WATCH: Media Unleashes Criticism After Trump Brings Hero Dog to White House

The media went after President Donald Trump on Monday during Conan’s visit to the White House, attacking him for a litany of reasons, including making jokes to the press and not standing close enough to the dog.

Conan, who is credited with getting ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi to kill himself during a special forces raid last month, went to the White House on Monday to visit with Trump, first lady Melania Trump, and Vice President Mike Pence. While many people used the moment to celebrate the dog’s heroic actions, some members of the media fretted about Trump’s behavior during the event.

Some journalists and pundits seemed concerned, for example, that the president made a joke about the dog being in a good mood, suggesting that if he weren’t, he might go after the press.

Liar, Liar: Cellphone Caught Elizabeth Warren Lying About Where Her Children Attended School (VIDEO)

On Monday’s episode of “Pat Gray Unleashed,” Pat discussed a video of Democratic presidential candidate, Elizabeth Warren, caught lying about where she sent her children to school.

In this clip, a cellphone caught Warren lying to a pro-education choice activist who asked why Warren advocated for reducing education options [for American children] when she sent her son to pricey Kirby Hall, an elite private school located near Austin, Texas.

“No, my children went to public school,” Warren said.

WATCH: This Is Who Bernie Sander’s Tax Plan Hurts the Worst; Elizabeth Warren’s Tax Plan Is Horrible

By Townhall. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has been one of the strongest supporters and advocates of Medicare for All. After all, he wrote the original bill for the system. While some of the other 2020 Democrats have said they wouldn’t raise taxes on average families, Sanders has been upfront and honest that taxes would need to be raised in order to pay for this new system. But he has argued those tax increases would actually cost Americans less in the long run. . .

“What we will do — what we will do is have a four percent tax on income exempting the first $29,000,” he told a cheering crowd. “All right, good. You — you’re better at arithmetic than I am. Because what that means is if you are that average family in the middle who makes $60,000 a year, that means we’re going to tax you on $31,000 at four percent.” . . .

Is the $29,000 exemption for couples then? What is the exemption, if any, for singles? Is it safe to assume that exemption would be $14,500 (half of what he proposed for families)?

Bernie has said this would be a tax increase, so everyone would pay four percent on everything they make over the threshold he established, although that isn’t even very clear. Even with that exemption, that raises taxes on the poor and middle class, the very people Sanders has said he aims to protect.

Not only that but this proposal runs counter intuitive to his $15/hour minimum wage proposal. If he wanted everyone to make, at a minimum, $15/hour or $31,200 a year, even the so-called “working poor” would have their taxes increased.

Why Elizabeth Warren’s wealth tax is a lousy idea

By Market Watch. . .Democrats want to raise income taxes on the affluent and corporations, and Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are pushing wealth taxes to pay for student-debt relief, free college tuition, infrastructure projects, and similar initiatives to lessen inequality.

Warren’s ultra-millionaires tax would impose a 2% levy on individual fortunes over $50 million and 3% on those over $1 billion to raise, she says, about $2.75 trillion over 10 years. In her Medicare for All plan, she even floated a 6% levy for billionaires. . .

Working-class men sidelined by the Great Recession, now attracted by higher wages, are re-entering the labor force. The real inequality problem appears concentrated in the middle class — too many college degrees have not added value as specialized professionals and technicians are more in demand than generalists.

About three-quarters of household wealth may be in liquid assets like stocks and bonds but their value fluctuates. If equities were up 20% in 2021, and the IRS took $1 million from a taxpayer owning $50 billion, would it give back the money if the market fell 20% the next year? Likely not.

Larry Summers — hardly an advocate for conservative causes — notes history indicates every 1 percentage point increase in income-tax rates produces a 0.6 percentage point decrease in taxable income. That implies Warren’s ultra millionaires tax would harvest only $1 trillion—broadly in line with the analyses of other liberal and conservative economists. ‘SNL’ Mocks Joe Biden in Debate Recap: “I’m Always One Second Away from Calling Cory Booker ‘Barack'”

With an all-star cast, this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live” reenacted some of the more cringeworthy moments of last week’s Democratic presidential debate in Atlanta.

