‘They Are Getting Ready for Trump’s Second Term’: Former Pentagon Brass Encourage Military to Disobey Orders

In an ominous open letter published on wonky national security site War on the Rocks Tuesday, eight former secretaries of defense and five former chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff warned of what they call an “exceptionally challenging civil-military environment” developing in the United States that apparently concerned them enough to publish their thoughts ahead of November’s consequential midterm elections. Never mind, apparently, that the signatories were at the helm of the U.S. military for the better part of the last two decades during which that “environment” was degraded.

Citing “extreme strain” to “[m]any of the factors that shape civil-military relations” in “recent years,” the letter points to “the winding down of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and the ramping up of great power conflict” while alluding to the fact that last August’s withdrawal from Afghanistan — and fresh chaos in Iraq — mean that “the U.S. military must simultaneously come to terms with wars that ended without all the goals satisfactorily accomplished while preparing for more daunting competition with near-peer rivals.”

The letter also not-so-subtly refers to “the divisiveness of affective polarization that culminated in the first election in over a century when the peaceful transfer of political power was disrupted and in doubt” as a reason “military professionals confront an extremely adverse environment.”

“Looking ahead, all of these factors could well get worse before they get better,” the former Pentagon officials warn. “In such an environment, it is helpful to review the core principles and best practices by which civilian and military professionals have conducted healthy American civil-military relations in the past — and can continue to do so, if vigilant and mindful.” (Read more from “‘They Are Getting Ready for Trump’s Second Term’: Former Pentagon Brass Encourage Military to Disobey Orders” HERE)

Has the Trump Raid Made Bill Barr Forget All About Deep-State Deceit?

On Friday and again on Tuesday, Barr appeared on Fox News to discuss the Mar-a-Lago raid and the Department of Justice’s investigation into former President Donald Trump. During both appearances, Barr repeated the storylines pushed by the D.C. media cartel since news first broke that the FBI had raided Trump’s Florida home.

In his appearance on “America Reports” on Friday, Barr told hosts Sandra Smith and John Roberts he personally thought that for the DOJ “to take things to the current point they probably have pretty good evidence.” Barr continued:

Now let me just say I think the driver on this from the beginning was loads of classified information sitting in Mar-a-Lago. People say this was also unprecedented but it’s also unprecedented for a president to take all this classified information and put it in a country club, OK. How long is the government going to try to get that? They jawbone for a year. They were deceived on the voluntary actions taken. They then went and got a subpoena. They were deceived on that, they feel. And the facts are starting to show they were being jerk around. And so how long do they wait?

While he caveated his comments as “speculation,” and noted that until we see the evidence, “it’s hard to say,” Barr’s conclusions flow from the assumption that the details made public by the DOJ and the leaks to the media represent the truth — and the whole truth.

But those very same leaks should make Barr leery. Special Counsel John Durham’s team is leak free. Similarly, the other men Barr trusted to handle the sensitive investigations into the Clinton Foundation, the inappropriate prosecution of Michael Flynn, and the evidence of the Biden family corruption coming from Ukraine, ensured their teams kept the investigations confidential. Conversely, the previous get-Trump plots all relied on media leaks to push falsehoods about the investigations, whether it was Crossfire Hurricane, Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, or the impeachment efforts. Wells Fargo, Target, Citibank, Hewlett-Packard Sponsor Child Drag Performances

Wells Fargo, Target, Hewlett-Packard, and CitiBank are sponsoring an event in Boise, Idaho, that will feature child drag performers.

The Boise Pride Festival will have an event called “Drag Kids on Stage.” The description reads, “You have watched the queens and kings, now it’s time to see the kids.”

It goes on to call the performances “a drag show like none other” and notes that those between the ages of 11 and 18 will be performing.

MAYHEM IN MEMPHIS: Lunatic Who Livestreamed Shooting Rampage in Police Custody

A crazed gunman was arrested after carrying out multiple shootings Wednesday night in Memphis – some of which he reportedly live streamed on Facebook, police said.

Ezekiel Kelly, 19, who has a violent criminal record, terrorized the city for hours and led police on a wild chase before his eventual arrest at about 9:30 p.m., according to authorities and multiple reports. Charges against him have not been announced.

Memphis police first warned the public to stay away from Kelly, whom they said was “armed and dangerous” in a 7 p.m. social media post.

The department reported two shootings within minutes of one another around 4:35 p.m., though it was unclear if Kelly was suspected in those crimes.

A man was shot dead at a gas station on East Parkway around 4:35 p.m. and one minute later, a woman was shot and critically injured on Norris Road near I-240, News3 reported. (Read more from “Lunatic Who Livestreamed Shooting Rampage in Memphis in Police Custody” HERE)

Nearly 1 in 4 Democratic Voters Believe Men Can Get Pregnant: Poll

Nearly one in four Democratic voters believe men can get pregnant, according to a new poll.

The online survey, conducted by WPA Intelligence from August 22-25, found 22% of Democrats agreed with the statement, “Some men can get pregnant.” The percentage rose when only including women, and a whopping 36% of white, college-educated female Democrats concurred.

