By now you’ve no doubt heard about President Joe Biden’s interview with “60 Minutes” in which he declared the pandemic “over” and said unequivocally that, “yes,” the United States will come to Taiwan’s defense whenever China attacks. He also made some dubious claims about inflation. . .

I went to the grocery store and ran some numbers, and I too was shocked by what I found. . .

While doing some personal shopping, I took inventory of basic items (universal brands if the store had them), some of which were “on sale.” I documented each item’s regular price. Then, using data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), I cross-referenced those prices with grocery costs during a comparable time in recent memory: the last midterms in 2018 under President Donald Trump — a year and a half into the presidency and during a time of strong political incentives to keep Americans happy. . .

Let’s start with breakfast, as you do. In September 2018, bacon cost $5.50 per pound, according to BLS averages. Today, those delicious piggy strips will run you about $7.99 per pound for your run-of-the-mill brand. . .

Here’s How Much Joe Biden’s Student Loan Cancellations Cost

The Biden administration’s plan to cancel student debt is estimated by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) to cost the U.S. federal government over $400 billion over the next 30 years.

Biden’s plan, announced in August, involves providing up to $10,000 in debt relief to borrowers who earn less than $125,000 per year, or $20,000 in debt relief to Pell Grant recipients who meet similar income standards. An application to receive the benefit is expected in early October.

“As of June 30, 2022, 43 million borrowers held $1.6 trillion in federal student loans. About $430 billion of that debt will be canceled, CBO estimates,” CBO Director Phillip Swagel told Republican lawmakers in a letter on Monday (pdf), in response to a request for figures.

“In its May 2022 baseline, CBO projected that for many borrowers in income-driven repayment plans, a portion of the amounts canceled through executive action would eventually be forgiven anyway,” he added. “CBO also projected that many borrowers in fixed-length repayment plans would accrue and pay interest on the principal amounts canceled through executive action. ‘He’s Never Seen a Naked Woman’: MSNBC Panel Ridicules Sen. Lindsey Graham During Wild Segment About Abortion

Lindsey Graham’s sexuality was mocked last week by an MSNBC panel disagreeing with the senator’s controversial stance regarding abortion policy, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The startling segment took place Friday night during MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle’s program, The 11th Hour, in which she sat around a table with her four guests: CBS Sunday Morning’s Nancy Giles, CNBC’s Ron Insana, MSNBC columnist Liz Plank and the comedian Judy Gold.

But while the boisterous panel criticized Graham for his stance on abortion policy, Ruhle and her guests also ridiculed the 67-year-old GOP senator and suggested Graham has not only “never seen a naked woman” but they also seemingly suggested the senator is gay. . .

“And, the fact that he is telling women what to do with their bodies…” Gold quickly responded. “He’s never seen a vagina! He’s never seen a naked woman! And he is telling me?”

“We don’t know that for sure,” Ruhle countered. ‘It’s Killing Us’: Flesh-Eating Drug ‘Tranq’ Meant for Animals Now Linked to Thousands of Heroin, Fentanyl ODs

The flesh-eating animal tranquilizer xylazine has been linked to thousands of drug overdoses across the country as it inundates heroin and fentanyl supplies in places such as Philadelphia, Delaware and Michigan, reports say.

Known on the street as “tranq,” the sedative is now found in 91% of Philly’s heroin and fentanyl supplies, according to a report earlier this month in the peer-reviewed journal Science Direct.

Anecdotal evidence suggests that its prevalence is also soaring in President Joe Biden’s home state of Delaware, it was reported last week.

In Michigan, deaths from the drug, which is often used on horses as a muscle relaxant and anesthetic, increased 86.8% between 2019 and 2020 before dropping off slightly in 2021, the Detroit Free Press reported Friday. In the past two years, it was detected in half the opioid deaths in the Ann Arbor region, accelerating fears of its westward proliferation, the paper said.

Former Fox News Host Bombs in CNN Debut

A new show hosted by former Fox News host and current CNN host Chris Wallace fell flat in its debut.

Nielsen Media Research tracked ratings for Wallace’s show, Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace, which debuted on CNN Sunday. The ratings show that there were 401,000 viewers, down 29% from the average, and 44,000 among those aged 25 to 54, down 64% from the average.

Sunday Night in America with Trey Gowdy, a long-standing Fox News program that aired at the same time as Wallace’s, received 1.3 million viewers and 78,000 viewers aged 25 to 54.

Transtape, Chest Binders and Packers: The ‘Gender-Affirming’ Gear Public Schools Are Stocking up On

In a push to create a “safer and more inclusive” environment, K-12 school districts are creating gender-affirming closets, giving students access to chest binders, stand-to-pee devices and makeup to help students change their gender identity.

Libraries, children’s hospitals and LGBTQ organizations are partnering with school districts to provide money and resources to build gender-affirming closets in the public institutions. The materials provided to students aid them in gender transitioning by mimicking the other sex.

The Driftwood Public Library in Lincoln City, Oregon, held a “Gender-Affirming Closet Donation Kickoff” in August to receive donations from the community for the gender-affirming closet at the local high school. The library asked for donations of tucking tape and chest binders in addition to bras and boxers.

