WATCH: Protesters in at Least 10 States DEMAND End to Coronavirus Lockdown

By The Hill. Demonstrators in at least 10 states across the country gathered on Friday to protest against stay-at-home orders and other emergency measures meant to blunt the coronavirus’s spread.

The protests underscored how antsy some are getting to return to a sense of normalcy after the coronavirus, which has infected nearly 1.1 million people in America, shuttered businesses across an array of industries and pushed more than 30 million Americans into unemployment.

Though some demonstrations were lightly attended, demonstrations occurred in state capitols and cities in California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Tennessee and Washington.

Coronavirus: More than 30 people arrested at protests at California capitol

By KIRO 7. Authorities arrested 32 protesters who defied California’s stay-at-home order and instead rallied on the capitol steps to reopen the state.

There were more than 1,000 people at the “Re-Open California” rally calling on Gov. Gavin Newsom to lift the state’s stay-at-home mandate, KCRA reported.

Organizers had planned for supporters to obey social distance measures and stay in their cars while circling the capitol, however video showed protestors holding signs while gathered on the grounds, KCRA reported. WATCH: Protesters Storm California Beach Town Over Stay-At-Home Orders

A large crowd of people showed up at a protest in Huntington Beach, California, on Friday to complain against Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom and to demand the state’s stay-at-home rules be lifted.

The crowd of more than 500 gathered at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Main Street in downtown Huntington Beach, with people carrying signs saying “All jobs are essential,” “Freedom: We the people,” and “Recall Gavin Newsom,’” according to the Los Angeles Times.

Few people in the crowd were wearing face coverings, and almost no one followed the social distancing guidelines implemented by the government. Police officers on horseback oversaw the protest while other officers did their best to keep traffic moving along the coastal highway. . .

Newsom ordered beaches to close following large crowds congregating along the coast the previous weekend, most notably in neighboring Newport Beach, California.

“We can’t see images like we saw, particularly on Saturday, in Newport Beach and elsewhere,” Newsom said, adding that so many people on the beach was “disturbing.”

WATCH: Trump Campaign Unleashes New Ad Ripping Biden Over Sexual Misconduct Allegations

President Trump’s reelection campaign isn’t shying away from hitting Joe Biden over his handling of allegations that he sexually assaulted and harassed a former Senate aide in 1993.

The incumbent’s campaign team, in particular, seized on accusations of hypocrisy over how the presumptive 2020 Democratic presidential nominee and other prominent members of the party supported the women who made sexual misconduct claims against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and their reaction to Biden’s accuser, Tara Reade.

“The double standard exhibited by Biden, prominent liberal women’s groups, and Democrat elected officials — some of whom want to be Biden’s running mate — is glaring and cannot be allowed to stand,” Trump campaign spokeswoman Erin Perrine wrote in a statement.

Perrine added, “There will be a great temptation among Biden’s supporters to take his lackluster interview performance and declare ‘case closed’ and move on. We do not know what, if anything, was done to Tara Reade, but there cannot be one set of rules for Joe Biden and another set for everyone else.” . . .

The Trump campaign’s offensive is in reaction to Biden, 77, addressing Reade’s allegations directly and publicly for the first time Friday morning. In an interview with MSNBC, he reiterated remarks shared just before his appearance, vehemently denying the 56-year-old’s claims that he forcibly kissed her and penetrated her with his fingers, as well as inappropriately touched her hair and neck. WATCH: Armed Protest Breaks out Against Michigan’s Ridiculous Emergency Measures

By NBC News. Hundreds of people protested outside the Michigan Capitol building in Lansing on Thursday, with some pushing inside while the Legislature was debating an extension of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s state of emergency in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Protesters held signs, waved American flags and even carried firearms, while some chanted “Let us in!” and “This is the people’s house, you cannot lock us out.” Others tried to get onto the House floor but were blocked by state police and sergeants-at-arms, according to NBC affiliate WDIV of Detroit. . .

Michigan United for Liberty organized the protest, dubbed the American Patriot Rally, to call for the reopening of businesses.

