‘The Big Guy’ Hunter’s Biz Partner Called Biden in Panicked Text After Post’s Laptop Story

One of Hunter Biden’s former business partners referred to Joe Biden as “the Big Guy” in a panicked message the same day The Post broke news of the infamous laptop from hell left behind by the president’s son, The Post has learned.

James Gilliar, a former British special forces officer with ties to UK intelligence services, discussed The Post’s exclusive report with an unnamed person on Oct. 14, 2020, according to the message provided by a whistleblower to GOP congressional investigators probing the laptop.

In the message, Gilliar, 58, reassured the person that the revelations about Biden’s apparent involvement in his son’s foreign deals would not be damaging — regardless of the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.

Gilliar was asked if “Hunter and/or Joe or Joe’s campaign [would] try to make it ‘Oh, we were never involved’ … and try to basically make us collateral damage?” . . .

“If they lose, honestly, I don’t think that the Big Guy really cares about that because he’ll be too busy focusing on all the other s–t he is doing.” (Read more from “‘The Big Guy’ Hunter’s Biz Partner Called Biden in Panicked Text After Post’s Laptop Story” HERE)

Biden After Getting Coronavirus: Keep Wearing Masks, Get Vaccinated but You Will Probably Get Infected Anyway

President Joe Biden emerged from coronavirus isolation Wednesday urging Americans to continue wearing masks indoors and getting their vaccine shots.

“My symptoms were mild, recovery was quick, and I’m feeling great,” Biden said proudly.

The president delivered a speech outdoors in the Rose Garden in front of reporters, the first time he has appeared at an in-person event since he first tested positive.

The president repeated his advice to Americans about the importance of wearing masks.

“You should consider wearing a mask when you’re in a crowded indoor public place,” he said. “These precautions add an extra layer of protection for you and for those around you.” (Read more from “Biden After Getting Coronavirus: Keep Wearing Masks, Get Vaccinated but You Will Probably Get Infected Anyway” HERE)

Trump to Sue CNN

Former President Donald Trump notified CNN of his intention to file a lawsuit against the network for “repeated defamatory statements” in a statement Wednesday.

Ifrah Law, a Washington-based law firm, filed a Notice of Intent ordering the network, under Florida Statute § 770.02, to “publish a full and fair correction, apology, or retraction” in published pieces or broadcasts that allegedly made “false statements” about the former president. The notice warned that failure to issue an apology will result in a lawsuit.

“Failure to publish such a correction, apology, or retraction will result in the filing of a lawsuit and damages being sought against you, CNN,” the document warned.

Trump warned he will be suing other media outlets that have “defamed and defrauded the public” about the 2020 presidential election results.

“I have notified CNN of my intent to file a lawsuit over their repeated defamatory statements against me,” Trump said. “I will also be commencing actions against other media outlets who have defamed me and defrauded the public regarding the overwhelming evidence of fraud throughout the 2020 Election. I will never stop fighting for the truth and for the future of our Country!” (Read more from “Trump to Sue CNN” HERE)

42 Proposals Trump Outlined at AF Summit

Former President Donald J. Trump laid out 42 policy proposals at the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) summit Tuesday, where he gave his first speech in Washington, DC, since leaving office.

Prepared remarks circulated by the Trump team show the 45th president’s proposals on an array of topics, including the Second Amendment, border security, education, energy, and election integrity, but a central focus of his policy proposal addresses law and order.

1. The prepared remarks first emphasized the importance of supporting police departments throughout the country and fostering a culture that respects law enforcement. “We have to give our police back their authority, resources, power, and prestige. Leave our police alone. Let them do their job. Give them back their RESPECT. They know what to do. We have to allow them to do it,” Trump’s plan said.

2. On top of giving officers the tools they need to succeed, Trump’s policy proposal called for the restitution of “stop-and-frisk policies in cities,” adding that it is imperative guns are taken from criminals. “If you are a convicted felon and you have a gun, you’re off the streets,” the proposal asserts.

3. Trump also proposed strengthening “qualified immunity and other protections for our police officers.”

Whistleblowers Accuse FBI of ‘Padding’ Domestic Terrorism Stats to Play Up Threat: Report

FBI officials are allegedly pressuring agents to reclassify cases as “domestic violent extremism,” despite weak evidence that the cases belong in such a category.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, said in a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray on Wednesday that whistleblowers at the FBI say the bureau is “padding domestic terrorism data” to make the threat seem larger than it is. The bureau is misclassifying cases as due to Domestic Violent Extremists (DVEs) to support an administration “narrative” about the threat presented by DVEs, Jordan said.

“From recent protected disclosures, we have learned that FBI officials are pressuring agents to reclassify cases as ‘domestic violent extremism’ even if the cases do not meet the criteria for such a classification. Given the narrative pushed by the Biden administration that domestic violent extremism is the ‘greatest threat’ facing our country, revelation that the FBI may be artificially padding domestic terrorism data is scandalous,” Jordan wrote.

“We have received accusations that FBI agents are bolstering the number of cases of DVEs to satisfy their superiors. For example, one whistleblower explained that because agents are not finding enough DVE cases, they are encouraged and incentivized to reclassify cases as DVE cases even though there is minimal, circumstantial evidence to support the reclassification,” he continued.

