PANTS ON FIRE: Snopes Exposed as ‘Sneaky Liar’ for Misleading Bible Story

A variety of people, ranging from political centrists to conservatives, have increasingly looked with skepticism on the supposedly unbiased “fact-checkers” at Snopes, as the outlet has long displayed a decidedly left-leaning bias in its pronouncements of what is true and false.

The suspicion that Snopes has a heavy liberal bias just received a significant boost in the case of the outlet’s take on California Assembly Bill 2943. The law, currently working its way through the state legislature, would prohibit “sexual orientation change efforts” — referred to by the left as “gay conversion therapy” — on any resident in the state by any other resident if any sort of monetary transaction or exchange of goods or services is involved. . .

As noted by Snopes, the bill’s opponents argue a literal and logical reading of the bill would lead one to believe that the law would effectively prohibit the sale of Bibles in the state, as the Holy Word of God obviously declares homosexuality to be a sin and urges individuals not to engage in such behavior.

Of course, Snopes dismissed that worry out of hand and declared it not just “false,” but “demonstrably and clearly false” as the bill makes no mention of the Bible, Christianity or any religion at all.

However, in a story exposing Snopes as a “sneaky liar” in regard to its coverage of the California bill, The Federalist pointed out the outlet was at best being disingenuous, and at worst outright lying with its assessment of the concerns surrounding the law. Indeed, the broad wording of the legislation would certainly lend itself to the worrisome interpretation. Judge Napolitano Says ‘No Question’ Democrats Tried to Frame President Trump

By The Daily Caller. Fox News senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano accused Democrats of trying to frame President Donald Trump, Tuesday on “Fox & Friends.”

“It looks like a brazen plot simply to frame the President of the United States,” said host Steve Doocy about the Russia probe.

“Yes, it does,” Napolitano replied. “It looks like it was commenced by his most virulent political enemies. Particularly Sid Blumenthal who’s sort of the fixer if you will, for Hillary Clinton and that branch of the Democratic Party.”

“There’s no question that the Democrats are behind a lot of this,” Napolitano added. (Read more from “Judge Napolitano Says ‘No Question’ Democrats Tried to Frame President Trump” HERE)

Judge Napolitano Wants Hillary Clinton Prosecuted for Committing ‘Serious Felonies’

By The Daily Caller. Fox News senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano said Thursday on “Fox & Friends” that Hillary Clinton needs to be held accountable for committing multiple felonies and should be put in prison.

“The evidence of Mrs. Clinton’s guilt of espionage, failure to safeguard state secrets, that’s the 22 or 23 top secret pieces of information that were on her private server. The failure to do that — the evidence of guilt is overwhelming,” Napolitano said.

“The statute of limitations is 10 years. It hasn’t run,” he added.

Napolitano said part of the reason Clinton has been able to escape prosecution is due to former FBI Director James Comey and his political agenda. (Read more from “Judge Napolitano Wants Hillary Clinton Prosecuted for Committing ‘Serious Felonies'” HERE)

Trump Shows French Pres. Macron How to Handle Rude Reporter, His Priceless Reaction Speaks Volumes

President Donald Trump declared that his “special relationship” with French President Emmanuel Macron is definitely “not fake news” as the two men met at the White House.

Macron echoed Trump’s sentiments, celebrating the friendship of the two leaders as they met at a formal state arrival ceremony Tuesday, exchanging compliments and raising eyebrows with their blooming “bromance.”

“Mr. President, they’re all saying what a great relationship we have,” Trump told Macron in front of reporters. “And they’re actually correct. It’s not fake news. Finally.”

The president continued, “We have a very special relationship, in fact I’ll get that little piece of dandruff off…we have to make him perfect, he is perfect.”

And though this is the first state visit of the Trump presidency, the two leaders appeared to pick up where they had left off when the French leader and his wife hosted the Trumps in France last year. Macron made some statements and listened in as reporters asked questions.