State lawmakers, who are Republican-led in both chambers, on Thursday night declined to extend the state’s emergency declaration before it expired at midnight. Instead, they voted to bring a lawsuit to challenge Whitmer’s authority and actions to fight the coronavirus pandemic.

The Democratic governor quickly issued new orders stating that an emergency still exists, while also declaring new 28-day states of emergency and disaster. (Read more from “Armed Protest Breaks out Against Michigan’s Ridiculous Emergency Measures” HERE)

Michigan Protesters Storm State Capitol in Fight Over Coronavirus Rules

By Fox News. Dozens of protesters, some of whom were armed, gathered Thursday inside Michigan’s Capitol building to voice their opposition to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s stay-at-home order, with tensions high as lawmakers were poised to debate an extension of an emergency and disaster declaration.

Holding American flags and handmade signs, the demonstrators in Lansing first congregated shoulder-to-shoulder outside before demanding to be let inside the building. Some chanted “Let us in,” The Detroit News reported.

Dennis Sigler, 66, of Mason, told the newspaper he attended the protest out of respect for others and not because he was worried about the COVID-19.

“I love freedom,” he said. “In America, we should be free. Don’t let them try to protect us from ourselves.”

State Sen. Dayna Polehanki, a Democrat, tweeted a photo of what she described as armed demonstrators yelling above her. She said some of her colleagues were wearing “bullet proof vests” inside the House chamber.

Pelosi’s Defense of Biden Against Sex Assault Claims Is as Bad as ‘Boys Will Be Boys’ (VIDEO)

. . .Take the latest word salad from Nancy Pelosi, who was asked by a reporter Thursday to compare and contrast the allegations of sexual abuse against Joe Biden to those against then Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

After Pelosi lectured the reporter about being “lectured to,” she launched into a chopped word salad of blurble bits each dumber than the one before.

“I have complete respect for the whole #MeToo movement, I have four daughters …there’s also due process…Joe Biden is Joe Biden…There was never any record of this. There was never any record. Uh And that nobody ever came forward or came forward to say something about it uh apart from the principal involved. I am so proud, the happiest day for me this week was to support Joe Biden for president of the United States. He’s a person of great integrity.”

“Joe Biden is Joe Biden.”

WATCH: California Police Go After Elderly Couple for Simply Sitting in Chairs; North Carolina Police Arrest Man for Attempting to Reopen His Business, Others May Follow Suit

By Western Journalism. Every now and then, a viral video comes along that isn’t so much about what is happening during the moment captured as it is about what is going on in the world at large.

Such is the case with recent footage of an incident in which a police officer reportedly told a 93-year-old couple they were not allowed to sit on folding chairs on a beach in Oxnard, California.

The clip says more about the government’s overreach during the coronavirus pandemic than it does about what happened to the couple. . .

According to report, the problem arose because setting up a folding chair in the sand created a “a permanent place as opposed to the temporary nature of sitting on the sand itself.”

WATCH: Joe Biden Falls Asleep During Town Hall With Hillary Clinton

Conservative Twitter feeds and websites exploded with mirth Tuesday when Joe Biden appeared to fall asleep during a virtual town hall meeting with Hillary Clinton.

The livestreamed event was designed to highlight Mrs. Clinton’s endorsement of Mr. Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.

During the event, Mr. Biden frequently cast his gaze down as if consulting notes.

But at one point, Mr. Biden closed his eyes, put his head down, and remained motionless for some 15 seconds or more, video of the event shows.

Eventually, the 77-year-old candidate appeared to be startled awake, and he jerked his head up, eyes blinking.

Rancher: U.S. Importing Beef While Prepping to Possibly Discard American Herds (VIDEO); Farmers Are Destroying Their Own Crops After the Coronavirus Ravaged the Food Market — and Say USDA Failed to Help Them Get It to Hungry Americans in Time

By Breitbart. A rancher who raises cattle in Texas and Colorado sounded the alarm that the U.S. government is importing what he considered inferior beef from Namibia while American ranchers are facing the possible “depopulation” of their herds.

