U.S. City Now Recognizes ‘X’ as Gender on Birth Certificates

By Fox News. A bill signed into law this week gives New York City residents the opportunity to change the gender on their birth certificate to a third, gender-neutral option.

The bill allows residents who don’t identify as either male or female to change the gender on their birth certificate to “X,” and also allows parents of newborns to choose the “X” option for their child.

In addition, the bill removes the requirement that residents need an affidavit from a doctor or mental health professional to change the gender on their birth certificates.

De Blasio said the third option is a way for residents who don’t identify as male or female to tell the government who they are — “not the other way around.”

Antifa Vandals Hit GOP Headquarters: ‘Attack Is Merely a Beginning’

The Metropolitan Republican Club on Manhattan’s Upper East Side was vandalized Thursday night with broken windows, spray-painted anarchy signs, and a threatening message that the “attack is merely a beginning.” . . .

The attack happened just weeks after vandals spray-painted an Illinois Republican Party office in Winnebago County with the words “rape” and “shame” on the building, Fox News reported. . .

“Last night the Metropolitan Republican Club was vandalized by the leftist hate group Antifa, who also left a note promising ‘this is just the beginning’ and threatening more violence,” the Met Club said in a statement on Twitter. “Republicans are a minority party in NYC by a wide margin, and while most city residents are respectful of our activities, our grassroots actions are often met with hostility. Last night’s shameful attack by Antifa cowards represents a tragic new low.”

“Sadly this is only the most recent example of leftist violence and aggression against the Conservative Movement,” the statement continued. “But rest assured that we will not be intimidated by violence, threats, or hate speech. We will continue to fight for freedom of speech and liberty here in New York City and all across this great nation.”

New York Republican Chairman Ed Cox and Manhattan GOP Chairwoman A.J. Catsimatidis were expected to condemn the vandalism, call on Democrats to stop inciting these attacks, and urge civility at a press conference Friday at 2 p.m. in front of the Metropolitan Republican Club in Manhattan. Senators Call on Republicans to Stop Acting Like Democrats

Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., are calling on their fellow Republicans to “act like Republicans,” to offer a clear alternative to the Democratic Party in the final weeks before the midterm elections.

In an op-ed written for Fox News, the lawmakers note that political experts and electoral history both suggest that Republicans are set to lose the House of Representatives in November.

“The truth is, over the next 25 days if our party doesn’t show the sharp contrast in each party’s vision for America, then the ‘experts’ will be right,” they write.

Showing that “clear difference” means exposing how “the Democratic Party of 2018 has adopted the most extreme positions in American history.”

The character assassination of Justice Brett Kavanaugh, the harassment of conservatives encouraged by Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., and others, impeaching President Trump, raising taxes, abolishing ICE, and passing single-payer “Medicare for All” make their list of extreme leftist positions. “These radical positions aren’t shared by the country,” they emphasize.

But what is the Republican agenda to counter these leftist positions? Jordan and Meadows list several of President Trump’s accomplishments, but voters tend not to care what you’ve done for them. They want to know what you will do after the election. For these conservatives, that agenda means keeping the Republican promise to replace Obamacare, add work requirements to welfare, and secure the southern border with a wall to combat illegal immigration, violent gangs, and drug trafficking.

“It’s time for Republicans to act like us,” the lawmakers conclude. “It’s time for Republicans to be bold, not timid. It’s time for Republicans to show the American people how radical the left has become. It’s time for Republicans to campaign with confidence and win.”

The problem confronting Republicans who want to champion these issues is that the Republican Party under its current leadership has failed to paint a contrast with Democrats. Congress failed to repeal Obamacare. House Republicans have surrendered conservative priorities to Democrats in spending bills no less than six times. Now Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., who wants to succeed Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wisc., as speaker of the House, is championing a stand-alone bill to fund the wall that everyone knows cannot pass the Senate. Given the opportunity to attach conservative policies to must-pass budget legislation to force a fight, Republicans punted. Now they ask for re-election, but for what? To keep punting?