“America, I see you. And I see the faces you make when I talk – you’re scared,” Woody Harrelson, flashing a mouth full of pearly whites as Joe Biden, said. “Scared I’ll say something off-color, or even worse, on color.”

“What I want you to know is you should be scared,” he continued.” Because I’m always one second away from calling Cory Booker ‘Barack.’” . . .

“I’m a little overwhelmed because I thought 10 people were coming and now there’s 30 million,” [Kate McKinnon’s Elizabeth Warren] quipped. “But I promise dinner will be ready if you just get out of the kitchen and stop asking questions,” she said, mocking Warren’s dodging how she plans to pay for her $52 trillion Medicare-for-All plan. . .

“And, of course, this Thanksgiving, I’ll be cooking … the food of my ancestors. Should I say it? I’m going to say it. Maize.” (Read more from “‘SNL’ Mocks Joe Biden in Debate Recap: “I’m Always One Second Away from Calling Cory Booker ‘Barack'” HERE)

WATCH: Adam Schiff Just Gave a Very Misleading Answer on ‘Public Support’ for Impeachment

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) went on CNN’s “State of the Union” this morning to defend Democrats’ impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump’s dealings with Ukraine.

Anchor Jake Tapper pressed Schiff on whether there is sufficient public support for impeaching the president to justify moving forward with the case. “I don’t know if the American people, especially in the battleground states [back impeachment]” said the CNN host.

To this, Schiff responded that “the public support for impeachment has grown fairly dramatically over the past two months.”

. . .Schiff is basing his answer on technicalities that may be factually accurate (yes, more Americans favor impeaching Trump now than they did a couple of months ago), but he is grossly exaggerating current public support for impeachment.

Tapper is correct and Schiff is wrong. After two weeks of public testimonies, and two months of 96% negative media coverage of the administration, Americans are increasingly at odds with him and House Democrats on whether Trump should be impeached. WATCH: If House Impeaches, Trump ‘Wants a Trial in the Senate’; GOP Congressman Goes OFF on Schiff

By Breitbart. On Thursday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “The Story,” White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Hogan Gidley stated that if the House moves forward on impeachment, President Trump “wants a trial in the Senate” and to bring up witnesses like House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA), the whistleblower, and Hunter and Joe Biden.

GOP Congressman Accuses Schiff of Abusing His Power During Impeachment Hearings

By Washington Examiner. Rep. Mike Conaway accused House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff of abusing his power during one of the impeachment hearings held Thursday on Capitol Hill.

Conaway, a Texas Republican, became frustrated with Schiff after the California Democrat attempted to cut him off during questioning.

“Mr. Conaway, your time is expired,” Schiff told Conaway before telling the witness, David Holmes, “You were cut off when you were talking about Mr. Sondland’s indiscretion. Did you want to finish that answer?”

“Mr. Chairman, that’s patently unfair. As is this entire investigation,” Conaway shot back. Schiff said Conaway had repeatedly cut off witnesses before, a comment that elicited a furious response from the Texas Republican.

WATCH: Biden Is Visibly Upset After Being Asked About Son’s Affair

Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden became visibly annoyed with a reporter on Thursday who asked him about the news story that broke yesterday that his son, Hunter Biden, fathered a child with a woman in Arkansas while Hunter Biden was dating his brother’s widow.

Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked Biden, “Do you have a comment on this report and court filing out of Arkansas that your son Hunter just made you a grandfather?”

“No, that’s a private matter, I have no comment,” Biden responded.

Biden then showed that the question annoyed him, adding, “But only you would ask that. You’re a good man. You’re a good man. Classy.”

Mother Has Chilling Reason for Killing Three INFANT Sons (VIDEO)

A judge sentenced Ohio mother Brittany Renee Pilkington to 37 years in prison after killing her three infant sons.

Pilkington, 27, reportedly killed the children because she feared they would grow up to abuse women.

According to the Daily Mail, Pilkington was impregnated by her mother’s 47-year-old boyfriend when she was just 17 years old. The two later married. He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor sex charge in 2016, which stemmed from his relationship with Pilkington that took place when she was underage.

