WATCH: Comey Attacks Trump, Fox News, Americans, Republicans in Rant

Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey attacked President Donald Trump, the Republican Party, Fox News, and Americans on Monday as he complained about having to testify in front of Congress.

“So another day of Hillary Clinton’s emails and the Steele dossier,” Comey said. “This while the President of the United States is lying about the FBI, attacking the FBI and attacking the rule of law in this country. How does that make any sense at all?” . . .

“At some point, someone has to stand up and in the face of fear of Fox News, fear of their base, fear of mean tweets,” Comey said before taking questions. “Stand up for the values of this country and not slink away into retirement but stand up and speak the truth.”

“This is not about Republicans and Democrats, this is about ‘what does it mean to be an American?'” Comey declared. “What are the things that we care about? Above our policy disputes, which are important, there’s a set of values that represent the glue of this country and they are under attack … ”

“We have to stop being numb to it, whether you’re a Republican or Democrat, you need to stand on your feet, overcome your shame and say something,” Comey whined, later adding: “People who know better, including Republican members of this body, have to have the courage to stand up and speak the truth, not be cowed by mean tweets or fear of their base. There is a truth and they’re not telling it. Their silence is shameful.”

Top Republican Predicts Flynn’s Guilty Plea Will Be Tossed. Here’s Why.

By The Blaze. A top congressional Republican predicted Sunday that special counsel Robert Mueller’s case against Michael Flynn, the former national security adviser who pled guilty to lying to the FBI, will soon be thrown out of court. . .

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), who is retiring from Congress next month, explained on Fox News Sunday that it is his belief, and indeed that of a federal judge, that FBI investigators “violated” Flynn’s Miranda rights when they interrogated him. It’s that “misconduct” that Issa alleged would lead a judge to toss Mueller’s case against Flynn.

“I would not be surprised a bit that the conviction of Flynn is overturned because of the Justice Department and the FBI’s misconduct,” Issa said.

He further explained: “Judge Sullivan has made it pretty clear that they, in layman’s terms, violated his Miranda rights, tricked him into not having a lawyer, when, in fact, he was not only a suspect, but a target, and they had transcripts, this kind of conduct, we haven’t seen in a long time.” . . .

“In fact, we go potentially all the way to Supreme Court with new protections when the FBI and the Department of Justice lies to somebody and tricks them into making statements, and then charges them with a lie that they entrapped them in,” Issa explained.

Where Is the Flynn 302?

By National Review. . .My purpose in this post is not to rehash the column. It is to highlight something I address in the middle: the missing FBI report of Flynn’s interview on January 24, 2017 — i.e., the Flynn 302. As I write in the column:

It was only after Mueller was appointed in May 2017 that the investigation of Flynn appears to have picked up steam and a false-statements plea was finally negotiated in late November.

There are many peculiarities about this. Pressing at the moment, for example, is the special counsel’s release yesterday of the FBI report (the “302” form) pertaining to Flynn’s interview. Media reports had said that even though Flynn was interviewed on January 24, 2017, the 302 documenting the interview was not completed until August 22, 2017, seven months later. Clearly, this raises the possibility that the interview report was drafted not when the agents formed their initial impressions, but months later when the special counsel was squeezing Flynn and there was a motive to make the interview appear more deceptive than it seemed at the time.

To my eye, the situation is even more disturbing than the press reporting suggests. It appears that there is no 302 of the Flynn interview. The 302 dated August 22, 2017, which Mueller submitted to the court, documents an interview of Peter Strzok, not of Flynn. It appears that this interview of Strzok took place on July 19, notes of the interview were drafted the next day (July 20), and the 302 was approved and entered into the FBI’s files on August 22. The question obviously arises: Where is the Flynn 302? FBI procedures would have called for a report within a few days of the interview. It is not that there wasn’t one for seven months. For now, it looks like none has been produced at all.

Planned Parenthood Admits Unborn Are Babies — in Preschool Sex Ed

By National Review. The nation’s largest abortion provider described an unborn human being as both a “pregnancy” and as a “baby.” The only difference was in the audience: The former was the term used for women seeking an abortion, while the latter was for preschoolers.

Planned Parenthood used the b-word in a November 14 video for parents. The three-minute animated film — “How Do I Talk With My Kid About Where Babies Come From?” — has gone largely unnoticed by the media, even though an earlier video for parents about gender made headlines recently. This one proved just as newsworthy, if only because of Planned Parenthood’s discrepancy.

At the film’s beginning, a female narrator recommends that parents “keep it simple and direct” with younger children. A parent might say that a “baby grows in a parent’s belly and comes out their vagina.” Or, if that’s not enough information for little ones, parents can add that “if sperm and egg meet, they can grow into a baby.”

But while the narrator was ready and willing to mention birth — and even birth-control — in the video meant for children’s education, she didn’t mention the issue of abortion.

