Report: Trump Did More to Free Hostages, Reach Ceasefire Than Biden Did All Year

President-elect Donald Trump is reportedly being praised by Arab officials for doing more to move Israel and Hamas closer to a hostage and ceasefire deal than President Joe Biden has done in more than a year since the last truce.

Trump warned Hamas at the beginning of December that there would be “ALL HELL TO PAY” if they did not release all 100 of the remaining hostages, including seven Americans (three of whom are alive) by his Inauguration.

Hamas began to show flexibility, then retreated. But Trump’s future Mideast envoys fanned out across the region, and Trump apparently pressured Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to show greater flexibility as well.

The Times of Israel reported Tuesday:

A “tense” weekend meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and incoming Mideast envoy Steve Witkoff led to a breakthrough in the hostage negotiations, with the top aide to US President-elect Donald Trump doing more to sway the premier in a single sit-down than outgoing President Joe Biden did all year, two Arab officials told The Times of Israel on Tuesday.

During the 42-day first phase, 33 of the remaining women, children, elderly and severely ill hostages will be released in exchange for roughly 1,000 Palestinian security prisoners. Israel will partially withdraw from Gaza, while helping facilitate the entry of 600 trucks of humanitarian aid into the Strip each day.

The second stage will see the release of the remaining living hostages and conclude with a declaration of a permanent end to hostilities. The third phase will see the release of bodies still held by Hamas.

JD Vance Walks Back President Trump’s Promise to Pardon All J6ers

By New York Post. Vice President-elect JD Vance said that President-elect Donald Trump will issue pardons for peaceful protesters on Jan. 6, 2021 — but not violent rioters.

Vance said that there were scores of individuals who “were prosecuted unfairly” after the Jan. 6 ransacking of the Capitol and that the Trump administration will “rectify that.”

“If you protested peacefully on January the 6th, and you’ve had Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice treat you like a gang member, you should be pardoned,” Vance, 40, told “Fox News Sunday” about the line Trump will draw.

“If you committed violence on that day, obviously you shouldn’t be pardoned. And there’s a little bit of a gray area there. But we’re very much committed to seeing the equal administration of law.”

Vance later responded to backlash over his comments — with some accusing him of “walking back” promises to pardon people who were at the Capitol on Jan. 6. (Read more from “JD Vance Walks Back President Trump’s Promise to Pardon All J6ers” HERE)

‘We Will Raise Hell’: MAGA Activists ‘Swearing Vengeance on J.D. Vance’ for New ‘Betrayal’

By Raw Story. Donald Trump’s number two has found himself to be the number one target of several faithful members of the MAGA movement, including Jan. 6 rioters. . .

That comment struck a chord with numerous Trump supporters, including Philip Anderson, a Texas man who was arrested on felony and misdemeanor charges connected to the riot.

“Telling your own supporters that the election was stolen and then not giving them a pardon or commutation after you sent them into what you call a ‘fedsurrection’ and ‘trap’ is a betrayal,” he wrote Sunday. “All of the J6 defendants must be saved. JD Vance is wrong and I hope Trump will save his own supporters.”

Another Jan. 6 defendant, Samuel Fisher, (aka Brad Holiday ), replied to Anderson, saying, “He better or we will raise hell for the rest of our lives.” . . .

“J6 defendants and family members are swearing vengeance on JD Vance if all of the J6 defendants are not saved. And they are right to do it,” he said on X. (Read more from “‘We Will Raise Hell’: MAGA Activists ‘Swearing Vengeance on J.D. Vance’ for New ‘Betrayal’” HERE)

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott Defies Federal Government, Orders Flags to Fly At Full Staff for Trump Inauguration

By New York Post. Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott flouted federal orders Monday and announced that flags in the Lone Star State will be flown at full-staff for President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration next week.

Abbott’s declaration comes two weeks after President Biden ordered flags be flown at half-staff for 30 days to honor former President Jimmy Carter, who died at the age of 100 on Dec. 29.

“Today, I ordered flags raised to full-staff at the Texas Capitol & state buildings for President Trump’s inauguration,” Abbott wrote on X. “While we honor President Carter’s service, we also celebrate an incoming President & our bright future.”