Pilkington pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and murder charges on Tuesday after she suffocated her three sons — ages 3 months to 4 years — in July 2014, April 2015 and August 2015, respectively, over a 13-month period.

She told authorities that she feared the boys would grow up and abuse women. Her lawyers insisted that she is brain damaged and had been abused, both physically and sexually, throughout her life. Kort Gatterdam, one of Pilkington’s attorneys, said that his client suffered from lead poisoning as a child. A doctor’s exam confirmed Pilkington’s brain damage.

‘Never Happened’: Mike Pence Contradicts Sondland Testimony (VIDEO)

Representatives for Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary of Energy Rick Perry disputed testimony given to House investigators by Ambassador Gordon Sondland on Wednesday as part of the House’s ongoing impeachment efforts.

In his opening statement, Sondland said that he told Pence about his concerns that a delay in U.S. military aid had become tied to “the issue of investigations.” This would have been before Pence was scheduled to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Warsaw, Poland.

“There was a September 1 meeting with President Zelensky in Warsaw,” the statement reads. “Unfortunately President Trump’s attendance at the Warsaw meeting was cancelled due to Hurrican[e]Dorian. Vice President Pence attended instead. I mentioned to Vice President Pence before the meetings with the Ukrainians that I had concerns that the delay in aid had become tied to the issue of investigations.”

He was also asked about the interaction later in the hearing.

However, Vice President Pence’s chief of staff, Marc Short, said that discussion simply didn’t happen.

“The Vice President never had a conversation with Gordon Sondland about investigating the Bidens, Burisma, or the conditional release of financial aid to Ukraine based upon potential investigations,” Short said in a statement. “Ambassador Gordon Sondland was never alone with Vice President Pence on the September 1 trip to Poland. This alleged discussion recalled by Ambassador Sondland never happened.”

At another point during the his opening statement, Sondland claimed that he, Ambassador Kurt Volker, and Energy Secretary Rick Perry were all in communication with President Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani over the course of “several months” and “worked with Mr. Rudy Giuliani on Ukraine matters at the express direction of the President of the United States.”

A Department of Energy spokesperson, however, said that “Ambassador Sondland’s testimony today misrepresented both Secretary Perry’s interaction with Rudy Giuliani and direction the Secretary received from President Trump.”

The disparity between accounts comes as Sondland’s spotty recollection of events related to the Ukraine matter came into question in other ways during Wednesday’s hearing. At one point, he blamed part of his difficulty in reconstructing events on the fact that he is “not a note-taker or a memo-writer.” Republican counsel Steve Castor later critiqued the witness’ lack of notes, records, and recollection as a “the trifecta of unreliability.” Sondland responded that his recollections had been “refreshed by subsequent testimony, by some texts and emails that I’ve now had access to.”

‘Christmas Ornaments, Drywall, and Jeffrey Epstein…Three Things That Don’t Hang Themselves’: Senator Demands Answers (VIDEO)

Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) said Tuesday that the American people deserve answers about the circumstances surrounding the death of billionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein while detained in a federal prison, and used a joke about “things that don’t hang themselves” to make his point.

Speaking to Federal Bureau of Prisons Director Kathleen Sawyer during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Kennedy said, “How can I put this…Christmas ornaments, drywall, and Jeffrey Epstein — name three things that don’t hang themselves. That’s what the American people think.” . . .

Kennedy acknowledged that Sawyer was not in charge of the investigation into Epstein’s death, but asked her to pass along “a very respectful message” to “tell the American people what happened.”

The Washington Examiner reported that “belief that Epstein was murdered has become a cultural phenomenon which is partly a meme and partly based in real skepticism.” Jokes and memes claiming “Epstein didn’t kill himself” have spread like wildfire since the convicted pedophile’s jailcell death in August, as questions remain unanswered about how the well-connected financier could have taken his own life as such a high-profile prisoner.

Last week, Epstein’s brother, Mark Epstein, told the Miami Herald that after reading the reports by two renowned forensic pathologists he hired to observe his brother’s autopsy, he believes his brother was murdered.
