A newly posted video of an interview with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a Democrat candidate for the 2024 nomination for president, reveals how it was Barack Obama who actually made Big Pharma a part of his political party.

And, he said, it was when Obama “made a golden handshake with the devil.”

Kennedy explains that Obama needed the pharmaceutical industry in his corner in ordered to get his Obamacare through Congress. . .

So he signed on to the “golden handshake with the devil,” which, Kennedy said “was to say the government now will pay for the purchases of drugs and we will agree not to bargain.”

Why Is the Vatican Investigating a Conservative Bishop in Texas?

A Texas bishop with a history of conservative activism and criticism of Pope Francis received a Vatican-ordered “visitation” that ended on June 23, but the reasons behind the investigation remain uncertain.

An apostolic visitation is a rare procedure that can be invoked by the Vatican to review a diocese’s leadership and can lead to disciplinary action, according to the Catholic News Agency. A spokesperson for the Tyler Diocese confirmed to the Daily Caller News Foundation that the meeting with Bishop Joseph Strickland had taken place but declined to comment on whether Strickland’s public comments on social issues and the Pope were the cause for the visit.

“So, it was a visitation, a visitation did happen but the whole process is confidential so out of respect for all those involved we’re not really able to say anything beyond that,” the spokesperson told the DCNF.

CNN Airs Audio of Trump Allegedly Showing People ‘Highly Confidential, Secret’ Documents

Monday, CNN aired a recording of former President Donald Trump talking about “highly confidential, secret” documents at his club in Bedminster, NJ.

In an audio Trump said, “These are bad sick people.”

With the sound of papers moving, Trump continued, “With Milley, let me see that. I’ll show you an example. He said that I wanted to attack Iran. Isn’t it amazing? I have a big pile of papers, this thing just came up. Look. This was him. They presented me this. This is off the record, but they presented me this. This was him. This was the Defense Department and him. We looked at some. This wasn’t done by me. All sorts of stuff, pages long, look. Let’s see here. It’s that amazing This totally wins my case, you know. Except it is, like, highly confidential, secret. This is secret information. But look, look at this. Malaria Found in U.S. For First Time in 20 Years, Alarming Officials

Malaria, a potentially deadly disease caused by a mosquito-borne parasite, is making inroads into the US.

Three new cases of malaria — one in Texas and two in Florida — are alarming officials because they were locally acquired, meaning a mosquito in the US was carrying the parasite.

That hasn’t happened since 2003 in Palm Beach County, Florida, according to the Centers for Disease and Prevention.

Almost all cases of malaria now seen in the US are from people who traveled outside the country, where they were exposed to disease-carrying mosquitoes.

Hunter Biden Prosecutor Told Six Witnesses He Couldn’t Charge Outside Delaware: IRS Whistleblower

The federal prosecutor tasked with investigating Hunter Biden told at least six witnesses last year that he lacked authority to charge the first son outside Delaware and was denied special counsel status, according to an IRS whistleblower — and now the House Judiciary Committee wants to talk to them.

Delaware US Attorney David Weiss made the shocking disclosure at an Oct. 7, 2022, meeting with top IRS and FBI officials — contradicting sworn testimony from Attorney General Merrick Garland, IRS supervisory agent Gary Shapley told the House Ways and Means Committee last month.

“He surprised us by telling us on the charges, ‘I’m not the deciding official on whether charges are filed,’” Shapley recounted in his May 26 testimony, which the committee released Thursday.

“He then shocked us with the earth-shattering news that the Biden-appointed D.C. U.S. Attorney Matthew Graves would not allow him to charge in his district,” added Shapley, who said Graves’ refusal to prosecute meant that Hunter, now 53, would not face tax charges related to “foreign income from Burisma [Holdings] and a scheme to evade his income taxes through a partnership with a convicted felon” in 2014 and 2015.

Titanic Sub’s Voice Recordings, Data to Be Probed as Officials Mull Possible Criminality

Officials investigating the doomed Titanic submersible will examine voice recordings and other data from its mothership to try to determine what happened and whether any criminality occurred, according to reports.

Investigators with the Transportation Safety Board of Canada visited the Polar Prince, the OceanGate Titan sub’s lead ship, Saturday “to collect information from the vessel’s voyage data recorder and other vessel systems that contain useful information,” TSB Chairwoman Kathy Fox told CNN.

