Governor Signs Bill Banning Trans Surgeries, Hormone Therapies for Children

Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott signed a bill on Friday that places restrictions on gender transitioning procedures and treatments for minors in the state.

The bill, known as Senate Bill 14, prohibits doctors from performing certain procedures and treatments related to gender transitioning, reassignment, or gender dysphoria to children under the age of 18. It also restricts the use of public funds or public assistance for such procedures.

Last year, Abbott issued an order saying that treating transgender minors with medical procedures could be seen as child abuse. However, a judge has stopped some of the investigations related to this order in Texas.

The newly enacted law specifically bans doctors and health care providers from performing surgeries that render minors unable to have children.

This includes surgeries on males like castration (removing testicles), vasectomy (cutting tubes that carry sperm), orchiectomy (removing testicles), penectomy (removing the penis), and vaginoplasty (making a vagina). It also includes surgeries on females, such as hysterectomy (removing the uterus), oophorectomy (removing ovaries), metoidioplasty (reshaping the clitoris), and phalloplasty (making a penis). Air Force Denies Allegations That AI-Drone ‘Killed’ Its Human Operator in Simulation

The Air Force is publicly denying that an AI-enhanced drone tried to kill its operator. . .

Last month, Air Force Col. Tucker “Cinco” Hamilton, chief of the USAF’s AI Test and Operations, provided a presentation at the Future Combat Air & Space Capabilities Summit, hosted by the Royal Aeronautical Society in London.

During his presentation, Hamilton recounted a story in which an AI drone in a simulation allegedly “killed” its human operator because he kept the drone “from accomplishing its objective.”

“We were training it in simulation to identify and target a [surface-to-air missile] threat. And then the operator would say ‘yes, kill that threat.’ The system started realizing that while they did identify the threat, at times the human operator would tell it not to kill that threat, but it got its points by killing that threat. So what did it do? It killed the operator. It killed the operator because that person was keeping it from accomplishing its objective,” Hamilton said. . .

“We trained the system: ‘Hey don’t kill the operator — that’s bad. You’re gonna lose points if you do that.’ So what does it start doing? It starts destroying the communication tower that the operator uses to communicate with the drone to stop it from killing the target,” Hamilton said. Navy Twitter Account Features Rainbow-Colored Graphic for Pride Month

The United States Navy’s official Twitter account temporarily changed its cover photo to a rainbow-colored graphic Thursday to kick off the beginning of Pride Month, according to screenshots posted on Twitter.

The graphic featured ships and aircraft with rainbow colors streaming from them, along with the word “Pride” in different colors.

The account later changed the cover photo to a view of a ship deck from a control tower. However, during the time the Pride graphic was shown, the service received some flak.

Another Update on the 2020 Georgia Election Probe…and It’s Not Good

It’s a fishing expedition. We all know this, but the Democrats’ larger aim is to gin up the GOP base to the point where they carry Donald Trump over the finish line in the Republican primary while saddling him with endless legal drama. The GOP is then rendered invalid in carrying out a meaningful campaign, as every story about Donald Trump will be about his potential trials. He’s already facing one from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg over the hush money payments to Stormy Daniels. That case is even more absurd than the Russian collusion hoax, with misdemeanor charges elevated as felonies. And the statute of limitations has expired, but the workaround Bragg took was to invoke the COVID pandemic: the clock on filing charges was suspended due to this health emergency.

Trump’s lawyers want to meet with Attorney General Merrick Garland over the classified document controversy, another legal case where Trump could face indictment. It doesn’t help that there are audio recordings of the former president talking about the items he took from the White House, primarily mementos. And now, the Georgia election interference investigation, whose findings we were told would be revealed in late summer. It’s now expanding into other states. Georgia’s RICO statutes are some of the most expansive in the country. Fulton County DA Fani Willis is looking into invoking those legal measures while investigating the former president, specifically two firms the Trump team contracted with to sniff out reported voter fraud. An inquiry they allegedly buried when they found nothing (via WaPo):

An Atlanta-area investigation of alleged election interference by former president Donald Trump and his allies has broadened to include activities in Washington, D.C., and several other states, according to two people with knowledge of the probe — a fresh sign that prosecutors may be building a sprawling case under Georgia’s racketeering laws.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani T. Willis (D) launched an investigation more than two years ago to examine efforts by Trump and his allies to overturn his narrow 2020 defeat in Georgia. Along the way, she has signaled publicly that she may use Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) statute to allege that these efforts amounted to a far-reaching criminal scheme.

In recent days, Willis has sought information related to the Trump campaign hiring two firms to find voter fraud across the United States and then burying their findings when they did not find it, allegations that reach beyond Georgia’s borders, said the two individuals, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to speak candidly about the investigation. At least one of the firms has been subpoenaed by Fulton County investigators.

FBI Director Agrees to Show Document Alleging Biden Bribery Scheme to House Oversight Leaders

FBI Director Christopher Wray has consented to bring a subpoenaed document from the investigation into the Biden family to Capitol Hill for legislators to examine.

A spokesperson for House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) confirmed to The Epoch Times on June 2 that the lawmaker would be allowed to review the documents on June 5.

Ranking member Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) will also be able to review the document, CNN reported.

