CBSN, the digital streaming arm of CBS News, provided the latest example with an hour-long special on “consensual non-monogamy” that aired Sunday night. The special episode included a 22-minute documentary that centered around interviews with people in openly non-monogamous relationships.

Interviews with a pro-polyamory researcher and a pro-polyamory lawyer followed the documentary.

“The way our parents were brought up, monogamy felt like it was necessary. It was just the way culture accepted you, it is the way everybody accepted you. Now, things are different, things are opening, up,” Alex, who’s in an open marriage with his wife of one year, told CBSN. Alex and his wife, Bridget, both have outside partners that they date and sleep with, they said.

CBS also interviewed CJ, Brandi, and Brooke: a husband, wife and shared third partner, who described themselves as in a “triad monogamous relationship,” though their arrangement is by definition not monogamous. Brandi said that “with three people it makes it a little bit easier to get those [sexual] needs fulfilled,” explaining that sometimes she’ll have sex with CJ but not Brooke, or vice versa. . .

Grandmother Killed by Homemade ‘Pipe Bomb’ at Gender-Reveal Party (VIDEO)

An Iowa grandmother was killed in a tragic accident at a gender-reveal party over the weekend, when she was hit by metal shrapnel from a homemade pipe bomb that was set off to announce whether her next grandchild would be a boy or a girl. . .

Pamela, Kreimeyer, 56, died instantly at a home in rural Knoxville, when she was struck in the head by a metal piece from an explosive device created by family members as a display to reveal the sex of her son’s baby. The device was supposed to shoot either pink or blue powder to indicate whether the unborn child is a girl or a boy — but things went horribly wrong.

According to a statement released by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, the family “inadvertently creat[ed] a pipe bomb,” and instead of the colored powder shooting out of the top of the device as intended, “the stand exploded sending metal pieces flying.”

The statement added that Kreimeyer “was standing with other family members approximately 45 feet from the device. It’s believed that the projectile that struck the victim then continued another 144 yards through the air coming to rest in a field.”

‘Throuple’ Congresswoman Blames ‘Right-Wing Media’ for Her Downfall

Following the resignation of disgraced Democratic Rep. Katie Hill on Sunday night, the 32-year-old posted a video to YouTube blaming “right-wing media” for her downfall.

Hill resigned a week after Red State broke a story revealing that Hill was having an improper sexual relationship with one of her congressional staffers. In the wake of the #MeToo movement, for which Hill was a strong advocate, a new rule forbade such relationships because of the imbalance of power.

“This coordinated campaign carried out by the right wing media and Republican opponents enabling and perpetuating my husband’s abuse by providing him a platform is disgusting and unforgivable, and they will be held accountable,” Hill charged in the video posted Monday, according to The Blaze.

“I will not allow myself to be a distraction from the constitutional crisis we’re faced with, and the critical work of my colleagues,” she continued. “I cannot let this horrible smear campaign get in the way of that work.

“I will fight to ensure no one else has to live through what I just experienced,” Hill said. “Some people call this electronic assault, digital exploitation, others call it revenge porn. As the victim of it, I call it one of the worst things we can do to our sisters and our daughters.”

Watch Edward Snowden Detail How Phones Are Used to Spy on You

Smartphones are an important way for governments, tech companies and bad actors to snoop on you, as you leave a digital paper trail. But how does this happen?

. . .The whistleblower said that carriers are able to track your device and therefore figure out your identity via cellular towers. Snowden adds that the movements of your phone are the movements of you as a person and are unique, as you go to your home and workplace every day.

“What this means is that whenever you’re carrying a phone, whenever the phone is turned on, there’s a record of your presence at that place that is made and being created by companies. It does not need to be kept forever, and in fact there’s no good argument for it to be kept forever. But these companies see that as valuable information,” Snowden explains.

The former NSA contractor says all of this data is stored as part of bulk collection or mass surveillance, regardless of whether you did anything wrong. “And that was just talking about how you connect to the phone network. That’s not talking about all those apps on your phone that are contacting the network even more frequently.”

Snowden says that shutting your phone off does work in some ways, but questioned how you would know that your modern, sealed smartphone is actually turned off.

Rapper Kicks Fan off Stage for Refusing to Yell ‘F*** Trump’, White House Responds

Rapper YG crudely bullied a fan at his concert for refusing to yell “f*** Trump”, when pulled up on stage, has prompted a vociferous response from the White House.

“Another example of the tolerant left,” White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham sarcastically told Fox News on Monday morning.

The hit from Grisham came in response to the viral video on Sunday that showed YG treating a fan at one of his concert with contempt and disdain for not singing along to his anti-Trump anthem “FDT” (F*** Donald Trump”) after inviting the young man on stage.

“I spotted you in the crowd, I asked if you f**k with Donald Trump. You said, ‘You don’t know.’ So since you don’t know, I need you to make up your mind tonight,” said YG as he demanded that the fan state his name and yell out, “F*** Donald Trump.” . . .

“No, you won’t?” asked YG in response to the fan. “Get his ass outta here! He a Donald Trump supporter. Get his ass outta here! WATCH: An Overview of Biden’s Disastrous Weekend; Brother of Sandy Hook Victim BLASTS Joe Biden for ‘Lie’

By Daily Wire. Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden stumbled through multiple campaign stops over the weekend in North and South Carolina in what was ultimately a microcosm of how his campaign is performing.

