Biden Compares Trump’s Election to High-Profile Assassinations of Martin Luther King, Robert Kennedy; Dems Go After Biden 2020

By The Blaze. Former Vice President Joe Biden on Saturday compared the cultural ripple effect of President Donald Trump’s election to the assassinations of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and Sen. Robert Kennedy (D-N.Y.) in the 1960s.

Speaking with MSNBC host Al Sharpton during the South Carolina Democratic Convention about criminal justice reform, Biden claimed that Trump’s election ignited a cultural awakening that will shift the tides of public policy just like the assassinations of King and Kennedy drove change a half-century ago.

“I think what’s happening now is, I think that Donald Trump may have reawakened sensibilities in this country to say ‘Whoa, maybe we can do this now,’ just like our generation was awakened when Dr. King and Bobby Kennedy were assassinated,” Biden said. “Our whole generation said, ‘I’m back in, man.’ . . .

Although Biden remains the clear frontrunner for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, his gaffe-prone nature has already reared its head early into his campaign. (Read more from “Biden Compares Trump’s Election to High-Profile Assassinations of Martin Luther King, Robert Kennedy” HERE)

Democrats Call Biden ‘Unchanging’ and a ‘Disaster Waiting to Happen’

By The New York Post. Former Alaska Sen. Mike Gravel, one of just two Democratic candidates who skipped the South Carolina Democratic convention, lambasted Biden as “unchanging, unapologetic, unaware” for Biden’s recent comments praising his own work with segregationist Senate Democrats in the 1970s.

Gravel tweeted that the former vice president “is a disaster waiting to happen. If you are serious about beating Trump, you need to be serious about beating Joe and giving us a serious progressive for the White House.”

Meanwhile, in Columbia, SC, candidates tried to steer the conversation around the front-runner.

California Sen. Kamala Harris entered the convention with a drum line playing as she rode down an elevator. She attacked Trump for everything from his tax and trade policies to an alleged lack of civil rights protections for marginalized Americans. She said Trump’s economic proposals help the rich and hurt farmers. (Read more from “Democrats Call Biden ‘Unchanging’ and a ‘Disaster Waiting to Happen'” HERE)

WATCH: Pence Drops a Truth Bomb About the Border Crisis on the MSM

Vice President Mike Pence made his rounds on cable television on Sunday morning. One of the issues that repeatedly came up was crisis along our southern border. . .

CBS’ Marg Brennan asked Pence why President Trump decided to announce the hold to the deportation sting that was schedule for Sunday.

“We have a crisis on our southern border. We are on track to have more than a million people come across our border and, for the first time ever, the vast majority are families that are bringing children with them to exploit what we understand our loopholes in our asylum laws. If people come across our border, make the claim of asylum, we can detain them for only 20 days and then they’re released into the United States,” Pence explained.

“The truth is 90 percent of those claims are denied and the vast majority never show up for their hearing a year or 18 months down the road. So the president is doing his job. We both took an oath to faithfully execute the laws of this country,” Pence explained. “He set into motion an internal enforcement effort to remove people who have been given due process of law, who have been adjudicated, through a court order deported, but the president, talking with Speaker Pelosi, and other Democrats, made the decision to delay two weeks and to call on the Congress, once again, to close the loopholes that human traffickers are using to entice families.”

Trump: I don’t want to go to war with Iran

By USA Today. President Donald Trump said Friday he does not want to go to war with Iran, but warned that there will be “obliteration like you’ve never seen before” if a conflict does arise.

“I’m not looking to do that,” he said of going to war during an excerpt of an interview with NBC’s Chuck Todd for “Meet the Press” released Friday.

In the same sit-down, the president also said he is willing to talk with Iran without any preconditions.

The president’s comments come the same day he announced that he abruptly canceled an attack on Iran after it shot down a U.S. drone on Thursday. (Read more from “Here’s What Trump Thinks About Impeachment Calls” HERE)

Here’s What Trump Thinks About Impeachment Calls

President Donald Trump said it would be unfair of Democrats to try to impeach him, because he’s done nothing wrong—but if they do impeach, they’re making his 2020 win that much easier, he told NBC News.

Trump sat down for a one-on-one interview with “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd, where they discussed a variety of issues including potential impeachment, the Mueller report, and tensions with Iran.

“Why do you think Nancy Pelosi has held off her impeachment caucus,” Todd asked Trump.

“Because I think she feels that I will win much easier, and I’ve been told that by many people,” Trump replied. . .

“I think I win the election easier, but, you know, I’m not sure that I like having it,” Trump said. “Look, I did nothing wrong. I was spied on. What they did to me was illegal. It was illegal on the other side. I did nothing wrong. So, impeachment is a very unfair thing, because nothing that I did was wrong. And if you look at the Mueller report, there was no collusion.” (Read more from “Here’s What Trump Thinks About Impeachment Calls” HERE)

Released Surveillance Video Shows TSA Attacker at Airport

On Tuesday morning, a man was recorded charging Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

The newly-released video shows 19-year-old Tyrese Garner rushing a TSA security checkpoint at Terminal 4, around 9:45 a.m. on June 18th. Garner, reportedly unprovoked, pushed past other passengers and through the metal detector and injuring at least five TSA employees in his assault. . .

Arizona police arrested him on charges of criminal trespassing, assault, and resisting arrest. Local ABC affiliate Channel 15 reported that Garner attempted to “resist arrest, kicking and writhing while refusing to be taken out of the terminal.”

“Got done putting my shoes on and was walking down the hallway part there and all of a sudden I heard screaming and hollering,” witness Donnie Jones recalled.