The document in question, an FD-1023, allegedly contains uncorroborated allegations that President Joe Biden, while serving as vice president, engaged in a bribery conspiracy to alter United States policy in exchange for monetary gain to his family’s businesses.

An FBI whistleblower informed Congress about the document and expressed concern that the allegations were never thoroughly investigated.

Brawls Break Out as Parents Protest Pride Event at Elementary School

A Pride Month event at a Los Angeles-area elementary school devolved into multiple brawls on Friday as parent protesters forced police to intervene just a few weeks after a trans teacher’s Pride flag was burned on the premises.

Over 100 parents rallied against the Pride Day assembly at Saticoy Elementary School in North Hollywood, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Many of the outraged protesters held signs with messages like “Parental choice matters” and “No pride in grooming,” the outlet said. One truck had a large trailer draped in a red banner stating, “Leave our kids alone.”

They faced off against over 100 other demonstrators gathered across the street in support of LGBTQIA+ rights and Pride Month, which kicked off on June 1.

This State Is Offering Free College to Illegal Aliens

The blue state of Minnesota will now be offering illegal immigrants free college, which is being touted as a way to “provide historic investment for student support and our institutions.”

Axios reports the program, called the “North Star Promise,” is available to anyone who lives in the state, has graduated from a Minnesota high school, and lives in a household whose yearly income is below $80,000. In addition to free college, the state will also allow illegal immigrants the ability to obtain a driver’s license and access the health care plan afforded to low-income residents.

“We want to make sure that when we’re expanding opportunities for everybody, we’re doing it for all Minnesotans, regardless of background, regardless of their documentation status,” Senate Higher Education Chair Omar Fateh (DFL) told Axios.

Meet the Violent Anarchist Behind DHS’s ‘Pyramid of Far-Right Radicalization’ Scandal

Last week, the Media Research Center (MRC) published a report gleaned from Freedom of Information Act requests that shows how the Biden administration has weaponized the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to target political opponents. DHS provided $352,109 in grant funding to the University of Dayton’s PREVENTS-OH counter-extremism project. The grant application was based in part on the work of openly anarchist Antifa-affiliated Michael Loadenthal, a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Cincinnati who, by his own admission, is a far-left violent extremist.

In 2021, Loadenthal spoke at a “White Nationalism Workshop” and an “Extremism, Rhetoric and Democratic Precarity” roundtable at the University’s “Social Practice Of Human Rights Conference.” During the white nationalism workshop, Loadenthal introduced himself by stating that he is militant Antifa; he then continued his talk by teaching audience members how to securely dox people to their employers. He detailed how he uses a VPN, burner phones, encrypted communications, and “sock puppet” accounts to dox people.

Throughout the talk he framed his work in explicitly “antifascist” terms, explaining how he employs “antifascist intelligence” to dox individuals online and in real life. He detailed what “antifascists” do with that information: “We contact employers, landlords, commanding officers, school officials, family, clergy, and we pressure service providers [PayPal, GoFundMe, Patreon, Amazon etc.] … and people will kick people off.” When asked during the question-and-answer section how people can help his work, he stated, “Donate money … We have defense funds because we get into trouble. A lot of the things we’re doing are illegal … a lot of it involves breaking the law.”

Loadenthal’s talk is a naked attempt to launder Antifa tactics of online harassment, doxxing, deplatforming, and illegal activity to make them sound academic. The danger of mainstreaming these violent extremist tactics became glaringly obvious in Loadenthal’s second presentation at the conference.

His talk on “Extremism, Rhetoric, and Democratic Precarity” opened with an image entitled “The Pyramid of Far-Right Radicalization.” In it, he presented a taxonomy of the “far right,” which implies a pipeline from mainstream conservatism to violent extremist terrorism. He stated, “This is the modern far-right as articulated by what I think are some smart folk. In Blue States, Trans-Identified Male Athletes Score in Girls’ Prep Sports

More than 20 conservative-leaning states now ban male-born students from girls’ scholastic sports, but it’s a different story in liberal America, where transgender athletes are not only competing but also thriving.

Male-to-female transgender competitors made a splash this year in high school sports in California, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Vermont and Washington by winning races and capturing roster spots in sports such as basketball, skiing, and track and field.

June Watterson, a transgender sophomore at Davis Senior High School in California, notched first- and third-place finishes in slalom races at the California Nevada Interscholastic Ski and Snowboard Federation state championships in March.

Not thrilled about it was one California man whose daughter competed at the meet. Each time Watterson raced, he said, female skiers slid down the rankings.

“You’ve got to think about what this actually means,” said the father, who spoke to The Washington Times on the condition of anonymity. “This person displaced one of our girls, kicked her from third to down to fourth place, off the podium. Extensive Hunter Biden Laptop Archive With Nearly 10,000 Photos Published on New Website

An immense catalog of photos from Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop were published Thursday on a new website, as the first son faces ongoing investigations into his overseas business affairs and potential tax and gun crimes.

Nearly 10,000 photos taken between 2008 and 2019 will be hosted at BidenLaptopMedia.com after a former Trump White House aide apparently spent months scanning the digital archive, redacting some images and publishing the rest.

“The number one thing we’re about … is truth and transparency,” Garrett Ziegler, who founded the nonprofit Marco Polo, told Fox News.

Among the redacted pictures are those that display private information, such as Social Security, banking and credit card numbers.
