WATCH: Creepy Dr. Fauci Endorses ‘Hookups’ During Lockdown

Government coronavirus expert Dr. Anthony Fauci says that heartsick isolationists can hook up with asymptomatic Tinder matches in real life — but, like love, it involves some risk.

The 79-year-old immunologist dropped the unorthodox dating tip in a Tuesday interview on Snapchat’s “Good Luck America.”

Toward the end of the taped segment, Fauci was asked: “If you’re swiping on a dating app like Tinder, or Bumble or Grindr, and you match with someone that you think is hot, and you’re just kind of like, ‘Maybe it’s fine if this one stranger comes over.’ What do you say to that person?”

“You know, that’s tough,” replied the befuddled National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director to the curveball. “Because that’s what’s called relative risk.”

Then he dropped the bombshell. “If you’re willing to take a risk — and you know, everybody has their own tolerance for risks — you could figure out if you want to meet somebody,” said Fauci, who was named a candidate for People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” award.

MUST-SEE FOOTAGE: Protests Against Stay-At-Home Orders Erupt Across the Country From California to New Jersey; President Trump Defends Protests: Lockdown Protesters ‘Great People’ Who ‘Want Their Jobs Back’

By The Blaze. Protesters from all over the country assembled over the last few days to voice their displeasure to stay-at-home orders as economic conditions deteriorate. Despite decrees from their governors to stay at home, Americans organized protests demanding an end to the coronavirus lockdown. . .

An estimated 500 people gathered in downtown San Clemente on Sunday to publicly object to California’s state-mandated stay-at-home order. This is the same place where the city government dumped 37 tons of sand into a skate park in order to prevent kids from skating.

Hundreds of people gathered in downtown Denver near the Capitol building on Sunday to protest Colorado’s stay-home order. The act of defiance was dubbed as “Operation Gridlock.” . . .

At a demonstration outside of Kentucky’s capital of Frankfort on Friday, protestors shouted, “We want to work!” The protestors demanded for Gov. Andy Beshear (D) to “open up Kentucky.” . . .

A New Jersey woman who organized an anti-lockdown protest in Newark on Friday was charged with violating Gov. Phil Murphy’s (D) stay-at-home orders.

Trump Defends Protesters: Lockdown Protesters ‘Great People’ Who ‘Want Their Jobs Back’

By Breitbart. President Donald Trump on Sunday continued to defend protesters of overbearing state lockdowns during the coronavirus pandemic.

“These are great people … They’ve got cabin fever they want to get back. They want their life back; their life was taken away from them,” Trump said. . .

“I’ve seen American flags all over the place. I’ve never seen so many American flags at a rally than I’ve seen at those rallies,” Trump said. “These people love our country. They want to get back to work.” (Read more from “Trump Defends Protests: Lockdown Protesters ‘Great People’ Who ‘Want Their Jobs Back’” HERE)

WATCH: Trump Tweets Satirical Video Slamming Obama for Endorsing Biden; Views Quickly Surpass Obama’s Endorsement Itself

President Trump on Monday tweeted a satirical video that shows former President Barack Obama – or rather, his head doctored onto someone else’s body – shrugging off awkward comments by presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden before cutting to a Trump-Pence 2020 campaign logo.

The video – which was not produced by the campaign – parodies an Allstate commercial showing the insurance company’s spokesman Dennis Haysbert watching a basketball game with his friends before a commercial of Haysbert advertising Allstate appears on the screen. In the original ad, Haysbert’s friends implore him to change the channel, which he does, only to find another Allstate ad starring himself.

In the video Trump tweeted, Obama’s head is obviously superimposed over Haysbert’s, and instead of an Allstate commercial, a fake Biden ad appears on the TV when the basketball game goes to commercial.

“The kids used to come up and reach in the pool and rub my leg down so it was straight and then watch the hair come back up again,” Biden says in the fake ad. “I learned about kids jumping on my lap, and I loved kids jumping on my lap.”

The ad might be fake, but it uses a real quote by the former vice president from June 2017 in which he was describing his time as a lifeguard at a Delaware pool when he was younger. The Biden comments were not nefarious and were not the main subject of the speech he was giving, but have been seized on by his opponents previously to illustrate the candidate’s gaffe-prone nature. Trump’s Satirical Video Outpaces Obama’s Within Hours

By Joseph A. Wulfsohn. It appears President Trump had the last laugh as his satirical video mocking President Obama’s recent endorsement of former Vice President Joe Biden has garnered more views within hours than Obama’s 12-minute address did in the last week.

