Consequently, their supposedly superior ends naturally justify almost any means necessary to achieve them.

Among the elite, the Democrats’ “blue wall” states were once considered a testament to the wisdom of the Electoral College. When that wall crumbled in 2016 to Donald Trump, the Electoral College suddenly was blasted as a relic of our anti-democratic Founders.

The nine-person Supreme Court was once beloved. On issues like abortion, school prayer, same-sex marriage, pornography, and Miranda rights, the left cheered the court as it made the law and ignored legislatures and presidents. . .

Over a Third of GOP Voters to Back Candidate Who Embraces Trump’s Stolen-Election Claims, Says Poll

More than a third of Republicans say they are more likely to vote for a candidate who says the 2020 election was stolen from former President Donald Trump, a new poll shows.

A Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday found that 35% of Republicans say they are more likely to support a candidate who embraces the stolen election claims, compared to 17% who said they would be less likely.

The remaining 44% of Republicans in the nationwide survey of adults said it makes “no difference.”

Conversely, 81% of Democrats said they would be less likely to vote for a candidate who embraces the stolen election claim, while 2% said they would be more likely to back one. Forty-four percent of independents said they would be less likely to support a stolen-election candidate, while 11% said they would be more likely to back one.

Mr. Trump’s stolen election claims and efforts to challenge the results of the 2020 election have taken center stage on Capitol Hill, where the Democratic-led Jan. 6 committee is holding hearings examining the events that led to last year’s riot at the U.S. Capitol. School Club Asked Students How They Know They’re Straight

A student leadership and diversity club in a Phoenix-area school district asked students a series of questions on their sexuality, including how they knew they were straight.

The question was part of a program used by the Unitown Club in the Scottsdale Unified School District to discuss sexual orientation with students, according to emails released by the Arizona Daily Independent. The club’s description contains no reference to sexual education.

The curriculum, which was created by the organization Anytown Learning, lists 16 discussion questions on sexual orientation, including what students think caused their heterosexuality, how they decided they were heterosexual, why heterosexual relationships are unstable, and whether they had considered that heterosexuality was a phase they would grow out of.

Hunter Biden Paid Full-Time Salary to Stripper Who Had His Child

Hunter Biden paid a full-time salary to the exotic dancer with whom he fathered a child in 2018, according to deleted payroll files recovered from a copy of his abandoned laptop.

Lunden Roberts earned $1,500 for 40 hours of work from Biden’s company, Owasco PC, on Nov. 16, 2018, according to a recovered payroll file obtained exclusively by Washington Examiner. Two other recovered files show Owasco spent an additional $521.37 to provide health, dental, and vision insurance coverage for Roberts for the same month.

The payroll records were part of a trove of 168,000 deleted files the Washington Examiner recovered from a copy of Biden’s abandoned laptop. Konstantinos “Gus” Dimitrelos, a cyber forensics expert commissioned by the Washington Examiner to examine the hard drive, retrieved the deleted files from unallocated space on the drive using a technique called data carving.

Roberts sued Biden in Arkansas for child support in 2019. She disclosed in court filings that his company paid her from May 2018 through November 2018, but the specific amounts were not publicly disclosed. Nuclear Bomb Simulator Used 9 Million Times Since Russia Invaded Ukraine; As Finland Nears NATO, Russia Flags ‘Full-Fledged Nuclear War’ Risk

By Newsweek. A nuclear bomb simulator website has experienced a huge increase in visits since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine earlier this year, the creator told Newsweek.

The simulator—called NUKEMAP—was created by Alex Wellerstein, a historian of nuclear weapons, who is an associate professor at the Stevens Institute of Technology, in Hoboken, New Jersey.

On February 24, Russian forces began advancing into Ukrainian territory across several fronts, marking a major escalation in a conflict that started in 2014. Following the invasion, NATO activated its defense plans, while Sweden and Finland applied for membership to the organization, much to Russia’s displeasure.

As Finland Nears NATO, Russia Flags ‘Full-Fledged Nuclear War’ Risk

By Newsweek. Former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev has warned of the risk of “open conflict” between Moscow and NATO, which could escalate into a nuclear war, just as Finland announced plans to join the alliance.

