Elon Musk: Assassination Risk Is ‘Quite Significant’

By New York Post. Elon Musk has claimed the risk of his assassination is “quite significant.” . . .

“Frankly the risk of something bad happening to me, or even literally being shot, is quite significant,” he said.

“It’s not that hard to kill somebody if you wanted to, so hopefully they don’t, and fate smiles upon the situation with me and it does not happen … There’s definitely some risk there.”

The Tesla CEO and world’s richest man – a self-proclaimed “free speech absolutist” – added that “at the end of the day, we just want to have a future where we’re not oppressed”. (Read more from “Elon Musk Claims Risk of His Assassination Is ‘Quite Significant'” HERE)

Elon Musk Will Not Sign Autographs ‘Ever Again’ as He Warns Assassination Risk Is ‘Quite Significant’

By Daily Wire. Twitter CEO Elon Musk told groveling paparazzi over the weekend night that he will “never again” sign autographs as he warned that the risk that someone will try to assassinate him is actually “quite significant.”

Musk told the paparazzi that he would no longer sign autographs after he landed in at Dulles International Airport Saturday night, TMZ reported.

“I want to be clear, I’m not doing any more signings ever again,” Musk said as he was surrounded by security guards.

The news comes after Musk said during a chat on Twitter Spaces Saturday afternoon that the risk to his security has increased in recent months.

Musk told listeners that he would “definitely” not “be doing any open-air car parades, let me put it that way,” Musk said. “Frankly the risk of something bad happening to me, or even literally being shot, is quite significant.” (Read more from “Elon Musk Will Not Sign Autographs ‘Ever Again’ as He Warns Assassination Risk Is ‘Quite Significant’” HERE)

Elon Musk Asks if Snowden, Assange Should Be Pardoned, This Is What Twitter Followers Say

Former Central Intelligence Agency contractor Edward Snowden, a self-proclaimed whistleblower, as well as Wikileaks founder Julian Assange have been pursued by the U.S. government for years over accusations they leaked confidential and sensitive information.

What Happened: Elon Musk on Saturday ran a poll on whether Assange and Snowden should be pardoned. He said the survey was not an expression of an opinion, but was meant to honor a promise he had made earlier. . .

Snowden Responds: Quote-tweeting the poll, Snowden said he and Assange were charged under a law designed to prevent fair trials. This law was originally aimed at suppressing an old, anti-war movement, he noted.

“Defendants are forbidden from mounting a public interest defense, juries prohibited from hearing it,” he added. (Read more from “Elon Musk Asks if Snowden, Assange Should Be Pardoned, This Is What Twitter Followers Say” HERE)

Seven More Texas Counties Express Support for Declaring Invasion at Border; Bringing Total to 40

Forty Texas counties have now declared an invasion at the southern U.S. border with Mexico, or have expressed support for Texas declaring an invasion. More are in the process of doing so, according to sources who’ve spoken to The Center Square.

The most recent to join the invasion call include the judges and commissioners of Collin, Fannin, Leon, Navarro, Shackelford, Somervell and Waller counties.

They are calling on Texas Gov. Greg Abbott to formally declare an invasion and repel it, which he has yet to do. The governor cited the invasion clauses of the Texas Constitution and U.S. Constitution in a Nov. 14 letter to county judges and in a Nov. 16 letter to President Joe Biden. He also wrote letters to the heads of the Texas Military Department and Department of Public Safety.

In his letter to judges, Abbott refers to a July 7 executive order he issued two days after the judges of Kinney, Goliad and Terrell first declared an invasion. The executive order doesn’t declare an invasion, it authorizes Texas law enforcement officers to apprehend illegal foreign nationals and return them to ports of entry. After Abbott tweeted content from part of the letter to judges without providing context, many misreported that he declared an invasion.

As a Trinity University professor explained to KSAT News, “You can’t declare the invasion via Twitter. There is a process to name it, to give a date to it, to put it out in kind of a public way.” (Read more from “Seven More Texas Counties Express Support for Declaring Invasion at Border; Bringing Total to 40” HERE)

Biden’s Domestic Terrorism Crusade Against White Supremacists Backfires on Minority Groups

Civil rights leaders are warning that President Biden’s domestic counterterrorism strategy aimed at rooting out White supremacy harms minority communities and those expressing political dissent.

The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, the nation’s largest civil rights organization, is calling on the White House to scale back its first-ever National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism. They say it has resulted in an overly broad definition of “terrorism” and gives federal authorities too much investigative leeway.

“This discretion, and an expansive view of what counts as ‘terrorism,’ has resulted in the targeting of communities of color and political dissent,” the group said in its recent report on confronting white supremacist violence.

Mr. Biden last year announced his sweeping strategy to deal with threats that, according to the administration, emerge from “racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists and networks whose racial, ethnic, or religious hatred leads them towards violence.”

