U.S. Offers $10 Million Reward for Arrest of Russian Who Allegedly Developed Software That Siphoned $500 Million

Federal prosecutors charged a Russian national in absentia with creating, developing and administering one of the world’s most prolific ransomware attacks since 2019, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced Tuesday. The DOJ also announced a $10 million reward for the Russian’s arrest.

“Today, we are announcing that Dmitry [Yuryevich] Khoroshev, a Russian national, is charged in a 26-count indictment with committing and conspiring to commit LockBit attacks,” Nicole Argentieri, Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General for the DOJ’s Criminal Division, announced Tuesday.

Khoroshev, 31, of Voronezh, Russia allegedly created, developed and administered LockBit. “[T]his malicious cyber scheme … has targeted over 2,000 victims and stolen more than $100 million in ransomware payments,” said Attorney General Merrick B. Garland, according to the DOJ’s statement.

Some 2,500 victims — from individuals and small businesses to multinationals, law enforcement, and governments — in at least 120 countries paid at least $500 million in ransom after LockBit intruded into and disrupted their systems, seizing troves of data since Sept. 2019. Some 1,800 of the victims are in the United States, the DOJ’s statement revealed.

Khoroshev — alias LockBitSupp, LockBit, and putinkrab — pocketed $100 million of the proceeds, the DOJ alleged. He kept the data of victims who paid the ransom, reneging on his promise to delete their data after receiving the payments, and threatened to leak the data of those who did not pay, the DOJ further alleged. LockBit’s victims also reportedly lost revenue and spent money trying to recover their hijacked systems to the tune of billions of dollars.

Illegal Alien Allegedly Kidnaps 11-Year-Old Girl, Rapes Her in Van

An illegal immigrant in Florida is being held without bond after he allegedly grabbed an 11-year-old girl by the hand, dragged her into a van, and sexually assaulted her.

Around 9 p.m. last Thursday, 20-year-old Marvin Perez Lopez, a Guatemalan national, was standing near a van parked outside his apartment in Lake Worth Beach, Florida, just a few miles south of West Palm Beach. He then spotted an 11-year-old girl who likewise lived in the apartment complex.

Lopez allegedly grabbed the girl by the hand and ordered her to “get into the van,” an affidavit claimed. He then allegedly began touching the girl in a way that made her uncomfortable. At one point, she managed to escape, but the suspect grabbed her once again and threw her back inside the vehicle, where he forced himself on her.

Meanwhile, the girl’s mother had gone looking for her daughter. When she spotted the van, she began screaming and banging on the windows. Police soon arrived, but the perpetrator had fled the area.

On Saturday, police found Lopez and booked him into the Palm Beach County jail on several charges, including kidnapping to sexually assault a minor, sexual assault of a victim under 12, and resisting an officer. American Media Censors the Horrors of October 7 as Joe Biden Funds Their Creator

If you turn on the news, you’ll see constant video footage of the destruction in Gaza — but the news will never show the horrific crimes that occurred on October 7.

“The American media are censoring what took place on October 7,” Mark Levin explains, adding, “it’s being covered up.”

“Why? Because they’re graphic beyond comprehension. They’re unimaginable. Meanwhile, President Joe Biden continues to refuse to stand up for Israel.

“Antony Blinken and he have stirred anti-Semitism not only in this country but around the world with the blood libels they have used to accuse Netanyahu and his government, the Israeli, and the IDF. The forces of righteousness and the forces of self-defense,” Levin says.

Prosecutor Who Questioned Stormy Daniels During Trump Hush Money Trial Donated to Biden’s 2020 Campaign

The Manhattan prosecutor who questioned porn star Stormy Daniels Tuesday about her alleged sexual encounter with former President Donald Trump has a long history of giving money to Democrats, including to President Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign.

Susan Hoffinger gave the Biden campaign $250 in February 2020 and made a subsequent $250 contribution the following month, according to Election Commission documents.

Along with her $500 donation to the Biden campaign, Hoffinger, who was hired by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg in 2022, also contributed more than $900 to ActBlue during the 2020 election cycle.

ActBlue is the fundraising platform used by numerous Democratic politicians and liberal organizations.

Hoffinger appears to have donated exclusively to Democrats going back to 2004, filings with the FEC show, with her first contributions going to former Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry. FBI Admits to Staging Trump Crime Scene Photo with Props

Recent revelations have surfaced regarding the infamous crime scene photo depicting classified documents allegedly discovered at Mar-a-Lago, fueling widespread speculation about Trump’s involvement. The photo, featuring stark red “classification” cover sheets, captured public attention in the aftermath of the raid, prompting intense scrutiny from media outlets.

New developments have shed light on the origins of the cover sheets featured in the photo. In a recent court filing, it was disclosed that FBI agents had brought the cover sheets to the scene to mark classified documents, using them as placeholders. However, discrepancies emerged regarding the accurate matching of these placeholders with the corresponding documents.

According to Waltine Nauta, Trump’s defense attorney, the placeholders brought by the FBI were not appropriately aligned with the classified documents seized during the raid. This discrepancy was highlighted in Nauta’s filing, indicating a potential flaw in the investigation process.

Further scrutiny revealed that a significant number of documents, over a hundred in total, bore classification markings, with some accompanied by colored cover sheets denoting their classified status. However, it was disclosed that the FBI agents failed to accurately match these cover sheets with the respective documents during the staging process.

