Second Failed Trump Assassin Charged

Ryan Wesley Routh, the second wannabe assassin of President Donald Trump during the 2024 election season — who is accused of trying to kill the president at his golf course in September — has been charged with attempted murder and terrorism by the state of Florida.

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier told Fox & Friends on Thursday that his office has finally secured a warrant and is charging Routh with attempted first-degree murder and terrorism after the former administration stonewalled Florida’s efforts to “pursue justice.”

“We want a justice system that is willing to pursue justice, no matter what party is in charge,” Uthmeier said. “Joe Biden and the Democrats did everything they could to drag their feet and refuse to cooperate with the state of Florida.”

“Under Attorney General Bondi and the Trump administration and our new FBI director, it’s been a breath of fresh air — very different. They’ve been transparent and cooperative,” the Florida Attorney General added.

Uthmeier also noted that the federal government has made their evidentiary folder available to his office, and that more evidence about the case will become public soon. (Read more from “Second Failed Trump Assassin Charged” HERE)

China Floats Possibility Of Killing More Americans In Response To Tariffs

Two bloggers linked to China’s government floated the idea of upping the flow of deadly fentanyl into the U.S. in retaliation to President Trump’s tariffs, CNBC’s Eunice Yoon reported Tuesday.

Both Niu Tanquin and a blogger known as Rabbit Chairman posted messages on Chinese social media suggesting the state was preparing to end cooperation with the U.S. on fentanyl, according to screenshots which Yoon posted to X.

The bloggers shared a set of virtually identical bullet points outlining six policy responses China was preparing to counter Trump’s tariffs. Among the points were plans to slap tariffs on US soybean imports, ban US poultry imports and ban US films in China.

How a ‘Coffee Nap’ Can Help You Feel More Rested — and the Exact Timing to Get the Most Out of It

Talk about a grounds-breaking strategy.

If you’re dragging your feet at 2 p.m., we’ve got a brew-tiful solution to your midday slump.

One buzzy sleep trick that’s been gathering steam is the coffee nap — and, while it sounds counterintuitive, some experts swear by it!

“A coffee nap — where you drink coffee right before a short nap — can be more effective than either coffee or napping alone,” nutritionist Nichola Ludlam-Raine told The Post on behalf of the European retailer Coffee Friend.

Here’s why it works: caffeine takes about 20 minutes to hit your system — right around the time your nap is ending — so you wake up with a double shot of energy.

“A short nap naturally reduces adenosine levels — the sleep-inducing chemical that makes you feel tired,” Ludlam-Raine explained. “By the time you wake up, the caffeine is starting to work, making you feel even more alert.” (Read more from “How a ‘Coffee Nap’ Can Help You Feel More Rested — and the Exact Timing to Get the Most Out of It” HERE)

Colorado Father Fights To Keep Government From Sterilizing His 14-Year-Old Son

After raising concerns about his then-13-year-old son taking puberty blockers and starting on a path to irreversible, experimental, and life-long medical interventions to “transition” into a girl, the Colorado government stripped father Robert Cameron of all rights to protect his child.

Colorado was able to do that because the child’s mother and Cameron’s ex-wife, Nancy Drake, used Colorado’s “affirmation only” legal structure to wage a war against Cameron through the courts. Drake, who joined forces with an activist therapist, has been able to use government force to push the now-14-year-old boy into the transition interventions which, if pursued in full, have the power to sterilize, reduce brain development, and cause bone density issues, among a host of other gruesome effects.

“My child is more important to me than whatever the court system may do to me. If my child needs to be saved, it’s my job as a parent to save him, and he needs to be saved right now. He needs to be saved from predation and manipulation,” Cameron told The Federalist. “I haven’t slept well in forever because I’m afraid for my child. I also see the adults preying on this child’s innocence. This all falls under the sexualization of children that we are engaging in as a society. That’s absolutely appalling. And I’m not even talking about the medical experiments we’re doing on children.”

In order to protect the identity of the minor child, The Federalist has given his parents pseudonyms, and removed other information that could lead to identifying him.

Cameron’s primary goal is to have his son be able to wait until he is 18 to make the decision, but Drake, who appears to have trigger-happy, extraordinarily litigious lawyers behind her, need the transition to start now, no questions asked — literally. House Passes Bill to Stop ‘Rogue’ and ‘Activist’ Judges Blocking President Trump’s Agenda

The House of Representatives passed a bill Wednesday to limit federal district judges’ ability to affect Trump administration policies on a national scale.

The No Rogue Rulings Act, led by Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., passed the House and limits district courts’ power to issue U.S.-wide injunctions, instead forcing them to focus their scope on the parties directly affected in most cases.

