Video: Obama Admits He is “Unpatriotic”

By Ben Johnson

In 2008, candidate Obama had some harsh words about President George W. Bush’s fiscal policy:

The problem is, is that the way Bush has done it over the last eight years is to take out a credit card from the Bank of China in the name of our children, driving up the national debt from 5 trillion for the first 42 presidents — number 43 added $4 trillion by his lonesome, so that we now have $9 trillion of debt that we are going to have to pay back — $30,000 for every man, woman and child. That’s irresponsible. It’s unpatriotic.

Forget for a moment that during the Bush administration, the highest offense one could commit was to question the patriotism of the far-Left.

CBS News reported Monday:

The latest posting by the Treasury Department shows the national debt has now increased $4 trillion on President Obama’s watch.

The debt was $10.626 trillion on the day Mr. Obama took office. The latest calculation from Treasury shows the debt has now hit $14.639 trillion.

It’s the most rapid increase in the debt under any U.S. president.

Remember, Number-44 racked up what he deems an “unpatriotic” amount of debt in less than three years, while it took the free-spending George W. Bush administration eight years to compound an equivalent deficit.

By Obama’s reasoning, that means he must really hate this country.

Amnesty is Obama’s 2012 Campaign Plan

Talk about bad timing! For the third time in three years, President Obama is on a ten day vacation at tony Martha’s Vineyard. Disregarding soaring debt, high unemployment, home foreclosures, two costly wars, and a tumultuous stock market, Obama took wife Michelle and daughters Malia and Sasha to hang out with the rich and famous on their 28-acre leased estate.

Before he left on vacation, Obama had a nasty surprise for unemployed Americans and citizens who believe in enforcing the nation’s laws. According to new rules issued by the Department of Homeland Security, illegal immigrants facing deportation will now be allowed to stay in the country indefinitely and get a work permit. Break the law; be rewarded with a job opportunity.

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano presented the new policy as one that will allow the government to focus on deporting only illegal immigrants who are criminals or who pose a threat to national security. But given the broad nature of the Homeland Security edict, it’s clear that the true purpose is…

Iowa Passion

Sarah Palin’s political action committee has produced a two-minute video that is stirring up quite a buzz among political commentators. Whether the video, entitled “Iowa Passion,” actually proves that the former Alaska governor intends to enter the 2012 presidential contest or is instead just the latest installment in the ongoing “Palin plays the media like a fiddle” show is unclear.

Homofascist stalkers ruin lives via social media

In 1962, British author Anthony Burgess, who penned the classic “A Clockwork Orange,” published a lesser-known work entitled “The Wanting Seed,” another dystopian novel. This nightmare of fictionalized sociological development portrayed a nation in which religion was turned on its head in order to serve the State, homosexuality was encouraged as a population-control measure, heterosexuals were persecuted, and citizens were policed by brutal homosexuals who wore Gestapo-style uniforms and black lipstick.

I am personally opposed to the persecution of people who practice homosexuality, but neither do I believe they ought to be allowed to dictate the moral agenda in America, which some are definitely attempting to do, with the aid of the press and entertainment industry. It is also important to acknowledge that the political forces driving so-called “gay rights” causes don’t give a rat’s fanny about the civil rights of people who practice homosexuality; their overtures are simply more efforts to culturally balkanize America.

That said, one of the key arguments espoused by activists in this area maintains that those who possess traditional values suffer from an irrational fear of homosexuals – so let’s examine that claim.

Israeli News: Obama a ‘living and breathing nightmare’

An Israeli news columnist is scorching Barack Obama as possibly the worst U.S. president in history, calling him “a living and breathing nightmare.”

Yigal Walt of Ynetnews says Obama “is solidifying his status as the worst president in American history. The leader who promised us a bright future of peace and fraternity is leading the American empire – and the rest of the world with it – into a dark abyss.”

“Ever since he settled into the Oval Office, Obama has been hopping from one disaster to the next, making every possible mistake, boosting enemies and disregarding allies while ruining everything he touches in the process,” Walt writes. Yigal Walt of Ynetnews says Obama “is solidifying his status as the worst president in American history. The leader who promised us a bright future of peace and fraternity is leading the American empire – and the rest of the world with it – into a dark abyss.”

Karl Rove Smears Rick Perry Again Just For Kicks

What Rick Perry actually said was that Bernanke “almost committed treason” while discussing the Fed’s money printing Quantitative Easing policy. He never accused Bernanke of treason. But, Rove and the state-run media pounced on the comment anyway.