In a lengthier statement, Abbott argued that the US flag should be displayed “especially on… Inauguration Day, January 20.”

Trump’s inauguration as the 47th president falls within the 30-day mourning period, which is due to end Jan. 28. (Read more from “Texas Gov. Greg Abbott Defies Federal Government, Orders Flags to Fly At Full Staff for Trump Inauguration” HERE)

Suspected Migrant Gang Members Get Dose of Justice After Months of Mayhem

Nine suspected members of the violent Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua (TdA) were charged following a violent December home invasion, kidnapping and robbery in Aurora, Colorado.

The apartment complex gained widespread national media attention over claims it had been taken over by the Venezuelan gang earlier this year.

The Aurora, Colorado Police Department announced the nine arrests on Monday in the armed home invasion and kidnapping that left two victims seriously injured. . .

The suspects face varying charges, including second-degree kidnapping, first-degree assault, aggravated robbery, second-degree burglary, extortion and menacing, the department said.

Serpa-Acosta was previously wanted on an active felony warrant for first-degree burglary and menacing with a deadly weapon, police said. His warrant stemmed from Aug. 18, 2024, when a security camera captured Serpa-Acosta and five other armed men knocking on apartment doors at The Edge at Lowry about 10 minutes before a fatal shooting. Recall Effort Against Newsom Underway in California Following Alleged Mishandling of LA Fires

A recall attempt to knock California Gov. Gavin Newsom out of office is underway as he faces sharp criticism for his handling of the Los Angeles wildfires – with opponents labeling his leadership as a “series of catastrophic failures.”

Organizers against Newsom vowed to file papers in the next two weeks in hopes of jumpstarting the process that could lead to the Democrat’s ouster in the middle of his second term in the governor’s mansion.

The state leader – along with Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass – is fighting for his political life as the wildfires have torched more than 40,000 acres, destroyed more than 12,000 structures and killed at least 24 people.

“Under the reign of Governor Newsom, living in California has become impossible for average people through years of poor policies which have increased the costs of living, increased crime, increased drug use and homelessness, increased the cost of burden [sic] on small businesses and communities, while decreasing our professional standards, education standards, the disappearance of billions of taxpayers’ dollars to failed pet programs, and our public services,” one recall organizer, Randy Economy, said in a statement.

“This was most recently demonstrated by the woefully unprepared and incompetent response to the fires currently ravaging the Los Angeles area.” (Read more from “Recall Effort Against Newsom Underway in California Following Alleged Mishandling of LA Fires” HERE)

Wife of Matthew Livelsberger — Green Beret Involved in Las Vegas Bombing — Speaks Out, Hits Rumors and Lies

The wife of Army Master Sgt. Matthew Livelsberger — the Green Beret involved in the Las Vegas Tesla Cybertruck bombing on New Year’s Day — broke her silence on Sunday evening in a statement put out by a fellow Green Beret veteran.

In her statement, she hit back against what she says has been misinformation and lies spread about her and Livelsberger, such as that they were having marital problems and that she kicked him out of their home before Christmas.

She specifically slammed a rumor spread by the Chief of Staff of the Army’s public affairs officer, Lt. Col. Dave Butler, that their newborn daughter’s DNA did not match Livelsberger’s.

Matt Tardio, host of Speak the Truth podcast, posted the statement from Livelsberger’s wife, Jennifer Davis, on his X account. . .

Podcaster Shawn Ryan on his show said Butler had said in a private conversation that Livelsberger’s child’s DNA did not match his. Ryan’s lawyer, Tim Parlatore, later described his conversation with Butler in detail, and called it “one of the weirdest conversations that I’ve ever had with a public affairs officer.” (Read more from “Wife of Matthew Livelsberger — Green Beret Involved in Las Vegas Bombing — Speaks Out, Hits Rumors and Lies” HERE)

A Parental Rights Law Is Now on the Books in This State

Last week, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine (R) quietly signed a bill into law that requires educators to keep parents informed about their children’s “gender identities” and allow parents to opt their children out of lessons about sexuality.

