News Outlet Tied To First Trump Impeachment Exposed For Taking Huge Funding From State Department

The Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), a foreign news organization instrumental in the first impeachment of President-elect Donald Trump, is primarily funded by the U.S. State Department, according to an investigation by Drop Site News.

OCCRP’s reporting on Rudy Giuliani’s business activities in Ukraine was cited four times in the whistleblower complaint that led to Trump’s impeachment. The organization also collaborates with over 50 major media outlets, including The New York Times and The Washington Post, Drop Site News reported

U.S. taxpayers have funded 52% of OCCRP’s expenditures between 2013 and 2024, and at least $47 million since its founding in 2008, according to the outlet. The organization’s largest single financial backer is the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), a State Department subsidiary.

OCCRP’s board defended its funding in a statement to Drop Site News, emphasizing previous transparency about its financial backers.

“We understand that reasonable people may believe that’s a bad idea, especially since it is not the norm in journalism in the United States (although government support of journalism is not uncommon in Europe and elsewhere). This was thoroughly discussed years ago when OCCRP was founded,” the board wrote. Texas Governor Threatens to Defund Children’s Hospital Over Doctor’s Viral TikTok

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott threatened last week to revoke government funding from a children’s hospital in response to a Houston doctor’s viral TikTok advising patients to skip a citizenship question on intake forms.

Abbott issued an executive order in early August requiring hospitals that take Medicaid or Children’s Health Insurance Plan to ask patients “Are you a U.S. citizen?” on specific intake forms. The new order went into effect on Nov. 1.

Dr. Tony Pastor, a cardiologist at Texas Children’s Hospital and assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, took to TikTok on Nov. 11 to let his audience know that he and other staff at the hospital were told that people did not have to answer the new question, despite the executive order. . .

Abbott responded in an accusatory Nov. 24 X post, warning the hospital that it could lose its funding because of Pastor’s comments.

“Hey Texas Children’s Hospital & Baylor College of Medicine this doctor is putting your Medicaid & Medicare funding at risk. [You] better think twice & have crystal clear records,” Abbott wrote.

Democrat Senator Blasts Joe Biden’s Pardon of Son

This week, Democrat Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet blasted President Joe Biden for pardoning his son, Hunter Biden.

“President Biden’s decision put personal interest ahead of duty and further erodes Americans’ faith that the justice system is fair and equal for all,” Bennet posted on X.

As Townhall covered, with just weeks left in office, Joe Biden pardoned Hunter Biden, though he initially promised he would not do so.

“Today, I signed a pardon for my son Hunter,” Biden wrote in a statement. “From the day I took office, I said I would not interfere with the Justice Department’s decision-making, and I kept my word even as I have watched my son being selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted.”

‘National Punchline’: Major State Extends Ballot-Counting From November Election to December!

While most political strategists and campaign operatives are finally enjoying a post-election repose, making their favorite Thanksgiving fixings and preparing to deck the halls, California’s election officials and party leaders are still on the job.

Once again this year, California is the last state to finish its vote-counting, thanks to a set of vote-by-mail election laws the Democratic Party’s supermajority in the state legislature passed beginning last decade – purportedly to encourage more voter participation.

But making it easier to vote has come with a cost: The state is now a national punchline for election inefficiency, and critics assail it as rife for fraud. As of Tuesday night, two fiercely contested congressional races are hanging in the balance, and three state Assembly races remain too close to call.

“We’re still working,” lamented Jessica Millan Patterson, who chairs the California Republican Party. “Not just as Republicans, but as Californians, it’s embarrassing that we’re the last state in the nation. We’re the home of Silicon Valley, and we can do better. Florida has their elections tabulated in three hours.”

Yet three weeks after the election, there are still 109,485 votes to count across 58 counties, according to California Secretary of State Shirley Weber. And even when all the votes are counted, they won’t be certified until mid-December. Liberal Women Are Undergoing Sterilization and Blaming Trump: ‘Election Tied My Hands’

Several liberal women have gotten sterilized or plan to, blaming their decision to become infertile on Donald Trump winning the 2024 presidential election.

In interviews with Newsweek, the women, including an OnlyFans model, said they are afraid of their “reproductive rights” being taken away once Trump becomes president again. Trump has repeatedly said he believes abortion is a states issue, although his left-wing opponents have baselessly claimed that he will ban abortion nationwide.

Eden Ixora, 25, of Florida, who reportedly creates content for OnlyFans, said, “the idea of getting pregnant is worse than death.” She told the outlet she is making plans to have a bilateral salpingectomy, which is a procedure to have both of her fallopian tubes removed.

“For me it was a call to action. A need to get this locked in so I don’t have to live in fear that at any moment some random guy can completely destroy my life,” Ixora said.

“For me the idea of getting pregnant is worse than death. I’m doing what I can to protect my right to choose. I am choosing me,” she added. (Read more from “Liberal Women Are Undergoing Sterilization and Blaming Trump: ‘Election Tied My Hands’” HERE)

‘Should Be Disqualified’: Conservatives Come Out Against Trump’s DEA Pick Over What He Did During COVID

Several conservatives expressed concerns Sunday over President-elect Donald Trump’s announcement of Republican Florida sheriff Chad Chronister to be administrator of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

Trump revealed Saturday in a statement that he will nominate Chronister to lead the DEA in his second administration, stating that the Florida sheriff will work with his attorney general pick, Pam Bondi, “to secure the Border, stop the flow of Fentanyl, and other Illegal Drugs, across the Southern Border.” While Chronister received praise from colleagues and others after the initial announcement, some Republicans have begun to fire back due to his actions during the COVID-19 lockdown.

