Florida State University Fires Professor Behind Retracted Racism Studies: Report

Florida State University has reportedly fired a professor who had five studies on racism retracted, bringing an end to a years-long, acrimonious conflict over allegations of academic fraud.

Dr. Eric Stewart, Ph.D., was fired on July 13, according to a termination letter obtained by Retraction Watch.

Stewart was terminated for his behavior and his “extreme negligence and incompetence” in “basic data management” that has resulted in an “unprecedented” number of retracted articles and others now in question, wrote James Clark, the school’s provost and executive vice president for academic affairs.

“Decades of research that were once thought to be at the forefront of the criminology discipline have been shown to contain numerous erroneous and false narratives,” Clark wrote, adding that the retractions have “negatively affected the discipline on a national level.” (Read more from “Florida State University Fires Professor Behind Retracted Racism Studies: Report” HERE)

Biden’s America: Poll Finds Confidence in Military Lowest in Two Decades

Citizens in President Joe Biden’s (D) America are losing confidence in the United States military, according to a Gallup poll.

Citizens are mostly declining to share a “great deal” or “quite a lot” of confidence when it comes to the nation’s military, the Gallup poll, conducted June 1 through to June 22 and shared Monday found.

The news comes after the Air Force celebrated so-called “Pride Month” across its social media accounts with a graphic of an airman saluting what appears to be a rainbow flag, Breitbart News reported June 8.

According to Gallup, the decline in confidence has continued for the past five years. (Read more from “Biden’s America: Poll Finds Confidence in Military Lowest in Two Decades” HERE)

‘Total Clown Show’: CNN Buries Devon Archer, Hunter Biden Revelations

CNN buried the story Tuesday of Devon Archer’s explosive testimony at the House Oversight Committee the day before, which implicated President Joe Biden in his son Hunter’s influence-peddling schemes and suggested the president lied to the country.

Archer testified, among other things, that Hunter Biden had put his father on a speakerphone to talk to his business associates at least 20 times, contradicting repeated claims by the president that he had never spoken to his family about their business affairs.

He also confirmed that Hunter Biden made money from business deals in China, debunking another one of his father’s denials. And he said that Hunter Biden’s role on the board of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma had been to help pressure his father, who was then the vice president, to stop a Ukrainian prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, from investigating it, confirming an accusation by President Donald Trump in 2019 that Democrats vehemently denied as they tried to impeach Trump and remove him from office.

Archer’s explosive testimony, however, did not even make CNN’s top 5 stories on Tuesday morning, which led with poll numbers that have Democrats worried Trump could defeat Biden in 2024, but included a story about a recall of a popular pickup truck.

Irony: Jack Smith’s Team Admits Incorrectly Telling Court DOJ Turned Over All Materials

Special Counsel Jack Smith’s team admitted in a federal court filing in Miami this week that the government had not, in fact, given all of its evidence to the court for President Donald Trump’s defense team to review — the same thing Trump is alleged to have done.

Smith has charged Trump with 40 counts in the so-called “documents” case. Among them is the accusation that Trump caused his lawyers to tell the government that they had handed over all of the documents the government wanted, when in fact they had not.

The indictment against Trump alleges that he conspired with his staff to move boxes of documents, and to attempt to delete some video footage, without telling his attorneys, so that the final delivery of documents and video to the government was incomplete.

But in an ironic twist, Smith’s team had to admit to the court in a July 31 filing that it had not, in fact, uploaded all of the video footage that it had taken from Trump’s residence in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, to a platform established by the court for the defense to review it.

Kamala Harris Uses Biden’s Vacation Week to Audition for His Job

Vice President Kamala Harris is stepping into the spotlight while President Biden is on a summer beach vacation, embracing what critics say is her status as the de facto incumbent because of her boss’ advanced age.

Speaking to a supportive crowd in Orlando, Florida, she rejected Gov. Ron DeSantis‘ invite to discuss new school curricula that say some enslaved people used skills learned in captivity for their “personal benefit” later in life. Ms. Harris leaned directly into a debate over Black history that has dogged Mr. DeSantis‘ run for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.

“Right here in Florida, they plan to teach students that enslaved people benefited from slavery,” Ms. Harris said. “I’m here in Florida, and I will tell you there is no roundtable, no lecture, no invitation we will accept to debate an undeniable fact: There were no redeeming qualities of slavery.”

Ms. Harris will step into the head-of-state role while Mr. Biden enjoys bike rides and other beach activities in Delaware. She is sitting down Wednesday with Mongolia’s prime minister, who is looking abroad to jump-start his country’s economic fortunes.

Ms. Harris will pivot to domestic politics Thursday with a trip to champion advancement in broadband access in Wisconsin — a key prize in the Electoral College — and meet with political supporters in Milwaukee. This Candidate Says He Would Consider Banning TikTok if He Is Elected President

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) suggested he would consider banning the popular social media platform TikTok if he were elected president in 2024, citing his concern for cybersecurity.

The platform, owned by the Beijing-based internet company ByteDance, has approximately 150 million users in the United States. DeSantis stated that he would not go as far as using the Restrict Act, which is a bipartisan measure giving the president permission to act against foreign software and services from adversaries of the U.S., according to the Wall Street Journal.