The gravity of this oversight was underscored by Kelly’s report, which suggested that misplacement of placeholders could jeopardize the integrity of the case, particularly if crucial documents were mishandled. In response to these revelations, FBI spokesperson Bratt acknowledged that the placeholders had been rearranged at the scene and conceded that not all of them were correctly matched with the corresponding documents. Blue State Bill Could Ban Immensely Popular Pistol

The New York state Legislature is considering a bill that could ban the popular semi-automatic pistols manufactured by Glock, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Democratic State Sen. Zellnor Myrie of New York, who represents Brooklyn, will introduce the bill in the New York State Senate Tuesday, the WSJ reported. The legislation will require firearms manufacturers to alter their firearms to prevent easy conversion to fire fully-automatic or the pistols would be banned.

Myrie claimed that so-called “Glock switches” and “pistol converters” were a threat to his constituents, according to the WSJ. The parts, capable of being made by 3D printers, are the latest target of New York legislators, who also banned so-called “ghost guns” and bump stocks in past legislation, the WSJ reported.

Myrie’s proposed bill was celebrated by the Bloomberg-funded gun-control group Everytown in a post thread on X.

Report: Biden Withholding Weapons From Israel; Dems Impeached Trump Over Ukraine Aid

A new report appears to confirm earlier claims that the Biden administration has been withholding arms from Israel in an attempt to send a message of disapproval about Israel’s policy of entering Rafah to finish off Hamas terrorists.

Breitbart News reported earlier in the week about claims in other publications that the U.S. had been withholding aid. Israel denied any delay, but the White House gave a noncommittal reply to reporters’ questions in a briefing Monday.

Politico reported Tuesday that the claims appear to have been correct, and referred to specific “smart” bombs:

The Biden administration is holding up shipments of two types of Boeing-made precision bombs to send a political message to Israel, according to a U.S. official and six other people with knowledge of the deliberations.

The U.S. has yet to sign off on a pending sale of Boeing’s Joint Direct Attack Munitions — both the munitions and kits that convert them to smart weapons — and Small Diameter Bombs, according to six industry and congressional sources with knowledge of the discussions.

The munitions were ready to be shipped to Israel when word of the hold came down, said one senior congressional aide and two other people familiar with the incident. A third person, an industry official, said the administration told Boeing to halt the shipment since the approval was held up for “political reasons,” and not because of supply chain strain.

Stormy Daniels Takes the Witness Stand in Trump’s NY Trial

As the third week of witness testimony in Donald Trump’s hush money trial takes place, all eyes are on who will be called next and whether the former president will be able to abide by the terms of his now twice-broken gag order that bars him from speaking publicly about jurors, witnesses and some others connected to the case.

Porn actor Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, was called to the witness stand by mid-morning, following testimony from a Penguin Random House executive.

Before Monday’s testimony began, Judge Juan M. Merchan found Trump in contempt of court for a second time, fining him $1,000 for a single violation and sternly warning the loquacious former president that jail time would be considered for future violations “if necessary and appropriate.”

Two people tied to the Trump Organization took the stand on Monday — former controller Jeffrey McConney and accounts payable supervisor Deborah Tarasoff — elaborating on a key piece of the charges against Trump: Michael Cohen’s reimbursement for the $130,000 Daniels payment.

Tuesday’s witness testimony is set to dig further into the events and people involved in what prosecutors have said was a scheme to influence the 2016 presidential election by buying and burying negative stories about the then-candidate. Perhaps it was an untrained intern, perhaps not, but the claim comes out of Joe Biden’s campaign for re-election and it’s getting scorched online.

It’s the wild statement that “Wages are rising faster than prices” and “We’re making real progress.”

The campaign actually said, “Wages are rising faster than prices, incomes are higher than before the pandemic, and unemployment has remained below 4% for the longest stretch in 50 years. We have more to do to lower costs for hardworking families, but we’re making real progress.” . . .

It was NewsnationNow that reported, “For most of the Biden presidency — every month from April 2021 to April 2023 — price increases have outpaced wage growth, eating away at consumers’ purchasing power.”

Report: Email Unveils Attempt to Introduce Chinese Company, Deemed National Security ‘Risk,’ to U.S.

In a recent revelation, it has been uncovered that an economic development corporation in Ohio actively engaged with a Chinese-owned company flagged as a potential national security risk by U.S. authorities. According to communications reviewed by the Daily Caller News Foundation, JobsOhio, a private economic development corporation funded by the JobsOhio Beverage System, collaborated with Fufeng USA, a subsidiary of China-based Fufeng Group, to explore the establishment of a facility in the state.

The correspondence indicates that Matthew Davis, representing “RGP Northwest Ohio/JobsOhio,” initiated discussions with officials from Paulding County regarding the potential siting of Fufeng USA’s facility in or near Defiance, Ohio, in May 2023. Despite warnings from the U.S. Air Force about Fufeng USA’s operations posing a significant national security threat, JobsOhio proceeded with discussions.

Fufeng USA, specializing in bio-fermentation for livestock feed supplements, has ties to the Chinese Communist Party through its parent company, Fufeng Group. This connection, coupled with Fufeng USA’s plans to establish a plant in North Dakota, drew concerns from U.S. authorities. The U.S. Air Force expressed apprehension, citing both immediate and long-term risks to national security due to the plant’s proximity to sensitive military installations.

Moreover, Fufeng Group’s founder and chairman, Li Xuechun, has a political background within the Chinese Communist Party, having served on committees and received accolades from government entities. Li’s association with the CCP raises further questions about the company’s intentions and potential influence.

While JobsOhio and its partner organizations engaged in preliminary discussions with Fufeng USA, they eventually decided not to pursue the opportunity further.