Jordan reported that the bureau has created a system of rewards for agents who classify cases under the DVE label. (Read more from “Whistleblowers Accuse FBI of ‘Padding’ Domestic Terrorism Stats to Play Up Threat: Report” HERE)

U.S. Army Reboots, Reorients to Confront China, Back Allies in Region

The U.S. Army is building up forces and international ties throughout the Indo-Pacific region to counter growing Chinese aggression and strengthen nervous regional allies, the commander of the U.S. Army Pacific said in an interview.

Gen. Charles A. Flynn, in charge of more than 100,000 Army soldiers stationed from India to Alaska, said the vast region is not a theater that can be patrolled and defended solely by American air and naval forces.

“A lot of people say it’s an air and maritime environment. No, it’s not. It’s a joint environment and requires joint solutions,” Gen. Flynn said in an exclusive talk with The Washington Times.

A combat officer who fought in Afghanistan and Iraq, Gen. Flynn has spent nearly a decade in Asia building close ties with fellow army leaders in the region, many of whom are now senior commanders, defense chiefs or civilian government leaders.

Gen. Flynn is now the senior leader of a “theater army” spread throughout the Pacific and Indian oceans. He said the force plays a crucial role in keeping the peace with an increasingly confrontational China. (Read more from “U.S. Army Reboots, Reorients to Confront China, Back Allies in Region” HERE)

Shocker: ‘Conservative’ John Roberts Tried to Flip Justices to Preserve Roe v. Wade

Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts reportedly tried to persuade his conservative colleagues to preserve Roe v. Wade — but the shocking leak of Justice Samuel Alito’s draft majority opinion abruptly ended his campaign, according to one report. . .

CNN legal analyst Joan Biskupic revealed in a new story — which is filled with biased language that promotes the pro-abortion agenda — that Roberts lobbied the court’s conservative-leaning justices for months before the leak.

His reported goal? Preserve the scaffolding of abortion rights.

After hearing oral arguments for the case in December, the justices took an initial vote, which succeeded in overturning Roe. That is when Roberts’ campaign began, CNN reported.

Over the course of the next several months, Roberts discussed his concerns about overturning Roe, targeting Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett. Roberts reportedly wanted to uphold Mississippi’s 15-week ban on abortion, but at the same time preserve the framework of Roe. Monkeypox’s Inconvenient Truth

As the Biden administration considers declaring monkeypox a public health emergency, an epidemiologist says the easiest way to combat its spread is to discourage the practices of “aggressively hypersexualized gay men.”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that the U.S. has 2,890 diagnosed cases of the virus, which causes sores and open lesions on the skin, on Monday. Public health authorities acknowledge monkeypox is largely confined to men who have sex with men.

“Transmission was suspected to have occurred through sexual activity in 95% of the persons with infection,” according to a monkeypox study published late last week in The New England Journal of Medicine. “Overall, 98% of the persons with infection were gay or bisexual men.”

One in three people who tested positive for monkeypox had visited “sex-on-site venues” within the past month, the study found, and one in five “attended large gatherings (>30 persons), such as Pride events.”

“This particular outbreak has been fueled, suffice it to say, by gay bacchanalia,” Dr. Andrew G. Bostom, an epidemiologist and research physician at Brown University, said on Monday’s “Washington Watch with Tony Perkins.” He highlighted the study’s finding that those who contracted the virus had a median number of five sex partners in the past three months, and 20% engaged in “chemsex” (sex under the influence of drugs). At Odds: Pence Says He and Trump ‘Differ on Focus,’ Not Issues

Former Vice President Mike Pence admitted that he and ex-President Donald Trump “may differ” on their focus for the future of the Republican Party, but he would not go so far as to say the movement was “divided” as the two potential 2024 presidential candidates were scheduled to hold back-to-back events in Washington, DC, on Tuesday. . .

“President Trump and yourself are both speaking this week in DC. And there seems to be a divide between the two of you on your outlook on what the future of the conservative movement might be,” Andrew Rashard, a student at Gettysburg College, asked the former vice president.

“So do you think that this divide extends to the rest of the conservative movement like the general public, and what do you think we can do to alleviate it? . . .

“So I don’t know that our movement is that divided,” he said. “I don’t — I don’t know that the president and I differ on issues.

“But we may differ on focus,” Pence admitted. (Read more from “At Odds: Pence Says He and Trump ‘Differ on Focus,’ Not Issues” HERE)

Study Reveals Disturbing New Symptoms of Long COVID

. . .Well-known symptoms of long COVID include fatigue, fogginess and for some, the long-term loss of smell and taste.

However, a new study has found that there is a broader range of symptoms, including hair loss, loss of libido, incontinence and erectile dysfunction in men — and some people are more susceptible than others.

Researchers from the University of Birmingham analyzed the health records of around 2.4 million people in the UK, finding that those who had been infected with COVID-19 reported 63 symptoms more frequently 12 weeks after they were infected compared to those who hadn’t been infected.

Researchers of the study — published in Nature Medicine — broke the most common symptoms into three categories: respiratory symptoms, mental health and cognitive problems. Other common symptoms include loss of smell, shortness of breath, chest pain and fever, nausea and vomiting, fever, bowel incontinence, erectile dysfunction, anhedonia (lack of enjoyment) and limb swelling.

The study suggests that particular groups of people are more likely to develop long COVID, namely females, younger people and those belonging to a black, mixed or another ethnic group. (Read more from “Study Reveals Disturbing New Symptoms of Long COVID” HERE)
