NYT Uses Anonymous Terrorist Sources For Latest Deep State Hit On Tulsi Gabbard

The New York Times is preparing to publish a deep state hit piece on President Donald Trump’s nominee for Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard. The piece is purportedly based on National Security Agency (NSA) surveillance of a pair of anonymous terrorists.

Two people familiar with the matter told The Federalist the Times will accuse Gabbard, a former Democrat congresswoman from Hawaii, of meeting with then-Lebanese Hezbollah Supreme Leader Hassan Nasrallah on a Middle East trip in 2017. The paper of “all the news that’s fit to print” is expected to run the deep state smear against Gabbard as early as Tuesday afternoon, two days before a confirmation hearing before the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Bernard Hudson, who was director of counterterrorism at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in 2016 and 2017, called the story by the Times, “one of the most bizarre allegations against a serving member of the U.S. military I have ever heard.”

“It strains credulity at every level,” Hudson told The Federalist.

“This is the kind of cheap skullduggery for which the Deep State has become infamous with the American people,” said Dave Reaboi, a national security expert and fellow at the Claremont Institute. “We entrust these people with tremendous power to operate in the shadows and keep secrets from us, imagining that they are professionals dedicated to safeguarding our national security. Instead, many of the IC’s senior leadership have undermined the faith we placed in them, using the capabilities their profession affords them to make war on their domestic political opponents.” (Read more from “NYT Uses Anonymous Terrorist Sources For Latest Deep State Hit On Tulsi Gabbard” HERE)

ICE to Target Illegals in Aurora, Colorado Next

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is set to launch expanded, targeted operations in more major U.S. cities in the coming days, including Aurora, Colorado, according to reports.

For one of its next efforts, ICE is preparing to step up its presence in Aurora after focusing on Chicago and New York City, according to NBC News.

Aurora has become a central location in the fight against the dangerous Venezuelan street gang named Tren de Argua after gang members had taken over several Aurora apartment complexes and forced residents to pay their rent to the gang instead of to the owners of the buildings.

Tren de Argua exploded in size in the U.S. after Joe Biden began accepting waves of Venezuelans without any vetting, allowing untold thousands of gang members to flood the country.

The situation became so blatant in Aurora that armed gang members were seen in a viral video rampaging through the hallways of the complexes and intimidating residents. (Read more from “ICE to Target Illegals in Aurora, Colorado Next” HERE)

President Trump Announces US Tech Giant in Talks to Acquire TikTok

President Donald Trump on Monday said Microsoft was in talks to acquire TikTok, shortly after the social media app went dark last week. He further suggested that he would like to see a bidding war over the popular platform.

Trump previously said that he was in discussions with several parties about a potential acquisition of TikTok, which has about 170 million American users, and expects to make a decision on the app’s future within the next 30 days, Reuters reported.

The app was briefly taken offline just before a law, which required ByteDance to either sell it or face a ban, took effect on Jan. 19. However, after taking office on Jan. 20, Trump signed an executive order delaying the enforcement of the law by 75 days. “She doesn’t like Trump either, but I don’t think their friendship is based on that. I think they just have similar senses of humor,” the source said.

Atkins, a 46-year-old bakery owner, was arrested Friday on suspicion of making threats against Trump on social media. He was busted during a traffic stop in West Palm Beach — where he also was found with three baggies of cocaine in his pocket, cops said. CLEANING HOUSE: Trump DOJ Fires More Than a Dozen Officials Who Worked With Ex-Special Counsel Jack Smith

The Justice Department has fired more than a dozen officials involved in former special counsel Jack Smith’s prosecution of President Trump, The Post has confirmed.

Acting Attorney General James McHenry ordered the terminations because he believed the officials could not be trusted in “faithfully implementing the president’s agenda,” a DOJ official said in a statement to The Post.

“Today, Acting Attorney General James McHenry terminated the employment of a number of DOJ officials who played a significant role in prosecuting President Trump,” the statement read. “In light of their actions, the Acting Attorney General does not trust these officials to assist in faithfully implementing the President’s agenda.”

The DOJ official argued that the firings are in line with the Trump administration’s “mission of ending the weaponization of government.”

McHenry notified the DOJ officials — who have not yet been identified — of their firings in a letter. It’s unclear exactly how many officials received termination letters from McHenry. Justice Department Launches ‘Special Project’ to Investigate J6 Prosecutors

The Justice Department under President Donald Trump has launched an investigation into prosecutors who handled the criminal cases against defendants convicted of participating in the January 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol building.

Multiple sources told CNN they had seen an internal memo indicating the president’s intention to investigate those involved in the prosecution efforts against the Jan. 6 defendants.

Ed Martin, the interim US attorney in Washington, DC, has launched an investigation into prosecutors who brought obstruction charges under US Code 1512(c) against some rioters that were ultimately tossed because of a Supreme Court decision last summer.

Referring to the effort as a “special project,” Martin wrote in the memo issued Monday that the attorneys should hand over “all information you have related to the use of 1512 charges, including all files, documents, notes, emails, and other information” to two of the office’s long-term prosecutors who must submit a report on the probe by Friday.

On his first day in office, Trump issued pardons to about 1,500 of those convicted of offenses related to the riot. The move sparked a major league meltdown on the left. (Read more from “Justice Department Launches ‘Special Project’ to Investigate J6 Prosecutors” HERE)
