Report: Amazon Donating $1 Million to Trump Inauguration

Big Tech, which largely has taken extreme anti-Trump positions in recent years, suddenly is reversing itself.

Already, Meta has agreed to donate $1 million to the inauguration plans for President-elect Trump. Now Amazon is making the same move.

A report from the Wall Street Journal described the move by Amazon’s Jeff Bezos as working to “shore up ties” with Trump.

A report at the Right Scoop said, “Wow. They are lining up to smooth relations with President Trump ahead of his four year term. Next thing you know Bezos will be flying to Mar-a-lago to kiss the ring in person.” . . .

The Daily Caller News Foundation explained that donation comes “amid a thaw in relations between Trump and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, with Zuckerberg paying a visit to Trump’s private Mar-a-Lago club in Florida two weeks ago, according to the WSJ.” (Read more from “Report: Amazon Donating $1 Million to Trump Inauguration” HERE)

Biden Admin Says It Doesn’t Have Authority to Shoot Down Mysterious Drones

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Friday said the government doesn’t have the authority to shoot down drones and believes reports of some sightings are cases of mistaken identity.

Mayorkas appeared on CNN when he was asked about why the federal government doesn’t take down one of the many drones that have been spotted across multiple states in recent weeks.

“Our authorities are very limited,” Mayorkas told CNN host Wolf Blitzer, citing missions involving unmanned aircraft conducted by various federal agencies. “We have various authorities that are discreet to their particular missions. We can’t just shoot a drone out of the sky.”

Mayorkas said officials believe reported drone sightings are “cases of mistaken identity” where drones are actually small aircraft “where people are misidentifying them,” noting that some can be purchased at “convenience stores.”

“We know of no threat or nefarious activity,” he said. (Read more from “Biden Admin Says It Doesn’t Have Authority to Shoot Down Mysterious Drones” HERE)

Biden Commutes Sentence of Woman Who Conspired to Manufacture, Distribute Fentanyl

President Joe Biden commuted the sentence of a woman who was sentenced to 15 years in prison over conspiring to manufacture and distribute an altered and more potent version of fentanyl.

A White House press release on Thursday revealed that Biden is pardoning 39 people and commuting the sentences of 1,499 people. Among the list of people who had their sentences commuted was Wendy Hechtman.

A press release from the United States Attorney’s Office District of Nebraska from November 2017 revealed that Hechtman and her husband, Ken, along with two other people, were charged “in a three count indictment.”

“Kenneth and Wendy are charged in Count I with conspiracy to manufacture 10 grams or more of Fentanyl Analogue between on or about March 2017 and October 30, 2017,” the press release says.

The Hechtmans were also “charged in Count II with conspiracy to distribute Fentanyl Analogue between on or about March 2017 and October 30, 2017” and were “charged in Count III with possession with intent to distribute 400 grams or more of Fentanyl Analogue on or about October 30, 2017,” according to the press release. DOJ Finally Releases Suppressed IG report on Jan 6: Here’s What They’re Still Covering Up

By Revolver News. Loyal and longtime readers may recall that we began our very first major report exploring federal involvement in the January 6 Fedsurrection began with a striking exchange between Senator Amy Klobuchar and Christopher Wray, in which Klobuchar asks the FBI director if he had any informants in place prior to January 6th. . .

Early this afternoon, the Department of Justice finally released its long suppressed Inspector General report on January 6th. The substance of the report, as well as the timing help to shed light on FBI Director Christopher Wray’s seemingly abrupt and premature decision to resign (announced yesterday). Indeed, while the report must be understood in essence as a limited hangout cover-up job released under great reluctance, what it does reveal is damning enough for Christopher Wray, the FBI, and the malicious and discredited Fedsurrection narrative as a whole.

Let’s start with some of the highlights. First, the FBI IG report acknowledges the presence of multiple CHS’s (informants) some of whom were sent to DC for Jan 6 by the FBI, and some of whom went on their own accord and reported to their handlers in the FBI.

