As impeachment fever soaks up the oxygen in Washington D.C., the crisis on the southern border with Mexico continues to get worse by the day.

Yesterday marked a new and grave milestone for Border Patrol agents as more than 1,000 illegal aliens, the vast majority falsely claiming asylum, poured over the border into the United States.

“The apprehension of 1,036 individuals in a single group – the largest group ever encountered by Border Patrol agents – demonstrates the severity of the border security and humanitarian crisis at our Southwest border,” Customs and Border Protection Deputy Commissioner Robert Perez released in a statement. “The dedicated men and women of CBP, and in particular the U.S Border Patrol, are doing their very best every day to address the influx of family units and unaccompanied children.”

Watch: Obama Decides to Uncontrollably Lie About Guns in U.S.

Former President Barack Obama told multiple lies on Thursday to a crowd in Brazil while discussing gun laws in the United States — something that he repeatedly did during his presidency.

In a clip flagged by Grabien’s Tom Elliott, Obama stated: “Some of you may be aware our gun laws in the United States don’t make much sense. Anybody can buy any weapon, any time. Without much, if any, regulation, they can buy it over the Internet, they can buy machine guns.” . . .

Stephen Gutowski, a Second Amendment reporter for The Washington Free Beacon, highlighted some of Obama’s in a series of tweets on Friday.

“Former President Obama just straight up lied about America’s gun laws while at an event in Brazil–a country with strict gun laws and an unfathomably-high gun murder rate,” Gutowski tweeted. “Former President Obama told the Brazilian crowd ‘anybody can buy any weapon any time without much, if any, regulation’ of our gun laws which is just plain false on its face. A complete lie.”

Biden Nearly Flunks Climate Change on Greenpeace Report Card

By Bloomberg. Joe Biden got a D-minus on a climate change report card ranking Democratic presidential candidates released Thursday by the liberal environmental group Greenpeace.

Biden, the Democratic front runner, has yet to release a detailed plan on how he will combat climate change. But the scorecard evaluated 19 candidates on their commitments to ending the use of fossil fuels and support for environmental policies based on statements, legislative records and published plans. Some candidates also responded to a 29-question survey from the environmental group.

“If he wants to translate his front-runner status in the polls to actual leadership on climate, we need him to come out with a bold, concrete plan in line with the scale of the crisis we’re facing,” said Janet Redman, climate campaign director for Greenpeace USA.

The Biden campaign didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. During a campaign swing in New Hampshire earlier this month, the candidate called for an “environmental revolution,” though he has yet join many of his Democratic campaign opponents in signing onto the Green New Deal. Hear Planned Parenthood Agree to Take Money to Abort Black Baby

When Justice Clarence Thomas on Tuesday urged the U.S. Supreme Court to act on various abortion-law cases because of the industry’s threat “to achieve eugenic goals,” one pro-life group immediately reached into its archives.

Live Action posted a video in which Planned Parenthood representatives agree to accept a donation to pay for the abortion of a black baby. . .

Among the responses was “absolutely” and, “We would certainly, uh, make sure that that gift was earmarked specifically for that purpose.”

An employee said it was “understandable” when the “donor” on the telephone said, “We just think, you know the – the – the less – the less black kids out there, the better.”

Twitter news aggregator Twitchy wrote: “In reality, Planned Parenthood is continuing founder and eugenicist Margaret Sanger’s mission to abort poor and minority babies in the name of ‘racial betterment.’

Watch: Pro-Lifer Demolishes Common Pro-Abortion Talking Point from Feminist

During a speaking engagement for her “Lies Feminist Tell” campus tour at Miami University of Oxford, Students for Life of America president Kristan Hawkins broke down the severely flawed and oft-repeated talking point from pro-abortion activists regarding pro-lifers allegedly only caring about children in the womb. . .

“An unborn fetus, that cannot live outside the mother, what right do you have to tell me to carry it to term?” [an audience member] asked. “If it’s an unplanned pregnancy, and odds are, that if it goes into the foster care system, it will face severe neglect and abuse.” . . .

“You just said that, if you knew that for 100% certainty, that the child you’re birthing is going to have a lifetime of suffering, that it would be better for the child, for you to kill, to end the life of the child, than for the child to suffer. So, instead of attempting to try to solve the suffering of the child, you’ve just eliminated the potential sufferer. Right?” Hawkins again reiterated.

“My question was, how do we end that suffering to make bringing a child that is unwanted into this world justifiable,” the feminist said.

WATCH: Man Sets Himself on Fire Outside White House

An unidentified man set himself on fire early Wednesday afternoon in front of sightseers on the Ellipse park in downtown Washington, D.C., not far from the White House, authorities said.

The Ellipse is a 52-acre park area that lies south of the White House and north of the National Mall, in the heart of Washington. The fire occurred just north of the Washington Monument.

Secret Service spokesman Jeffrey Adams said in a statement that the agency’s Uniformed Division Officers “responded in seconds” after the “male individual lit himself on fire.” Officers then began administering first aid to the man. . .

