being people who left the state, Bloomberg News reported.

Meanwhile, the top three states to welcome people moving in were, Vermont, Idaho and Oregon, the report shows.

In Vermont, only 25 percent of moves were people leaving the state, while 75 percent were people moving in. Idaho saw only 33 percent of people who moved heading out of state, while the rate in Oregon was only 37 percent. New York Times Manipulates Data to Indict President Trump on Coronavirus

If you read the New York Times Tuesday morning, you’d think the United States has fallen by the wayside in its fight against the novel Wuhan coronavirus, faring no better in the global pandemic against the invisible enemy than allied nations in the developed world.

In his Tuesday morning briefing, Times writer David Leonhardt kicked off September with a comparative analysis of the United States’ pandemic standing relative to other developed nation’s outlining what he deems “America’s Death Gap.”

“Here’s a jarring thought experiment,” Leonhardt explains. “If the United States had done merely an average job of fighting the coronavirus – if the U.S. accounted for the same share of virus deaths as it did global population – how many fewer Americans would have died? The answer: about 145,000.” . . .

While the United States is by no means a top-tier nation in its pandemic performance, thanks to crisis outbreaks in the densely populated tri-state area around New York City which calls home to more than half of the country’s COVID-19 fatalities, the developed nations presented by the Times as model societies far more triumphant against the virus than the U.S. are in reality no more successful when considering critical context conveniently omitted by the legacy paper.

To indict U.S. performance, the Times scored the U.S.’s response by outlining the proportion of the world’s COVID-19 deaths related to its proportion of the world’s population. For example, the U.S. has suffered about 22 percent of the world’s coronavirus deaths while only possessing 4 percent of the global population presenting a 17.5 percent gap. In contrast, the United Kingdom and Canada hold gaps of merely about 4 percent and 0.5 percent respectively. Foundation With Biden Campaign Ties Funding Leftist Agitators on U.S. Streets

. . .Claiming to be America’s second-largest private foundation, the Ford Foundation has poured almost $2 billion into groups active in “disrupting systems to advance social justice,” according to its grant database.

The Ford Foundation boasts key members of the Joe Biden and Kamala Harris campaign as alumni executives. Harris’s sister and ex-campaign chairwoman Maya Harris served as the Ford foundation’s vice president alongside Biden’s now senior advisor, Cristóbal Alex, who served as its program director during the Obama presidency. . .

During the final months of the Obama presidency, Ford Foundation gave prominent leaders of the communist Workers World Party (WWP) funding to form the Southern Vision Alliance (SVA), a collective of activists that includes members of the group raining down terror in Charlotte last week at the RNC convention.

Shortly after getting $200,000 from the Ford Foundation in 2016, these activists performed one of the first violent and illegal teardowns of a historic monument in the country, in Durham, North Carolina. After the activists were arrested and charged for rioting and property damage, they are being defended in court, for free, by lawyers from another Ford grantee: the Southern Coalition for Social Justice.

Flush with Ford Foundation cash, these activists continue to promote property destruction and violence during demonstrations.

Riot-Ravaged Small Businesses Can’t Afford to Rebuild (VIDEO)

Ever since a multiracial group of Minneapolis cops kneeled on George Floyd’s neck as he died three months ago, there have been riots in American cities every single night. At first our moral, ethical, and intellectual betters in the media just gaslighted us about it. They looked right into their cameras and told us it wasn’t happening. It’s not actual violence, y’know, the bad kind of violence. It’s “mostly peaceful protest.” . . .

But the people in that neighborhood are still there, in the ruins. Velshi and his ilk don’t care what happens to them, because it doesn’t fit liberals’ view of the world and it’s bad for their preferred political party. They don’t care what happens to people like this Minneapolis resident, after rioters destroyed her neighborhood:

. . .The destruction in Minneapolis is astonishing. It took Minneapolis authorities two months to stumble upon a charred corpse inside a burned-down pawnshop. A man named Montez Terrill Lee is currently awaiting trial for committing the arson, but the deceased is still unidentified. The national media just shrugged and moved on. They’re not demanding answers. Al Sharpton hasn’t shown up for another nationally televised funeral. Only certain lives matter. U.S. Divorce Rates Skyrocket Amid Pandemic

Divorce rates have spiked in the U.S. during the coronavirus pandemic as couples have been stuck at home for months.

The number of people looking for divorces was 34 percent higher from March through June compared to 2019, according to new data collected Legal Templates, a company that provides legal documents.

The combination of stress, unemployment, financial strain, death of loved ones, illness, homeschooling children, mental illnesses, and more has put a significant strain on relationships.

The data showed that 31 percent of the couples admitted lockdown has caused irreparable damage to their relationships.

Interest in separation during quarantine peaked on April 13 — just about 15-20 days into when the vast majority of states began lockdowns. (Read more from “U.S. Divorce Rates Skyrocket Amid Pandemic” HERE)

Michael Flynn Remains in Legal Purgatory Over Trump-Russia Collusion Hoax

. . .In an en banc hearing, the D.C. Court of Appeals ruled that the biased judge presiding in Flynn’s case, Emmet Sullivan, can move forward with hearings on the recent Department of Justice motion to dismiss the criminal charges against Flynn. This came after the lengthy history of DOJ/FBI overreach and possible prosecutorial misconduct regarding their investigation to Flynn were unearthed (via Axios):

The full D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals issued an 8-2 ruling on Monday denying former national security adviser Michael Flynn’s petition to force a federal judge to immediately drop his criminal case, as requested by the Justice Department.