We found no evidence in the materials we reviewed or the testimony we received showing or suggesting that the FBI had undercover employees in the various protest crowds, or at the Capitol, on January 6. We reviewed the documented CHS reporting that the FBI had prior to the riot and breach of the Capitol on January 6, 2021. We determined that three CHSs had been tasked by FBI field offices in the days leading up to the January 6 Electoral Certification, with the required approval of the WFO, to travel to DC for the events of January 6 to report on domestic terrorism subjects who were possibly attending the event. Specifically: One FBI field office tasked a CHS to travel to DC to report on the activities of a predicated domestic terrorism subject who was separately planning to travel to DC for the January 6 Electoral Certification; a second FBI field office tasked a CHS to travel to DC to potentially report on two domestic terrorism (DT) subjects from another FBI field office who were planning to travel to DC for the events of January 6; and a third CHS, who had informed their handling agent that they intended to travel to DC on their own initiative for the events of January 6, was similarly tasked by their field office to potentially report on two DT subjects from other FBI field offices who were planning to travel to DC for the events of January 6. Our review 5 concluded that none of these three FBI CHSs were authorized to enter the Capitol or a restricted area, or to otherwise break the law on January 6, nor was any CHS directed by the FBI to encourage others to commit illegal acts on January 6.

In other words, we see that there were at least three informants who had been tasked directly with following specific targets and informing on their plans in relation to January 6th. (Read more from “DOJ Finally Releases Suppressed IG report on Jan 6: Here’s What They’re Still Covering Up” HERE)

DOJ Inspector General Reveals Details About FBI Informants and January 6

By Townhall. Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz released a report Thursday revealing the FBI used dozens of confidential human sources in the lead up to former President Donald Trump’s speech at the Ellipse on January 6, 2021 and ahead of the congressional certification of the 2020 presidential election results at the U.S. Capitol. Horowitz also noted some of these sources were on the ground in Washington D.C. on January 6, but not authorized to enter the U.S. Capitol or to encourage attendees of Trump’s rally to commit illegal acts.

“Our review determined that none of these FBI CHSs was authorized by the FBI to enter the Capitol or a restricted area or to otherwise break the law on January 6, nor was any CHS directed by the FBI to encourage others to commit illegal acts on January 6,” Horowitz’ office released in a statement.

Many informants illegally entered the U.S. Capitol anyway, but have not been charged.

“None of the CHSs who entered the Capitol or a restricted area has been prosecuted to date,” the report states. (Read more from “DOJ Inspector General Reveals Details About FBI Informants and January 6” HERE)

Bombshell Report Claims That Biden’s Education Department Spent $1 Billion on DEI

A study conducted by parental rights organization Parents Defending Education (PDE) found that President Joe Biden’s Department of Education spent at least $1 billion on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives since 2021.

Researchers found that $490 million was spent on DEI hiring efforts, $343 million on DEI programming and $170 million on DEI-related mental health resources.

Key takeaways from the study include the fact that multiple Education Department grants “feature programming that advances race-based teacher recruiting, hiring, and training, including the use of race-based affinity groups.”

In addition, many grants were issued for youth activism programming used in far-left ethnic studies courses[.] (Read more from “Bombshell Report Claims That Biden’s Education Department Spent $1 Billion on DEI” HERE)

Drone Mystery Deepens: Who Sent Them?! Not U.S. Military—or Foreign Controlled

The Pentagon denied Rep. Jeff Van Drew’s (R-NJ) claim that an Iranian “mothership” located “off the East Coast of the United States” has been launching mysterious unidentified drones.

Sabrina Singh, a spokeswoman with the Pentagon, was asked if there was “any truth” to the claims that Iran “launched a mothership” about a month ago containing the alleged drones that have reportedly been spotted in New Jersey and Staten Island, New York.

“There is not any truth to that. There is no Iranian ship off the coast of the United States, and there’s no so-called mothership launching drones towards the United States,” Singh explained.

When asked what the Pentagon was doing “to address” the issue of drone sightings, Singh said there was “no evidence” that the drones were “coming from a foreign entity” or adversary. Singh added that the drones were not United States military drones.

“At this time, we have no evidence that these activities are coming from a foreign entity or the work of an adversary,” Singh responded. “We’re going to continue to monitor what is happening, but at no point were our installations threatened when this activity was occurring.” (Read more from “Drone Mystery Deepens: Who Sent Them?! Here’s Who Trump Reportedly Invited to His Inauguration

President-elect Donald Trump has reportedly invited Chinese President Xi Jinping to his inauguration in January, though it’s unclear whether the foreign leader will attend or not.

CBS News reports the invitation came shortly after Trump won the Nov. 5 election.