“Overall, few Americans think men can get pregnant,” said WPAi Managing Director Conor Maguire. “But with 36% of a core Democratic constituency (college-educated white Democratic women) and one out of five Democrat voters believing this, one can see why Democratic leaders coddle the radical gender theory movement.”

The poll underscores the Left’s growing embrace of a radical gender theory that biological sex does not dictate gender. People born female can later “identify” as men while retaining the ability to reproduce; hence the claim “men” can become pregnant. A recent Pew Research poll found that about 5% of young adults in the U.S. believe it’s possible to identify into a gender that differs from their biological sex.

The American Civil Liberties Union, the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and numerous liberal media outlets, including CNN and MSNBC, are increasingly opting for terms such as “pregnant people,” or “birthing parent,” instead of “women” when referencing pregnancy, fertility and abortion. Report: Steve Bannon to Be Indicted, Will Surrender to N.Y. Authorities

Steve Bannon reportedly faces a new set of criminal charges and will surrender to New York authorities on Thursday.

According to a report Tuesday evening in The Washington Post, the ex-adviser to former President Donald Trump likely will be indicted in state court for conduct similar to a federal charge for which Mr. Trump pardoned him.

“The precise details of the state case could not be confirmed Tuesday evening,” the Post acknowledged.

But, citing “people familiar with the situation,” the Post reported that the charges relate to fraud counts in the “We Build the Wall” case.

‘Cowboys for Trump’ Co-founder Removed From Office Over Involvement in Jan. 6 Capitol Riot

A New Mexico state judge used a 14th Amendment provision Tuesday to order the removal of an Otero County official, who co-founded Cowboys for Trump, from public office due to his presence at the U.S. Capitol building on January 6, 2021.

Judge Francis Mathew of the 1st Judicial District Court in Santa Fe, New Mexico, disqualified Otero County Commissioner Couy Griffin from his post effective immediately under Section Three of the 14th Amendment. The clause prohibits those sworn an oath to uphold the Constitution from holding federal or state office if they “have engaged in insurrection or rebellion.”

U.S. officials ratified the provision initially meant to prevent members of the Confederacy from serving in public office shortly after the Civil War.

Mathew wrote in a 49-page decision that Griffin “engaged in … the attack on the United States Capitol and surrounding planning, mobilization, and incitement were an ‘insurrection’ against the Constitution of the United States” just before Congress was scheduled on January 6 to certify the results of the 2020 presidential election. Oz Says He Would Have Voted to Certify 2020 Election, Acquit Trump

Pennsylvania GOP Senate nominee and television personality Dr. Mehmet Oz said Tuesday that had he been in the Senate on Jan. 6, he would have voted to certify the results of the 2020 presidential election but would have voted to acquit former President Donald Trump in the aftermath.

Oz made the comments at a Philadelphia press conference alongside Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA), whose seat Oz is seeking. Toomey did vote to convict Trump on the article of impeachment tied to his efforts to overturn President Joe Biden’s victory.

Oz told NBC that he “would not have objected to” certifying the election results in 2020.

“By the time the delegates and those reports were sent to the U.S. Senate, our job was to approve it, which is what I would have done,” Oz said.

There’s Something off About This Tweet From Joe Biden

There is nothing believable about this Joe Biden tweet. Some random 51-year-old woman says the economy is going so well, thanks to Biden’s leadership, that she and her husband can now save up for a house. The image screams ‘photoshopped,’ but it’s a continuation of the liberal trend on social media that only serve to reconfirm their biases. You’ve all seen the equally inauthentic ‘my son, daughter, or loved one said’ tweets in which interactions that never happened end up attacking a conservative or Trump policy. Liberals who say their four-year-old kids are intimate with inside-the-ballpark activities within the DC Beltway is the dead giveaway that nothing in the post is accurate. And now, Joe Biden has joined the game. He’s a little late but still comical in how these posts never pass the smell test.

Attorney Harmeet Dhillon pointed out that all this message proved, if honest, that Biden voters are financially illiterate. What should also give you pause is how consumer and credit card debt has soared to its highest levels in years. No one is saving in a manner that could allow for a home purchase. Foreign Nuclear Secrets Among Docs Found in Trump Raid: Report

In a stunning leak from the Department of Justice, a report on Tuesday disclosed information about top secret documents that were reportedly among the files seized by FBI agents at Donald Trump’s Florida resort last month.

Citing sources “familiar with the search,” The Washington Post said the documents detailed a foreign government’s military defenses and nuclear capabilities and can only be viewed by a select group of top officials.

The disclosure was published Tuesday, a day after the former president’s legal team won a request for a special master to review the documents over his lawyers’ concerns the feds would “impugn, leak, and publicize select aspects of their investigation.”

The foreign government described in the highly sensitive documents was not revealed by the sources but the news reportedly heightened concerns about the more than 100 classified documents found at the property and hundreds of others voluntarily recovered from Mar-a-Lago — some of which detail top-secret US operations that even senior national security officers were not aware of, according to the report.

Some special-access programs detailed in the documents were only authorized to be viewed by the president, some Cabinet members, and a couple dozen other government employees on a need-to-know basis, the article said.