A spokesman for the Washington Fire Department told CNBC that, “I can confirm that we’ve transported one patient with burns from the Ellipse and we’re now on the scene assisting law enforcement,” referring to Park Police and U.S. Secret Service officers. . .

Alina Berzins, a 17-year-old recent high school graduate from Lorton, Virginia, told CNBC that she was visiting the National Mall with two of her cousins from Bolivia when “we saw this man” on the Ellipse and “he starts running, and then we saw him covered in flames.”

After Promising to Respect Women’s Space, Biden Has Creepy Interaction with Young Girl – and It’s on Video

By The Blaze. Presidential candidate Joe Biden was criticized for once again getting too close to a young girl after he promised to respect women’s personal space and act more appropriately. . .

In videos of the campaign stop, Biden tells the girl, “I bet you’re as bright as you are good looking.”

After she answers that she’s interested in journalism, so Biden grabs her and whisks her away to the back of the room where the reporters are covering the event. . .

Biden has been accused by a former Democratic lawmaker of inappropriately touching and smelling her before a campaign event. After she made her accusations, numerous women released statements offering other inappropriate behavior from the former vice president.

Where’s Joe? Biden’s campaign pace called into question

By Fox News. It’s been more than one week since Joe Biden held a public campaign event.

After launching his Democratic presidential campaign in late April, the former vice president came out of the gate with a busy schedule, holding events in all four of the states that kick off the primary and caucus calendar, as well as stops in California. And Biden started and closed that campaign swing with speeches in his native Pennsylvania, which is also a crucial general election battleground state.

But Biden hasn’t held a public campaign event since his large kickoff rally in Philadelphia on May 18. Since then, he’s only headlined a top-dollar fundraiser in Nashville, Tenn., and two more in Florida.

And while a bunch of his rivals for the 2020 Democratic nomination are stumping this holiday weekend, Biden’s off the trail.

Trump Supporter Confronts Justin Amash for Endorsing Impeachment, and It Gets Very Heated

Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) was confronted by a Trump supporter at his town hall meeting who wanted answers after the Republican Libertarian called for the impeachment of President Donald Trump. . .

“This is what Mueller and the Democrats have all tried to, and the deep state, the bureaucrats, I don’t know if you’ve ever dealt with a bureaucrat, but it’s just mind-boggling that we have to deal with them,” the woman said, “I have a lot of experience.”

“How come you’ve become a Democrat when we voted for you as a Republican because you just drink the same Kool-Aid as all the Democrats?” she asked. . .

“First I have one of the most constitutionally conservative and fiscally conservative voting records in the whole Congress,” Amash answered to great applause.

“And in fact, I have voted to spend less than any member of Congress in either chamber since I’ve been in Congress,” he explained,” so I’ve voted for less spending. When I got elected as part of the Tea Party movement, people cared about limited government, they cared about fiscal conservatism, making sure that our government wasn’t spending too much. Left-Wing Pastor Denounces ‘Straight White Men’ During Christian College Commencement Prayer — and Gets Cheers from Crowd

A left-wing pastor from a progressive church denounced “straight white men” in his commencement benediction last weekend at Baylor University, a private Christian college in Waco, Texas.

Dan Freemyer — pastor of missional engagement at Broadway Baptist Church in Fort Worth, which calls itself “fully affirming of women in lay and professional ministry roles and fully inclusive of LGBTQ+ persons” — got in a mention of the graduates’ “privileges” during his prayer Saturday morning along with an environmental appeal before turning his attention to skin color.

“And God, give them the moral imagination to reject the old keys that we are trying to give them to a planet that we’re poisoning by running it on fossil fuels and misplaced priorities,” he prayed. “A planet with too many straight white men like me behind the steering wheel while others have been expected to sit quietly at the back of the bus.” . . .

Rod Dreher, writing for the American Conservative, called Freemyer’s benediction “appalling” before asking, “I wonder how many straight white men are Baylor donors? Recordings of Priest Grooming Teenage Boy for Sex Published, Show Homosexuality’s Role in Abuse Crisis

Recordings of a priest convicted of multiple counts of sexual assault on males have been released, providing incontrovertible evidence of homosexuality as a factor in clerical sexual misconduct.

Through a Freedom of Information Act request, the Catholic media group Church Militant obtained and published secret recordings of the Diocese of Saginaw’s Father Robert DeLand Jr., 72, attempting to seduce a high school student. . .

According to Church Militant, the popular priest was working as a hall monitor at Michigan’s Freeland High School when he first singled out the young man, who had gotten into trouble with the law for underage drinking and was grieving the recent suicide of a friend. . .

“It started with DeLand offering to pay for [the victim’s] grief counseling sessions and then suggesting that he complete his community service hours at his condo, where the priest could get him alone,” explained Church Militant CEO Michael Voris in a special report yesterday.
