‘Tickling the Dragon’s Tale’: U.S. To Prepare for Underground Testing of Nuclear Weapons Without Any Explosions

The scientists in charge of making sure nuclear weapons in the U.S. stockpile are still functioning are set to start moving key components to the desert in Nevada in November to prepare for underground testing.

Those at national defense laboratories have not been able to confirm the effectiveness and reliability of nuclear warheads since 1992, when an underground test ban was instituted. However, the Associated Press reported that Energy Department officials announced on Thursday that they have figured out the next best thing, which has been referred to as “tickling the dragon’s tale.”

The $1.8 billion Scorpius project could move beyond the theoretical computing model to research, in detail, what goes into a nuclear implosion without carrying out a nuclear explosion. The report noted that this strategy could be put in place as early as 2027, according to Jon Custer, head of the Sandia project.

Custer noted that the reason why this strategy is referred to as “tickling the dragon’s tail” is because the experiment approaches but remains below the phase at which nuclear materials ignite a series of chain reactions, according to the report. The question scientists are trying to answer is whether U.S. nuclear weapons are still operative. Ex-Trump National Security Adviser: Biden’s Ransom to Iran Incentivized Hamas to Take American Hostages

Former Trump National Security Adviser Robert C. O’Brien criticized the Biden administration for paying Iran $6 billion in ransom money, saying that it incentivized Hamas to take Americans in Israel hostage on Saturday as it launched a number of terrorist attacks across the country.

“While welcoming our Iran hostages home, I said at the time — paying ransom (eg unfreezing $6 billion) is problematic because it incentivizes new hostage taking & gives terrorists money for new operations. I didn’t think we would see these points illustrated so vividly, so quickly,” O’Brien posted on X.

O’Brien served during the Trump administration as the special presidential envoy for hostage affairs from 2018 through 2019 and helped secure the release of American pastor Andrew Brunson from Turkey in 2018. He also helped secure the release of Danny Burch, an American oil worker in Yemen.

O’Brien said he called on President Joe Biden on Saturday to deploy the FBI Hostage Rescue Team and Joint Special Operations Command’s hostage extraction forces to assist Israel.

“We now know [American citizens] have been taken by Hamas,” O’Brien posted. “Those teams should be airborne to the region now to be in a position to rescue our countrymen.”

Police Beef up Security at Jewish Synagogues Across U.S. After Hamas Attacks Israel

Police in major cities across the United States are taking extra precautions to protect Jewish citizens as Israel goes to war against Hamas following a surprise attack by the militant group during a period of Jewish holidays over the weekend.

In New York City, which has the largest Jewish population in the world outside of Israel, Mayor Eric Adams announced on Saturday that efforts were underway to identify “potential threats” and that he was in communication with top New York Police Department officials.

“While there is no credible threat to New York City at this time, our administration is in touch with Jewish leaders across the five boroughs, and we have directed the NYPD to deploy additional resources to Jewish communities and houses of worship citywide to ensure that our communities have the resources they need to make sure everyone feels safe,” Adams added.

Law enforcement in nearby New Jersey “will be increasing patrols in sensitive areas – particularly houses of worship for both the Jewish and Islamic faiths – and taking other steps out of an abundance of caution,” said Attorney General Matthew Platkin. Pentagon Sends Largest Aircraft Carrier to the Middle East, Says Military Aid Will Soon Reach Israel

The Pentagon will send aircraft and its largest aircraft carrier to the Eastern Mediterranean in a show of force to support Israel in its war against Hamas terrorists, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said in a statement Sunday.

The Pentagon will begin transferring an unspecified amount of security assistance to Israel, including ammunition, Sunday that is expected to reach the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in “the coming days,” Austin said in the statement. Meanwhile, Austin, at the direction of President Joe Biden, has ordered the U.S.S. Gerald R. Ford along with its strike group to the Eastern Mediterranean and moved to enhance fighter aircraft squadrons in the region.

“We have also taken steps to augment U.S. Air Force F-35, F-15, F-16, and A-10 fighter aircraft squadrons in the region,” Austin said. “The U.S. maintains ready forces globally to further reinforce this deterrence posture if required,” Austin said.

The Ford is the U.S. Navy’s newest and greatest aircraft carrier and was already deployed to the Mediterranean when Israel’s parliament formally approved a war declaration on Hamas attackers Sunday morning. Israel has not gone to war since 1973.

Movement of U.S. forces nearer to Israel will “strengthen Department of Defense posture in the region to bolster regional deterrence efforts,” Austin said. More and More Detransitioners Are Taking the Fight to the Doctors Who Ruined Their Lives

A “tidal wave” of detransitioners have sued their doctors over the transitions they received as minors, with many more to come, lawyers told the Daily Caller.

The law firm Campbell Miller Payne was established in 2023 by lawyers Jordan Campbell, Ron Miller, Josh Payne, and Daniel Sepulveda. The lawyers represent detransitioners in a number of high-profile cases, including Prisha Mosely and Soren Aldaco. Despite the newness of the firm, Campbell tells the Caller that they “average about one potential new client a week.”

“And that’s barely having gotten off the ground.”

“I think, frankly, we’re at the front end of a tidal wave coming the other direction,” Campbell told the Caller, “which is part of the reason I was willing to put my career on the line and go after this.”

