FLASHBACK: Biden Previously Defended Another Instance Where His Son Benefited from His Political Career

For the last few weeks we have continually heard about Hunter Biden profiting off of his father, former Vice President Joe Biden’s, political connections. Hunter was being paid $50,000 a month from a Ukrainian gas company, despite having no natural energy experience, all while his dad was handling international relations with Ukraine on behalf of the Obama administration. . .

Back in 2008, Tom Brokaw grilled Joe Biden about Hunter being hired by MBNA, a credit card company based in Delaware, right out of law school. Biden had received campaign contributions from the company before and was even working on a bill MBNA backed.

“That’s a reference to your son being hired right out of law school by a big company here in Delaware that is in the credit card business, MBNA. He got about $100,000 a year, as I recall. You received $214,000 in campaign contributions from the company and from its employees,” Brokaw said. “At the same time, you were fighting for a bankruptcy bill that MBNA really wanted to get passed through the Senate, making it much tougher for everyone to file bankruptcy.”

“Senator Obama was opposed to the bill. Among other things you couldn’t, in fact, claim that you had a problem because of big medical bills. You voted against an amendment that would call for a warning on predatory lending. You also called for — you opposed efforts to strengthen the protection of people in bankruptcy,” Brokaw explained. “This has been an issue that you’ve heard about before. Your son was working for the company at the same time.” . . .

“Absolutely not. My son graduated from Yale Law School. The starting salary in Wall Street is $140,000 a year if you want to lawyer. Options he had,” Biden replied. “He came home to work for a bank. Surprise, surprise, number one.”

WATCH: Trump Stopped Cold When a Black Supporter Asked to Pray for Him — What She Did Next Floored the Room

As young black leaders gathered Friday in the White House for the Young Black Leadership Summit, one voice split the room asking for a moment to pray for President Donald Trump.

Turning Point USA’s Benny Johnson shared video of what happened when the president brought the young woman to the podium. Mahalet, once an abandoned, impoverished orphan from Ethiopia, earned smiles and cheers from the president and the gathered crowd.

“I’m not really good with prayers or anything like that but I just want to say thank you, Mr. President, and I know we have a political warfare right now, but I strongly believe that it is a spiritual one as well,” Mahalet said to cheers from the crowd.

“And I want to make sure that I mean, I know that Americans are gonna wake up and we’re gonna get back to looking to God instead of social media and we’re gonna look back to Jesus because Jesus saves and this country was founded upon the Constitution, was built on Godly principles and we’re gonna fight for that,” she said. “And I just want to encourage you guys to pray every day for this nation.” (Read more from “Trump Stopped Cold When a Black Supporter Asked to Pray for Him — What She Did Next Floored the Room” HERE)

WATCH: ‘UFO’ Spotted off NC’s Outer Banks, Video Goes Viral

A video showing a series of unidentified flying objects over North Carolina’s Outer Banks has gone viral on YouTube, racking up more than 370,000 views.

The video, first reported on by Fox 10 Phoenix, was posted to the YouTube account of William Guy. After a brief period of calm over the ocean, 14 glowing lights hovering over the water suddenly appeared.

Someone on the video can be heard saying, “Look, nothing in the sky at all, then all of a sudden…” “Anybody tell me what that is?” the person, reported to be Guy, continued.

People in the background can be heard commenting on the lights.

“We’re in the middle of the ocean, on a ferry, nothing around. Look. Nothing around. No land, no nothing,” the person added. (Read more from “‘UFO’ Spotted off NC’s Outer Banks, Video Goes Viral” HERE)

WATCH: Some 2020 Democrats Think It Should Be Legal to Knowingly Give Someone HIV

Should it be a crime to knowingly expose someone to HIV without disclosing it?

Most sane people would say yes. But a widely panned Vox article published this week said that state laws making it a crime to not disclose your HIV status “have only increased stigma and abuse.” And apparently, many 2020 Democrats agree with this ludicrous, insane point of view.

This was a common theme at Thursday night’s CNN town hall focused on gay and transgender issues, sponsored by the Human Rights Campaign. Host Anderson Cooper, for example, called laws criminalizing HIV nondisclosure “antiquated” and based on “old science.” Presidential contender Pete Buttigieg agreed, saying, “It’s not fair and it needs to change.” And both on the CNN stage and in her new LGBT issues platform, Sen. Elizabeth Warren has endorsed decriminalizing HIV transmission as well.

Sen. Cory Booker has also signed on to this radicalism, explicitly agreeing that laws requiring disclosure of HIV status to sexual partners are “archaic” and have “no scientific basis,” calling for their complete repeal.

WATCH: Gen. Mattis WARNS ISIS ‘Will Resurge’

On Sunday, ABC’s “This Week” played a Saturday-taped interview with former Secretary of Defense General James Mattis.

During the interview, host Chuck Todd asked Mattis about the ongoing situation with Turkey and the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces. Mattis asserted that “if we don’t keep the pressure on,” a reemergence of ISIS is “a given.”

MATTIS: Well, what we see is the continued reliance that we have on allies. The fight against ISIS was fought largely by the Syrian Democratic Forces. We have lost, during several years of fighting in Syria, for example, less than a dozen troops, each one a tragedy, but the Syrian Democratic Forces, primarily the Kurds, have lost well over 11,000 killed, over 23,000 wounded. So, you see how we are fighting this enemy, doing it in a way by, with, and through allies that spreads the load, so it’s not just the American people, the American taxpayer, the American troops carrying the full load.