Online, in its resources for pregnant women, Planned Parenthood calls abortion the “ending of a pregnancy.” But for children, abortion would be the ending of a “baby” if they learn, as Planned Parenthood instructs, that it is a baby that grows inside their mother’s belly. Planned Parenthood Urges Holiday ‘Presents’ for Mike Pence

By Breitbart. Abortion vendor Planned Parenthood, which considers Mike Pence to be among its most fervent enemies, has released a list of suggested holiday presents for the pro-life vice president.

Among the items on the list is the ever-popular “donation to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund in Pence’s Name.”

Donations to America’s largest abortion provider in Pence’s name have been trendy among abortion rights advocates since Pence was governor of Indiana. The practice, however, reached its peak in November 2017, when actress Mila Kunis told Conan O’Brien, while appearing on his talk show, she donates to Planned Parenthood in Pence’s name to protest his pro-life policies. WATCH: Trump’s Next Chief of Staff Called Him ‘a Terrible Human Being’ Just Before He Was Elected President

Mick Mulvaney, the Office of Management and Budget Director who President Donald Trump tweeted Friday would serve as acting chief of staff after John Kelly departs in January, has been a loyal Trump supporter — he just didn’t always like it so much.

During a debate with his then-congressional challenger, Democrat Fran Person, on Nov. 2 of 2016, less than a week before Trump was elected president, then- congressman Mulvaney was blunt with those gathered at York Middle School in York, South Carolina.

After decrying the Democratic nominee former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as a liberal who would take the country in the wrong direction, Mulvaney said he was supporting Trump, essentially by default.

“Yes, I am supporting Donald Trump, but I’m doing so despite the fact that I think he’s a terrible human being,” he said, according to a report in The State newspaper.

Pelosi Reveals Trump’s Wall Funding Fate

On Thursday, House Democratic Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., indicated to reporters that she would rather keep the government shut down indefinitely than send a bill to President Trump’s desk that funds a border wall.

Asked why President Trump would sign a Democratic bill that doesn’t include wall funding, Pelosi replied, “Does he want to have government closed forever?”

Congress must pass an appropriations bill to fund the government before the year’s end. Failing to do so will cause a partial government shutdown. President Trump on Tuesday vowed to take responsibility if the government shuts down, saying he would be “proud to shut down the government for border security,” and insisting that Democrats fund the wall or close up shop.

Either Trump or the Democrats will have to cave, and whoever caves first will face angry voters. (For more from the author of “Pelosi Reveals Trump’s Wall Funding Fate” please click HERE)

Indiana Police Thwart Would-Be School Shooter’s Plan

By The Blaze. An unidentified male teenager is dead after police thwarted plans to attack an Indiana school on Thursday. . .

The teenager was on his way to Dennis Intermediate School in Richmond, Indiana, when police received a tip that the teen was planning to carry out a plan to commit violence at the school.

However, the police were able to act quickly and stop the teen from carrying out his plan.

CNN reports that the teen exchanged gunfire with officers at the school before turning the gun on himself, according to Indiana State Police Sgt. John Bowling. . .

It is unclear at this time whether the teen was a student at the school, or why the teen decided to target Dennis Intermediate School, which enrolls 560 children from grades 5-8. No students were injured in the incident. (Read more from “Indiana Police Thwart Would-Be School Shooter’s Plan” HERE)

Teen Planned to Commit Violence at Indiana School, but Police Say Tipster Helped Them Stop Him

By CNN. A teenager was en route to an Indiana middle school Thursday to commit an act of violence, but police were able to stop him after receiving a tip, state police said. . .

“Someone knew something, and they said something,” the sergeant said, attributing the fact that no students were hurt to the tipster.

Richmond Community Schools received the tip, notified police and put all of its schools on lockdown before the police or gunman arrived, district spokeswoman Bridget Hazelbaker said. . .

The suspect was a former student in the district, Hazelbaker said. It was not clear which school he attended. (Read more from “Teen Planned to Commit Violence at Indiana School, but Police Say Tipster Helped Them Stop Him” HERE)

Watch: Mom Sings Creepy Lullaby Her Baby ‘Gave’ Before She Aborted It During ‘Blessing’ for Clinic

A mother in Ohio claims she saw a vision of her baby singing her a lullaby moments before aborting it. She recently sang that “lullaby” while speaking at a “blessing” of an abortion clinic.

“In Columbus, Ohio, that image of a mother soothing her child through song was flipped on its head at a shocking pro-abortion rally,” reports LifeNews. “One mother at the rally recounted her abortion by singing a lullaby she said her baby sent to her while she was in the waiting room preparing to kill the child.”

The event billed itself as a “blessing” of Your Choice Healthcare, a non-surgical abortion clinic in Columbus, OH. Along with the mother’s creepy serenading, other women speakers spoke of their positive experiences with abortion. And just to up the event’s blasphemy quotient to 11, several clergy members called upon the Almighty to “bless” the clinic and protect its submission. . .

Pro-life advocates who witnessed the performance recalled the haunting experience of hearing a mother turn a song about love into an anthem for murder. “Watching this mother sing the lullaby to those gathered is haunting. This tune became the music of murder for one baby, and those assembled celebrated in hopes it would become the same for countless other children,” pro-life advocate Mark Harrington, President of Created Equal, told LifeNews.