Jordan is also a candidate for speaker. As this op-ed makes clear, his conservative leadership vision for the Republican Party is to keep promises and have the fights that will draw clear contrasts with the Democrats. Pope Accepts the Resignation of U.S. Cardinal but Downplays Sex Abuse Cover up Allegations Against Him

Pope Francis accepted the resignation of embattled D.C. Cardinal Donald Wuerl Friday months after allegations of sexual abuse cover-up against him surfaced in a Pennsylvania Grand Jury report. The allegations date back to when he was bishop of Pittsburgh from 1988 to 2006. Wuerl was named 170 times in the report and many of the faithful in the Archdiocese of Washington have been clamoring for his resignation.

The pope downplayed the allegations against Wuerl in his letter. He praised the cardinal’s “nobility” and asked him to remain as an Apostolic Administrator for the Archdiocese until his successor is named.

“You have sufficient elements to ‘justify’ your actions and distinguish between what it means to cover up crimes or not to deal with problems, and to commit some mistakes,” the pope claimed. “However, your nobility has led you not to choose this way of defense. Of this, I am proud and thank you.”

The pope’s claim is odd given that Wuerl did vigorously defend himself in this manner, initially denying wrongdoing in his handling of the cases in an August letter to priests arguing that “a just assessment of my actions, past and present, and my continuing commitment to the protection of children will dispel any notions otherwise made by this report.” . . .

The Archdiocese of Washington also attempted to defend Cardinal Wuerl in this way by publishing a website called the Wuerl Record which praised him for his overall record on dealing with abusive priests. The archdiocese also attempted to explain away specific examples of Wuerl reassigning abusive priests. Behold the Media Meltdown Over Kanye West’s Visit to the Oval Office

Kanye West stopped by the Trump White House today to discuss prison reform, among other things. He mentioned the right to bear arms, the problem of illegal firearms, and a whole host of issues that certainly triggered the elite news media. The clip will be featured down below. Kanye then walked over and hugged President Trump. You knew once that happened, West was going to be torched by liberals who cannot stand him saying nice things about Trump and his message. The Daily Caller’s Amber Athey was there to list the grocery list of meltdowns that occurred, the worst being from MSNBC, who claimed this visit was an “assault on our White House.”

Kanye West Jumped on an Apple Store Table to Talk About Trump After Leaving the White House

By The Blaze. After Kanye West left his lunch meeting with President Donald Trump, during which he said some truly bizarre things, he had some more to get off his chest. So he jumped on a table and gave a speech at a local Apple Store.

Jack Jenkins, a reporter for Religion News Service, witnessed the surprising scene and live-tweeted it. . .

For reasons unknown, West entered the Apple Store and asked employees if he could give a “keynote speech.” Apparently deciding it didn’t matter whether or not the store staff approved of this speech, West jumped on a table.

According to Jenkins, West told those gathered that he made an updated MAGA hat that left off the word “again,” because that part of the slogan “hurts black people.” He also bragged that Trump had worn the hat, showing people a picture on his phone for proof.

Kid Rock and Kanye West Have Both Mused About Running for Office. Now They’re at the White House

By TIME. . .Kid Rock and Kanye West, two of Trump’s most high-profile musician supporters, visited the White House on Thursday for the signing of the Music Modernization Act, which aims to update industry copyright law for the streaming era.

West was already scheduled to meet with both Trump and White House senior adviser Jared Kushner on Thursday to discuss, among other topics, prison reform and the resurgence of manufacturing in America, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters earlier this week.

The news then broke that Rock, who publicly supported Trump in the 2016 election, would join the president and West at the singing ceremony to witness the music legislation become law. . .

