Report: Obama Has Expressed Concern About Biden Privately

A report from the Washington Post suggests that former President Barack Obama has privately expressed concern about President Joe Biden’s chances for reelection.

“Former president Barack Obama has privately told allies who have reached out to him that President Biden’s already-tough path to reelection grew more challenging after his shaky debate performance on Thursday — a harsher assessment of the presidential race than his public comments, according to several people familiar with his remarks,” the report on Tuesday noted.

In public, following Biden’s poor debate performance against former President Donald Trump, Obama has been stalwart in his support of the current president.

“Bad debate nights happen. Trust me, I know,” Obama said in a statement on social media last week.

“But this election is still a choice between someone who has fought for ordinary folks his entire life and someone who only cares about himself,” Obama continued. “Between someone who tells the truth; who knows right from wrong and will give it to the American people straight — and someone who lies through his teeth for his own benefit,” Obama said, concluding that “Last night didn’t change that, and it’s why so much is at stake in November.”

Oscar-Winning A-Lister Blasts Hollywood’s ‘Timid and Artless’ Gay Agenda

Sean Penn might be one of the biggest lefties in Hollywood, but even he’s fed up with the industry’s not-so-secret gay agenda.

Penn is a famed climate nut, rivaled perhaps only by Leo and Clooney. His weird “vanity project” on Volodymyr Zelenskyy early in the Ukraine war had even the corporate press scratching their heads. And of course, one of his best known roles is that of LGBT activist Harvey Milk, for which he won an Oscar.

But in a gushing profile for The New York Times, he responded “no” when asked if he could play a gay character like Milk again.

“It could not happen in a time like this,” Penn told The Times. “It’s a time of tremendous overreach. It’s a timid and artless policy toward the human imagination.”

He’s slamming Hollywood for being too obsessed with reality-based casting. Have a straight actor play a gay character, and the whole project is sure to invite a media lecture on “real representation.” (Read more from “Oscar-Winning A-Lister Blasts Hollywood’s ‘Timid and Artless’ Gay Agenda” HERE)

Millions of Americans Haven’t Forked Over a Single Cent Toward Their Student Loan Debts

Nearly half of student loan borrowers have not made repayments since billing resumed last year, according to The New York Times.

Student loan repayments were put on a three-year pause during the pandemic, allowing borrowers to put their payments on hold until billing resumed in 2023, according to the Federal Student Aid website. There were nearly 19 million borrowers who were not making monthly payments at the end of March, six months after the end of the pause, according to the NYT.

Some borrowers say they cannot afford to make payments and others stated they are caught up in “bureaucratic snafus,” while others are benefiting from an “on-ramp” transition period that extends through September, the NYT reported. During this time, borrowers who make late payments will not be reported on as delinquent.

“For some time, we’re going to have this group of borrowers who will see, ‘I went delinquent and nothing happened,’ so they think, ‘Why am I making a payment?’” Scott Buchanan, Student Loan Servicing Alliance executive director, told the NYT. said. “That was always the risk of the on-ramp. You want to encourage people to make payments. If you self-cure for them, that doesn’t encourage payments.” (Read more from “Millions of Americans Haven’t Forked Over a Single Cent Toward Their Student Loan Debts” HERE)

First Sitting Democrat Calls for Biden to Withdraw

By Breitbart. The first domino fell Tuesday. Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-TX) called for President Joe Biden to step down from his campaign for reelection to the White House.

Doggett’s announcement followed a horrendous debate performance from Biden universally panned by media and voters.

Few Democrat elected officials have rushed to Biden’s defense, but Doggett is the first to officially announce Biden should step aside.

“For more than a year, many Americans have indicated dissatisfaction with their choices in this election,” Doggett said in a press release. “President Biden has continued to run substantially behind Democratic senators in key states and in most polls has trailed Donald Trump.”