YETI Coolers Cuts Ties with NRA, so Its Competitor Brilliantly Does This.

By The Daily Wire. One of the secrets to being a successful business is knowing an opportunity when you see one, especially opportunities provided by your competitors’ blunders. On Sunday, YETI Coolers served up just such an opportunity and RTIC Coolers quickly took advantage.

The National Rifle Association Foundation said in a statement on Sunday that recently, without explanation, YETI informed the organization that it would no longer sell products with its charitable foundation:

Suddenly, without prior notice, YETI has declined to do business with The NRA Foundation saying they no longer wish to be an NRA vendor, and refused to say why. They will only say they will no longer sell products to The NRA Foundation. That certainly isn’t sportsmanlike. In fact, YETI should be ashamed. They have declined to continue helping America’s young people enjoy outdoor recreational activities. These activities enable them to appreciate America and enjoy our natural resources with wholesome and healthy outdoor recreational and educational programs.

Carter Charity Sued for Using Funds to Aide Terrorism

The nonprofit charity of former president Jimmy Carter has been sued for allegedly using taxpayer funds to provide material support to international terrorist groups in the Holy Land, in violation of federal law.

While the Trump administration has curbed funding to the Palestinian Authority for its support of terrorism, the Justice Department has filed to dismiss the lawsuit against the Carter Center, claiming it’s too expensive to prosecute, reported the Washington Free Beacon’s Adam Kredo.

The lawsuit by the Zionist Advocacy Center, which recently was unsealed, alleges that in 2015, the Carter Center received more than $30 million in taxpayer grants while hosting designated terrorists at is facilities and providing various forms of assistance to the Palestinian terror group Hamas and other known terror entities. . .

The government’s motion to dismiss acknowledges representatives of the Carter Center “have engaged in discussions and meetings with members of Hamas and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.”

But it argues “the primary purposes of these activities were to facilitate dialog between the Palestinian factions and to urge Hamas to recognize Israel’s right to exist, forgo violence, and accept previous peace agreements.” (Read more from “Carter Charity Sued for Using Funds to Aide Terrorism” HERE)

Green Beret Posts Horrifying Warning About Ultimate Outcome of Gun Control

As an active duty special forces soldier who’s fought in the world’s most decrepit hellholes, proud Green Beret and mixed martial arts fighter Tim Kennedy has a deep appreciation for the rights afforded to him as an American, including the right to bear arms.

Granted to every American citizen by the U.S. Constitution, this right now faces constant attacks by those who seek to subvert our freedom. In an Instagram post published Saturday, Kennedy explained why we must NEVER allow this to happen.

“This is why we need guns,” he explained in a post that depicted people from across the world being brutalized and oppressed by their own governments.

Gun control certainly worked for the likes of deceased Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, in that it allowed him to acquire the power needed to carry out the Holocaust and wage war against the rest of the civilized world. It didn’t take long for famed-student Emma Gonzalez, from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, to use Sunday’s massacre at a Tennessee Waffle House to blast the National Rifle Association and guns while advocating for more gun control.

James Woods’ Body Slam to ‘Honey Bunny’ Hillary Has the Internet Cheering … and a Little Scared

Woods seized on a book from New York Times political reporter Amy Chozick on Hillary Clinton’s failed presidential aspirations to blow the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee out of the water as convincingly as President Donald Trump did on the night of the election.

Clinton was quoted in the new book, “Chasing Hillary: Ten Years, Two Presidential Campaigns, and One Intact Glass Ceiling,” lamenting election night that “they were never going to let me be president.” . . .

“Your corruption was not a flesh wound, but a systemic rot of your entire being. YOU were never going to let you be president, because you are a greedy, lying grifter. You weren’t born a Clinton, but you took to being one like a duck to swamp water,” Woods tweeted, linking to a Fox News article on the book.

Woods’ tweet proved to be excellent fodder for all the “deplorables” who see Hillary as little more than evil reincarnated.