Both Rock and West have flirted with the idea of running for office. But while Rock ultimately admitted that his Republican Senate bid in Michigan was a promotional stunt for his 2017 album Sweet Southern Sugar, West seems to still be intent on running for president — just perhaps at a later date. O’Keefe Undercover Video Nails Tennessee Democrat’s Senate Campaign for Lying About Kavanaugh Support

The latest sting video from journalist James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas exposes Tennessee Democratic candidate Phil Bredesen’s dishonest campaign for U.S. Senate, indicating that he lied about his support for Justice Brett Kavanaugh to win the election.

Captured on video by an undercover reporter, a staffer for Bredesen’s campaign explained that the candidate’s public support for Kavanaugh was a “political move” to boost his support with some moderate Republicans.

“He thinks that, like, we’re down like half a point right now. It’s, like, really close and we’re losing by a point or two. So he thinks that if, like, by saying this he’s appealing to more moderate Republicans and he’ll get more of them to vote for us,” said Maria Amalla, a field organizer for Bredesen’s campaign.

“Phil Bredesen and his campaign have been shown to lie to Tennesseans, saying one thing to persuade voters on the campaign trail but clearly planning to do something entirely different should he get into office,” O’Keefe said in a statement.

The Leftist Media Keeps Doubling Down on Anti-Trump Propaganda

The agenda-driven media once again reared its ugly head during the Senate confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. Despite its inability to block Kavanaugh’s confirmation, anti-Trump media advocacy will continue to pollute the nation with propaganda.

Supporting the Democrats’ effort to stop Kavanaugh’s Senate confirmation, the media went overboard, pushing unsubstantiated claims of sexual assault against President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee. Following California Democrat Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s release of sexual assault allegations against Kavanaugh by Christine Blasey Ford, an overwhelming amount of network news coverage was biased against Kavanaugh.

According to a study by the Media Research Center, only 4.1 percent of the morning and evening network news coverage by ABC, CBS, and NBC included denials of the accusation by Kavanaugh during the time period between September 13 and September 24. The vast majority of the news was dedicated to the charges made by Ford and Deborah Ramirez, a former Yale University student.

The study was a broad overview of network news, excluding cable news and print coverage, and thus it only scratches the surface of the left-wing media trying to make President Trump look bad on every occasion.

The media coverage of Kavanaugh was so one-sided that former CNN bureau chief Frank Sesno criticized the media on CNN’s “Reliable Sources” for being “unrelentingly negative” and said it bolsters backers of President Trump “who have been questioning media’s bias and their ability to report strategy for a long time.”

Even in defeat, the media shows no signs of slowing down its effort to influence public opinion against President Trump. MSNBC is leading the anti-Trump advocacy. Propaganda masquerading as news will be amplified as a result of MSNBC’s decision to give more air time to Al Sharpton, host of “PoliticsNation with Al Sharpton.”

By rewarding Sharpton, MSNBC is doubling down on using left-wing radicals and President Trump critics as hosts and contributors to twist the truth. In total disregard to truth, honesty, and rational discourse, MSNBC is giving Sharpton an extra show on the weekend while also moving his time slot to 5:00 p.m. Previously, Sharpton’s “PoliticsNation” was aired on Sunday mornings at 8 a.m.

Based on past behavior, there is little doubt Sharpton will use his added TV time to promote race rhetoric and propaganda as a weapon against President Trump. In a recent appearance on MSNBC, Sharpton made an outrageous comment comparing President Trump supporters to people who would attend a lynching after going to church.

Sharpton’s remark echoed the sentiment of a piece, “The Cruelty Is the Point,” written by Adam Serwer of The Atlantic. The article asserts “the Trump era” is marked by people who enjoy cruelty as some people at the time enjoyed watching lynchings.

It seems there is no occasion where Sharpton will stop using the race card against President Trump. For example, Sharpton exploited Aretha Franklin’s funeral to slam the president.

During the eulogy, Sharpton criticized the president for not knowing what respect means, playing off one of Franklin’s biggest hit songs “Respect,” and he was outraged over a comment by President Trump that the singer worked for him as an entertainer. Sharpton added, “Aretha took orders from no one but God.”