TODD: Do you feel as if, are we still doing this fight now? Or have we just pulled back, and it’s now up to the Kurds on their own?

MATTIS: Well, it’s in a situation of disarray right now. Obviously, the Kurds are adapting to the Turkish attacks. And we’ll have to see if they’re able to maintain the fight against ISIS. It’s going to have an impact. The question is, how much?

Trump: What Ukraine’s President Just Said ‘Should End This Democrat Scam’ (VIDEO)

Comments by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at a press conference Thursday “should end this Democrat Scam,” President Trump says — if the Democrats and their allies in the media weren’t committed to it.

“The President of the Ukraine just stated again, in the strongest of language, that President Trump applied no pressure and did absolutely nothing wrong. He used the strongest language possible,” Trump tweeted Thursday. “That should end this Democrat Scam, but it won’t, because the Dems & Media are FIXED!”

In a “press marathon” Thursday, President Zelensky, the world leader on the other end of the line during the famous July 25 call that sparked the Democrats’ impeachment inquiry, once again stressed that “there was no blackmail.”

As evidence, Zelensky pointed to the fact that his government didn’t even know that the U.S. was withholding $391 million in military aid until weeks after the call. . .

“The Ukrainian government didn’t know it was being held up in Washington by Trump, according to the two Ukrainian officials,” Miller reported. “Nearly a month after the call — which Zelensky has since described as ‘good’ and Trump has called ‘perfect’ — the Ukrainian government was left stumped when they received word that the aid had in fact been suspended.” (Read more from “Trump: What Ukraine’s President Just Said ‘Should End This Democrat Scam’” HERE)

WATCH: Trans Protesters Go After Gay Presidential Candidate

Protesters interrupted South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg on Thursday at the CNN LGBTQ forum, shouting “trans people are dying, do something!”

The Democratic presidential candidate took the stage amid applause, which turned into shouts from the crowd. . .

“Let me just point out there is a long and proud tradition in history in the gay and lesbian and transgender community of protest, and we applaud them for their protest,” moderator Anderson Cooper told the crowd. “And they are absolutely right to be angry and upset at the lack of attention.” (Read more from “Trans Protesters Go After Gay Presidential Candidate” HERE)

WATCH: Popular Toddler’s Show Tackles Opioid Crisis

The enduring children’s show Sesame Street is tackling the opioid crisis with a character whose mother is struggling with an addiction.

Sesame Workshop, which is behind the show, said the new initiative features Karli, a six-and-a-half year-old Sesame Street Muppet “whose mom is dealing with addiction.”

The organization didn’t specify the nature of the character’s health problems, saying only that the issue will be explored through an ongoing series of videos and other content. . .

Sesame Street first introduced Karli in May as the face of the Sesame Street in Communities foster care initiative. The new addiction storyline explains that Karli’s was placed in foster care because her mother had to go away for treatment, though now she’s in recovery.

The show said there are 5.7 million children under the age of 11 — one in eight children — who live in households with a parent who has a substance abuse disorder. It said one in three of these children will enter foster care due to parental addiction, a number that risen by more than 50% in the past decade. WATCH: Doctor Throws down Against ’Gender Dysphoria’

Dr. Allan Josephson faced yet another hostile environment on Tuesday on the steps of the United States Supreme Court, where protestors held court to push for justices to insert gender identity and sexual orientation into the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to protect homosexuals from workplace and other types of discrimination.

Josephson, a psychiatrist and professor who led the child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Louisville School, lost his job after speaking at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, DC, in 2017 about treating children and teens for gender dysphoria.

“I found my university turning against me for asking that question,” Josephson said. “And some of my colleagues turned against me.”

“Within weeks my university demoted me despite numerous evaluations from administrators praising my skills and what I had done in my career and my professionalism,” Josephson said. “For the next year I endured a hostile environment and then finally I was effectively fired all for simply asking a question — why is this happening?” . . .

“Many of these children have serious distress, anxiety, depression, and they asked me what’s the best way to treat them,” Josephson said. “As a physician who cares about their patients my answer was straightforward.” (Read more from “Watch: Doctor Throws down Against ’Gender Dysphoria’” HERE)

WATCH: Biden Calls for Impeachment – Here’s How President Trump Responded

The man at the center of the famous phone call that sparked the Democrats’ impeachment inquiry is now officially calling for the impeachment of his potential 2020 presidential opponent.

After several of his fellow Democratic presidential hopefuls announced their full support of impeaching President Trump for asking his Ukrainian counterpart to “look into” alleged corruption involving Biden and his son, the former vice president has made it official: He now believes Congress should impeach Trump. . .

In response, Trump fired off a tweet pointing to the issue at the heart of his much-analyzed phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and suggesting that Biden was only getting behind the impeachment push because he is being rapidly overtaken in the polls by Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

“So pathetic to see Sleepy Joe Biden, who with his son, Hunter, and to the detriment of the American Taxpayer, has ripped off at least two countries for millions of dollars, calling for my impeachment – and I did nothing wrong,” he wrote. “Joe’s Failing Campaign gave him no other choice!”

Trump followed that tweet up with a video highlighting the corruption claims against Biden and calling for Americans to push back against the Democrats’ efforts to “overturn the election.”