Gov’t Move to Stop Opioid Abuse Backfires in Horrifying Way… Hell on Earth

By Conservative Tribune. There has been much discussion in recent years about the crisis of opioid abuse, and while there is broad agreement that “something must be done,” there are innocent victims of a crackdown on opioid drugs that often go unnoticed.

According to the Cato Institute, those overlooked victims are hospitalized patients recovering from accidents or surgeries who are in serious pain, but are unable to receive necessary doses of powerful painkillers to ease their suffering.

Rather than being administered proper doses of opioid drugs, these patients are instead being treated with less effective drugs like acetaminophin, muscle relaxers and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, similar to what one could obtain over the counter at a local drug store.

In other words, while these people are wracked with excruciating pain and legitimately require the powerful opioid drugs to ease their pain, they are instead left suffering in a literal “hell on earth” due to government intrusion into the pharmaceutical market . . .

Making matters worse, the DEA’s cuts are fairly misguided, as the real problem of the “opioid crisis” isn’t the drugs themselves, but the results of an addiction to opioids. (Read more from “Gov’t Move to Stop Opioid Abuse Backfires in Horrifying Way… Hell on Earth” HERE)

Why Some Opioids Users Don’t Fear a Fatal Overdose

By U.S. News. A couple years ago, when local news agencies reported a spike in overdose deaths related to fentanyl in St. Paul, Minnesota, clinicians at an outpatient treatment clinic in that city saw an immediate effect.

“A dozen of our patients disappeared,” says Dr. Marvin Seppala, chief medical officer of the Minnesota-based Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation. “They’d been in treatment from six weeks to two years and were sober.” The patients dropped out of the program to try fentanyl, a synthetic opiate painkiller that was new to the area. “Nobody in their right mind would want to get near fentanyl, which is 50 to 100 times more powerful than morphine and up to 50 times stronger than heroin,” he says. “Our patients heard about fentanyl and thought, ‘I want to try that.’ They wanted to recapture the euphoric high they hadn’t felt since they’d started using.”

Luckily, Seppala says, none of these patients died during their relapses. Still, the anecdote helps explain why the deadly opioid epidemic is getting worse; the grim fact is that some people with opioid use disorder are drawn to substances they know might kill them – and not because they’re suicidal. The pull helps explain the growing death toll the opioid crisis is exacting. Every day, more than 115 people in the United States die of an opioid overdose, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse. More than 64,000 people died of drug overdose in the U.S. in 2016, and the lion’s share of those fatalities – more than 42,000 – involved opioids, a record number, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Opioid overdoses in recent years have claimed the lives of acclaimed actor Philip Seymour Hoffman and the musicians Prince and Tom Petty. Opioids include heroin and prescription medications such as hyrdrocodone, oxycodone, oxymorphone, morphine, codeine and fentanyl. Lately, authorities have seen carfentanil – which is typically used to tranquilize elephants and other large animals – show up on the street. Carfentanil is about 100 times more potent than fentanyl and 10,000 times stronger than morphine, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration.

The grim fact is that for many people with opioid use disorder, the lethality of a particular batch of drugs isn’t a deterrent – it’s an attraction, says Howard Samuels, chief executive officer of The Hills Treatment Center in Los Angeles. Samuels, 60, speaks from experience: He’s been in recovery from heroin addiction for more than 30 years.

“When I was on the streets of New York, when we heard a brand of heroin was causing people to overdose and killing them, we wanted that brand of heroin so badly,” Samuels says. “We thought the people who were dying didn’t know how to shoot it [properly]. I thought [overdosing] won’t happen to me.” This mindset is illogical, but it makes sense to someone struggling with substance use disorder, because denial is a hallmark of addiction, Samuels says. “It’s all about denial and rationalization,” he says. “I was shooting heroin and thought I was still in control. It was absolutely crazy.” (Read more from “Why Some Opioids Users Don’t Fear a Fatal Overdose” HERE)