He continued, “I had hoped that the debate would provide some momentum to change that. It did not. Instead of reassuring voters, the President failed to effectively defend his many accomplishments and expose Trump’s many lies.” (Read more from “Rep. Lloyd Doggett Becomes First Sitting Democrat to Call for Biden to Withdraw” HERE)

Democrats Begin Attacking Biden’s Performance and Campaign

By Politico. Top Democrats have begun forcefully and aggressively criticizing President Joe Biden’s debate performance and pushing back against what they call an unconvincing response from his campaign to worries that he’s no longer up for the job — delivering a dire warning to the party.

Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-Tex.), called on Biden to drop out of the race. Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.), a key ally of the president, told MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell that he will back Vice President Kamala Harris if Biden steps aside. Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi said it’s completely legitimate to question whether Biden’s debate performance was “an episode or is this a condition?”

Democratic governors are also planning to meet with Biden, possibly as soon as Wednesday, after more than two dozen gathered on a call this week to vent about the president.

“Folks want to know — what’s the plan, Joe? What is the plan not only for you, but the rest of us to get out there and carry the flag? Are you able and is the campaign able to maintain the pace?” said one Democratic adviser to a governor who was on the call. The Democrat was granted anonymity to discuss the private matter. How Biden’s Mental Decline Went From ‘Misinformation’ to Fact in a Week

On CNN today, Carl Bernstein, of Watergate fame, reports that people close to Joe Biden —people “who loved him, have supported him, and among them are some people who would raise a lot of money for him” — say his disastrous debate performance wasn’t a “one-off.” There have been, according to these insiders, “15, 20 occasions in the last year and a half when the president has appeared somewhat as he did in that horror show that we witnessed.”

Yeah, we know. All of us saw the horror show in a bunch of videos you hacks kept telling us was “misinformation” a week ago.

Last month, for instance, the same network’s Dem apparatchik Oliver Darcy attacked the “glaring problems” of a well-sourced Wall Street Journal piece detailing a litany of Biden’s slips. Not long before the first presidential debate, CNN ran another piece headlined, “Right-wing media outlets use deceptively cropped video to misleadingly claim Biden wandered off at G7 summit.”

Before the debate, NBC News senior politics reporter Alex Seitz-Wald ran an article headlined, “Misleading GOP videos of Biden are going viral. The fact-checks have trouble keeping up.” In it, Seitz-Wald regurgitates most of the White House’s transparently ridiculous talking points about videos that very accurately illustrated Biden’s mental and physical decline.

On the same day, David Ingram of NBC News — a network that doesn’t get nearly enough credit for its hackery — published a piece headlined, “The deceptive Biden G7 video was quickly debunked, but it kept going viral anyway.” It was a full-court press. Joe Biden Trashes Supreme Court, Ignores All Questions From Media Following Disastrous Debate

President Joe Biden struggled on Monday in his first remarks since his disastrous debate performance last week and refused to answer all questions from reporters.

Biden’s remarks came in response to the U.S. Supreme Court ruling this week that presidents are immune from criminal prosecution for official acts they make as president, but not official conduct.

Critics noticed that Biden, who only managed to be able off a teleprompter for about four minutes before having to call it quits, came to the press looking orange after he appeared a pasty white color during last week’s debate.

“This nation was founded on the principle that there are no kings in America. Each of us is equal before the law. No one, no one is above the law, not even the president of the United States,” Biden said. “But today’s Supreme Court decision on presidential immunity, that fundamentally changed. For all practical purposes, today’s decision almost certainly means that there are virtually no limits on what the president can do. This is a fundamentally new principle and it’s a dangerous precedent.” (Read more from “Joe Biden Trashes Supreme Court, Ignores All Questions From Media Following Disastrous Debate” HERE)

New Whistleblower Report Corroborates Charges of FBI Retaliation

The House Judiciary Committee received a new whistleblower complaint Tuesday morning corroborating previous reports of political retaliation within the FBI.

