Hunter Biden Refuses to Apologize After Melania Trump’s Billion-Dollar Lawsuit Threat

Hunter Biden is refusing to back down after first lady Melania Trump threatened him with a billion-dollar lawsuit over his comments linking her to deceased financier and convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Appearing Thursday on Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan, Biden made clear he had no intention of retracting or apologizing for statements he previously made suggesting Epstein “introduced” Melania to Donald Trump.

“An apology from me is not going to happen,” Biden said bluntly on the program. “F*ck that.”

The first lady’s attorney, Alejandro Brito, sent Biden a letter on August 6 warning of legal action “for over $1 billion in damages” if the remarks were not deleted and a formal apology issued. Fox News reported that Biden was given the option of withdrawing his claims, but instead he doubled down.

Biden argued that his statements were based on reporting from journalists and authors, including Michael Wolff. He dismissed the letter from Trump’s legal team as “a distraction” from the children Epstein abused.

“I also think they’re bullies,” Biden said. “And they think that a billion dollars is going to scare me … If they want to sit down for a deposition and clarify the nature of the relationship between Jeffrey Epstein, if the president and the first lady want to do that, and all of the known associates around them at the time … I’m more than happy to provide them the platform.”

Biden’s combative response stands in sharp contrast to others who have received similar legal warnings from the first lady’s attorney. Democratic strategist James Carville said on an August 7 episode of his Politics War Room podcast that he had deleted a video referencing alleged Epstein ties after receiving a letter from Brito, in addition to issuing a retraction and apology.

The Daily Beast likewise issued a retraction and correction on July 30, walking back a story that had claimed the first lady was “very involved” with Epstein. An editor’s note cited Brito’s letter challenging the article’s headline and framing.

For now, Biden has made it clear he has no plans to follow suit.

President Donald Trump departed Washington, D.C., on Friday morning, heading to Anchorage, Alaska, for a high-stakes meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin aimed at ending the war in Ukraine. The talks are expected to address territorial disputes, sanctions, and the broader path toward a peace agreement involving both Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Air Force One took off just after 8 a.m. ET, with Trump speaking briefly to reporters onboard. He emphasized that while his focus is on American interests, the mission is about preventing further bloodshed in Eastern Europe.

“Economically severe. Yes, it will be very severe. I’m not doing this for my health, okay,” Trump said. “I don’t need it. I’d like to focus on our country, but I’m doing this to save a lot of lives. Yeah, very severe.”

According to Trump, Russia will face significant economic repercussions if a deal is not reached. He also acknowledged that land swaps could form part of the negotiations but stressed that such decisions ultimately belong to Ukraine.

“[Territorial swaps will] be discussed, but I’ve got to let Ukraine make that decision, and I think they’ll make a proper decision,” he noted. “But I’m not here to negotiate for Ukraine. I’m here to get them at a table.”

While no concrete schedule for the Alaska talks has been released, the meeting’s location—halfway between Moscow and Washington—has been described as a symbolic midpoint for a potentially groundbreaking dialogue.

Trump reiterated his belief that Putin’s ambitions had been curtailed during his presidency.

“Look, Vladimir Putin wanted to take all of Ukraine. If I wasn’t president, he would, right now, be taking all of Ukraine, but he’s not going to do it,” Trump said.

Man Charged With Felony Assault for Throwing Subway Sandwich at Federal Agent

A Washington, D.C., man has been charged with felony assault after allegedly striking a federal officer with a Subway sandwich during an incident earlier this week.

Prosecutors say 37-year-old Sean Charles Dunn threw the sandwich at a U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent who was among federal officers deployed by President Trump to the streets of D.C. The attack reportedly occurred Sunday night, when Dunn was heard shouting that the officers were “fascists” before hurling the sandwich, hitting the agent in the chest.

According to a criminal complaint, Dunn later admitted to police, “I did it. I threw a sandwich.” Video footage of the encounter was cited in the case.

U.S. Attorney for D.C. Jeanine Pirro announced the charges Wednesday, stating, “The police are not out there to get pushed around or beat up.”

President Trump began deploying federal personnel to address crime in D.C. on August 7, asserting federal control over the Metropolitan Police Department and activating the National Guard. According to the White House, hundreds of additional officers have made more than 100 arrests since their arrival, including suspects accused of gun crimes, drug offenses, and outstanding warrants.

Two Chinese ships collided with each other in the South China Sea on Monday while trying to harass the Philippines’ coast guard, video shows.

In a high-speed chase, the China Coast Guard (CCG) vessel 3104 was pursuing the Philippine patrol ship BRP Suluan approximately 10.5 nautical miles east of the contentious Scarborough Shoal, deploying water its water cannon at one point, according to Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Spokesperson Jay Tarriela. As the CCG vessel approached the boat, it collided with a larger Chinese Navy destroyer that attempted to intervene by positioning itself between the Philippine ship and the coast guard cutter.

“The CCG 3104 … performed a risky maneuver from the PCG vessel’s starboard quarter, leading to the impact with the PLA Navy warship. This resulted in substantial damage to the CCG vessel’s forecastle, rendering it unseaworthy,” the spokesman wrote.

Footage captured from aboard the Suluan documents the significant hull damage sustained by both Chinese vessels following the collision.

“You can’t convince me that name was an accident,” Pat Gray reacted in disbelief. “That’s insane.”

Landman insists that the name reflects the program’s dark intent and adds to the growing body of evidence that global elites are manipulating the weather and atmosphere under the guise of science and sustainability.

A heartbreaking video shows the final moments of a Wisconsin teen’s life that was allegedly taken by an illegal immigrant drunk driver as his family gave their final goodbye before his organs were donated.

Tearful family and friends surrounded the lifeless body of 19-year-old Brady Heiling as doctors wheeled him on a stretcher through a hospital hallway, according to a video posted by his mother, Jen Heiling. Draped across the front of the gurney was a sign that read “DONATE LIFE,” a nod to his organ donation.

“Brady Allen Heiling you are soooooo LOVED!…” his mother wrote in the emotional post.

Loved ones bid the teen, who was hooked up to a breathing machine, farewell as they leaned onto his chest and cried out.

Heiling, along with his “love” Hallie Helgeson, 18, tragically died after an illegal immigrant drunk driver hit them while driving the wrong way on an interstate outside Madison, officials said.

Honduran national Noelia Saray Martinez-Avila, 30, was drunk and driving her SUV the wrong direction on a highway outside Madison when she allegedly struck a vehicle and killed the two teens on July 20, according to police. Jeffry Epstein’s rumored ‘client list’ will never be released to the public by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), according to a former agent.

John Kiriakou, an ex-CIA officer who was jailed in 2012 for leaking the agency’s waterboarding interrogation techniques used at Guantanamo Bay, shared his views on the controversial pedophile – including his opinion on the alleged list of clients.

Kiriakou, who sat down for an episode of Patrick Bet-David’s podcast, told the media personality that he believes the alleged list will not see the light of day because it holds incredibly valuable intelligence information that the CIA would never hand over simply because the public demanded to see it.

The CIA whistleblower, who works for Sputnik- a Russian government news outlet – specifically said he believes that Epstein, 66, was employed by Israel’s intelligence service, Mossad – and that is why the list will not come out.

‘I believe that he was a Mossad access agent. It makes perfect sense to me,’ Kiriakou said. It has never been established that Epstein had ties to Mossad.

‘Jeffrey Epstein, in my view, is a textbook case of an access agent. I’ve said this before, but I think it’s important and it bears repeating,’ he told Bet-David.