Obama endorsed his former running mate after all of Biden’s primary rivals withdrew from the presidential race. The widely publicized endorsement received 10.2 million views since last Tuesday.

However, the video Trump shared surpassed Obama’s video, earning 10.3 million views within roughly 13 hours despite the former president’s remarks still having more likes and retweets.

The video – which was not produced by the campaign – parodies an Allstate commercial with the insurance company’s spokesman Dennis Haysbert watching a basketball game with his friends before a commercial of Haysbert advertising Allstate appears on the screen. In the original ad, Haysbert’s friends implore him to change the channel, which he does, only to find another Allstate ad starring himself. (Read more about the satirical video HERE)

Stanford Study Shows COVID-19 Infection Rates May Be “50 to 85 Times” Higher Than Official Numbers (VIDEO)

By The Mercury News. In a startling finding, new Stanford research reveals between 48,000 and 81,000 people in Santa Clara County alone may already have been infected by the coronavirus by early April — that’s 50 to 85 times more than the number of official cases at that date.

The estimate comes from a first-in-the-nation community study of newly available antibody tests that suggest how widespread the invisible — and perhaps benign — companion has been in the Bay Area’s hardest-hit county. Not only do the numbers show how the U.S.’s severe shortage of testing led to a profound undercount of COVID-19 cases, they indicate the virus is far less deadly than believed.

Just how much of an undercount? Stanford’s low-end estimate of Santa Clara County cases is nearly double the confirmed total — 28,000 — for the entire state of California. The study estimated 2.5% to 4.2% of residents here carry antibodies to the pathogen, a marker of past infection that suggests it may be safe for them to go back to work and school. . .

Santa Clara County, home to Stanford University and 1.9 million residents, was one of the first hot spots for the coronavirus in the country. As of Friday, it officially had recorded 1,833 cases and 69 deaths related to coronavirus.

The new Stanford study comes at a time when health experts and elected officials look to immunity as one way to blunt the impact of the pandemic. It is not yet known if antibodies prevent future infection. If so, antibody protection could offer people a safe route out of strict “sheltering.” (Read more from “Stanford Study Shows COVID-19 Infection Rates May Be “50 to 85 Times” Higher Than Official Numbers” HERE)

Study Suggests Coronavirus Is More Widespread Than Realized

By Spectator USA. [I]t is one more piece in a jigsaw which is slowly building up a picture of a virus which may be far more prevalent — and possibly far less deadly — than was at first believed. As has been argued here before, knowing the general level of infection in the population is absolutely crucial because this informs both the virulence and the mortality rate of the infection. If only a small percentage of the population have had the virus, then it might be worth continuing with lockdown policies. But if SARS-Cov-2 is already endemic in the population there is nothing we can do to stop it but no great reason to try to stop it, either: it has already ripped its way through the population with only a small proportion showing any symptoms.

Last week, I reported a similar study from the town of Gangelt in north-western Germany where 15 percent of the population were found to have antibodies to SARS-CoV-2. Were that to be reflected in the wider population, it would still mean we were a long way short of the 60 percent infection rate which scientific advisers originally considered necessary for ‘herd immunity’ of the population. But it would mean we were well on the way.

That scientists in Germany and California have been able to perform antibody tests on good-sized samples of the population yet again raises the question: why have we still not performed such studies elsewhere? (Read more from “Study Suggests Coronavirus Is More Widespread Than Realized” HERE)

‘Nervous Nancy’ Deleted Video of Herself in Chinatown Downplaying Coronavirus (VIDEO)

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has reportedly deleted a Twitter video from late February that showed her downplaying the coronavirus pandemic, forcing others to share their own copies of the same video so as to ensure her habitual foolishness isn’t soon forgotten.

While it’s not clear when exactly she deleted the video, 2020 Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale brought it to the public’s attention in a tweet posted early Wednesday evening.

He wrote: “It seems Nervous Nancy Pelosi has deleted the video of herself in Chinatown on February 24 saying that fears of the coronavirus were ‘unwarranted in light of the precautions that are being taken here in the United States.’ She doesn’t want Americans to see what she said then!”

As word of the deletion spread, critics from across the country made a beeline for Twitter to share their own copies of the telling video footage.