The event was sponsored by the so-called Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice as a closing ceremony counterpoint to the 40 Days for Life campaign where “pro-life advocates pray outside abortion facilities worldwide and offer practical pregnancy help and support for women,” according to LifeNews. Watch: Travelers Stop What They’re Doing to Sing the National Anthem to Gold Star Families

As Gold Star Families were making their way through Nashville International Airport to participate in the Gary Sinise Foundation’s annual Snowball Express program, fellow air travelers decided to show their support by singing the national anthem.

“At the Nashville airport I walked out into the concourse to this scene @americanairlines was flying a plane full of children who had lost a parent in combat to Disneyworld on an all expenses paid trip and they threw a party for them at the gate,”Jen Tringale wrote on Facebook. “But when they announced them over the [loudspeaker] and they lined up to board the plane the whole airport literally stopped and sang the national anthem with military present in salute.”

“Most every person standing around, myself included was bawling at the sight of these kids and spouses who have paid so great a price for our country. To see all of this at Christmas time was so humbling. Seeing the general public in an airport stand still to honor these kids was simply beautiful,” she added.

Democrat Rep Admits to Wanting to Regulate Free Speech

. . .[Dem Rep. Ted] Lieu made the comment while talking to CNN’s Brianna Keilar about Tuesday’s House Judiciary Committee hearing with Google CEO Sundar Pichai.

Keilar opened the exchange with an extremely long question which managed to (1) dismiss Republican concerns about Google (2) compliment Lieu for a stunt he used to dismiss Republican concerns about Google and (3) still criticize Google for how it manages its searches. Here’s how it went:

Keilar: You took an opportunity to push back on Republican claims of bias in Google searches. In the middle of this hearing you Googled Republican Steve Scalise, you Googled, after that, Republican Steve King to show that there were favorable stories, including from conservative outlets, about Scalise, negative coverage of King, and you made the point, essentially, that that’s not because of a Google algorithm, it’s because of what these members do and say. I will say, it was clever, and caught some attention, but I wonder, have you thought that, maybe, you and other Democrats missed opportunities to use your time to press Google’s CEO at a time when these large tech companies are struggling to manage content, perpetuating conspiracy theories, they’re so vulnerable to outside interference, isn’t that a focus that could’ve been a missed opportunity?

Lieu: So it’s a very good point you make. I would love, if I could have more than five minutes, to question witnesses. Unfortunately, I don’t get that opportunity. However, I would love to be able to regulate the content of speech. The First Amendment prevents me from doing so, and that’s simply a function of the First Amendment, but I think over the long run, it’s better the government does not regulate the content of speech. I would urge these private sector companies to regulate it better themselves. That’s really nothing I believe government can do, so that’s been my position all along.

5 Jaw-Dropping Moments From Trump’s WILD Meeting With Pelosi and Schumer

President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., had a wild meeting at the White House Tuesday, when a debate over government funding for a border wall spontaneously erupted in front of the press and ended with Trump vowing to take the blame for a potential government shutdown.

Kicking things off, Trump welcomed the press to the meeting and discussed the issues they would talk about. The tone was set when Trump joked to Schumer about wall funding being “easy” and Schumer snidely corrected him, “It’s called funding the government, Mr. President.”

Trump predicted that he might not come to an agreement with the Democratic leaders. Calling on Pelosi to say something, she said the government “should not have a Trump shutdown.”

That set the president off.

Trump was eager to defend his position, arguing that he has the votes for a wall in the House but that Schumer’s Senate Democrat obstructionism is blocking wall funding in the Senate. Pelosi did not want to have this debate in front of the press.

Disagreements intensified. An argument over whether strong border security necessitates a physical wall devolved into squabbles over the state of the economy and over the margin of victory for Democrats and Republicans in the 2018 midterms.

At one point, Schumer shot at Trump: “When the president brags that he won North Dakota and Indiana, he’s in real trouble.”

Schumer and Pelosi repeatedly stated that they had come in “good faith” to prevent a government shutdown. But Trump had had it with both of them. The president insisted on funding for a wall and vowed to take the blame for a government shutdown, if that’s what it takes.

So what did we learn?

First, Trump and the Democratic leaders are living in different realities on wall funding. There’s likely not much room for compromise there. The Democrats got what they want when Trump said he’d take the blame for a shutdown. Trump got what he wanted by putting them on the spot in front of television cameras. After this performance, it’s hard to imagine either side backing down from a government shutdown.

Second, Pelosi and Schumer do not want this debate to air in front of the press. It’s harder to cast Trump as a villain when he’s in the same room insisting on protecting Americans from violent criminal illegal aliens and drug-pushing gangs.

Third, though the media hate this president because he insults them, he once again proved he is the most transparent and media-friendly American president in living memory. Can you imagine any other president allowing this debate to play out in front of the press?
