Homeless Man Returns $10,000 Check, Gets Rewarded in Huge Way

On November 14, a successful business woman from New Haven thanked a homeless man, who returned a $10,000 check she had dropped in the street, by giving him money and entrance into her real estate school, free of charge.

But, Wednesday morning, another surprise awaited the homeless man. The Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce played hist to some true thanks giving.

“He has absolutely no idea what’s about to happen,” said Dr. Roberta Hoskie, who was about the change the homeless man’s life . . .

Hoskie reminded Mr. Alvarez she will pay for his real estate course through her school and English language classes. Then, an unexpected gift.

“You don’t have to worry about being in the cold,” she told Alvarez. “We have housing for you.” (Read more from “Homeless Man Returns $10,000 Check, Gets Rewarded in Huge Way” HERE)

North Korean Defector Escapes Through Hail of Bullets

By Alicia Powe. North Korea typically claims defections from the oppressed, tightly controlled hermit country are actually kidnappings by South Koreans.

But stunning footage was released by the American-led United Nations Command showing a disease-ridden North Korean soldier risking his life to escape the rogue regime and fleeing across the border into South Korea while being shot by his former comrades.

The footage, released Wednesday, marks the first time the U.N. Command disclosed security footage of a defection across the heavily fortified demilitarized zone, or DMZ, that divides North and South Korea, said Hochong Song, a public affairs officer for U.S. Forces Korea.

The 24-year old soldier can be seen speeding on the North Korean side of the DMZ toward the border in a vehicle as his fellow military officers fire at him.

The wounded defector then crawls across the border, finally emerging on South Korean territory before collapsing and being pulled into safety by border guards. (Read more from “North Korean Defector Escapes Through Hail of Bullets” HERE)

North Korean Defector’s Daring Escape Caught on Video

By Justin McCurry. Dramatic footage has emerged showing a North Korean military defector fleeing across the border to South Korea as he is pursued and shot at by his compatriots before being hauled to safety by troops from the other side.

The video, released on Wednesday by the UN command in the South, shows the soldier, who defected last week, racing towards the border village of Panmunjom in a military vehicle before crashing it and continuing his escape on foot.

The video shows the man collapsed on the ground after being shot just south of the demilitarised zone [DMZ].

Later three members of South Korea’s security battalion security forces crawl to the wounded defector and drag him away to safety.

The release of the footage came amid news that the unnamed soldier, who was shot at least five times during his escape, was showing signs of recovery. (Read more from “North Korean Defector’s Daring Escape Caught on Video” HERE)

Watch: Student Has Security Called on Him for Using the Word ‘Tranny’

The University of Minnesota-Morris has threatened a student radio show with cancellation after one of the hosts used the word “tranny” on-air, with campus officials offering several shifting reasons for pulling the show from the airwaves. The College Fix has obtained exclusive video of the moment when the students were pulled from the air during the middle of their show . . .

During a discussion about the university’s lack of “Antifa” violence, Albrecht said the campus was too small for a potential violent activist to hide his identity.

“You know, you can definitely, you see one tranny that’s trying to punch someone,” Albrecht told The Fix he said on-air. “You know it’s automatically that one guy that you know I’m talking about. I bet you know. I’m not going to dox anybody and name them on air. But you two know if I say the tranny who looks like he’s going to punch someone. Yep.”

“About fifteen minutes later,” Albrecht told The Fix, “the student station manager came into the studio with a UMMPD officer and told us to leave. She said we had violated FCC law by saying a word that was never allowed on air, ‘tranny.’ So we packed up and left the studio.”

“Hey guys, I am just going to have you leave. You said a couple words that break FCC violations,” the manager says, according to the video, which appears to be lightly edited for time. “And so for today I am going to have you stop your show. Specifically tranny. That is a hate slur it is not allowed on radio. I need you to leave.” (Read more from “Student Has Security Called on Him for Using the Word ‘Tranny'” HERE)

Virginia Governor-Elect Names Abortion, LGBT Activists to Transition Team

The governor-elect of Virginia’s newly-announced transition committee is a who’s-who of leftist, pro-abortion activists, including the communications director of the commonwealth’s Planned Parenthood affiliate.

