Trump: 2020 Democratic Candidates ‘Trying to Punish Religious Believers’ (VIDEO)

President Trump warned members of his evangelical base that every 2020 Democratic presidential candidate poses a threat to their religious liberty.

“Our faith is needed now more than ever,” Trump said during a Friday “Evangelicals for Trump” rally in Miami. “While certain fads come and go, it’s an eternal truth that faith and family lead to the stability, happiness, and prosperity of nations.”

“Yet as we speak,” Trump continued, “every Democrat candidate running for president is trying to punish religious believers and silence our churches and our pastors.” . . .

“Our opponents want to shut out God from the public square so that they can impose their extreme anti-religious and socialist agenda on America,” Trump continued. The New York Times reported that “many supporters outside [the rally] were Cuban émigrés who said their primary concern was what they saw as the threat of socialism. Most said they were lifelong Republicans who were more concerned than ever about the Democratic Party gaining more power, citing fears that they would face more government mandates.”

Appearing on Fox News’s “Special Report” with guest host Mike Emanuel, Pompeo said that the administration has no plans to evacuate the embassy in Baghdad and no plans to withdraw the troops that are in Iraq.

“The Trump administration’s taking a very different view,” Pompeo continued. “We put real pressure on the Islamic Republic of Iran. We will continue to do so and we saw the president say today we will continue to hold the Islamic Republic of Iran accountable wherever we find their malign activity, and we’ll make sure we have the resources to do so.” . . .

“We’ve imposed an incredible economic burden on the regime,” Pompeo said. “We’ve watched the Iranian people demand that their leaders behave differently. You’ve seen the protests. Unfortunately, Iranians responded by killing hundreds of their own citizens.”

Flashback: Biden Called Texas Governor ‘Irrational’ for Allowing Guns in Places of Worship

By Townhall. Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden criticized the Governor of Texas for signing a bill that allows law-abiding Texans to defend themselves with firearms in places of worship. On Sunday, an armed man stopped a gunman in Texas after the gunman opened fire during church services. . .

Joe Biden recently told reporters that it was “irrational” to allow law-abiding worshipers to defend themselves in church.

“With all due respect to the governor of Texas,” Biden began, “it is irrational what they’re doing. On the very day you see a mass shooting … and we’re talking about loosening access to have guns, to be able to take them into places of worship … I mean it’s just absolutely irrational. It’s totally irrational.”

Republican Congressman Posts Video for Holidays of Hillary Clinton Getting Hit by Light Fixture

Representative Paul Gosar marked Christmas Eve by sharing a clip of a light falling on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton from 27 years ago. . .

In 1992, when Bill Clinton was governor of Arkansas, Hillary joined him on 60 Minutes, her first interview on the show, to discuss his run for president and accusations he had an affair. About 40 minutes into the interview, a light bar that was set up for the interview crashed onto the back of the couch where Bill and Hillary were sitting.

As the Clintons jumped off the couch and away from the fallen light, Hillary exclaimed, “Jesus, Mary and Joseph.” Given the Biblical names she used and their importance at Christmas time, it’s possible that’s what Gosar meant by “remember the reason for the season.” . . .

People on social media didn’t take kindly to him sharing the clip, and some Twitter users said they reported it for promoting violence against the former secretary of state. Others, including Neera Tanden, the president of the Center for American Progress, claimed the representative’s behavior was one of the reasons his family made an ad encouraging voters to support his opponent.

Protester Yells at Biden During Campaign Event: ‘Don’t Touch Kids, You Pervert!’

A protester at a rally for Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden yelled at the former vice president on Sunday, telling him not to touch kids and calling him a “pervert.”

Biden and the protester, who is out of view in the video, go back and forth for several moments, with Biden saying, “Alright, I agree with you man, I agree, nice talking to you.”

The man shouted back at Biden, “Don’t touch kids, you pervert!”

ABC News reporter Molly Nagle tweeted about the incident, writing: “Wow—quite the start to @JoeBiden’s second event in NH. A man from the back of the room calls Biden a ‘pervert’ and accuses him of touching women and children, before a second man asks Biden where the money is he and his son ‘earned from Ukraine’ from the other side of the room.”

Biden has been called out for a long time over for inappropriately touching kids and women, including in a campaign ad from April 2019 from The Great America PAC.

Joe Biden Refuses to Comply With Potential Senate Impeachment Trial Subpoena (VIDEO)

Former Vice President Joe Biden told reporters again that he would not comply if the Senate issues a subpoena to testify in the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump.

Speaking to the Des Moines Register’s editorial board on Friday, the Democratic presidential front runner doubled down after being asked about a similar contention he made to NPR in early December.

“Do you stand by your earlier statements that you wouldn’t comply if you were subpoenaed to testify in an impeachment trial before the Senate,” a board member asked.

“Correct, and the reason I wouldn’t is because it’s all designed to deal with Trump doing what he’s done his whole life, trying to take the focus off him,” Biden said, calling any suggestions that he do so “a diversion” from Trump.

Congressman: Democrats Still Refusing to Release Transcripts From ‘Secret’ Depositions (VIDEO)

Texas Republican Representative Michael Burgess revealed during an interview on Friday that Democrats are still refusing to release transcripts of depositions that were conducted in secret by Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA).

Burgess made the remarks during an interview on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom” with co-host Molly Line, where he said Speaker of the House Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) goal with impeachment was to “politically harm the president at the beginning of a political year.” . . .

“Look, they had all the tools at their disposal up on the House side. They made it secret, not just behind locked doors, but with armed guards outside the doors,” Burgess responded. “They still haven’t made all of the transcripts available to members of Congress and, according to House rules, any committee hearing is supposed to be – the transcript is supposed to be available to other House members, but they have not done so, and no one has asserted that these are classified briefings; they were just simply secret hearings because it behooved the speaker to have secret hearings. That doesn’t pass muster. That’s not a constitutional part of the process.”

WATCH: Intruder Caught on Video Entering Home, Grabbing 11-Year-Old Girl Before Being Chased off by the Child’s Father

A terrifying home invasion attempt in Florida was caught on surveillance video the night of Christmas Eve, when a suspect grabbed an 11-year-old girl and followed her inside her house while attempting to quiet the child. . .

Ava Kloepfer, 11, stepped out on the back porch of her home on Tuesday, when she was startled by an intruder who can be seen on video grabbing the child by the arm, and pushing her back inside the house while he followed. Moments later, the suspect can be seen fleeing as Ava’s father, Derek Kloepfer, ran to confront the intruder.

Kloepfer told WOFL-TV the suspect had “a scared look in his eye and automatically turned around and ran.” He added, “If I would have grabbed him, I’m sure there would have been some consequences.”

Kloepfer called 911 and said police responded in roughly five minutes, and were able to apprehend the suspect about an hour later.

Authorities say Steven Hasugulgum, 21, is the man who grabbed Ava. After the attack, a woman who lived nearby called authorities saying a suspect matching Hasugulgum’s description tried to burglarize her home, and described the intruder as “acting erratic and holding a hammer.” (Read more from “Watch: Intruder Caught on Video Entering Home, Grabbing 11-Year-Old Girl Before Being Chased off by the Child’s Father” HERE)
