Dozens of FBI Sources Gave ‘Criminal Information’ on Bidens That DOJ Tried to Discredit as ‘Foreign Disinformation’: Grassley

More than 40 confidential sources provided “criminal information” related to the Biden family to the FBI — which the Justice Department tried to discredit as “foreign disinformation,” according to Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley.

The confidential human sources, managed by several different FBI field offices, supplied the bureau with details of potential crimes by Hunter Biden, James Biden and Joe Biden dating back to his time as vice president, according to a letter, obtained by The Post, that was sent by the Iowa Republican to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland on Tuesday.

“This letter is based on years of investigation, including the provision of information, records, and allegations from multiple Justice Department whistleblowers that indicate there is – and has been – an effort among certain Justice Department and FBI officials to improperly delay and stop full and complete investigative activity into the Biden family,” Grassley wrote.

“An essential question that must be answered is this: did the FBI investigate the information or shut it down? Indeed, if those sources were improperly shut down, it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for the FBI,” he added.

Senate Passes Measure Protecting Vets’ 2A Rights From Veteran Admin Overreach

On Wednesday, the Senate passed Sen. John Kennedy’s (R-LA) amendment protecting military veterans’ Second Amendment rights from Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) overreach.

During the end of Barack Obama’s second term as President, Breitbart News pointed to a Los Angeles Times report showing veterans’ concern over losing their 2A rights if they needed help managing their money.

According to the Times, “A strategy used by the Department of Veterans Affairs” meant that veterans “declared incompetent to manage pension or disability payments and assigned a fiduciary” were reported to the National Instant Criminal Background Checks System (NICS). The report to NICS meant they could not longer buy a firearm. . .

But various sources indicate Biden’s VA has continued reporting veterans to NICS.

For example, Fox News noted the policy still exists. “Under current law, the Department of Veterans Affairs reports a veteran’s name to the FBI’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System when they seek help managing their finances in a conservatorship,” according to the report.

At Least 22 Reportedly Killed in Maine Mass Shootings

At least 22 people have reportedly been killed and many others injured during shootings Wednesday night in Maine.

“Law Enforcement is attempting to locate Robert Card 4/4/1983, as a person of interest regarding the mass shooting at Schemengees Bar and Sparetime Recreation this evening. CARD should be considered armed and dangerous. Please contact law enforcement if you are aware of his whereabouts,” the Lewiston Maine Police Department wrote on Facebook. The post includes a photo of the man.

In a prior post, the department shared the image of a vehicle and asked anyone who recognized it to contact police. “It is believed that the front bumper may be painted black,” the post noted.

A vehicle of interest has been found in Lisbon, Maine, Mike Sauschuck, commissioner of the Maine Department of Public Safety, noted in a news briefing, according to CNN.

NBC News reported that according to a Lewiston police source, at least 22 people were killed. Fifty to 60 individuals were wounded, the outlet reported, citing four law enforcement officials briefed on the issue. (Read more from “At Least 22 Reportedly Killed in Maine Mass Shootings” HERE)

New Yorkers Are Leaving in Droves for This Red State, Report Shows

Over 500,000 New Yorkers left for other states in 2022, according to a report from the New York Post.

Reportedly, the top destinations for the 545,498 residents who left the state include Florida, followed by New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Texas, and California. With 301,000 new residents moving to New York, the state suffered a net population loss of 244,000.

About 91,000 people who left the state moved to Florida. About 75,000 moved to New Jersey, 50,000 to Connecticut and 44,000 to Pennsylvania. Around 31,000 New Yorkers moved to California and 30,000 moved to Texas. For Texas, specifically, this was an increase of 67 percent from 2019.

Other destinations New Yorkers moved to include North Carolina, Massachusetts, Virginia and Georgia. Less than 500 New Yorkers moved to Wyoming, Montana, Iowa, Mississippi and South Dakota.

Deep State Preps Gavin Newsom for Presidency, Has Him Meet With Xi in China

California Gov. Gavin Newsom met with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday in Beijing, in the latest sign of thawing U.S-China relations amid rising geopolitical conflicts.

The Democratic governor has been in China this week on a visit billed as focused on climate change, in line with California’s nation-leading emissions policies. He said his meeting with Xi focused on climate as well as fentanyl exports, which the Biden administration has been trying to curb through sanctions on Chinese chemical companies. . .

“The president was rather explicit about the desire to be even more specific in terms of what is needed, in terms of calling out and identifying where these chemicals are going,” Newsom told reporters after the meeting.

Newsom’s emphasis on climate change and subnational cooperation as avenues for diplomacy between the U.S. and China may have paid off. The trip should pave the way for a meeting between President Joe Biden and Xi Jinping at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit in San Francisco next month in Newsom’s hometown. 20+ U.S. Personnel Injured in Iran-Backed Attacks in Iraq, Syria

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said on Tuesday that two dozen American military personnel were injured during drone attacks by Iran-backed militia groups in Iraq and Syria last week.

