Flashback: Stunning Video Proves How Schumer Truly Feels About Illegal Aliens

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has been at the center of the immigration debate and continually at odds with President Donald Trump’s desire to secure the southern border. What’s interesting is, back in 2009, Schumer admitted that policies like Trump’s are good for the nation.

Schumer addressed the 6th Annual Immigration Law and Policy Conference at Georgetown University in 2009. In his message, he said a number of things that contradict his current outlook on illegal immigration and border security.

“The first of these seven principles is that illegal immigration is wrong, plain and simple. When we use phrases like ‘undocumented workers,’ we convey a message to the American people that their government is not serious about combating illegal immigration, which the American people overwhelmingly oppose,” Schumer explained.

“People who enter the United States without our permission are illegal aliens, and illegal aliens should not be treated the same as people who entered the United States legally,” Schumer said. “Any immigration solution must recognize that we must do as much as we can to gain operational control of our borders as soon as possible.”

Remember the FBI Agent Who Accidentally Shot Someone While Doing a Backflip? This Is His Fate.

Back in June, FBI agent Chase Bishop was at a bar in Denver when he decided to do a backflip with his duty weapon on his hip. When he made the made the flip, his gun fell out of the waistband of his pants. As Bishop picked up the firearm to place it back in his pants, he accidentally hit bar-goer Tom Reddington. The round hit one of Reddington’s main arteries. According to his attorney, he could have died had witnesses not created a tourniquet with a belt while they waited for EMS to arrive. And it was all caught on video.

According to KMGH-TV, Bishop pleaded guilty to third-degree assault – negligent discharge of a deadly weapon. When he was originally arrested this summer, prosecutors wanted to go after him for felony second-degree assault with a deadly weapon. . .

“This is a tragic situation It’s a lesson for everyone: How decisions, when you’re not being conscious of what you’re doing, decisions you make carelessly, with negligence, can turn into really serious consequences,” Brody said. . .

“We believe that this agreement strikes an appropriate balance of seeking justice for the victim and unsuring that this type of incident does not happen again,” Denver District Attorney Beth McCann said in a statement. . .

As part of his plea agreement, Bishop must serve two years of probation, pay into the Victim’s Assistance Fund, pay a $1,200 probation supervisor fee, and pay court costs and other administrative fees. ICE Released Hundreds of Migrants in THIS State Before Christmas — and Is Planning to Release Hundreds More

By The Blaze. The Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement released hundreds of migrants seeking asylum into El Paso, Texas, just before Christmas — and they’re scheduled to several many more on Wednesday.

Local aid groups complained that ICE provided no prior warning before dropping off the more than 200 migrants at the bus depot in El Paso without money, food or means of communication. They were released late Sunday evening.

CNN’s Nick Valencia reported that ICE plans to release more than 500 more migrants seeking asylum in the same city on Wednesday, but with more cooperation with local aid organizations. They will also be released in Las Cruces, New Mexico. . .

ICE Continues to Release Asylum-Seekers at Public Park in El Paso, Texas

By NPR. For the third day in a row, Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials released hundreds of migrant asylum-seekers at a park near a bus station in downtown El Paso. The comparisons to Mary and Joseph wandering the roads of Bethlehem seeking shelter are unavoidable for dozens of volunteers who have stepped in to help. Especially on Christmas Day.

“I kept having the phrase go through my head last night, ‘There’s no room at the inn, we’ve got to make some,'” Kathryn Schmidt, a social worker who co-founded the Borderland Rainbow Center, an LGBTQ community center, told NPR. . .

Beginning on Sunday and continuing into Christmas Eve, ICE dropped off approximately 400 migrants near the Greyhound bus terminal with no apparent plan in place for the men, women and children.

Typically, ICE coordinates with local shelters whenever the agency’s processing centers are over capacity. But this time ICE failed to contact them in advance, and has continued to bus the mostly Central American immigrants to the public park, leaving them completely reliant on generous strangers who have been showing up in droves to distribute food, water and blankets as temperatures drop into the 40s.

But by Christmas afternoon, when 134 immigrants were released by federal agents, ICE had resumed communications with local aid organizations who are now transporting the migrants to nearby shelters. (Read more from “ICE Continues to Release Asylum-Seekers at Public Park in El Paso, Texas” HERE)

Kevin Spacey Charged With ‘Indecent Assault and Battery’ for Alleged 2016 Incident

On Monday, Cape and Islands District Attorney Michael O’Keefe announced that actor Kevin Spacey has been charged with indecent assault and battery for a crime he allegedly committed in 2016, reports the Associated Press. . .

During a press conference in November 2017, [former news anchor Heather] Unruh detailed the allegations:

It happened late night inside the Club Car restaurant and bar on Nantucket island. The victim, my son, was a star-struck, straight, 18-year-old young man who had no idea that the famous actor was an alleged sexual predator, or that he was about to become his next victim. My son was not of legal age to drink alcohol. He told Kevin Spacey that he was of legal age. But whether he was over 21 or not, Kevin Spacey had no right to sexually assault him. There was no consent. Kevin Spacey bought him drink after drink after drink, and when my son was drunk, Spacey made his move and sexually assaulted him.

…Spacey stuck his hand inside my son’s pants and grabbed his genitals. This was completely unexpected, and my son’s efforts to shift his body to remove Spacey’s hand were only momentarily successful. The violation continued. My son panicked, he froze. He was intoxicated, and Kevin Spacey was insisting that he come with him to a private, after-hours party to drink even more.

. . .

Spacey, who disappeared from the public eye approximately one year ago after a glut of allegations were made against him regarding sexual harassment and assault, released a strange video on Monday titled, “Let Me Be Frank,” in which he appears to play a hybrid of himself and his character Frank Underwood from Netflix’s “House of Cards.” (Read more from “Kevin Spacey Charged With ‘Indecent Assault and Battery’ for Alleged 2016 Incident” HERE)