Aldaco sued her medical providers for performing a botched mastectomy which left her “nipples literally peeling off of her chest” in July. Mosley alleges that a doctor concluded she was undergoing a “gender identity crisis” after one visit to the emergency room regarding an episode of self-harm, despite multiple comorbidities, such as an eating disorder and depression. IRS Weighed Hunter Biden Felony Charge for Raiding Daughter’s College Fund After He Spent Most of It on Drugs, Hookers

The IRS considered hitting first son Hunter Biden with felony tax charges over his removal of nearly $40,000 from his daughter’s college fund and failure to report it as additional income on his 2019 returns — while still using much of the windfall to pay for crack cocaine and hookers.

IRS Special Agent Joseph Ziegler told the House Ways and Means Committee that federal tax investigators uncovered “approximately $39,820” that Hunter Biden, now 53, looted from his high school-aged daughter Maisy’s 529 college savings plan. . .

A few weeks prior, Hunter had dodged a family intervention and instead holed up in a hotel to smoke crack, according to his 2021 memoir “Beautiful Things.”

After liquidating Maisy’s college savings, he went even deeper into the throes of his addiction in the coming months, sending payments to his drug dealer, a webcam service and prostitutes in the following weeks, emails on his laptop show.

The IRS also found “personal distributions he had claimed as business deductions totaling approximately $12,791,” according to Ziegler’s affidavit to the House panel on the five-year federal probe into the first son’s finances. Transvestites Taking Confusion-Affirming Hormones Face Up to 93% Greater Likelihood of Heart Disease

The cross-sex hormone therapies Democrats and other leftists want to make sure youths can access aren’t just deformative and destabilizing, but deadly.

A new study published in the European Journal of Endocrinology revealed that male transvestites taking feminizing hormones are 93% more likely to suffer heart disease than other men. Female transvestites taking testosterone are 63% more likely to suffer heart disease than other women.

Lead author Dr. Dorte Glintborg of Denmark’s Odense University Hospital noted in a 2021 study that “epidemiological studies in transgender women reported increased risk of acute myocardial infarction and stroke during feminizing treatment, whereas long-term, controlled studies regarding feminizing treatment and risk of arterial CVD are lacking.”

In an apparent follow-up last month, Glintborg determined that male transvestites taking cross-sex hormones were nearly twice as likely to suffer from any cardiovascular disease as men not taking hormones, reported the Telegraph.

While men are especially at risk, all individuals undergoing cross-sex conversion therapy face “significantly increased risk” of heart attacks, strokes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol levels. Judge Brands Transgenderism a ‘New Secular Faith’

A judge in Florida, in calling for the exoneration of a Christian teacher fired for declining to use a student’s “preferred” pronouns, has labeled the transgender ideology – promoted through the whole of government by Joe Biden – a “new secular faith.”

“Advocates of transgenderism can be as doctrinaire as religious zealots these days,” law judge John Van Laningham wrote in a dispute over the firing of science teacher Yojary Mundaray.

She was dismissed in 2019 by Jose de Deigo Middle School in Miami for a conversation with a student, a girl, who demanded the teacher refer to her as a boy.

According to a report on the situation that developed, cited by the Daily Mail, the student was scolded by Mundaray for “routine horse play.” At that point, the girl demanded the teacher refer to her as a boy, instructing the teacher “God made a mistake.”

People Wonder if Kamala Harris Was High After Hysterical Laughing Fit (VIDEO)

Kamala Harris may be the most uninteresting major politician on the scene right now. It’s hard to express how terrible of a politician she is, and somehow, she continually manages to get worse. Friday provided the perfect example of that a clip emerged showing her devolving into a hysterical laughing fit that left people wondering whether she was high in the comments.

While appearing in St. Louis, MO, to speak to the state’s Democratic Party, Harris was asked about the current economic reality (which isn’t good). Her response came across as some deranged mix of The Joker and Dr. Evil.

HARRIS: Popular, popular, popular! We just need to let everybody know who brought it to them.

Every time I watch Harris speak, I wonder how someone so bad at politics could have gotten as far as she has. It’s as if she has no self-awareness about any of her most unflattering characteristics and instead leans into them constantly. Weird, absurd laughter, often at the most inappropriate times, has become a staple of her tenure, as has her complete inability to understand any issue she’s discussing. FBI Knew All About Joe and Hunter’s Business Dealings, Laptop Authenticity — And Did Nothing: Files

Within several days of The New York Post breaking its blockbuster 2020 story on Hunter Biden’s laptop, the FBI received a flash drive containing emails and text messages from the cellphones of one of Hunter’s business partners, confirming the contents of Hunter’s computer were real and not “disinformation,” as the FBI led social media and the public to believe.

On Oct. 23, 2020, forensic examiners from the FBI’s Computer Analysis and Response Team (CART) took into inventory the flash drive, which was loaded with the emails and texts from an iPhone and two Blackberry phones that Hunter’s former business associate Tony Bobulinski used to communicate with the president’s son about a lucrative joint venture with Chinese nationals.

The data on the flash drive covered the period from early 2015 through late 2017, according to the FBI report, known as an FD-302, which summarized the interview with Bobulinski.

“BOBULINSKI was aware that the emails published by the New York Post were legitimate because BOBULINSKI was copied on them and had records of the emails on his own cellular devices,” the interviewing agents wrote in their 13-page report.

By that point, Twitter had censored The Post’s report, based partly on the FBI’s warnings. And a group of 51 former intelligence officers, including FBI members, signed a letter suggesting the laptop was fake — even though many knew it was real.