CENTCOM told NBC News that 20 United States personnel suffered minor injuries during the October 18 drone attack on the al-Tanf military base in southern Syria. All of the injured personnel were able to return to duty, and the base suffered no significant damage.

Four more American military personnel were injured during two drone attacks on United States and coalition forces at the Ain al-Asad airbase in western Iraq on October 18. All four of the injured personnel were able to return to duty. In one of those attacks, debris from an intercepted drone destroyed a small aircraft hangar.

CENTCOM’s remarks to NBC were the first public statement about casualties incurred during attacks by Iranian proxy forces since the beginning of the Israel-Hamas war. An umbrella group for the militias calling itself the “Islamic Resistance in Iraq” (IRI) claimed it was able to kill several American soldiers with its attacks, but the Pentagon insisted there were no fatalities.

Pentagon press secretary Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder said on Tuesday there were at least ten attacks against United States and coalition forces in Iraq between October 17 and 24, plus three in Syria, using “a mix of one-way attack drones and rockets.” (Read more from “20+ U.S. Personnel Injured in Iran-Backed Attacks in Iraq, Syria” HERE)

Israel War: Biden Has ‘No Confidence’ in Gaza Death Numbers

President Joe Biden said he has “no confidence” that the death toll provided by Palestinian authorities is accurate.

The Palestinian Health Ministry, which is overseen by Hamas, claims that 6,546 Gazans have been killed since Oct. 7, with 17,439 wounded. They also claim that another 100 Palestinians in the West Bank have been killed over the same period, with 1,650 wounded. However, Biden cast doubt on the veracity of those figures on Wednesday when presented with the figures by PBS correspondent Laura Barrón-López.

“In the 18 days since Hamas killed 1,400 Israelis, the Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry says Israeli forces have killed over 6,000 Palestinians, including 2,700 children,” Barrón-López said. “You’ve previously asked Netanyahu to minimize civilian casualties. Do these numbers say to you that he’s ignoring that message?”

“What they say to me is I have no notion that the Palestinians are telling the truth about how many people are killed,” Biden responded.

Trump: U.S. Is ‘More Vulnerable From Inside Terror Attacks Than at Any Time in Its History’

The United States is “more vulnerable from inside terror attacks than at any time in its history,” former President Donald Trump said on Tuesday following a memo from the San Diego Field Office Intelligence Division of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) warning that members of terrorist groups — namely Hamas, Hezbollah, and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) — could be encountered at the porous southern border.

“With the millions of people that Crooked Joe Biden has allowed into the United States through his ridiculous Open Borders Policy, mostly young men, and large numbers of TERRORISTS, the U.S. is more vulnerable from inside terror attacks than at any time in its history, BY FAR!” Trump exclaimed on Truth Social, ending with, “MAGA.”

Trump’s proclamation comes weeks after the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas attacked Israel, murdering at least 1,400 individuals. Secretary of State Antony Blinken: Americans Must Accept Migrants

President Joe Biden’s foreign policy chief, Antony Blinken, says Americans must give foreigners the opportunity to migrate into their U.S. homeland.

“You have to give them an opportunity to do that,” Secretary of State Antony Blinken said at an event at Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy in Texas.

Blinken did not urge his government peers to enforce the immigration laws that protect Americans from employers who hire illegal immigrants that undercut Americans’ bargaining power in the labor market. He also did not mention the many polls showing the growing public opposition to Biden’s mass illegal migration.

Instead, he described migration as a natural and inevitable process — an opportunity for government officials and experts to better manage, exploit, channel, and redirect. “We are going to make migration safe, humane, and orderly, which we have to do,” said the veteran Democrat appointee. Trump Thanks Former Rival for Surprising 2024 Endorsement

Former President Donald Trump, no stranger to attacking political rivals with derisive nicknames, thanked former Republican presidential candidate Perry Johnson for his endorsement in the 2024 primary race this week.

Johnson ended his long-shot campaign on Friday in a lengthy statement in which he cited “corruption among leaders at the RNC” as “appalling.” The Michigan businessman often polled at 0%, didn’t qualify for the first two GOP primary debates, and was not on track to meet the qualifications for next month’s debate in Miami.

Yet on Monday, Johnson announced he was endorsing Trump, claiming, “There is now only one candidate in this race who can provide a solution to our nation’s economic, foreign policy and social crises, and most importantly, beat Joe Biden at the ballot box.”

Johnson also referenced his support of Trump’s first two presidential campaigns in 2016 and 2020 in his endorsement. “During President Trump’s first term, our nation saw historic peace agreements, no new wars, an economic revival, and forged a new path forward away from corrupt, establishment career politicians,” Johnson said. “I supported President Trump in 2016 and 2020, and am proud to offer him my full endorsement once again as he seeks the Republican nomination for President in 2024.” (Read more from “Trump Thanks Former Rival for Surprising 2024 Endorsement” HERE)