The Department of Homeland Security deemed the threat of “racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists” a “national threat priority.” (Read more from “Biden’s Domestic Terrorism Crusade Against White Supremacists Backfires on Minority Groups” HERE)

John Bolton May Launch Presidential Bid to ‘Stop’ Trump

Donald Trump could face a challenge for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination from his own former national security adviser John Bolton, who condemned the ex-president’s call to “terminate” the Constitution on Monday.

Bolton said he would “absolutely” consider jumping into the presidential race to prevent Trump from winning the GOP nomination during an appearance on NBC News. He said his potential run would be motivated by Trump’s widely condemned remarks on the U.S. Constitution last week. . .

Bolton, on NBC News, called on other potential Republican presidential candidates to offer a strong rebuke of his post. And if they do not, Bolton said he would consider running himself.

“I’d like to see Shermanesque statements from all the potential candidates,” Bolton said. “If I don’t see that, I’m going to seriously consider getting in.” (Read more from “John Bolton May Launch Presidential Bid to ‘Stop’ Trump” HERE)

Detransitioner Who Had Breasts Removed Says She Is Suing Doctors Who Approved Surgery

A woman who previously identified as nonbinary is suing the professionals that approved her for a gender-affirming mastectomy.

Camille Kiefel, 32, filed a lawsuit against social worker Amy Ruff, mental health therapist Mara Burmeister, and their respective clinics for approving her for a double mastectomy after two visits. Both visits happened over Zoom, one in May and one in June, before her surgery occurred in August 2020. Now Kiefel is seeking $850,000 in damages from Ruff, Burmeister, the Brave Space Oregon, and the Quest Center for Integrative Health.

Kiefel’s complaint alleges these defendants gave her “unnecessary, irreversible treatment” without considering her other mental health problems, which she reported include anxiety disorder, social anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, major depressive disorder, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. In addition, she reported post-surgery complications, including troubles with swallowing, a faulty nausea treatment that resulted in scopolamine poisoning due to a patch on the back of her ear, and pupil dilation that lasted for months. Arizona Certifies Midterm Election Results Despite GOP Challenges

Arizona election officials certified the midterm election results on Monday, declaring Democrats winners in high-profile Senate and gubernatorial races over Republican candidates who falsely claimed the 2020 election was rigged.

The certification now opens a five-day window for challenges to the election. The Republican candidate for governor, Kari Lake, is expected to file a lawsuit after criticizing the administration of the election.

Katie Hobbs, the Democratic secretary of state, will be the next governor, Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) will keep his seat for a six-year term, and Adrian Fontes, the former Maricopa County recorder, will be secretary of state. The attorney general’s race will go to an automatic recount following the certification after Democrat Kris Mayes led Republican Abraham Hamadeh by only 510 votes, a result of recent rule changes by the state legislature. Report: Biden Administration Launches Probe Into Elon Musk Company Neuralink

The Biden administration is reportedly investigating a company owned by Twitter CEO Elon Musk.

According to a lengthy article Monday night by Reuters news agency, the medical-device firm Neuralink is under investigation by the Agriculture Department for animal-welfare violations.

Citing “documents reviewed by Reuters and sources familiar with the investigation and company operations,” the British news agency reported that the accusations include rushing the animal-testing process and inflicting unnecessary death and suffering on test animals.

The USDA inspector general is looking into violations of the Animal Welfare Act, which covers experimental animals.

Neuralink is working on brain injuries, including paralysis preventing someone from walking, by trying to develop a brain implant. (Read more from “Report: Biden Administration Launches Probe Into Elon Musk Company Neuralink” HERE)

Fauci Deposition Transcript Released: ‘I Don’t Recall’ 174 Times

Louisiana and Missouri on Monday released the entirety of the November 23, 2022, deposition of Dr. Anthony Fauci as part of the lawsuit against the Biden administration and federal government, which Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry (R) said confirms that “federal bureaucrats in collusion with social media companies want to control not only what you think, but especially what you say.”

The lawsuit focused on allegations of federal officials colluding with social media companies to censor speech, and Fauci’s deposition, Landry explained, shows that “social engineering tactics were used against the American public, not to limit your exposure to a virus, but to limit your exposure to information that did not fit within a government sanctioned narrative.”

The deposition shows Fauci, again, attempting to sidestep the reality of gain of function research being conducted at the Wuhan lab, deeming gain of function a “misleading terminology” and pointing to “outside groups” — but not the National Institutes of Health (NIH)— that decided to “strictly define the guardrails of experiments that would require additional oversight and did away with the terminology ‘gain of function’ because it can often be very confusing and misleading.”

However, throughout the deposition, Fauci feigned ignorance, stating, “I don’t recall” 174 times when facing questions about various emails, interviews, or “other important documents,” as described by Landry’s press release.

At one point, for instance, Fauci claimed he was not aware of an EcoHealth Alliance grant, awarded by the NIH which was then sub-awarded to the Wuhan lab.