Ohio’s H.B. 8 has been compared to Florida’s Parental Rights in Education law, dubbed by left-wing activists as the “Don’t Say Gay” law. The bill restricts which sex and gender lessons can be taught in schools and for specific grade levels.

According to The Hill, DeWine said that LGBTQ+ students are “welcome in Ohio, welcome in our schools and we want to protect them.”

“The basis of it, for me, is that if you’re a parent, you want to be informed about what’s going on in your child’s life. Parents are the best teachers — first teachers are the best teachers. It’s very, very important. I think that’s what was behind that,” he explained. (Read more from “A Parental Rights Law Is Now on the Books in This State” HERE)

Lawsuit Filed Casting Blame for Deadly Eaton Fire in Los Angeles: ‘Failure to De-Energize’

A California law firm filed a complaint against the Southern California Edison Company (SCE) on Monday, accusing the energy company of starting the Eaton Fire.

In a statement, Bridgford, Gleason & Artinian said that it believes the Eaton Fire “was ignited because of SCE’s failure to de-energize its overhead wires which traverse Eaton Canyon.”

The firm said that it came to the conclusion after meeting with consultants, reviewing SCE’s public statements, analyzing video evidence of the Eaton Fire’s origin and its own investigation.

The fire reportedly began “despite a red flag PDS wind warning issued by the national weather service the day before the ignition of the fire.”

“Our hearts go out to the many victims of this and the other Los Angeles fires,” the firm said. (Read more from “Lawsuit Filed Casting Blame for Deadly Eaton Fire in Los Angeles: ‘Failure to De-Energize’” HERE)

Arizona’s Attorney General Vows to Continue Jack Smith’s Lawfare

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes, a Democrat, has requested President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice hand over former Special Counsel Jack Smith’s case files against incoming President Donald Trump and others for ongoing prosecution.

“I am writing to request the Department of Justice disclose to my office its case file inSpecial Counsel’s investigation and prosecution relating to the 2020 presidential election in Washington, D.C. (Election Case) as authorized by a recent order issued by the Maricopa CountySuperior Court. Early in my term as Arizona’s Attorney General, my office sought access toSpecial Counsel’s materials in its case. Then, Special Counsel was not ready or able to share any materials,” Mayes wrote in a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland Monday. “Today, your office does not have an active case and is preparing to release SpecialCounsel’s report in the Election Case. Given these changed circumstances, I am revisiting my office’s earlier request.”

“Those who tried to subvert democracy in 2020 must be held accountable,” Mayes continued. “I am requesting you disclose to my office Special Counsel’s entire file, including the final report in the Election Case to the extent allowable by law and consistent with the Superior Court’s Order.”

Zuckerberg’s Rebrand Of Facebook’s Role In Biden Censorship Scheme Refuted In Facebook Files

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is on a mission to give Facebook’s key role in the censorship industrial complex a makeover, but his attempts to save face one alleged fact-checking policy change and tampon at a time flounder in the face of the evidence.

The Silicon Valley bro’s attempt to drastically shift Facebook away from the radical policies that have defined its presence in the Big Tech world while the second Trump administration takes over the federal government is no coincidence. Zuckerberg even took a page out of President Donald Trump’s playbook by going on the number one podcast in the world, “The Joe Rogan Experience,” to explain the alleged end to the Big Tech company’s partisan “fact-checking” program he announced earlier this month.

One of the most newsworthy moments of the episode occurred when Zuckerberg admitted to host Joe Rogan that members of the Biden administration “would call up our team and like scream at them and curse” demanding censorship of content, including memes, that it claimed undermined the regime’s Covid-19 vaccine agenda.

According to the Facebook founder, the employees on Meta’s censorship team rejected and even pushed back on the Democrat regime’s pressure to remove posts and “take down humor and satire.”

“It basically just got to this point where we were like ‘No, we’re not going to take down things that are true. That’s ridiculous,’” Zuckerberg said. (Read more from “Zuckerberg’s Rebrand Of Facebook’s Role In Biden Censorship Scheme Refuted In Facebook Files” HERE)
