. . .Vice President Kamala Harris might be a woman without conviction, but she’s trying to get away with selling more than a few contradictions.

On Wednesday, Axios’ Alex Thompson reported on a “lengthy ‘fact-check’ ” forwarded by the Harris team to their allies in the press revising the unpopular policy positions she articulated just a few years ago.

Among the assertions made: Harris “does not support an electric vehicle mandate.”

. . .Back in 2019, Harris co-sponsored a bill that would have required automobile manufacturers to produce only electric and hydrogen-powered vehicles, completely phasing out the gas-powered ones that most Americans depend on by 2040.

Gun-Control Groups Claim Making Kids Transgender Will Limit Firearm Violence

Ensuring minors can access procedures like puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones is a “crucial component” in the fight against firearm violence, gun control groups told the Supreme Court Tuesday.

In an amicus brief filed in United States v. Skrmetti, organizations including Giffords, the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence, Team Enough and March For Our Lives Action urged the Supreme Court to strike down a Tennessee law banning sex change procedures for minors, claiming such laws contribute to a “climate of hostility that puts transgender individuals directly at risk.” The groups also argued that youth who identify as transgender are at a higher risk of committing suicide using a firearm when they cannot access “gender-affirming care,” a euphemism for life-altering medical interventions.

“In the face of the ongoing gun violence crisis gripping our nation, ensuring access to gender affirming care for transgender youth is not merely a matter of medical necessity—it is a crucial component in our fight against the epidemic of gun violence that disproportionately threatens this vulnerable population,” the groups argued.

The correlation between a “surge in violence” and “discriminatory legislation” cannot be ignored, the groups argued.

“By denying access to gender-affirming medical care, SB1 not only inhibits the ability of transgender youth to present as their authentic selves safely in society, but it also perpetuates the dangerous and baseless perception that transgender individuals who seek medical transition pose a threat to society,” the groups argued. “This dual effect—increasing transgender individuals’ visibility as potential targets while also stoking societal fears— creates a perfect storm of increased violence against an already vulnerable population.” (Read more from “Gun-Control Groups Claim Making Kids Transgender Will Limit Firearm Violence” HERE)

Trump Pledges to Create Elon Musk-Led ‘Government Efficiency Commission’ in Major Economic Address

During a major economic speech on Thursday, former President Donald Trump pledged to create a “government efficiency commission” spearheaded by X owner Elon Musk if elected this November.

This commission will be “tasked with conducting a complete financial and performance audit of the entire federal government and making recommendations for drastic reforms,” the 2024 GOP presidential nominee said during his address to The Economic Club of New York.

The announcement came days after The Washington Post reported that Trump was considering forming such a group, comprised of leading business leaders, to identify and slash wasteful government programs.

Throughout his address, the former president voiced support for lowering the corporate tax rate to 15 percent for companies “that make their product in America,” which is lower than the current 21 percent established by Republicans’ 2017 Tax Cut and Jobs Act. (The previous rate was 35 percent). He also pledged to slash at least 10 federal regulations for every new one created, expanding upon a policy enacted during his first term.

“I took care of our economy like I would take care of my own company in every decision,” Trump said. “I asked, will I create jobs here, or will I be sending jobs overseas? Former Kennedy Staffers Launch Pro-Trump PAC to ‘Make America Healthy Again’

Anew health-centered political action committee (PAC) launched Wednesday to push supporters for environmental lawyer Robert F. Kennedy to cast ballots in favor of former President Donald Trump.

The PAC, titled Make America Healthy Again (MAHA), is run by a dozen senior staffers who ran Kennedy’s independent presidential campaign. The third-party candidate dropped out to endorse the Republican nominee last month.

“Three great causes drove me to enter this race in the first place,” Kennedy said the day after Democrats concluded their convention in Chicago. “And these are the principle causes that persuaded me to leave the Democratic Party and run as an independent, and now to throw my support to President Trump.”

Kennedy’s endorsement immediately crashed the Democrats’ “sugar high” from the DNC, threatening to spoil Vice President Kamala Harris’s roughly two-point lead. The independent candidate polled around 5 percent throughout August in the aggregate of surveys by RealClearPolitics.

Kennedy ran on a three-pillared platform against censorship, a U.S.-funded forever war in Ukraine, and the runaway epidemic of chronic disease — a platform now at the center of a new campaign to drive independent votes for Trump. ‘Witness Protection’: Media-Friendly Tim Walz Has Disappeared From Airwaves Since Joining Harris Ticket

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz rose to prominence by making the rounds in mainstream media interviews, but since being named Kamala Harris’s running mate, the “folksy”, “midwestern dad” has been missing from the airwaves.

From July 22 to Aug. 6, about two weeks before he was added to the ticket, Walz appeared on MSNBC, PBS, CNN and Fox News a total of ten times, an analysis by Newsbusters’ Curtis Houck, shared with the Daily Caller, showed. Since Harris chose Walz as her running mate on Aug. 6, the governor has not appeared on the networks he flocked to during the vetting process, according to Houck’s analysis.

“It’s no surprise that Tim Walz has gone into the witness protection program first started by the Biden-Harris 2020 campaign after blanketing the liberal cable networks during the vetting process to show Kamala Harris his loyalty to her,” Houck told the Caller.

“Between July 23 and August 6, he appeared on CNN and MSNBC at least seven times, with an additional hit on taxpayer-funded PBS. Morning and evening, Walz made sure Harris and her team saw him at all hours of the day. Importantly, none came after July 30 as the vetting intensified and Harris conducted final round interviews,” he continued.