On Saturday, Biden participated in the Second Step Presidential Justice Forum in Columbia, South Carolina, where he raised eyebrows when he was asked by an African American woman what advice he would give to her about being pulled over by a police officer.

Biden responded: “If you were my daughter, you’d be a Caucasian girl, and you wouldn’t be pulled over.”

During one point in his speech, Biden falsely claimed that Trump “said that migrants seeking refuge in America were – ‘these aren’t people, these are animals.’”

This is a lie that has been repeatedly debunked, and Biden has been repeatedly called out for repeating the lie.

Brother of Sandy Hook Victim Blasts Joe Biden for ‘Lie’, Reveals Family Barred From Air Force One Flight for Opposing Gun Control

By The Blaze. Joe Biden claimed in a recent campaign video that he met with the families of each victim of the 2012 Sandy Hook massacre, which resulted in the deaths of 20 young child and six teachers. But the brother of one of the victims says Biden is lying.

In the campaign video, Biden claimed, “Gun violence has been a concern of mine for a long, long, time. What really got to me though, really firsthand, was what happened up in Sandy Hook. I think I met with every one of the parents and/or of the families of those who are lost.”

However, 19-year-old JT Lewis, who lost his brother Jesse in the massacre, says Biden is lying.

“This is a lie. Obama came to Sandy Hook and met with every family. Joe Biden DID NOT,” Lewis said on Twitter this week.

“Joe Biden just claimed that he came to Sandy Hook after the shooting and met with every family who lost someone. It was actually Obama who did that, NOT Joe Biden,” he said. “Biden also thought he was VP when Parkland happened. @JoeBiden is either a liar or he’s losing his mind.”

Beto’s New Claim: Anyone With an AR-15 WILL Have It Taken (VIDEO)

Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke continued to say that anyone who does not turn in the types of rifles that would be banned if he becomes president, will be criminally charged and the gun will be taken away.

“Anyone who does not and is caught in possession or seen in possession of one of these weapons of war, one of these instruments of terror, that weapon will be taken from them and they will be fined. And if they should persist in continuing to — to use and to buy these weapons then there will be other consequences in the criminal code,” O’Rourke told CBS News.

The former Texas congressman maintained he expects gun owners to turn in their AR-15s and similar types of rifles. He was asked where the funding would come from in order for the government to pay for the rifles.

“I think a mandatory buyback can be financed with a surcharge that would be paid by gun manufacturers, those who are making the AR-15s and AK-47s, and continue to sell them into our communities despite the terror that they’ve inspired and the lives that they’ve been taken,” O’Rourke explained. “I think this is — is the right way to fund a mandatory buyback, without imposing any new taxes on our fellow Americans.”

Delusional? Hillary ‘Considering’ Entering 2020 Primary (VIDEO)

On the radio program Tuesday, Glenn Beck lamented the notion that twice-failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton might actually be considering another run in 2020.

According to The Associated Press, a top aide on Clinton’s 2016 campaign has predicted that the former secretary of state “will be out on the trail in 2020,” and the New York Times reported Monday that Clinton said she “would consider entering the primary,” if she saw “an opening.”

WATCH: GOP Intelligence Committee Members Sound the Alarm on How Secretly Dems Are Leading the Impeachment Process

Republican members of the House Intelligence Committee voiced their concern on Tuesday over how secretly Democrats have been conducting the impeachment process of President Donald Trump.

“This has been a closed-door, unfair, and unprecedented process. Tens of millions of Americans should know that their member of Congress has had no access to any of the transcripts. In fact, no member has been able to read every transcript,” Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) told reporters during the weekly GOP press conference.

Stefanik, a two term member of the Intelligence committee, revealed that to date, Democrats have only made the testimony from two witnesses even available to committee members — that of U.S. special representative to Ukraine Kurt Volker and U.S. ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch. Even then, Democrats have severely restricted the availability of transcripts.

“We were notified this week at our staff level that they would only be printing one transcript for every single member, whether you’re on the committee or not, and you would have to read it with a member of Democratic staff,” Stefanik explained. “That is unprecedented and unfair.”

The New York congresswoman further questioned how Democrats are able to voice their support for the impeachment proceedings when they do not even have access to the evidence. Flashback: Remarks From Biden Surface After He Attacks Trump’s ‘Lynching’ Remarks

Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden was quick to attack President Donald Trump on Tuesday after Trump referred to impeachment as a “lynching,” which is the same term that Biden used in 1998 to describe the impeachment of then-President Bill Clinton.

“So some day, if a Democrat becomes President and the Republicans win the House, even by a tiny margin, they can impeach the President, without due process or fairness or any legal rights,” Trump tweeted. “All Republicans must remember what they are witnessing here – a lynching. But we will WIN!” . . .

In an appearance on CNN in October 1998, however, Biden referred to the Clinton impeachment as a “partisan lynching,” saying:

Even if the President should be impeached, history is going to question whether or not this was just a partisan lynching or whether or not it was something that in fact met the standard, the very high bar, that was set by the founders as to what constituted an impeachable offense.
