Nikki Haley Announces Who She’s Voting For

Former U.N. ambassador and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R) has revealed which 2024 candidate she plans to cast her vote for in November.

In a surprise change of heart, Haley said that she would vote for her GOP rival, former President Donald Trump over President Joe Biden.

Haley’s support of Trump could potentially boost the former president’s 2024 chances after some voters have continually cast their votes for the governor despite dropping out of the race.

In Wisconsin, a key battleground state, 20.8 percent of Republican primary voters cast a ballot for a candidate that wasn’t Trump or Biden. Despite suspending her campaign a month ago, Haley received more than 12 percent, or 76,000 votes, in the state. In comparison, in 2020, Biden won Wisconsin by over 20,000 votes against Trump.

During a conservative think tank, Haley said that Biden has been “a catastrophe” for the country, resulting in her vote going for Trump. (Read more from “Nikki Haley Announces Who She’s Voting For” HERE)

Trump’s Most Iconic Campaign Tool Is Nowhere to Be Seen as He Languishes in NY Courtroom

Hitting the campaign trail for the first time during his New York criminal trial, former President Donald Trump told a group of his supporters on April 16 that the courtroom was affecting his ability to see the people.

“They want to keep me off the campaign trail, but based on what I am doing, I think there is more press here than if I went to a nice location,” Trump said.

Trump has hosted just a fraction of his famous campaign rallies during 2024 that he did in 2016, an analysis by the Daily Caller found. In 2016, from Jan. 1 to May 7, Trump held 132 rallies across 43 states. During the same date range in 2024, the former president has held just 24 rallies in 11 states.

Since April 15, when Trump’s court case in Manhattan began, only allowing him Wednesdays and weekends free, the former president has held just three rallies. Through the same time period in 2016, Trump conducted 28 rallies.

The former president was granted May 17 off from court, but he instead used the day to attend his son’s high school graduation. (Read more from “Trump’s Most Iconic Campaign Tool Is Nowhere to Be Seen as He Languishes in NY Courtroom” HERE)

FBI Was Authorized to Use ‘Deadly Force’ in Mar-a-Lago Raid

On August 8, 2022, former and potentially future President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence faced an unannounced FBI raid in a search for classified documents. Trump was not there at the time. Close to two years after the raid, and less than six month away from the 2024 presidential election, we know now that the FBI was authorized to use “deadly force.”

Coverage from The New York Post cites court documents unsealed on Tuesday in a motion to dismiss and suppress from Trump’s attorneys in the case of United States v. Trump. As the report mentioned:

The Department of Justice authorized “the use of deadly force” when FBI agents swarmed former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in August 2022 looking for classified documents, according to court filings Tuesday.

The authorities also were told to conceal their “law enforcement equipment” and come armed with “ammo,” “handcuffs” and “medium and large sized bolt cutters,” notes the filing by lawyers for the former president.

According to the lawyers, Todd Blanche and Christopher Kise, the nearly 10-hour “unconstitutional” search swept through the Palm Beach estate’s gym and kitchen, as well as the bedroom suite of former first lady Melania Trump and the bedroom of the couple’s teenage son Barron Trump.

Deputy Assistant Attorney General George Toscas, in a phone call in the days leading up to the raid, allegedly said he “frankly [didn’t] give a damn about the optics” of the recovery operation.

Attorney General Merrick Garland has said he “personally approved the decision to seek a search warrant.”

Evidence in the court filing reveals an earlier back-and-forth between Trump’s lawyer and a prosecutor working for special counsel Jack Smith over retrieving the documents.

Top Mike Johnson Communications Staffer to Depart, Continuing Senior Staff Exodus

Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) is losing another senior staffer, continuing a troubling senior staff exodus in the Speaker’s office.

Raj Shah, Speaker Johnson’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications, is leaving the Speaker’s office soon, multiple sources told Breitbart News. It was confirmed by Axios Tuesday night after Breitbart News alerted Johnson’s office of an imminent story.

Shah was one of Johnson’s first hires after ascending to the speakership. Shah has been the Speaker’s key messaging staffer since being hired in October, assembling the Speaker’s extensive communications staff largely from scratch.

When confronted late Tuesday evening and told by Breitbart News that this report was forthcoming, Shah did not deny his intent to resign from Johnson’s office but instead asked Breitbart to hold the story. Breitbart declined his request. . .

“Because of the unprecedented circumstances under which I became Speaker, I needed an experienced leader with talent and gravitas to build and drive our message,” Johnson told Axios. “I am grateful Raj agreed to step up and serve. He has become a trusted advisor and built an incredible communications team. Raj has fulfilled his commitment to us and I wish him continued success.” (Read more from “Top Mike Johnson Communications Staffer to Depart, Continuing Senior Staff Exodus” HERE)

This NFL Player Confirms He Turned down Opportunity to Become RFK Jr.’s VP

The rumors that Aaron Rodgers had been legitimately offered the opportunity to retire and become Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s running mate were true.

Speaking to reporters at the Jets facility on Tuesday, Rodgers was asked how serious the talks between him and RFK Jr. were regarding him becoming the Independent candidate’s vice presidential selection.

As Rodgers explained, it was quite serious.

“I love Bobby,” Rodgers said. “We had a couple of really nice conversations. But there were really two options — retire and be his VP or keep playing. And I wanna keep playing.”