Karl Rove was on The Factor with Bill O’Reilly last evening. Rove again repeated the smear that Govenor Rick Perry accused the Federal Reserve Board Chairman of a treason that was punishable by death.

The Five Most Catastrophic Hidden Costs of the Obama Presidency

We well remember candidate Barack Obama’s ’08 throngs laying in breathless wait for the “Lightworker” to appear and speak as “sort of like God” from his teleprompter on high. Now, with nearly everything this president has touched lying in shambles, a shrunken Obama whines from town to town, transported in a taxpayer-purchased bus that resembles a big, fat hearse — the perfect symbol for the harbinger of economic death that Obama’s presidency has become.

It’s painfully apparent now that the American people were scammed in ’08 by Barack the Bamboozler in what will be known historically as the most audacious scheme of fraudulent branding the world has ever seen.

I would just love to see a crackerjack team of litigation attorneys put together a class action suit with a dollar amount on both the tangible and intangible “pain and suffering” costs of the Obama presidency. In fact, if I were a Republican strategist, I would commission a legal team to devise such a case and put it in a PowerPoint presentation for voters by next fall.

The all too apparent costs, of course, are…

Gold’s Rise Signifies America’s Fall

The price of gold has gone on a tear this summer, from slightly under $1,500 per ounce to well over $1,800 per ounce, and it looks like it wants to go higher. What gives?

Well, if you bought gold last spring, you’re looking pretty smart. And if you bought gold a decade ago at $300 per ounce, you’re looking like a whiz. Imagine buying a stock 10 years ago, having it appreciate fairly steadily over the decade, and then watching its price increase in less than two months by more than your original purchase price. For a commodity to increase at such a rate is truly extraordinary, even portentous.

For an investor, gold is an insurance policy, a way to preserve some purchasing power regardless of what happens to the official currency or a country’s banking system.

For a society, the rising price of gold is not a good thing. When investors flock to gold, it means they are not investing in wealth-creating enterprises. Money (which is what gold is once again becoming) is the oil that…

Time for an American Spring

Stopped clocks are right twice a day, and Al Gore can be too, assuming you use a generous definition of “day” and “twice”… and “right”.

Long after the media had shamefacedly retired the “Arab Spring” in the same closet where they keep the Mondale presidency and Grateful Dead memorabilia—Al Gore brought it out with impeccable timing on an episode of “Where on TV is Keith Olbermann”.

We need to have an American Spring,” Gore said. “You know, the Arab Spring—the nonviolent part of it isn’t finished yet—but we need to have an American Spring, a kind of an American Tahrir Square.

And this time no CBS reporters will have to be sexually assaulted. But the Goracle of Montecito, like a stopped clock, got the time wrong. The American Spring was in 2010. It was in the roar of Tea Party crowds gathering for popular protests around the nation. And the role of Mubarak was played by his distant cousin, Barry.

You can always tell the revolutionaries from the tyrants by seeing which group issues bulletins about the dangers of extremism, and which tells the government to go to hell. Last year a lot of people told the government to go to hell… and that worries the government.

How’s that Offshoring Working for Ya?

The claim first made ten years ago and repeated by Republican and Democratic administrations that corporate offshoring would increase domestic employment turned out to be a painful hoax perpetrated on American workers.

Matthew Slaughter, a Dartmouth College Tuck School of Business professor and an economic advisor to George W. Bush, touted the universally accepted globalist mantra that “for every one job that U.S. multinationals created abroad…they created nearly two U.S. jobs in their [U.S.-based] parents.” Today, Slaughter admits his error. In the meantime unemployed, indebted, and foreclosed Americans pay the price for the federal government’s folly.

Despite the current administration’s ongoing rhetoric to the contrary, few well-paying jobs will be created near term. U. S. corporations find it more lucrative to do business overseas.

Here’s the evidence. According to a report issued July 27 by Moody’s Investor Services, U.S. non-financial corporate cash holdings rose to $1.24 trillion at the end of 2010 with nearly half of the total on deposit abroad. Apple, Inc., Microsoft Corp., Cisco Systems, Inc., Pfizer Inc., and Google, Inc. held the largest amounts of cash. The huge sums reflect the growing strength of major corporations’ international operations.

Based on a Moody’s internal survey, the agency concluded that: “We believe companies will keep this cash outside the U.S. as they pursue international acquisitions, invest in their own overseas operations or await tax breaks on overseas earnings they bring back to the U.S.”
