Chris Christie Shows Support for Child Gender Transition Surgeries

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie announced late last month that he is running for president in 2024. In an apparent effort to distinguish himself from better-performing candidates in the Republican field, Christie — presently ranked seventh on average with less than two points to his name in the polls — has come out in support of child gender transition surgeries.

The Republican presidential candidate told CNN’s Jake Tapper during his Sunday appearance on “State of the Nation” that he doesn’t think “the government should ever be stepping into the place of the parents in helping to move their children through a process where those children are confused or concerned about their gender.” . . .

Rebuffing the warnings of groups like the NJ Family Policy Council, Christie ratified Democrat legislation (S-3067/A-465) in 2017, barring public school districts from requiring transvestic students to use bathrooms or locker rooms corresponding with their biological sex. . .

In reply to Tapper, who noted that other Republicans were “going in the opposite direction” of the LGBT activist-affirming efforts he employed as governor, Christie said, “The fact is that folks who are under the age of 18 should have parental support and guidance and love as they make all of the key decisions of their life, and this should not be one that is excluded by the government in any way.”

Juneteenth Is Now Just Another Tool to Advance Equity (AKA Race-Based Discrimination)

Whatever Juneteenth once stood for as a state holiday is dead and gone. Today, leftists use the new federal holiday as merely the latest tool to advance “equity” — aka race-based discrimination — and further entrench Critical Race Theory into American society.

That Democrats are using something positive and noncontroversial — the celebration of emancipation and an end to slavery — to push its anti-American agenda is unsurprising. The Left always takes that which is proper and twists it for their own end. What is alarming is how many Republicans are oblivious to this tactic.

To start, consider that leftist success depends upon invoking fear, preying upon the goodwill of Americans, and conning gullible rubes in the GOP. To see a textbook example of that strategy, look no further than how “Juneteenth National Independence Day” came to be.

For background, on June 19, 1865, Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas, and announced slavery had ended via the Emancipation Proclamation more than two years earlier. Since then, varying communities have celebrated “Juneteenth” most predominantly in Texas. Its regional significance and place in black culture should not be understated — even if not recognized by the majority of Americans.

The Math Doesn’t Add Up as to How $10 Million Mysteriously Appeared in Biden’s Bank Account

Republicans are pointing out eyebrow-raising questions after $10 million magically appeared in President Joe Biden’s bank account with no explanation.

Biden is facing scrutiny among allegations linking him to a bribery scandal in Ukraine when he served as vice president, which has brought unanswered questions to old Biden tax returns.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) demands transparency from the president, claiming Biden is guilty of committing a felony.

“You’re looking at a tax return that has $10 million in cash that came from a mystery source,” Cruz said during his podcast, Verdict with Ted Cruz. “We have utterly no idea where that $10 million came from.”

According to reports, a whistleblower claimed that when Biden was vice president, a senior executive at Burisma offered him $5 million in bribery cash to make a deal and official decisions for Burisma. In 2017, when Biden ended his career as vice president, he reported over $10 million of income from two corporations he and First Lady Jill Biden set up, causing Republicans to question where that money initially came from. Transgender Advocates Appropriate Identity of Black Slaves

Transgender advocates have been taking the identity of women piece by piece — and now are trying to wrap their cause in the identity of black Americans who were slaves in the 1800s.

“We’re calling it kind of the ‘rainbow Underground Railroad,’” said Bob McCranie, a real estate broker based in Dallas, Texas, who is now offering to help transgender advocates flee from states — such as Texas — where legislators have adopted popular laws to protect kids from transgenderism.

“We’re trying to get people out quietly and get them to someplace where they feel safer,” McCranie told KFOR.com, appropriating the language used before the civil war to describe the networks that helped smuggle enslaved blacks to the northern states that barred slavery.

The pre-civil war Underground Railroad was run by “abolitionists activists who would have safe houses for people, particularly slaves fleeing the South … To compare gay people in Texas leaving the state to the Underground Railroad should be offensive even to people who are gay,” scoffed radio host Erick Erickson on June 16.

U.S. Relations With China ‘Worse’ Than With Cold War Soviet Union, Former NatSec Adviser Says

Former Trump National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster believes American relations with China today are “worse” than they were with the Soviet Union during the Cold War.

McMaster made the remarks during an interview with Margaret Brennan on CBS News’ “Face The Nation” Sunday. He told the host that U.S.-China relations are more complex than they were with the U.S.S.R. because of the interconnectedness of the two economies, and said the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) must “change its behavior” so the two countries can have a better relationship.

“It’s worse, it’s worse,” McMaster said when asked by Brennan about comparisons to the Cold War in response to news of China’s spy facility in Cuba. “Because it’s a more difficult problem set because of the way that our economies have become interconnected, in large measure based on these flawed assumptions about the nature of relationship, and especially the intentions of the Chinese Communist Party.”

“We thought that, that we could determine the behavior of the party by the way we engage them,” McMaster said. “But hey, guess what I mean, the Chinese Communist Party leadership had aspirations that went far beyond anything in reaction to what we do. Biden’s Deputies Hide Mass Fraud in H-1B Middle-Class Outsourcing Visa

Indian-born CEOs are closing their firms and fleeing back to India to escape charges of fraud in the annual lotteries for visas to import H-1B foreign contract workers, says a lawyer for many Indian-owned subcontractors and visa workers.