On Friday, attorneys sent a complaint for an anonymous supervisory special agent (SSA) to the Justice Department inspector general and the department’s Office of Professional Responsibility. The complainant, who is a registered Democrat and has won awards as an agent for work against child trafficking, reports witnessing colleagues within the FBI experience political retribution. The whistleblower also claimed to have been retaliated against. The complaints were submitted to the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government and shared with The Federalist.

According to the disclosures, the latest whistleblower “witnessed firsthand as an SSA how the FBI’s Security Division improperly suspended or revoked employees’ security clearances whose political views, medical views, or even ethnicity were questioned by Security Division leadership.”

“The outcomes of clearance investigations and adjudications were often pre-determined by the Division’s acting Deputy Assistant Director and the acting Section Chief responsible for security clearance investigations and adjudications, who often overruled line staff and even dictated the wording of documents in the clearance process,” the disclosure read.

The special agent in question was suspended last year after serving half a decade as an SSA since 2018. Protected disclosures were particularly made against Jeffrey Veltri, the acting deputy assistant director of the FBI’s Security Division, and Dena Perkins, the acting section chief for the Security Integrity and Investigations Section. Remember When Hundreds of Illegal Aliens Stormed the Southern Border? Well…

Dozens of illegal aliens who stormed the U.S.-Mexico border in March were released into the country, according to a report from the New York Post.

Reportedly, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) spokesperson confirmed to The Post that the illegals were released into the United States. In May, a judge in El Paso dismissed the criminal charges against all the border-crossers on a technicality, the outlet added.

The illegal immigrants accused of taking part in the riot were then released from state custody and handed over to ICE, where 43 of them were reportedly released into the country.

The spokesperson told the Post that ICE determines who is released on a “case-by-case basis.”

“ERO [Enforcement and Removal Operations] officers make decisions on associated enforcement actions and apply prosecutorial discretion, where applicable, in a responsible manner, informed by their experience as law enforcement professionals and in a way that best protects the communities we serve,” the spokesperson said. Judge Postpones Trump’s New York Sentencing to September 18

A judge postponed Tuesday Donald Trump’s sentencing for covering up hush money payments until September 18, the first fallout of a Supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity, pushing it to after the Republican convention.

The United States’ top court ruled Monday that Trump enjoys some immunity from prosecution as a former president, a decision also set to delay his trial for conspiring to overturn the 2020 election.

Hours after the ruling was announced, Trump’s legal team said in a letter to the New York court that the immunity ruling vindicated Trump’s position that he should not be judged for his “official acts,” and reiterated his call for the conviction to be set aside.

The sentencing had been scheduled for July 11, days before the Republican National Convention on July 15 at which Trump is expected to be proclaimed the party’s nominee for the battle against President Joe Biden for the White House.

“The matter is adjourned to September 18, 2024, at 10 am for the imposition of sentence, if such is still necessary,” Judge Juan Merchan said in a court filing to allow time for consideration of the bombshell Supreme Court ruling. Steve Bannon Begins Prison Term, Here’s What His Life Will Look Like

. . .Steve Bannon will join hundreds of political prisoners who have been wrongfully incarcerated during the Biden administration when he turns himself into the Federal Correctional Institution Danbury, a low-security federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut.

Some suspect the former White House chief strategist will be housed in protective custody of the Sentencing Handling Unit, or SHU, of the Danbury prison as have been other high-profile celebrity inmates.

But FCI Danbury, which houses over 1,000 inmates, most of whom are sex offenders, doesn’t have individual cells. Instead, inmates are housed in open pods.

A Jan. 6 political prisoner, who has been transferred to 26 correctional facilities while in pretrial detention, described what life will look like for Bannon behind the gates of the Connecticut prison.

“If Bannon were to be sent to a U.S. penitentiary, he would be killed, but the low security prison in Danbury is where most prisoners would prefer to do their time,” political prisoner Ryan Samsel told WorldNetDaily in an exclusive interview on a surveilled call from MDC Brooklyn, a prison where inmates are regularly stabbed to death.