“No Left Turn in Education is concerned by the trend of public schools across the nation offering gender-affirming closets for students that include products such as chest binders for girls and tucking tape for boys,” No Left Turn In Education Chief Communications Director Yael Levin told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “Not only does this usurp parents’ rights, but it is practicing mental health gender-affirming medical care without staff being licensed mental health professionals and without parental knowledge or consent.” (Read more from “Transtape, Chest Binders and Packers: The ‘Gender-Affirming’ Gear Public Schools Are Stocking up On” HERE)

Obama Says Racism Reason Why Americans Oppose Biden’s Open Borders

Americans oppose President Joe Biden’s lawless and wage-cutting mass migration because they are racist, not because of their economic worries, according to former President Barack Obama.

“Right now, the biggest fuel behind the Republican agenda is related to immigration and the fear that somehow America’s character is going to be changed if, people of darker shades, there are too many of them here,” Obama told a meeting of Hispanic realtors on September 25 in San Diego, California.

Obama used his divide-and-rule claims of racism to hide the public opposition to migration’s economic impact, according to his comments posted in a September 25 report by the San Diego Union-Tribune:

I wish I could be more euphemistic about it except [they’re] not that subtle about it — they’re just kind of saying it,” Obama said. “You hear it on hard-right media, you hear it from candidates and politicians, you hear things like ‘great replacement theory’ — I mean, this is not subtle. Unless we’re able to return to a more inclusive vision inside the Republican Party, it’s going to be hard to get a bill done.

This Senator Wants to Know Why Pro-Lifers Are Held to an Unequal Standard by Biden’s DOJ

The Department of Justice (DOJ) under President Joe Biden has not only gone after former President Donald Trump, who may be a political rival once more in 2024, but ordinary citizens as well. As Sarah covered over the weekend, the FBI raided the home of and arrested Mark Houck for allegedly violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act. The raid came in the early morning hours of last Friday, as Houck’s wife and seven children watched in horror. The details keep getting worse, too, with the raid adding insult to injury considering Houck was already going to have turned himself in.

Houck, however, does appear to have support from Republican members of Congress though. On Monday, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), who has been tweeting and retweeting his outrage about Houck’s arrest, sent a letter addressed to Attorney General Merrick Garland inquiring about the tactics employed.

The FBI Lied to a Judge So They Could Bust Open Thousands of Safety Deposit Boxes

It looks like the FBI is in for yet another scandal.

According to a new report from the LA Times, FBI agents busted into thousands of safety deposit boxes in California. After they rummaged through the private property of innocent people, it turns out they lied to a federal judge to get access to the boxes in the first place.

“The privacy invasion was vast when FBI agents drilled and pried their way into 1,400 safe-deposit boxes at the U.S. Private Vaults store in Beverly Hills. They rummaged through personal belongings of a jazz saxophone player, an interior designer, a retired doctor, a flooring contractor, two Century City lawyers and hundreds of others,” the LA Times reports. “Agents took photos and videos of pay stubs, password lists, credit cards, a prenuptial agreement, immigration and vaccination records, bank statements, heirlooms and a will, court records show. In one box, agents found cremated human remains.”

“Eighteen months later, newly unsealed court documents show that the FBI and U.S. attorney’s office in Los Angeles got their warrant for that raid by misleading the judge who approved it,” the report continues. “They omitted from their warrant request a central part of the FBI’s plan: Permanent confiscation of everything inside every box containing at least $5,000 in cash or goods, a senior FBI agent recently testified.”

Trump Predicts: ‘Biden May Lead Us to WWIII’

During a North Carolina rally, Trump warned that President Joe Biden’s leadership will lead the country into WWIII.

Noting Biden’s failed economic policies, Trump said that the stock market is the worst it’s been since 1872.

“But now, we are a nation in decline. We are a failing nation. Donald Trump Says ‘Stupid’ Biden Administration Could Trigger World War Three With Putin Over Ukraine, and Predicts US Would Lose Conflict to Russia

By Daily Mail. Former President Trump said he hopes is ‘wrong’ about the possibility of World War III because the U.S. is being run by ‘stupid people’ at a rally in Wilmington, N.C. on Friday.

‘I was right about Ukraine. I was right about what, Taiwan and I’m hoping I’m not going to be right about World War Three, because we have stupid people dealing,’ the former president said, as he predicted the U.S. would lose a conflict to Russia.

‘You could end up in World War III and this will be a war like we’ve never had before – won’t even be close, because we’re being run by stupid people.’

‘Putin mentioned the N word,’ Trump told the crowd. ‘You know what the N word is? It’s– no, no, no, it’s the nuclear word. You mentioned the N word yesterday. The nuclear were not supposed to be mentioned,’ Trump continued, as he claimed the Russian invasion ‘never would’ve happened’ under his presidency.

In a rare speech to the Russian nation on Wednesday morning, Putin insisted he would use ‘all means’ necessary to defend swathes of territory seized or set to be annexed by Kremlin forces in the Ukraine.