WATCH: President Trump Threatens to Adjourn Congress

By The Blaze. President Donald Trump stunned journalists at the coronavirus task force briefing on Wednesday when he threatened to adjourn the sessions of Congress.

The president was angrily denouncing Democrats for stalling on his judicial appointments when he said that he could force Congress out of session and appoint judges during the congressional recess.

“The Senate should either fulfill its duty and vote on my nominees or it should formally adjourn so I can make recess appointments,” the president said.

“We have a tremendous number of people that have to come into government. And now more so than ever before because of the virus and the problem,” he added.

Congress has been conducting pro forma actions in order to prevent recess appointments by the president. Trump decried these actions as a “scam.”

Fauci: Coronavirus Briefings Are ‘Really Draining’

By NBC News. . .At the same time Fauci is directing critical government research, he’s also one of the administration’s leading spokespeople on the virus, spending hours each week by Trump’s side during his lengthy, daily White House briefings.

Fauci said his public role is important but conceded that the duration of those briefings — Monday’s ran for nearly two-and-a-half hours — was “really draining” and that doesn’t even count preparation and waiting for it to start.

“If I had been able to just make a few comments and then go to work, that would have really been much better,” he said. “It isn’t the idea of being there and answering questions, which I really think is important for the American public. It’s the amount of time.” (Read more from “Fauci: Coronavirus Briefings Are ‘Really Draining'” HERE)

WATCH: Doctors Arrested for Ripping Down Senior Citizen’s Trump Flag, and It’s All Caught on Video

A Florida couple was arrested for ripping down a senior citizen’s pro-Trump flag from his property in Gulf Breeze, Florida, and records indicate they both work as doctors.

The ill-fated political vandalism was caught on 67-year-old David Brannen’s surveillance camera and was widely circulated on social media.

Police say the man and the woman drove up to the property in a golf cart with their children on April 7.

The surveillance video shows a man and a woman grabbing a ladder to reach the flag while a child implores them to stop. The child cries, saying that they were afraid the parents would go to jail.

Police later booked 41-year-old Geoffrey Michael Fraiche and his 38-year-old wife Laura Webb-Fraiche for the vandalism.

SERIOUS PUSHBACK: Thousands Protest Dem Governor’s Stay-Home Order While Maintaining Social Distancing (VIDEO); Protest Organizer Says Gov’s Orders Have Put State ‘Under Tyranny’

By WND. While maintaining social distancing, thousands of Michigan residents gathered at their state capitol to protest stay-at-home orders by Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer that are among the nation’s most restrictive.

The stringent orders include barring people from traveling from house and house, even to vacation homes; shutting down certain sections of big-box stores; and banning some types of boats but not others. . .

Among the messages on signs were “Liberty once lost is lost forever,” “Security without liberty is called prison” and “Recall Whitmer.”

Lt. Darren Green of the Michigan State Police told the paper the protesters were “doing a pretty good job of maintaining social distance.”

Michigan Protest Organizer Blasts Whitmer, Says Gov’s Orders Have Put State ‘Under Tyranny’

By Fox News. he organizer of Wednesday’s massive protest against Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s coronavirus-induced restrictions told “Your World” Wednesday that the governor’s executive orders have been unduly onerous and tyrannical.

Operation Gridlock organizer Meshawn Maddock of the Michigan Conservative Coalition told host Neil Cavuto that about 10,000 vehicles converged on Lansing.

“Almost all of the people got into their cars with the people that they have been sheltering with, packed a snack, drove to Lansing to show their protest,” she said. “The most fun that they had was in the last 48 hours making signs.

“I have to admit, it felt a little fun for a few minutes, because it has been so depressing,” Maddock added. “Michigan has been just under tyranny. We had to lay off seven employees of our own.

“When you look into these cars … you see a bookstore. You see a coffee shop owner, a small insurance agency owner, a paint store owner, landscapers, bricklayers, I could go on and on,” Maddock continued. “These are real people with real families and bills to pay. They have mortgages to pay.” (Read more from “Michigan Protest Organizer Blasts Whitmer, Says Gov’s Orders Have Put State ‘Under Tyranny'” HERE)

AG Barr Just Signaled That Things Are About to Get Ugly for the Russia Collusion Team; Nunes Says There May Be More Criminal Referrals; It Looks Like Putin Conned the FBI Into the ‘Russiagate’ Probe

By The Hill. “Travesty” is not a nice word. It usually is applied to gross perversions of justice, and that apparently is the context Attorney General William Barr desired when he dropped it into an interview answer the other day in the breezy courtyard of the Department of Justice (DOJ).