In addition to Xi, the president-elect’s team has raised the possibility of hosting other leaders at the Capitol on Jan. 20. Hungary’s far-right leader, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who has a warm relationship with Trump and visited him at Mar-a-Lago this week, is “still considering” whether to attend, according to a source familiar with Orbán’s plans. […]

Ambassadors and other diplomats are typically invited to inaugurations, but State Department records dating back to 1874 show that a foreign leader has never attended a transfer-of-power ceremony.

Members of Trump’s inner circle remain sharp critics of Xi’s government, including Sen. Marco Rubio, his pick to be secretary of state, and incoming national security adviser Mike Waltz.

School Denied White Student Reading Help To Prioritize Minorities, Legal Firm Says

A Wisconsin school denied extra reading help to a white dyslexic student because of his race, according to a conservative legal firm.

The Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty (WILL) said this week that a young boy attending King Elementary School in Green Bay was discriminated against because of a policy that prioritized literacy help to black, Hispanic, and American Indian students. WILL says that the policy, found in its “school success” plan, violates federal civil rights law and should be scrapped.

The policy in question details that part of the school’s action plan should be “intentional work educating our focus students, prioritizing additional resources to First Nations, Black, and Hispanic students.”

Colbey Decker told WILL that when she attempted to get extra reading help for her son because of his dyslexia, he was put on a waiting list for almost a year before he got help as part of a group. WILL says that Decker’s child would have been given individualized help if he had been black or Hispanic. Trump Appoints Kari Lake to Head Voice of America News Agency

President-elect Donald Trump has nominated Kari Lake, a former newscaster and candidate for Arizona governor and U.S. Senate, to be the new chief of Voice of America, the government-funded worldwide news agency.

And leftists are melting down over the appointment of the longtime Trump supporter.

Just the News noted that Trump’s announcement said Lake will work alongside the next leader of the U.S. Agency for Global Media, who has not yet been nominated.

Lake was a candidate for Arizona governor in 2022 and the U.S. Senate in 2024, and lost both races by narrow margins.

“I am pleased to announce that Kari Lake will serve as our next Director of the Voice of America,” Trump explained in a posting on Truth Social. “She will be appointed by, and work closely with, our next head of the U.S. Agency for Global Media, who I will announce soon, to ensure that the American values of Freedom and Liberty are broadcast around the World FAIRLY and ACCURATELY, unlike the lies spread by the Fake News Media.” (Read more from “Trump Appoints Kari Lake to Head Voice of America News Agency” HERE)

West Point Refuses to Say if Officials Who Spread False Info About Pete Hegseth’s Academy Record Will Be Punished

West Point is refusing to disclose whether school officials who gave false information to legacy media about Pete Hegseth’s acceptance into the academy will face disciplinary action for their conduct, The Federalist has learned.

The entire saga came to fruition on Wednesday morning, when Hegseth, President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee for secretary of defense, posted screenshots of his 1999 acceptance letter into West Point on X. In the caption accompanying the images, the Army veteran wrote, “We understand that ProPublica (the Left Wing hack group) is planning to publish a knowingly false report that I was not accepted to West Point in 1999. Here’s my letter of acceptance signed by West Point Superintendent, Lieutenant General Daniel Christman, US Army.”

As noted by the former Fox News host, ProPublica is radical left-wing “news” organization that acts as a PR operation for the Democrat Party and its interests. Bankrolled by the left’s dark money network and staffed with Democrat partisans, the outlet has spent the last year leading a seemingly coordinated smear campaign against Supreme Court Justices Samual Alito and Clarence Thomas.

Responding to Hegseth’s tweet in a condescending X thread, ProPublica Senior Editor and Reporter Jesse Eisinger — who edited ProPublica’s Pulitzer Prize-winning hit pieces against the conservative justices — effectively admitted the left-wing outlet was looking into running a hatchet job against Hegseth based on the Army veteran’s “different statements over the years about West Point, where he has said he was admitted.”

Eisinger claimed ProPublica first reached out to West Point’s public affairs office to inquire about Hegseth’s acceptance into the academy and was informed by a representative, “According to the admissions office – Hegseth had not applied for admission to the U.S. Military Academy.” Eisinger contended the leftist outlet subsequently called the academy “to ask if that meant that Hegseth had never been admitted,” and was purportedly told by a second West Point representative, “Absolutely 100%. Because he never opened a file.” (Read more from “West Point Refuses to Say if Officials Who Spread False Info About Pete Hegseth’s Academy Record Will Be Punished” HERE)