“Yesterday (April 26), the first shipment of imported beef from the country of Namibia hit the shores of the United States of America,” Rancher Shad Sullivan said in a video posted on Twitter. “And yet, this morning, they (U.S. Department of Agriculture) are telling us to prepare to euthanize harvest-ready cattle.”

“Am I the only one that sees a problem with this?” Sullivan asked. “It is time we get the American people back to work. It is time we get money flowing. It is time we get food on the shelves.”

Breitbart Texas contacted Sullivan about what prompted his impassioned video.

“On Sunday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture promised to help cattle producers find alternative markets for livestock producers after several meatpacking plants shut down over Coronavirus concerns. They followed that saying that if alternative markets cannot be found, they would ‘advise and assist on depopulation and disposal methods.’” (Read more from “Rancher: U.S. Importing Beef While Prepping to Possibly Discard American Herds” HERE)

Farmers Are Destroying Their Own Crops After the Coronavirus Ravaged the Food Market — and Say USDA Failed to Help Them Get It to Hungry Americans in Time

By Business Insider. Millions of pounds of food is being wasted on US farms after demand collapsed because of the coronavirus pandemic, according to multiple reports.

Farmers are pouring thousands of gallons of milk down the drain, and crushing ripe fruit and vegetables back into the soil with heavy machinery because they have no way to put it on the market for a profit.

The waste is due to a collapse in parts of the service industry forced to close because of the virus. It means buyers like restaurants, hotels, schools, and sports venues no longer need ingredients, which has in turn caused demand to plummet in some cases to half its regular levels, according to The Guardian.

The federal government launched a program to redistribute this food, setting aside $3 billion for the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) to buy it up and send it to struggling Americans.

However, industry leaders and lawmakers have complained that USDA failed to launch the program quick enough, leaving producers with no choice but to waste huge quantities of food, Politico reported. Muslim Call to Prayer Will Be Blasted Over This Major U.S. City During Ramadan (VIDEO)

The Muslim call to prayer will blast over loudspeakers in a Minneapolis neighborhood five times per day during the month of Ramadan.

According to Al Jazeera, the prayer call will be broadcasted during Ramadan, Islam’s holy month, which runs from April 23 to May 23[:]

The simple, short call – known as the adhan – marked an historical moment for Minneapolis and major cities across the United States, community members said. While the adhan is commonly broadcast throughout the Middle East, North Africa and other places, for many Muslims in the US, it is only heard inside mosques or community centres.

“There’s definitely a lot of excitement,” said Imam Abdisalam Adam, who is on the board of the Dar al-Hijrah mosque, from where the adhan will be broadcast. “Some people see it as historic,” Adam told Al Jazeera. “To the point … that they’re not doing it, able to see it in their lifetime.”

WATCH: Pentagon Formally Releases Three UFO Videos

The Pentagon on Monday approved the release of three “unidentified aerial phenomena” videos taken over the years by U.S. Navy aviators. All three had been, shall we say, informally available on the internet, but now viewers can see them with the military’s stamp of approval. Defense Department spokesperson Sue Gough said, “After a thorough review, the department has determined that the authorized release of these unclassified videos does not reveal any sensitive capabilities or systems, and does not impinge on any subsequent investigations of military air space incursions by unidentified aerial phenomena.”

Gough explained, “DOD is releasing the videos in order to clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that has been circulating was real, or whether or not there is more to the videos.” . . .

The first video was captured in 2004 and leaked to the public in 2017. The New York Times reported that an F/A-18 piloted by Cmdr. David Fravor with Lt. Cmdr. Jim Slaight in the back seat was flying about 100 miles off the Pacific coast when they were hailed by the cruiser U.S.S. Princeton:

“Well, we’ve got a real-world vector for you,” the radio operator said, according to Commander Fravor. For two weeks, the operator said, the Princeton had been tracking mysterious aircraft. The objects appeared suddenly at 80,000 feet, and then hurtled toward the sea, eventually stopping at 20,000 feet and hovering. Then they either dropped out of radar range or shot straight back up.