“I am inclined to not want TikTok in the United States,” said DeSantis. “I think it’s creating a security vulnerability for us. I think they are mining a lot of data.”

In discussing the ban, DeSantis claimed that TikTok is “very, very toxic” for children.

“At the end of the day, I don’t want ‘big brother’ to be getting into everybody’s apps,” said DeSantis. “It’s about vulnerabilities to our country.” (Read more from “This Candidate Says He Would Consider Banning TikTok if He Is Elected President” HERE)

Biden’s DOJ Pushing for Hunter’s Former Business Partner to Go to Prison Days Before His ‘Bombshell Testimony,’ Comer: ‘This Is Obstruction of Justice’

By The Blaze. Just days before Hunter Biden’s former business partner is set to testify before the House Oversight Committee, President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice is pushing for Devon Archer to go to prison.

Devon Archer worked closely with Hunter Biden for years. Starting in 2009, the two co-founded the investment firm Rosemont Seneca alongside John Kerry’s stepson – Christopher Heinz.

In 2013, Archer and Biden partnered with Chinese private equity investor Jonathan Li to establish a China-backed investment fund called BHR Partners. The investment firm is supported by some of China’s largest financial institutions – including the Bank of China. . .

In 2014, Archer and Biden joined the board of Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings.

Records also show that Archer visited the White House in 2009 for a “holiday reception,” then in 2011 for a “group tour,” and a meeting with then-Vice President Joe Biden in the West Wing on April 16, 2014 – just days before Hunter and Archer joined the Burisma board. Devon Archer, the Man Who Will Testify to Congress About His Business Dealings With Hunter Biden: Who Is He?

By Fox News. Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s longtime friend and business associate, is expected to testify on Capitol Hill Monday and share intimate details about foreign ventures he worked on and the level at which President Biden was allegedly involved.

Archer is set to appear before the House Oversight Committee Monday and is reportedly preparing to tell lawmakers that President Biden met with dozens of Hunter’s business associates while he was serving as vice president between 2009 and 2017.

Biden’s ‘My Son Has Not Made Money on China’ Debate Lie Isn’t Looking Too Good Right Now

In the months leading up to the 2020 election, President Joe Biden denied on multiple occasions that he ever discussed business with his son.

One of Joe’s most infamous and specific lies was, “My son has not made money in terms of this thing about — what are you talking about — China,” which he delivered from the stage during the second presidential debate in October 2020.

Five days before the debate, the New York Post reported on emails from Hunter’s abandoned laptop detailing how the younger Biden pursued business deals with one of China’s largest energy companies in an attempt to cash in “for me and my family.”

The Post also uncovered evidence that some of these arrangements involve a “big guy” who sounded an awful lot like then-Vice President Joe. Hunter was going to get this mysterious man to exchange political favors for millions of dollars, a fact which was later corroborated by a highly credible confidential human source.

When former President Donald Trump brought up the “laptop from hell” onstage on October 20, Biden countered with conspiracies that the laptop was Russian disinformation. Biden, Hunter, and the FBI knew this was a lie but proceeded to tout it for months after the election anyway. Blinken: ‘You Can’t…Have a Hierarchy’ When Assessing Threat of Climate Change vs. Nuclear War

United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken recently said you can’t “have a hierarchy” when asked if climate change is a greater threat to humanity than nuclear war.

Amelia Adams of “60 Minutes Australia” asked Blinken, “Vladimir Putin is threatening nuclear war, and this month we’ve seen the hottest temperatures on this planet on record. What is the greater threat to humanity in your mind, war or climate change?”

“Well, you can’t, I think, have a hierarchy,” Blinken replied. “There are some things that are front and center – the wolf at the door – including potential conflict, but there’s no doubt that climate represents an existential challenge to all of us. It’s one of the reasons we’re so gratified at Australia’s leadership when it comes to combating climate change; that Australia is stepping up in the way that it sends a very powerful message. It’s both practical in what Australia is doing, but it also is the symbolism of an important country taking a clear stand and also taking action against climate.”

“So for us, this is the existential challenge of our times,” he said. (Read more from “Blinken: ‘You Can’t…Have a Hierarchy’ When Assessing Threat of Climate Change vs. Nuclear War” HERE)

Trump Makes Vow About His Presidential Campaign if He Is Sentenced to Prison

Former President Donald Trump has vowed to continue his 2024 White House run even if he is convicted and sentenced on criminal charges.

Trump made the promise during a Friday appearance on “The John Fredricks Show,” a pro-Trump radio program, when asked whether his potential conviction would terminate his second bid for the White House.

“Not at all. There’s nothing in the Constitution to say that it could,” Trump said. “Even the radical left crazies are saying, ‘No, that wouldn’t stop!’ And it wouldn’t stop me either.”

Trump is currently facing multiple state and federal charges, including 34 counts of falsifying business records in New York, and 37 federal charges stemming from Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into his alleged improper retention of classified records at his Mar-a-Lago home.

He pled “not guilty” to the New York charges in April and the federal charges in June. (Read more from “Trump Makes Vow About His Presidential Campaign if He Is Sentenced to Prison” HERE)