Fox said the agency wants to “find out what happened and why and to find out what needs to change to reduce the chance or the risk of such occurrences in the future,” according to the report.

She said voice recordings “could be useful in our investigation” but insisted that the investigation’s purpose was not to affix blame.

“Every time the radical left Democrats, Marxists, communists, and fascists indict me, I consider it a great badge of honor and badge of courage. I consider it both. Essentially, I’m being indicted for you,” Trump told the gathered crowd. The former president has been indicted twice since leaving office in 2021 — once related to an alleged hush money payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels, and once for alleged mishandling of highly sensitive classified information.

“Two weeks ago, Joe Biden ordered his top political opponent to be arrested,” Trump said, adding, “That’s me! … Arrested on fake and fabricated charges right in the middle of a presidential election in which Biden is losing by a lot.”

Trump Widens Lead in Republican Primary Thanks to Second Indictment

By Washington Examiner. Former President Donald Trump has grown even more popular among Republican voters for the 2024 nomination in the wake of his federal indictment this month.

Charges of willful retention of classified documents and obstruction of justice related to his possession of top-secret materials at his Mar-a-Lago estate helped Mr. Trump expand his lead over Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in an NBC News poll released Sunday.

The survey showed that 51% of Republican primary voters chose Mr. Trump as their top candidate, with Mr. DeSantis trailing at just 22%. The results mark a 5 percentage-point increase for Mr. Trump and a 9 percentage-point decrease for Mr. DeSantis compared to a similar NBC News poll in April.

A Real Clear Politics average of recent polls show Mr. Trump is in the lead by more than 30 percentage points, at roughly 52%, compared to Mr. DeSantis’ 21.5%.

Trump Plans to Move ‘Massive Portions’ of Federal Law Enforcement Into Immigration Enforcement if Elected

Former President Donald Trump outlined his southern border and immigration policy platforms in great detail Saturday night, including laying out a vision to end “automatic citizenship for the children of illegal aliens,” resurrecting all “incredibly successful border policies” from his first term, and moving “massive portions” of federal law enforcement into immigration enforcement.

Speaking at the Faith & Freedom Coalition’s Road to a Majority Conference in Washington, DC, Trump went into his border and immigration plans in great detail. He first blasted automatic citizenship as “so unfair for our country” and vowed to end it on his first day in office, if elected.

“I’ve already announced that I will sign on day one an executive order ending automatic citizenship for the children of illegal aliens. You have to do it. Federal Judge Dismisses Transgender Plaintiffs’ Lawsuit Seeking to Change Their Sex on Birth Certificates

A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit seeking to force the state of Tennessee to allow transgender plaintiffs to change their birth certificates to match their gender identity, the Associated Press reported.

U.S. District Judge Eli Richardson wrote that the word “sex,” when it comes to birth certificates, means “external genitalia at birth.” The judge also said that a birth certificate does not become inaccurate if the person’s gender identity later in life is a mismatch.

“The instant case is not grist for a broad-based discussion about transgenderism or the status and rights of transgender persons in Tennessee or the United States,” wrote United States District Judge Eli Richardson in a memorandum opinion.

Judge Richardson noted that the case involved a “discrete legal dispute over the constitutionality of a specific alleged policy of the State of Tennessee (based on a longstanding Tennessee statute) concerning birth certificates in particular.”

McCarthy Forecasts Garland Impeachment Inquiry if Whistleblower Allegations True

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) on Sunday signaled that an impeachment inquiry of Attorney General Merrick Garland would be imminent if whistleblower allegations that U.S. Attorney for the District of Delaware David Weiss wanted to appoint a special counsel in the Department of Justice’s Hunter Biden probe are true.

McCarthy retweeted allegations made by the whistleblower, IRS Criminal Supervisory Special Agent Gary A. Shapley Jr, noting if his allegations are true, “this will be a significant part of a larger impeachment inquiry into Merrick Garland’s weaponization of DOJ.”

His retweet included a post from Washington Examiner Chief Correspondent Byron York, who noted that Shapley alleged Weiss wanted charges against Biden to be brought in Washington, DC.