In March 2020, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office released a press statement revealing that they had arrested local Tampa Bay church pastor Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne on two second-degree misdemeanors for unlawful assembly and violation of public health emergency rules. In a post on X from the Libertarian Party of Mississippi, the group called out Chronister’s decision to arrest Howard-Browne, leading Republican Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie to respond as well.

“I’m going to call ‘em like I see ‘em. Trump’s nominee for head of DEA should be disqualified for ordering the arrest a pastor who defied COVID lockdowns,” Massie wrote on X.

Trump-Hating Celebrity’s New Home Reportedly Wrecked By Flood After Fleeing America

Former talk show host Ellen DeGeneres’s new home in South West England was wrecked by floodwaters days after DeGeneres fled the United States after President-elect Donald Trump defeated his Democratic opponent.

DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi immediately decided to “get the hell out” of the U.S. when Trump won, landing on a multi-million-pound farmhouse in the Cotswolds, TMZ reported. The 66-year-old celebrity was reportedly met with home devastation when torrential rains ravaged the area, according to the DailyMail.

Storm Bert left DeGeneres’s 43-acre property swamped in floodwater, the outlet reported. Heavy rain and 80-mph winds reportedly caused the tributary of the River Thames, which runs alongside her new property, to burst.

Roads nearby DeGeneres’s new home were reportedly inaccessible due to floods as deep as five feet, according to the outlet, trapping residents in their homes. (Read more from “Trump-Hating Celebrity’s New Home Reportedly Wrecked By Flood After Fleeing America” HERE)

Trump: Canada’s Trudeau Makes ‘Commitment’ To U.S. During Mar-A-Lago Meeting

President-elect Donald Trump said on Saturday that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau committed to working with the U.S. on issues that Trump raised earlier this week.

Trump said that his meeting with Trudeau at Mar-a-Lago was “very productive” as the two leaders “discussed many important topics that will require both Countries to work together to address, like the Fentanyl and Drug Crisis that has decimated so many lives as a result of Illegal Immigration, Fair Trade Deals that do not jeopardize American Workers, and the massive Trade Deficit the U.S. has with Canada.”

“I made it very clear that the United States will no longer sit idly by as our Citizens become victims to the scourge of this Drug Epidemic, caused mainly by the Drug Cartels, and Fentanyl pouring in from China,” Trump continued. “Too much death and hardship! Prime Minister Trudeau has made a commitment to work with us to end this terrible devastation of U.S. Families.”

He said that they also spoke about energy, trade, and the Arctic — issues that he said he would address starting on his first day back in office. (Read more from “Trump: Canada’s Trudeau Makes ‘Commitment’ To U.S. During Mar-A-Lago Meeting” HERE)

Trump’s Pick for FBI Director Sparks Strong Reactions From Pundits and Lawmakers

President-elect Trump’s announcement of Kash Patel being nominated as the new FBI director continued to elicit strong opinions from experts and lawmakers on the Sunday shows.

In a Truth Social post on Saturday, Trump announced his intent to replace current FBI Director Christopher Wray, who Trump hired during his first term. Since then, media outlets have labeled Patel an “extremely controversial pick” because of his opposition to the “deep state.”

Left-wing commentators showed concern over the politicization of the FBI and whether Patel would be a Trump “enforcer” who’d “dismantle” the agency.

Former Obama administration official Juliette Kayyem claimed Patel was chosen only to go after Trump’s political enemies.

“[Patel] has no other agenda but revenge. I mean, it‘s not like he has a theory of law enforcement, a theory of reducing crime or financial crimes. He exists for one reason, and he‘s close to Trump for one reason, which is he will be the enforcer of what might be called sort of the revenge tour of this second term. So it‘s not really a matter of, what do I think or what should people think. He is appointed for this purpose,” Kayyem said. Bernie Sanders Admits ‘Elon Musk Is Right,’ Backs DOGE if It Makes Major Cuts in This Department

. . .Lefty Sen. Bernie Sanders turned heads Sunday with his support for President-elect Donald Trump’s planned new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) — providing it takes aim at the Pentagon’s cushy budget.

“Elon Musk is right. The Pentagon, with a budget of $886 billion, just failed its 7th audit in a row. It’s lost track of billions,” the 83-year-old Vermont senator posted on X.

“Last year, only 13 senators voted against the Military Industrial Complex and a defense budget full of waste and fraud. That must change,” the Independent Party pol added.

Trump had announced shortly after winning last month’s election that tech mogul Elon Musk, 53, and biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, 39, would serve as the co-heads of DOGE until it concludes its work by July 4, 2026.

Despite the planned new agency’s cryptocurrency- and meme-inspired name, DOGE is not actually a government department but instead an outside organization that will coordinate with the White House and Office of Management and Budget to root out waste.