Sharpton will have two hours a week to spew and amplify race card propaganda designed to slam President Trump and his supporters.

Sharpton is not the only weekend Trump basher on MSNBC. Joy Reid, host of “AM Joy” on Sunday mornings, consistently slams the president. She frequently advances her anti-Trump agenda by inviting some of the biggest critics of President Trump on the show, including California Rep. Maxine Waters. Reid gave Waters a platform to defend her rally speech that encouraged people to harass Trump administration officials in public.

During the segment, Reid made Waters the victim because her calls to intimidate President Trump’s team were criticized by the president, along with Democrat Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

No, Global Warming Isn’t the End of the World. Here’s Why.

Environmentalist doomsayers are back again, trying to frighten Americans into radically altering the American economy, supposedly to save the earth.

This week’s Armaggedon proclamation came courtesy of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which released a much-ballyhooed report suggesting that a 2 degree Celsius change in global temperature by 2040 would result in catastrophe. The New York Times quickly amped up the panic, reporting the possibility of “a world of worsening food shortages and wildfires, and a mass die-off of coral reefs as soon as 2040 — a period well within the lifetime of much of the global population.” . . .

There are just a few problems with the reporting on the IPCC report. First off, the actual headline should have been that the IPCC had revised downward its estimate of impending doom since the IPCC’s AR5 report in 2014: according to the report itself, scientists agree that the “remaining carbon budget for 1.5 degrees Celsius or 2 degrees Celsius would be larger than the estimates at the time of the AR5.”

Then there’s the question of how much damage will actually be done. While the report states with high confidence that more environmental damage will occur at 2 degrees Celsius than 1.5 degrees Celsius, the report is far less confident about the specific damage that will occur by 2040. And the predicted damage isn’t actually catastrophic. Species loss and coral reef bleaching are certainly bad things. But there’s no actual prediction of mass death or hellfire.

So, here’s the real question: even if you believe that environmental consequences from climate change are worth worrying about, we have to determine when intervention is worse than non-intervention. After all, the IPCC is calling for a radical revision of the capitalist system – a system that has raised half the world’s population from abject poverty in the last three decades. Obama Had a Secret Plan in Case Trump Didn’t Accept 2016 Election Results

By Daily Wire. Former President Barack Obama had a secret plan in place for what his administration would do if then-candidate Donald Trump lost the 2016 election to Hillary Clinton and refused to accept the results.

Trump warned on the campaign trail that the election could be “rigged,” a notion that Obama scoffed at, saying, there’s “no serious person out there who would suggest somehow that you could even rig America’s elections.” . . .

Obama’s Trump Plan Revealed

By The Intelligencer. The existence of the postelection plan has not been previously reported. A July 2017 op-ed by Obama’s chief of staff, Denis McDonough, refers to Obama directing his staff to “prepare possible responses” to claims of Russian interference in the election.

Psaki said the plan was one of a larger set of “red-teaming” conversations to address how the White House should respond to postelection scenarios that did not have any historical precedent. “There was recognition that we had a Democratic president who was quite popular but also divisive for a portion of the population,” she said. “For them, just having him say the election was legitimate was not going to be enough. We didn’t spend a lot of time theorizing about the worst thing that could happen — this isn’t a science-fiction movie. It was more about the country being incredibly divided and Trump’s supporters being angry. Would there be protesting? I don’t want to say violence, because we didn’t talk about that as I recall.”

Trump’s blurring of the lines between the illegal, the unfair, and the merely unfavorable has continued with his rhetoric around the ongoing probe into his campaign, which he has called a “hoax,” “one of the great scandals in the history of our country,” and “truly a cancer in our country.” He has described Robert Mueller’s investigation as “illegal” and a “Witch Hunt … in search of a crime … not allowed under the LAW!” (Read more from “Obama’s Trump Plan Revealed” HERE)