All but one Republican lawmaker voted for the bill, which passed 219 to 213. No Democrats voted in favor.

The Trump administration has faced more than 15 nationwide injunctions since the Republican commander-in-chief took office, targeting a wide range of President Donald Trump’s policies, from birthright citizenship reform to anti-diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts.

Issa himself was confident the bill would pass, telling Fox News Digital on Tuesday morning, “We’ve got the votes.” (Read more from “House Passes Bill to Stop ‘Rogue’ and ‘Activist’ Judges Blocking President Trump’s Agenda” HERE)

Dow Surges 2,600 as Stocks Soar After Trump Pauses Some Tariffs

Trump said he would temporarily back off on most of his global tariffs, as investors had so desperately hoped he would.

The S&P 500 was up 8% in afternoon trading and heading toward one of its best days in decades. It had been down earlier in the morning amid worries about whether Trump’s trade war would drag the global economy into a recession. But then came the posting on social media from Trump that investors worldwide had been waiting and wishing for.

“I have authorized a 90 day PAUSE,” Trump said, after recognizing the more than 75 countries that he said have been negotiating on trade and had not retaliated against his latest increase in tariffs. (Read more from “Dow Surges 2,600 as Stocks Soar After Trump Pauses Some Tariffs” HERE)

Trump’s Reality-Driven U-Turn

. . .Last week, President Trump dropped an economic neutron bomb by declaring tariffs on virtually every country on the planet – tariffs based not on reciprocal tariff rates, but on trade deficits. After an initial stock dump of approximately 10% and then days of the markets bouncing up and down like a hyperactive corgi, President Trump finally announced that he would be undoing his threatened tariff regime with regard to our allies.

In a statement posted to TruthSocial, he said:

Based on the lack of respect that China has shown to the World’s Markets, I am hereby raising the Tariff charged to China by the United States of America to 125%, effective immediately. At some point, hopefully in the near future, China will realize that the days of ripping off the U.S.A., and other Countries, is no longer sustainable or acceptable.

Conversely, and based on the fact that more than 75 Countries have called Representatives of the United States, including the Departments of Commerce, Treasury, and the USTR, to negotiate a solution to the subjects being discussed relative to Trade, Trade Barriers, Tariffs, Currency Manipulation, and Non Monetary Tariffs, and that these Countries have not, at my strong suggestion, retaliated in any way, shape, or form against the United States, I have authorized a 90 day PAUSE, and a substantially lowered Reciprocal Tariff during this period, of 10%, also effective immediately. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

This was reality setting in, and President Trump respecting it. As I wrote last week, “Now, Trump is unlikely to carry his policies to their full fruition if markets respond as expected. He is too canny a politician for that.”

Pete Hegseth Says Panama Accepted Agreement on Warship Canal Passage After China Accused the U.S. of ‘Blackmail’

U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said that the nation of Panama agreed to allow warship passage through the canal after Chinese officials accused the U.S. of trying to use blackmail to further its interests.

Hegseth said that the two nations had signed a memorandum of understanding to allow U.S. warships to pass through the canal without paying a toll. The agreement for security cooperation also includes auxiliary vessels.

When asked about the accusation, Hegseth fired back at China.

“I don’t know anything about blackmail,” he responded, “but I do know about strength, peace through strength, and deterrence.”

On Wednesday a Chinese official had more fiery rhetoric against the U.S. as a trade war escalated between President Donald Trump and the communist-governed nation.

“Everyone knows who wants to control the Panama Canal,” said ministry spokesperson Lin Jian to reporters. “The U.S. side should take a look in the mirror to see who really threatens the sovereignty, security, and development of other countries.” (Read more from “Pete Hegseth Says Panama Accepted Agreement on Warship Canal Passage After China Accused the U.S. of ‘Blackmail’” HERE)

How China Has Amped up Its Factories and Is Threatening to Crush U.S. Industry With a New ‘Tsunami’ of Cheap Products

A $1.9 trillion “tsunami” is headed for American industry — and it’s coming from China.

The Communist country of 1.3 billion people has shifted that much cash into amping up its factories in just four years in an effort to overwhelm manufacturers around the world with an influx of cheap goods.

President Trump’s 125% tariff on all Chinese imports into the US — which he announced Wednesday as he paused steep duties on most other countries — is actually just the latest protective measure against China.

The European Union, Brazil, Mexico and Thailand have either imposed new tariffs in the last few months, or are considering such measures to protect their own industries from Chinese imports.

“The tsunami is coming for everyone,” said Katherine Tai, trade representative for former President Joe Biden, told The New York Times. (Read more from “How China Has Amped up Its Factories and Is Threatening to Crush U.S. Industry With a New ‘Tsunami’ of Cheap Products” HERE)