His composed, understated delivery almost disguised the weighty magnitude of that disturbing word and the loaded adjective that preceded it. “I think what happened to him,” he said, referring to the president and the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into his campaign, “was one of the greatest travesties in American history.”

Okay, it’s important to pause for a moment and absorb what the AG said. He just called an FBI investigation not just a travesty but one of the “greatest” travesties in the nation’s history. It was an unprecedented statement by an attorney general about his own department’s premier agency. . .

Is the AG’s assessment fair? The answer is entwined in his next statement: “Without any basis [the FBI] started this investigation into [Donald Trump’s] campaign … .”

Oops, stop again right there. Mr. Barr is making a definitive statement about that which many of us have speculated all along, namely that the weirdly unprecedented investigative team put together by former FBI Director James Comey and Deputy Director Andrew McCabe did not have adequate legal reasons to open a case into the Trump campaign in the first place. The attorney general just confirmed that. (Read more from “AG Barr Just Signaled That Things Are About to Get Ugly for the Russia Collusion Team” HERE)

Devin Nunes Says There May Be More Criminal Referrals Following Declassified Footnotes

By PJ Media. After Friday’s revelation that the FBI used Russian government disinformation to get secret warrants to spy on the Trump campaign, Congressman Devin Nunes says you can expect more criminal referrals against those who plotted to take down Trump.

The information that many thought likely is now confirmed in black and white in the declassified footnotes of the Inspector General’s report on the FISA court abuses.

On Fox and Friends on Saturday morning, the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee said the revelations reported on Friday before the holiday weekend mean that he’ll be calling for more criminal referrals.

“People should go and look at the footnotes that are now public, ok? Because likely we’re going to have more criminals referrals based on these.

We know the Democrats were spreading disinformation, Russian disinformation, which we were saying the whole time. It never made sense he would have a political operative – the Clinton campaign working with Fusion GPS, hiring a former foreign spy – that they know is supposedly getting information from a Russian intel folks.

It Looks Like Putin Conned the FBI Into the ‘Russiagate’ Probe

By New York Post. It is becoming increasingly clear that the Russia investigation launched and conducted by James Comey’s Federal Bureau of Investigation deserves to rank as one of the agency’s great blunders — at best.

President Trump famously calls the probe a hoax, a label he uses liberally, but in this instance, it may literally be true.

We’ve spent years obsessing about Russian meddling in our politics, and now it turns out that the original FBI investigation into the Trump campaign that morphed into the Mueller probe may have been instigated, in part, by Russian disinformation.

In other words, the Kremlin may have succeeded in getting us to turn even more viciously against ourselves and conduct our politics in an atmosphere characterized by screaming headlines, dark insinuations and endless investigations — all by feeding a few lies to a private eye hired by the Hillary Clinton campaign to dig up dirt on Trump. WATCH: Did Coronavirus REALLY Come From Bat Soup? Scientists in China Release Study Linking Origins to Wuhan Lab

By The Blaze. During his latest Wednesday night special, Glenn Beck explained why a study released by two Chinese scientists indicates that it’s far more likely the coronavirus originated from the Wuhan Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and not from bat soup as the Chinese Communist Party has been telling their own citizens — and the rest of the world.

Wuhan Is Open and Infections Are Down, but China’s Coronavirus Numbers Can’t Be Trusted

By Yahoo News. China this week officially reopened Wuhan, the city where the coronavirus pandemic was first detected, claiming that new infections were in the single digits. Some have hailed the seeming success of China’s draconian lockdown as a model for other countries.

In recent days, however, everyone from the CIA to Chinese investigative journalists has accused Beijing of reporting inaccurate counts of COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations and deaths, pointing to patterns in other countries, to frequent unexplained changes in China’s accounting, and even to pallets of urns being delivered to funeral homes in Wuhan.

These concerns are not new, but neither are they an indication of some nefarious plot. Rather, they evince a degree and type of weakness that may surprise some critics abroad, who think the Chinese government effectively controls all aspects of life in the country with an iron fist. In fact, underreporting of bad news is not a simple product of autocratic leaders’ cruel strategy, but an artifact of China’s idiosyncratic authoritarianism that goes back decades, though it has resurfaced acutely over the past 15 years.
