A newly surfaced video captures Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (D-Mich.) and other prominent Democrats in an unguarded moment, discussing their plans to protest President Donald Trump. The footage, which has sparked controversy, shows Dingell and her colleagues candidly strategizing about disrupting Trump’s appearances, revealing a level of animosity that many voters might find unsettling.

A video from a meeting at the Washtenaw County Democratic Party caught liberal politicians speaking candidly about ways they can protest Trump and his policies. The “Democratic Responses to Trump’s Attacks & Lessons Learned from 2024 MI House Races” meeting was intended to rally Democrats and coordinate efforts to counteract the Trump administration’s policies. However, Dingell openly spoke about tactics the party can use to oppose Trump and “every one of those damn conservative[s].”

“We need to make sure it’s in every one of those damn conservative, wherever they’re communicating, and we have to be the voices that are smart, targeted and effective, and fighting back. And the way we do it. We litigate. We legislate,” Dingell said. “We only need three votes, three Republican votes. Jackson-Hewitt Tax Services Allegedly Caught Handing Out Tax Filing Instructions to Illegal Aliens

With Tax Day a little more than two weeks away, Jackson-Hewitt Tax Services has been caught handing out flyers in New York City allegedly advising illegal migrants on how to get up to $14,000 in tax refunds from the IRS.

According to independent journalist Savanah Hernandez, the company’s representatives are handing out information outside the Roosevelt Hotel migrant shelter with tax filing tips showing illegal aliens how they can get thousands of dollars from the IRS based on how many children they claim to have.

Hernandez presented a flyer that seems to inform the migrants that they can get a $7,650 refund if they claim one child, $12,635 if they have two, and $14,255 for three children.

After Hernandez posted this video to X, Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) chief Elon Musk noted that this sort of fraud is costing America billions and serving to attract illegals to this country.

“IRS refund fraud payments are one of several means used by the Democratic Party to attract and retain illegal immigrants in the USA. That’s why they are so opposed to @DOGE stopping this!” Musk wrote.

Trump ‘Very Angry’ With Putin, Threatens Tariffs on All Russian Oil

US President Donald Trump said Sunday he was “very angry, pissed off” with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, NBC reported, marking a sharp change of tone as Washington seeks to end the war in Ukraine.

NBC’s Kristen Welker said Trump had called her to express his anger over Putin questioning Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s future as a leader — something that Trump himself has done.

Welker, on her NBC show “Meet The Press” on Sunday, quoted directly from an early-morning telephone conversation with the president.

Trump said that “if Russia and I are unable to make a deal on stopping the bloodshed in Ukraine, and if I think it was Russia’s fault” then he would impose “secondary tariffs on all oil coming out of Russia.”

On Thursday evening, Elon Musk and some of his Department of Government Efficiency team sat for an interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier on “Special Report.” The nerd dream team includes a former rocket scientist, a Houstonian who ran five successful businesses, and the billionaire co-founder of Airbnb.

Musk said he thinks the team can cut the federal deficit by $1 trillion within 130 days. He and the other DOGE engineers gave some eye-popping examples of how scam-ridden federal programs have become. . .

Musk told Baier the federal government was paying nearly $1 billion for an online national parks survey that resulted in no changes or other outcomes as a result of giving the survey. He said the survey should have cost $10,000.

‘The sheer amount of waste and fraud in the government. It is astonishing,” Musk said, noting that his team “routinely” finds billion-dollar wasteful payments.

DOGE’s Steve Davis told Baier that more than 15 million Social Security numbers are older than 120 yet marked in the system as “alive.” The oldest living American is 114, Musk noted — meaning those 15 million Social Security numbers are used for fraud. Columbia University Interim President Resigns, Just Days After Caving to Trump Administration Demands

Columbia University’s interim president resigned from her position at the embattled Ivy League Friday night, just days after she told the Trump administration she would implement a mask ban — while privately promising faculty she would not.

Katrina Armstrong was booted from her position after the prestige school’s board of trustees doubted her ability to lead negotiations with the Trump administration over the university’s $400 million in federal funding, sources told The Post.