The shift is a jarring departure from Walz’s pre-nomination media blitz, which skyrocketed him into liberal stardom and separated him from the other contenders in the VP sweepstakes. Father of Georgia Shooting Suspect Arrested, Charged With Involuntary Manslaughter, 2nd Degree Murder

The father of the 14-year-old Apalachee High School attack suspect was arrested Thursday and charged with manslaughter and other charges.

CBS News reported that law enforcement sources indicated 54-year-old Colin Gray allegedly gave an AR-15 rifle to his son “as a gift … in December 2023.”

The specific charges against the father include “four counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second degree murder and eight counts of
cruelty to children.”

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) noted that the charges “stem from Mr. Gray knowingly allowing his son … to possess a weapon.”

Hunter Biden Pleads Guilty to Tax Charges

Hunter Biden pled guilty to federal tax charges in California on Thursday afternoon, according to multiple reports.

The president’s son pleaded guilty to each of the six misdemeanor and three felony counts he faced for allegedly failing to pay at least $1.4 million in taxes and filing falsified tax paperwork, according to CNN. Judge Mark Scarsi, the district judge for the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, accepted the plea, and sentencing is currently scheduled for Dec. 16.

Some legal pundits, including former Justice Department official John Yoo, have said that the president’s son is likely to face jail time.

Hunter Biden’s legal team attempted to offer a so-called “Alford plea” earlier Thursday, whereby he would effectively maintain his innocence while accepting whatever punishment may eventually be handed down, CNN reported. His attorneys said later in the day that he would be amenable to an “open plea,” in which Hunter Biden would essentially admit that his behavior does amount to satisfying the charges that he faces. In a move that has raised significant concerns about First Amendment rights, the Department of Justice (DOJ) has unsealed a controversial indictment accusing a prominent Tennessee-based media company of involvement in a Russian influence operation. The indictment, revealed Wednesday, alleges that the company, widely identified as Tenet Media, was covertly funded and directed by Russian nationals to spread pro-Kremlin propaganda across U.S. social media platforms.

Tenet Media, which describes itself as a network for “fearless voices” focusing on Western political and cultural issues, features high-profile conservative commentators such as Dave Rubin, Benny Johnson, Tim Pool, Lauren Southern, Tayler Hansen, and Matt Christiansen. The DOJ’s indictment claims that two Russian nationals, Kostiantyn Kalashnikov and Elena Afanasyeva, orchestrated a scheme to infiltrate U.S. media by funneling nearly $10 million through a network of foreign shell companies to finance Tenet Media.

The DOJ’s press release emphasizes that Kalashnikov and Afanasyeva, operating under multiple fake identities, used their financial and editorial influence to promote narratives that allegedly align with the goals of the Russian government and its state-funded media outlet, RT. According to the indictment, the Russian operatives were involved in editing and directing content posted by Tenet Media on platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter). Since its inception in November 2023, the company has reportedly posted nearly 2,000 videos, garnering over 16 million views on YouTube alone.

The indictment accuses Tenet Media of disseminating content that exacerbates domestic divisions on sensitive issues like immigration and inflation, purportedly to further Russia’s agenda of sowing discord in the United States. Notably, the indictment claims that Tenet Media did not disclose its foreign funding or register with the Attorney General as an agent of a foreign principal, as required by law.

Critics argue that the DOJ’s actions against Tenet Media and its associated commentators represent a troubling precedent for governmental overreach into free speech and press freedom. Supporters of the indictment, however, contend that it is a necessary step to combat foreign interference and safeguard the integrity of American media and democracy.

Kamala Harris’ Indian-Jamaican roots are again in the spotlight, but this time it is not her political rival Donald Trump sounding alarms. Radar Online exclusively reported that the Vice President is apparently the descendant of an Irish slave owner who was reportedly ‘brutal’ and a ‘seriously bad man.’ A British historian is said to have made the allegation.

From her maternal side, the US Democrat is half-Indian; her mother Shyamala Gopalan was born in Madras, India. She is also half-Jamaican from her father Donald Harris’ side. The reports of her Irish connection came after it was revealed that she was born in Brown’s Town on the Caribbean island—named after Hamilton Brown, the enslaver—who’s been cited as the great-great-great-great grandfather of Harris by the historian.

Donald, the VP’s father who is also a professor, wrote in an article published in the Jamaica Global Online, “My roots go back, within my lifetime, to my paternal grandmother Miss Chrishy (née Christiana Brown), a descendant of Hamilton Brown who is on record as plantation and slaveowner and founder of Brown’s Town, a town in Jamaica.”

‘Fake a—’: Barack Obama’s Estranged Brother Launches Attack Against Former President, Drops Another Endorsement for Donald Trump

Former president Barack Obama’s older half-brother, Malik Obama, has entered the 2024 presidential campaigning season.

The Kenyan native, who has dual citizenship in the family’s African homeland and in the United States, has taken to social media to throw his support behind Republican candidate and former President Donald Trump and take a potshot at his famous brother — despite the latter not running in the election.

Malik started by posting an old photo of himself and his brother on X platform on Sept. 3, captioned, “Fake A— when we were brothers.”

The tweet drew a flurry of support from Trump’s followers, urging Malik to “Speak your truth” and homophobic slurs at the 44th president.

The next day, Malik formalized his endorsement, echoing his 2016 stance, stating, “I am Malik Obama. I’m a registered Republican and I’m voting for President Donald Trump.”