“So yes, they are getting prosecuted, they are getting investigated, and that’s the reason why some of them are packing their bags and closing their companies,” said Rahul Reddy, an immigration lawyer in Texas.

Reddy made his comments during an online question-and-answer session with Indian graduates who are worried about the federal investigations into the H-1B fraud in the annual lottery for 85,000 new H-1B work permits. The work permits are used to import lower-wage migrants to take the jobs needed by U.S. college graduates.

Many Indian graduates in India cooperate with the fraud because the H-1B visas put them on a long, indentured-service path to U.S. jobs, green cards, and citizenship.

But many other Indian graduates from U.S. colleges oppose the lottery fraud because it hinders their three legal chances to convert their “Optional Practical Training” (OPT) work permits into an H-1B visa with its valuable path to U.S. citizenship. ‘Infect and Forget’: A Dose of Hookworms Could Help Patients Manage Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Could a dose of hookworms provide a medication-free alternative to people with inflammatory bowel disease? The Malaghan Institute’s Hookworm Therapy team, who recently published the results from their year-long clinical study, think it’s possible. Published in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, the feasibility study found that hookworms were a safe and long-lasting treatment for participants with ulcerative colitis—paving the way for wider clinical studies.

The Malaghan Institute has been exploring the potential therapeutic benefits of human hookworms for patients suffering allergic and inflammatory disease for a number of years. This current study was the first of its kind to investigate whether hookworms could offer a medication-free alternative for patients living with ulcerative colitis to manage their disease.

“This pilot study is the first controlled evidence in the use of hookworm as a therapy in ulcerative colitis,” says Malaghan Institute clinician and gastroenterologist Dr. Tom Mules who led the study alongside Rutherford Clinic gastroenterologist Dr. Stephen Inns. “Our study has shown this kind of therapy is well-tolerated, safe and feasible to take into a full-scale trial.”

In this pilot randomized controlled trial, patients currently in remission from ulcerative colitis were infected with a controlled dose of hookworm larvae or given placebo, and followed up over twelve months. Patients would provide regular feedback on any changes to their gut health or discomfort. Samples were collected throughout the year-long infection to test a range of scientific parameters such as gut inflammation, microbiome and immune cell composition.

At Least 21 Shot at Juneteenth Celebration in Gun-Controlled Illinois

At least 21 people were shot, one of them fatally, at a Juneteenth celebration in gun-controlled Illinois on Sunday morning around 12:30 a.m.

CNN reported the shooting occurred “in a parking lot in Willowbrook, about 21 miles west of Chicago.”

FOX 32 pointed out two of the wounded remain in critical condition.

Elon Musk Backs Joe Rogan’s Challenge for COVID-19 Scientist to Debate Vaccines With RFK Jr.

Twitter owner Elon Musk threw his support Saturday behind comedian Joe Rogan’s challenge for COVID-19 scientist Peter Hotez to debate vaccine skeptic Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast.

Musk accused Hotez of being “afraid of public debate, because he knows he’s wrong” when Rogan doubled down on his debate proposal. Hotez, a professor at the Baylor College of Medicine, first responded to Rogan’s request without providing a definitive answer on whether he would debate Kennedy.

Rogan initially offered Hotez $100,000 to the charity of his choice to debate Kennedy after the scientist shared a Vice News article criticizing Rogan’s June 15 podcast episode with Kennedy. Hotez replied by telling Rogan, “you have my cell, my email, I’m always willing to speak with you.”

Hotez responded to Musk’s comment by calling him “monstrous” and defending his stance on vaccines. Musk clarified he is pro-vaccine but allegedly suffered side effects from the COVID-19 vaccine. Nonetheless, Musk said he believes Hotez should debate Kennedy.

IRS Agent Claims He Can ‘Go Into Anyone’s House at Any Time I Want’

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan sent a letter to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Friday demanding to know why an agent had told a woman that he could “go into anyone’s house at any time I want.”

Jordan revealed in the letter that a he’d recently learned of allegations about an IRS agent who had allegedly used a fake name to enter a taxpayer’s home and then threatened her. The letter explained that an agent going by “Bill Haus” showed up at an Ohio woman’s home in April, telling her that he can “go into anyone’s house at any time.”

“We have recently received allegations that an Internal Revenue Service agent provided a false name to an Ohio taxpayer as part of a deception to gain entry into the taxpayer’s home to confront her about delinquent tax filings,” the letter reads. “When the taxpayer rightfully objected to the agent’s tactics, the IRS agent insisted that he ‘can . . . go into anyone’s house at any time’ as an IRS agent. These allegations raise serious concerns about the IRS’s commitment to fundamental civil liberties.”

Haus allegedly entered the woman’s home, claiming she owed a significant amount in taxes for an estate of which she was a “fiduciary,” according to the letter. Later on, the agent allegedly told the woman that he was actually there to discuss “several delinquent tax return filings” from the estate’s deceased owner.

After calling her attorney, the woman was instructed to tell the agent to leave but he refused, claiming that he could be at any house at “any time,” according to the letter.