The news of Armstrong’s resignation was first reported by the Wall Street Journal.

“The action taken by Columbia’s trustees today, especially in light of this week’s concerning revelations, is an important step toward advancing negotiations as set forth in the pre-conditional understanding reached last Friday between the University and the Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism,” the federal Department of Education said in a statement.

Armstrong’s resignation comes after the Trump White House called for a total ban on masks at campus protests as part of a sweeping list of reforms aimed at cracking down on rampant antisemitism. Idaho Legislature Widely Approves Child Sex Abuse Death Penalty Bill, Sending It to Governor

A bill to allow the death penalty for adults who sexually abuse children age 12 and younger in Idaho is headed to Idaho Gov. Brad Little for final consideration.

House Bill 380, cosponsored by Rep. Bruce Skaug, R-Nampa and House Assistant Majority Leader Josh Tanner, R-Eagle, would allow the death penalty in a new criminal charge the bill creates: Aggravated lewd conduct with children age 12 and younger.

The bill also would add mandatory minimum prison sentences for cases of aggravated lewd conduct with minors — which would only apply to abuse of children age 16 and below — that don’t meet the bill’s proposed criteria for death penalty eligibility.

The Idaho Legislature widely passed the bill this year. The Idaho Senate passed the bill Monday on a 30-5 vote, with opposition from three Senate Democrats and two Senate Republicans. Last week, the Idaho House unanimously passed the bill, with 63 votes in favor and seven lawmakers absent.

When the bill is transmitted to Gov. Brad Little, he has five days, excluding Sundays, to decide on it. He has three options: sign it into law, allow it to become law without his signature, or veto it. JD Vance Makes Historic Greenland Visit as Trump Pushes for U.S. Control of the Island

Vice President JD Vance is in Greenland this week, making the case for a U.S. takeover of the region, arguing that bringing the strategically located island under American control would strengthen national security and economic interests. This is the furthest North any senior White House leader has ever traveled on an official trip. Vance’s proposal highlights Greenland’s vital position in the Arctic, saying that with Greenland’s sovereignty, the territory would soon see the benefit of partnering with the U.S.

Delta Plane and Air Force Jet Nearly Crash Over DC Airport Two Months After Catastrophe

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating after a Delta Air Lines plane nearly crashed midair with a T-38 Air Force jet Friday near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), just months after a January collision at the airport claimed 67 lives.

Delta Air Lines Flight 2983, an Airbus A319 headed to Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP), departed its DCA gate at 2:55 p.m. local time and was cleared for takeoff around 3:15 p.m., the FAA and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) told Fox News Digital.

Meanwhile, four U.S. Air Force T-38 Talons were inbound to Arlington National Cemetery for a flyover, according to the FAA and U.S. Air Force.

The Delta aircraft received an “onboard alert” that another aircraft was nearby, and air traffic controllers issued corrective instructions to both aircraft, according to the FAA.

Tommy Valentine: Thousands of Christians Counter Satanist ‘Black Mass’ at the Kansas State Capitol

When a tiny band of self-proclaimed satanists announced they would hold a “black mass” in front of the Kansas State Capitol, they wanted to inflame Christians. And they did, but it was not with the type of fire they intended. They managed to galvanize thousands of Christians with the fire of the Holy Spirit.

Across the state, Catholics and their fellow Christians spent more time praying on Friday than they would have normally. Special masses and holy hours were held in Catholic churches in every corner of Kansas in reparation for the sacrilege planned at the Capitol.

Thousands gathered on the Capitol grounds to pray peacefully, outnumbering the handful of satanists by many orders of magnitude. So, when the satanists were screaming expletives at peaceful Christians, they didn’t look powerful or edgy. They looked rather pathetic.

Those outside were perhaps outnumbered by those indoors across the street where the real action was, at Assumption Catholic Church. The Kansas Catholic Conference announced a special holy hour followed by a real Mass as an answer to the black mass. By the time the holy hour began, the church was already completely full. Local Knights of Columbus members directed the ongoing stream of people to another church a mile away, which quickly filled to bursting.