One of the most controversial points in Ralph Northam’s campaign came when the Latino Victory Fund released an ad in support of him suggesting his opponents are racists who want to murder minority children. The ad showed a pickup truck with a sticker supporting his Republican opponent, Ed Gillespie, flying a Confederate flag and chasing down minority children. The car also had a conservative “don’t tread on me” license plate.

The Latino Victory Project’s board chair, Leopoldo Martinez, was named to Northam’s transition committee.

Northam said his new team reflects “the diversity that makes our Commonwealth a wonderful and inclusive place to live” and will “build an administration that reflects Virginia and takes our Commonwealth to the next level.”

Tarina Keene, the executive director of NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia, is on the committee. So is Alexsis Rodgers, Planned Parenthood of Virginia’s director of communications. (Read more from “Virginia Governor-Elect Names Abortion, LGBT Activists to Transition Team” HERE)

Professor Exposes UCLA’s ‘Dirty Tricks’ Against Conservatives

Keith Fink, a former communications professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, recently revealed the “dirty tricks” that he says UCLA uses to silence conservatives on campus.

In a detailed presentation to the Bruin Republicans last week, the professor revealed several unique details surrounding his June termination and his failure to pass a so-called “excellence review” issued by the academic institution.

“Everything changed last year,” said Fink, speaking in front of about 100 students. “That is because the Department ended up getting [a new Chair] extremely to the left who despised me even though she never met me from the moment I was hired.”

From there, Fink extensively outlined nine “dirty tricks” utilized by the administration in order to terminate him from the university, including restricting enrollment in his popular free speech course, preventing the professor from using his own student evaluations in his review process, and refusing to create an unbiased evaluation panel.

“They ask you in this process, it probably makes some sense, ‘tell us who is biased against you?’” Fink noted. “I would assume they ask you who is biased because those who are biased against you then will not be involved in the process of deciding whether or not you are qualified to continue teaching.” (Read more from “Professor Exposes UCLA’s ‘Dirty Tricks’ Against Conservatives” HERE)

Moore Accuser’s Attorney Refuses to Answer If Yearbook Signature Is a Forgery

Wednesday, on “The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer” on CNN, Gloria Allred, the attorney for Roy Moore accuser Beverly Nelson, said that she’s not addressing whether the yearbook signature her client put forward is legitimate, but will allow it to be examined in a professional setting.

Blitzer asked, “Can you say flatly to our viewers right now, Gloria, that the signature, what he wrote in that yearbook in 1977, according to her, can you say flatly that was not a forgery?”

Stepson of Roy Moore Accuser: She’s Lying

By The Gateway Pundit. Darrel Nelson, the stepson of Judge Roy Moore accuser Beverly Young Nelson says the allegations are all lies. Nelson says he is baffled by the timing of the sexual advancement claims and voices his staunch support for the Alabama GOP Senate candidate.

Nelson, 56, held a press conference in New York with embattled attorney Gloria Allred on Monday, alleging Judge Roy Moore sexually harassed her when she was 16 years old.

According to Beverly Young Nelson’s account reported by the Washington Examiner, “Moore offered to drive her home from work one night but instead parked in a “dark, deserted” part of a parking lot behind the restaurant where she worked. Nelson said Moore groped her and “began squeezing my neck attempting to force my head onto his crotch.”

Nelson begins the video by saying “Mr. Moore, I support you. I don’t believe the acts that she claims you’ve done — I don’t believe it.”

“I’ve known the woman, she married my father many, many years ago. I’ve known her for a while now, and I truly do not believe that she’s being honest about this,” added Nelson. (Read more from “Stepson of Roy Moore Accuser: She’s Lying” HERE)

Roy Moore’s Lawyer Casts Doubt on Accuser’s Story

By Eli Watkins. Former Judge Roy Moore continues to deny allegations of sexual abuse against him, his attorney Phillip L. Jauregui said at a news conference Wednesday, during which he attempted to cast doubt on the story of one of Moore’s accusers.