Although he did not mention Russia’s neighbor by name, Medvedev, who is the deputy chairman of his country’s Security Council, raised the threat of nuclear war in a Telegram post which was published less than an hour after Helsinki announced its NATO intentions.

The Russian foreign ministry said on Thursday that, following Finland’s move, it will be “forced to take retaliatory steps, both of a military-technical and other nature to stop the threats to its national security,” RIA Novosti reported. Stacey Abrams Trashes Georgia on Campaign Trail: ‘Worst State in the Country to Live’

Gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams ridiculed the state of Georgia Saturday, dismissing rival Gov. Brian Kemp’s (R) claim that the Peach State is the best place to live and do business in the United States.

“I am tired of hearing about how we’re the best state in the country to do business when we are the worst state in the country to live,” Abrams said in a speech at the Gwinnett Democrats’ Bluetopia Gala in Norcross, Georgia. . .

Abrams ran a failed 2018 gubernatorial campaign against Kemp and has since refused to concede, stoking conspiracy theories of a stolen election. This time around, Kemp is also facing another Republican in Tuesday’s primary election — Sen. David Perdue (R), who has been endorsed by former President Donald Trump. Trump Responds to Reports He Wanted to Shoot Missiles at Drug Cartel Factories

During a recent interview with “60 Minutes,” former Defense Secretary Mark Esper claimed President Donald Trump proposed the United States take out drug cartel operations in Mexico with missiles.

Over the weekend, President Trump responded to the allegation with “no comment” and addressed a number of other statements Esper made.

Mexican cartels operate industrial-sized methamphetamine and fentanyl labs south of the border and the product is then trafficked into the United States.

“Soldiers and police in Mexico seized an industrial-scale meth and fentanyl lab that was so big it startled investigators, federal prosecutors announced Sunday,” the Associated Press reported in October. “The lab had chemical preparation vats about two stories tall that could process 11,000 pounds (5,000 kilograms) of raw material at a time, said Felipe de Jesus Gallo of the federal Attorney General’s Office.” (Read more from “Trump Responds to Reports He Wanted to Shoot Missiles at Drug Cartel Factories” HERE)

God ‘Does Not Disown’ LGBTQ People, Pope Francis Says

Pope Francis said “God is Father and he does not disown any of his children,” telling an inquiring American Jesuit priest it is the most important thing for LGBTQ people to know about God.

The pope made his statements in what the Rev. James Martin, SJ, called “a mini-interview” that he initiated May 5.

Father Martin, whose ministry to gay Catholics has sparked controversy, had asked Francis whether the pontiff would answer “a few of the most common questions” those Catholics and their families ask him.

In his written response, Francis said “‘the style’ of God is ‘closeness, mercy and tenderness.’”

Parents: Public School Carried Out Secret Gender Transitions on Children

Parents in Massachusetts are suing their kids’ school alleging that teachers and staff encouraged students to change their pronouns and names without parents’ knowledge or consent.

According to the lawsuit, parents claim that Ludlow Public Schools had a “protocol and practice of concealing from parents information related to their children’s gender identity” in middle school.

“[Efforts] to affirm a discordant student gender identity at school violates parents’ fundamental rights under the United States and Massachusetts constitutions and violates children’s reciprocal rights to the care and custody of their parents, familial privacy, and integrity,” the lawsuit reads. Russia’s tanks in Ukraine have a ‘jack-in-the-box’ design flaw. And the West has known about it since the Gulf war

Russian tanks with their tops blown off are just the latest sign that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine isn’t going to plan.

Hundreds of Russian tanks are thought to have been destroyed since Moscow launched its offensive, with British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace on Monday estimating it had lost as many as 580.

But Moscow’s problems go beyond the sheer number of tanks it has lost. Experts say battlefield images show Russian tanks are suffering from a defect that Western militaries have known about for decades and refer to as the “jack-in-the-box effect.” Moscow, they say, should have seen the problem coming.

The problem relates to how the tanks’ ammunition is stored. Unlike modern Western tanks, Russian ones carry multiple shells within their turrets. This makes them highly vulnerable as even an indirect hit can start a chain reaction that explodes their entire ammunition store of up to 40 shells.

The resulting shockwave can be enough to blast the tank’s turret as high as a two-story building, as can be seen in a recent video on social media. (Read more about Russia’s problem with its tanks in Ukraine HERE)