Why it matters: The ruling will allow District Judge Emmet Sullivan to hold hearings to discuss the motion to dismiss the case against Flynn, who pleaded guilty in the Mueller investigation to lying to the FBI about his contacts with the former Russian ambassador.

The big picture: The Justice Department under Attorney General Bill Barr moved to dismiss the charges against Flynn in May, following a review that alleged prosecutorial misconduct by the FBI agents who had interviewed Flynn.

Judge Sullivan pumped the brakes on the case and sought to hear from outside parties on whether he should accept the government’s motion.

Top CIA Spy Killed Himself in Front of Wife Who Later Found Stash of Sex Toys, Guns

A top CIA spy killed himself in front of his wife, whom he wanted to take to the “afterlife” — and she later discovered a massive stash of bondage and S&M gear, as well as hundreds of sex toys, guns and ammo in their home.

Anthony Schinella, 52, the national intelligence officer for military issues, shot himself in the head outside his Arlington home on June 14, but US intelligence officials have remained mum about his suicide as the CIA conducted a probe, the Intercept reported.

“My husband was planning on murdering me. He had talked about taking me to the afterlife before,” Washington, DC-based journalist Sara Corcoran, 46 — who had only recently married Schinella — told the Sun. . .

Corcoran said she believes her husband had been planning to blow up their home.

Schinella, the highest-ranking military affairs analyst in the US intelligence community, also was a member of the powerful National Intelligence Council, which produces reports that go to the president and other top officials, according to the Intercept. Here’s the Shockingly Small Number of People Who Died From Only the Coronavirus

By Townhall. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website disclosed the shockingly small number of people who died from only the Wuhan coronavirus, with no other cause of death mentioned. Hold on to your hat because here it is: out of the 161,392 deaths in the CDC data, just six percent, about 9,700 deaths, were attributed to the coronavirus alone. According to the CDC, the other 94 percent had an average of 2.6 additional conditions or causes of deaths, such as heart disease, diabetes, and sepsis.

Instead of protecting the vulnerable – the elderly in nursing homes and those with comorbidities – health “experts” recommended locking everyone up and prescribing for Americans a wide range of ailments such as depression, suicide, missed early cancer screenings, unemployment, substance abuse, and poverty. India Records Biggest Single-Day Coronavirus Infection Spike With 78,761 New Cases

By Fox News. India registered 78,761 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, the biggest single-day spike in the world since the pandemic began, just as the government began easing restrictions to help the battered economy.

The surge raised India’s tally to over 3.5 million, and came as the government announced the reopening of the subway in New Delhi, the capital. It also will move ahead with limited sports and religious events next month.

A country of 1.4 billion people, India now has the fastest-growing daily coronavirus caseload of any country in the world, reporting more than 75,000 new cases for four straight days.

ne of the reasons is testing: India now conducts nearly 1 million tests every day, compared with just 200,000 two months ago.

A significant feature of India’s COVID-19 management, however, is the growing rate of recovered patients. On Sunday, the recovery rate reached nearly 76.5%. (Read more from “India Records Biggest Single-Day Coronavirus Infection Spike With 78,761 New Cases” HERE)

Federal Judge Extends Absentee Voting Deadline, Setting the Stage for Another Trump Campaign Lawsuit

A federal court in Georgia extended a crucial absentee ballot deadline on Monday–giving voters extra time to return their ballots for the upcoming election and giving the Trump campaign a fresh round of fodder for its legal crusade against mail-in voting expansion.

U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia Judge Eleanor Ross issued a 70-page ruling which says the Peach State must accept and count all ballots that are postmarked by election day and received by elections authorities within three days of being mailed.

“The court notes it is reluctant to interfere with Georgia’s statutory election machinery. However, where the risk of disenfranchisement is great, as is the case here, narrowly tailored injunctive relief is appropriate,” Ross wrote. “The court emphasizes that the equitable relief it provides is limited to the November 2020 election during these extraordinary times.”

The decision in the lawsuit brought by the New Georgia Project is focused on five aspects of Georgia’s absentee voting system. Ultimately, Ross determined that the voting rights-focused plaintiffs failed to make their case on most of those challenges.

She did find, however, that Georgia’s law requiring “that absentee ballots must be delivered to a county election official by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day” is likely an unconstitutional burden on the right to vote and in violation of procedural Due Process. National LGBT Chamber of Commerce Endorses Biden

The National LGBT Chamber of Commerce, also known as the NGLCC, endorsed Joe Biden for president Monday, saying the former vice president’s commitment to signing the Equality Act would empower and protect LGBTQ entrepreneurs and business owners.

The Democratic candidate would guarantee nondiscrimination protections that ensure equitable access to capital, particularly during the post-pandemic economic recovery, the chamber said.

“Joe Biden proudly affirms an essential core value of the NGLCC: that we all deserve our shot at the American Dream, and that our economy only succeeds when it is available to all LGBT and allied Americans,” Justin G. Nelson, the organization’s president, said in a written statement announcing the endorsement.

In a subsequent interview with NBC News, Nelson said the “number one issue” for LGBTQ-owned businesses across the U.S. “is access to capital, especially during the pandemic.” (Read more from “National LGBT Chamber of Commerce Endorses Biden” HERE)