Rodgers has been a vocal supporter of Kennedy and a fan of his stances on vaccinations. (Read more from “This NFL Player Confirms He Turned down Opportunity to Become RFK Jr.’s VP” HERE)

Police: Homeless Man Dragged Female Jogger by the Hair Toward Public Restroom

A woman was attacked by a homeless man while she was jogging in Santa Monica, and witnesses say he was trying to drag her into the public restrooms by her ponytail.

The Santa Monica Police Department said they responded to reports about the harrowing incident on May 13 at about 7:14 a.m. on Ocean Beach Walk near lifeguard tower 20.

“The victim, a Venice resident, was jogging southbound on the beach path when the suspect grabbed her ponytail from behind, knocking her to the ground,” police said in a statement.

“He then pulled her several feet toward the restrooms.”

Police said they found both the alleged attacker and the woman near the Bicknell restrooms and took him into custody without incident. (Read more from “Police: Homeless Man Dragged Female Jogger by the Hair Toward Public Restroom” HERE)

Woke Sports Writer Demands Harrison Butker Lose His Job to a Woman — But He Accidentally Makes Ironic Admission

The Kansas City Star published an essay demanding that the Kansas City Chiefs drop kicker Harrison Butker and hire a woman as his replacement. . .

As punishment for expressing his personal views, journalist Peter Hamm said Butker deserves “poetic justice” for his “Neanderthal outburst”: losing his job to a woman. . .

Hamm, who has connections to Democrats and liberal advocacy groups, claimed that successful female soccer players and a few examples of women attempting placekicking at the collegiate level are sufficient evidence to prove “the fact that girls can kick.” He even suggested that Maya Turner, a placekicker at the University of Manitoba, could be as good as Butker one day.

Then, in a bout of extreme irony, Hamm revealed his own views on the ability of female placekickers.

“Harrison Butker is not Patrick Mahomes. He’s a special teams player. That gives him less leverage with the team,” Hamm wrote. “They could trade him for a solid kicker, or they could make a statement by signing a woman to kick.” (Read more from “Woke Sports Writer Demands Harrison Butker Lose His Job to a Woman — But He Accidentally Makes Ironic Admission” HERE)

Congress Wants Report on Judge’s Role in Weaponizing Courts Against Trump

It apparently is not just bureaucrats, functionaries and prosecutors involved in the weaponization of the government against President Donald Trump.

That agenda has been obvious in recent months as multiple state and federal cases have been launched against him, sometimes as in the “hush money” case on trial in New York now the allegations are based on facts that multiple prosecutors earlier said did not make a case. . .

Reps. Jim Jordan and Elise Stefanik confirmed Tuesday they are investigating the dismissal of Stefanik’s misconduct complaint against Washington, D.C., federal judge Beryl Howell.

The focus in Howell’s potentially prejudicial statements about Trump’s criminal case involving the 2020 election.

The members of Congress have written Sri Srinivasan, the chief judge of the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, requesting a report on how that concern, essentially, was torpedoed. (Read more from “Congress Wants Report on Judge’s Role in Weaponizing Courts Against Trump” HERE)

Poll Reveals Which Vice President Pick Most Helps Trump With Voters

A recent poll found that voters say they would be more likely to support former President Donald Trump if Republican South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott is on the ticket in 2024.

Scott leads the field of possible vice presidential contenders, including former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, Republican Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York and former independent Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii, according to a recent Harvard-Harris Poll. Scott drew 25% among voters who said they were more likely to vote for Trump if he was on the ballot, followed by 23% for Ramaswamy and 22% for Rubio.

Stefanik polled the lowest across all voters with only 13% reporting they would likely vote for a Trump-Stefanik ticket, while Gabbard received 19% support. Also mentioned as possible picks to be Trump’s running mate includes Republican Gov. Kristi Noem of South Dakota, who received 16% support of those surveyed, and Republican Gov. Doug Burgum was favored by 15% of those polled.

Trump previously named Scott as a potential vice presidential pick on a Fox News town hall in February. Republican Sen. J.D. Vance of Ohio and Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida have also been mentioned as possible selections, but their possible candidacies were not surveyed in this portion of the poll. ‘Gender Neutral Restrooms’ Grace U.S. Military Academies

It was just one more sign that Marxist “woke” ideology has infiltrated the U.S. military and its service academies.

Last month, a sign directing United States Air Force Academy cadets to a “Gender Neutral Restroom” could be found in the hall of one of the nation’s most esteemed military service academies. Prior to this story’s publication on WND, the sign, provided to WND by a cadet, was removed.

Of course, the sign points to a much larger, systemic problem that continues to plague the nation’s military: The Marxist policies of the far Left. WND spoke with Air Force Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Rod Bishop, chairman of Stand Together Against Racism and Radicalism in the Services, Inc., or STARRS – an organization standing against “woke” ideology in the U.S. military and its service academies.

In conversation with some of the U.S. Air Force Academy cadets, Bishop notes that on the one hand, many are “too scared to speak up,” but on the other, some cadets are growing increasingly determined to stop “the push of leftist ideologies.”

So while he praises the courage of cadets willing to confide in him and share their stories, Bishop told WND, “Our military needs a real cultural change.” For him, there is “no question that neo-Marxist ideology has captured the minds” of many of today’s military leaders.