Jauregui specifically focused on pushing back on the accusation from Beverly Young Nelson, 56, who said on Monday that Moore sexually assaulted her when she was 16 years old. Jauregui took issue with the statements of Nelson and her attorney Gloria Allred, saying Nelson falsely claimed that she never spoke to Moore again after the time of her alleged assault.

“As it turns out, in 1999, Ms. Nelson filed a divorce action against her then-husband, Mr. Harris,” Jauregui said. “Guess who that case was before? It was filed in Etowah County, and the judge assigned was Roy S. Moore, circuit judge of Etowah County. There was contact.” (Read more from “Roy Moore’s Lawyer Casts Doubt on Accuser’s Story” HERE)

Mall of America ‘Looks Like Somalia’

Actor James Woods has a special knack for riling up Democrats and he has done it again with a tweet in which he posted a video of Muslims filing into the Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota.

The tweet, which included a video of hundreds of Somali Muslims inside the mall in brightly colored robes and hijabs, comes on the heels of a vicious knife attack by a Muslim at the same mall on Sunday night . . .

On Tuesday, Woods tweeted the following:

Although it is unclear when the video was originally captured, “Nickelodeon Universe is a popular destination for Minnesota families, including the state’s sizable Somali-American population, particularly during Eid al-Adha, the biggest religious holiday in the Muslim world,” according to the Star-Tribun . . .

“Good lord. I thought this was fake, but it’s not. This is video footage taken at the Mall of America,” posted Charles Campbell. “Am I in Somalia?” (Read more from “Mall of America ‘Looks Like Somalia'” HERE)

Mystery: Robocall Seeks ‘Damaging’ Info on Moore

The Executive Editor, Marty Baron, of the Washington Post released the following statement:

“The Post has just learned that at least one person in Alabama has received a call from someone falsely claiming to be from The Washington Post. The call’s description of our reporting methods bears no relationship to reality. We are shocked and appalled that anyone would stoop to this level to discredit real journalism.” . . .

Another development involving the U.S. Senate race in Alabama. At least one person in our viewing area received a robocall seeking more damaging information about Roy Moore. Here is the text of that voicemail message received by Pastor Al Moore in Creola.

“Hi, this is Bernie Bernstein, I’m a reporter for the Washington Post calling to find out if anyone at this address is a female between the ages of 54 to 57 years old willing to make damaging remarks about candidate Roy Moore for a reward of between $5000 and $7000 dollars. We will not be fully investigating these claims however we will make a written report. I can be reached by email at [email protected], thank you.” (Read more from “Mystery: Robocall Seeks ‘Damaging’ Info on Moore” HERE)

Rand Paul: Neighbor’s Attack Wasn’t About Landscaping

Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul spoke out on Monday for the first time since being attacked by his neighbor 10 days ago, saying in an interview that there’s “no justification” for the attack.

Paul’s socialist neighbor, Rene Boucher, tackled Paul from behind while he was mowing his lawn, leaving Paul with six broken ribs. Boucher has said the attack was over a “trivial matter.”

“From my perspective, I’m not really too concerned about what someone’s motive is,” Paul told the Washington Examiner. “I’m just concerned that I was attacked from the back and somebody broke six of my ribs and gave me a damaged lung where at least for now I have trouble speaking and breathing and now I’ve hurt for 10 days.”

“There is no motive that would justify hitting somebody from behind and breaking their ribs and damaging their lungs, so no, there is no justification for something like that,” he added.

Paul also knocked down media reports that the attack was the culmination of a landscaping feud between the two neighbors, telling the Examiner that he hadn’t spoken to Boucher in 10 years. “My first encounter was basically being hit in the back,” he said. “We’ve never had words over anything, we’ve never had a dispute or discussion or word.” (Read more from “Rand Paul: Neighbor’s Attack Wasn’t About Landscaping” HERE)