“When he was coming over that counter… He was, like, jumping at somebody, and you could just see a bunch of swinging, and that, and you couldn’t really tell what was going on,” he continued. “I don’t know what his deal was. It was just an unhappy guy rushing through there.” (Read more from “Released Surveillance Video Shows TSA Attacker at Airport” HERE)

Bernie’s Medicare for All Plan Just Got More Radical

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) claimed on Friday at the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) Presidential Candidate Forum in Miami that healthcare is a human right that should extend to everyone in the nation including illegal aliens.

Sanders discussed his view that everyone in the nation has a right to healthcare and his goal of establishing Medicare for All.

“Now to answer your question, I will not deny that every country on earth that has a national healthcare program all have problems, that’s the nature of healthcare and a changing technology,” Sen. Sanders said.

“But what I want everybody to understand, is literally starting yesterday, the insurance companies and their drug companies are starting to spend tens and tens of millions of dollars to fight against Medicare for All,” he continued. “And we will organize the American people around the concept that all people in this country have the right to healthcare. And at the end of the day, we are going to win that struggle.” . . .

“We need the best-educated population in the world, and that means we’re gonna make our public colleges and universities tuition-free and open that to the undocumented as well,” the 2020 presidential candidate said.

Shocking Admission from Witness at Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher’s Trial Just Changed Everything

By Townhall. During the trial for Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher Thursday afternoon, who is accused by the government of committing war crimes and improperly killing an ISIS terrorist, a medic who worked on SEAL Team Seven said that he is the one who is guilty of murder. Gallagher pleaded not guilty to all charges.

“On the stand this morning was SEAL Team Seven member Corey Scott. He served with Chief Petty Officer Edward Gallagher in Iraq in 2017 and was there when that ISIS fighter died. He first testified this morning for the prosecution that yes, he saw Chief Gallagher stab the ISIS fighter, the wounded ISIS fighter, in the neck. But then in cross-examination, he said that he did not believe that that stabbing killed the ISIS fighter,” Fox News’ Jonathan Hunt reported from San Diego.

“In fact, he went on to say that he as a combat medic was holding that ISIS fighter after the stabbing and he, Corey Scott, then put his thumb over a breathing tube that had been inserted into the ISIS fighter’s mouth. He covered that breathing tube with his thumb until the ISIS fighter asphyxiated. In other words, this witness, Corey Scott, says he was the one who caused that death of that wounded ISIS fighter,” he said.

Medic Says He, Not Navy SEAL Accused of War Crimes, Killed Injured ISIS Teen in Stunning Turnaroud

By RT. A high-profile court case against decorated SEAL Eddie Gallagher, accused of killing an ISIS teen fighter and shooting at civilians in Iraq, has taken a sudden twist: the medic witness claimed responsibility for the boy’s death.

The testimony of Special Operator 1st Class Corey Scott, deployed to Mosul, Iraq with the Navy Seal medical team in 2017, has the potential to turn the premediated murder case against Gallagher upside down. . .

The ISIS fighter, reportedly 15 years old, was treated for shrapnel wounds and breathing difficulties by the Navy SEALs medical team, who were supposed to hand him over to the Iraqis. When asked by Gallagher’s attorney why he did it, Scott implied that he was putting the teen out of his misery, as he “wanted to save him from what was going to happen next to him.”

Gallagher is facing life in prison for the alleged stabbing. He also posed in a photo with the lifeless body, then conducted a reenlistment ceremony next to the corpse and hovered a drone over it.

Prosecutors, however, cast doubt on Scott’s account of events, which has never been mentioned before by any of the witnesses to the incident, noting that Scott’s own previous written testimony contradicts the bombshell revelations. Biden, Sanders Blast Trump After He Launches 2020 Campaign at Florida Rally

By The New York Post. Sen. Bernie Sanders livestreamed a surly response to President Trump’s first official campaign rally of the president cycle, while other Democratic 2020 hopefuls tweeted about it.

“It’s going to take me a little while to settle down because I just had the extremely unpleasant experience of watching Donald Trump in action for an hour and a half. Wow, and that was certainly something,” Sanders uttered to the camera in his low-budget rebuttal. “An hour-and-a-half speech of lies, distortions and total absolute nonsense.”

Sanders said he didn’t blame his supporters for being “discombobulated” after watching Trump – who used the Orlando, Florida, rally to revive some of his greatest hits, even asking the crowd what happened to his 2016 rival Hillary Clinton’s 33,000 emails. . .

“Let’s be clear: President Trump inherited a growing economy from the Obama-Biden administration,” a tweet from “Team Joe” read. “And now, he’s in the process of squandering it.” (Read more from “Biden, Sanders Blast Trump After He Launches 2020 Campaign at Florida Rally” HERE)

WATCH: Teacher Allegedly Kicks Student from Class for Saying There Are Only Two Genders

A video has surfaced that shows a teacher — speaking in a heavy Scottish accent — invoking “national school authority policy” after allegedly kicking a student out of class for declaring there are only two genders.

There is no information about who the teacher is, where or when the video was recorded, or who the student is.

Over the weekend, the user who posted the YouTube video titled, “My Teacher Kicked Me Out of Class for Saying There are Two Genders,” had the following to say: “Just to be clear, this isn’t me. This is a reupload from Reddit.” But pages seen on the Reddit link appeared to be deleted, though hundreds of comments remain.

As the video begins, the student appears to position his cellphone in such a way that the teacher won’t be able to see that their conversation is about to be recorded — and then the teacher walks through what appears to be a classroom door. . .

When the student continues arguing the two-genders-only point, the teacher grows flustered and asks, “Could you please keep that opinion to your own house? Thank you. Not in this school.” (Read more from “WATCH: Teacher Allegedly Kicks Student from Class for Saying There Are Only Two Genders” HERE)
